"Bonechard, where are the children? We need to go, now!" Gunmar bursts into the brewery, panting and out of breath, "There's no time for questions, just give them to me and follow!"

The wards he'd put on the brewery to keep Gunmar out, burst with a violent CRACK, energy sparkling down along the walls of the Heartstone Brewery.

"Gunmar!" Bonely shouted, his voice startled and indignant. "Soverign's hill, what're yeh doin' here!?"

He looked around at the thralls, all of them shrugging just as confused as he was. "The kids? Uhh, they ain't here, I thought - they're probably out explorin' after doin' sparrin' lessons with Traabyrn. Why, what's goin' on?"

Bonely lumbered forward, hurgling softly as he snuggled up to his mate. He knew he hadn’t been able to be by Gunmar’s side during the haunting, but the darklands needed managing and Salem needed prepping.

His runes glowed as he nestled in with Gunmar, a bolster ready for his touch. “Salem’s got the wards up,” he murmured. “I got the Heirs with Kat right now, but with the wards, I’ll be having them come back later.”

The caster nuzzled Gunmar and looked up at him. “How are yeh? I’ve been worried about yeh…”

With the beacon set and Salem resting from his work, Bonely shuffled into the chamber he and Gunmar shared. The Heirs were with Kat and her youngins, the haunting being too severe to keep them near. But with the beacon, he hoped things would ease.

“Gunmar?” He called softly. “Am I a’right teh come in?”

"Come."

Guinmar is sitting up in the bed, looking no better for the nights sleep he finally managed.

Gunmar lifts a hand in greeting, reaching for his bond in a wordless plea. He'd never ask, only the slight stretch of his fingers indicated how alone he felt.

I took a much needed self care day after a very, very busy weekend and this was the PERFECT treat to arrive today! I love my little travel sized scrunkly and the print from @tsukioreo signed by none other than Jason Spisak. It reads: You can be brave for a moment, or hide for a lifetime.” And I just think that quote is so fitting for this part of my life, and it’s even more sentimental to me that Jason picked it himself!

This week's Tavern Brawl is a repeat of sorts. Miniature Warfare - Standard edition. So, no Dr. Boom shenanigans but I've turn 1 Alexstraza into coin into bonemare. This brawl is great because it's non-stop shenanigans. I'm 7-3 with a Rogue build and I'm having a ton of fun. It's also a great way to complete your quests this week to earn your extra packs!

Gunmar glanced briefly at his sons then scoffs quietly to himself.

There's no way the clock would open the bridge.

Braxas parried Bronte with his stick, the two of them growling and shouting as they sparred while their sisters and brother watched intently. The thrall Traabyrn watched over them as the match went on, pausing as she noticed the Dark Underlord glance their way.

She cocked her head, wondering if the scoff was of displeasure at his sons' display but she shook the thought off. If the Dark Underlord was displeased, he would correct them and punish her for instructing them poorly. So the fact that he wasn't meant it was something else.

The Caster, however, noticed the scoff and trotted around the sparring ring to the larger troll. "Somethin' on yer mind, Gunmar?" Bonely asked, nudging him lightly.

If there was one bad thing about this whole situation, it was that Bonely had no idea where the blasted portal was. But he knew how to call and so he did. He howled for his youngins who howled back as they clung to their sire's mane. With them in earshot, Bonely chased after them, praying to his Sovereign that whatever magicks were involved, that they'd hold a little longer!

'Please! Please let whatever's goin' on hold!' he thought and skidded along the pathway towards his bond and kids.

Four howling little scamps come barrelling down the paths of the Darklands, following their Papi's call, the fifth hanging tightly to her big brother's horn nubs.

"Father!" the four older whelps call, "Papi!"

Bronte reaches them first, huffing and puffing as his siblings scramble behind him. "What's--happening? Why'd Papi--use his--home bellow?"

Gunmar very nearly tramples his own whelps.

"To me! Quickly!" He lowered his horns, pressing his brow to the ground so that the children could scamper onto his back. He didn't see Bonley anywhere, but that didn't stop him from turning and barrelling toward the portal.

He would throw them, if it started to close before he made it through he would throw them and WILL them to make it to the other side---

The portal did not close.

Kobolds & Catacombs added to Priest’s arsenal in all forms, as Raza Priest and Big Priest decks each gained new tools.

Another robust option for Priests--since they so badly needed another, right?--is the “Big Spell” deck which uses the new Spiteful Summoner to unfair effect. Unfair effects comprise a lot of the deck, in fact: here are Prince Keleseth, Patches the Pirate, Bonemare and other neutral powerhouses we’ve jammed into decks all year long.

PATCHES, RAZA, BONEMARE, AND CORRIDOR CREEPER HAVE ALL BEEN NERFED!

RIP Corridor Creeper, who is now a 2/5, which probably isn’t worth it now

Raza got hit hard, but I think it may still be used, as it now reduces the hero power cost to 1. Still big nerf for Raza Priest, and definitely a card I would have nerfed

Bonemare at 8 mana is still strong, but I don’t think it’s top tier now

Patches will still be played, but it will have a much minor impact on the board thanks to the removal of charge

For my next card entry, it was going to be Alexstraza (because I love her to death), but i was having a bit of trouble finding a good gold card for her, so maybe later. For now though! Let’s talk about Bonemare. Bonemare is a neutral card you can get from the Frozen Throne packs and its cheap to make if you have some dust to waste. I was lucky enough to get it dropped. I have this card in about all of my decks. I know many people cry for it to be nerfed and blah blah but honestly I love it the way it is. I’m probably being biased because it saved my ass on multiple occasions but who cares. It’s one of the best cards of the frozen throne expansion. 

On a side note... playing against people who use more than one of these in their deck? Absolutely horrid. Though if you main a priest, mage, or possibly shaman, they aren’t that bad. Since all those classes tend to have spells and what not that can deal with high cards.
