Hello hello!

I was wondering if you write for any of the BOM members.

If so can I get angst to fluff, Kolivan and Ulaz (separately) with a medic s/o who is a member of team voltron and they get poisoned?

If not, then Shiro, keith, and lance with the same scenario.

I do believe at this point only God knows when this ask was sent in, I'm like really bad at answering reqs in a timely manner but I think everyones aware of this at this point.

I absolutely LOVED this plot idea and may or may not be writing additional parts for the Paladins as well lol

For as long as you could remember, you had always wanted to be a doctor. Your dream was to help people. You'd joined the Garrison Space Program in hopes of getting the opportunity to further your knowledge in multiple areas of medicine, quickly working your way into position of field medic.

Getting the chance to actually go to space had never been in your plans, you liked having your feet on the ground, where you could be more useful. But signing up for the Garrison didn't leave you with much choice in such matters.

The mission was supposed to be straight forward and to the point, you were hardly even needed. The people in charge wanted you there for the soul purpose of logging the members vitals. Collect scientific data so that the Garrison can use it for their next generation of space suits.

You had only wished it'd been that simple.

It was difficult to tell time in space. Your easiest guesses had been the rotation of meals and when you and the other prisoners were let out to fight in the gladiator pits. You loathed the days you were meant to fight and mostly kept to yourself in order to attend to wounded prisoners best you could.

When Shiro had told you he was busting out, you hadn't even hesitated in packing up any medical scraps you had left and leaving them with your apprentice of sorts. Promising to return to free the rest of the prisoners. Neither of you wanted to leave them there, but getting both of you out would be hard enough.

Getting back to Earth proved far easier than you'd anticipated with the Galran technology. You'd tried to attend to Shiro's arm best you could while he piloted the two of you home.

Home. You honestly thought you'd never see it again.

The landing was, rough. But you'd survived, and then you'd been treated as if you were a threat. Saved by a bunch of cadets before you could be transported back to the Garrison, where you probably wouldn't have seen the light of day for a good while.

Thinking back on those early days, how you'd come to be with the Paladins of Voltron in the Castle of Lions, was almost nostalgic despite not having been so long ago.

Kolivan

Organizing some of your equipment, you tried to busy yourself to not think of the mission they were on. Trying not to get too concerned for the team you'd come to think of as your family. Trying not to think of the one you'd come to love.

Before you could spiral into worst case scenarios, the door to your clinic burst open, Keith holding it open while Antok carried an unconcious Kolivan through the threshold, gently placing him on your table.

You were in full doctor mode before he was down, already gathering up various tools to check his vitals.

"What's the situation?" You asked to no one in particular.

"I think he's been poisoned. He was grazed and just collapsed not long after."

“Are you hurt?” A quick scan told you Keith was relatively unharmed.

“No, it’s just Kolivan.”

Cursing under your breath, you started searching for the wound, making quick work of cleaning it and patching it up after pulling a blood sample from it.

"Get this to Pidge, tell her to run it with every type of poison we have, I need to know what was on that blade." Keith was out of the room before you couldn't even finish.

You prepped every antidote you had or could make, waiting to hear back from Pidge.

Satisfied with your preparation, you turned all your focus and energy to Antok, checking him over for injuries and checking his vitals until he huffed out an “I’m fine.” taking up position by the door and watching you as you began to pace, no more concerns left to keep your mind busy from your bedridden lover.

"Y/n."

Kolivan's voice was hoarse, but very much real. You felt tears spring to your eyes as you turned to look at him.

"I'm okay." He tried to sit up, stopping only due to your hand on his shoulder, pushing him back down on to the bed.

"Okay or not you're going to stay put until I say otherwise."

It wasn't much longer before Keith returned with the type of poison, and you had the antidote administered.

You watched as even Antok seemed to relax, he and Keith both leaving the infirmary to give you some space.

Kolivan watched in silence as you cleaned up your area, carefully stashing away every antidote for every poison you've ever come across or even just read about.

"I'm okay, my love." He says again.

"I know, but you're only okay because I know what I'm doing. You could have died today." You tried to keep the tears threatening to break at bay.

"But I didn't because you know what you're doing. I have nothing to fear if I have you."

You scoffed a laugh, glaring at him over your shoulder.

He just shrugged, holding open his arms for you. Crawling up onto the bed, you snuggled into his chest.

"The mission always comes first." He whispered, a reminder of the life you'd signed up for and willingly walked into the day you'd fallen for him.

"And I'm not saying it shouldn't, just that you don't have to be so reckless with your health."

"I am not reckless."

The pointed glare you shot him made him chuckle, holding you tighter.

"I'll always come back to you safe, my love."

"Safe enough at least." You grumbled, curling tighter around him, causing him to flinch slightly from pressure on his wound, and hold you tighter against him to keep you from pulling away because of it.

Ulaz

You didn’t often find yourself actually in the thick of battle unless the Castle was, but even then there was a level of safety.

Finding yourself actually on a Galra cruiser was not common for you. At least not since you escaped your prison. But you’d sworn you’d be back for the ones you left behind, and after plenty of arguing back and forth, you found yourself tagging along with the paladins to do just that.

Moving about the ship to find your way to the cells felt like second nature, you and Shiro leading the way. The operation was going smoothly up until you passed the hall you wished you could forget.

Ulaz had lived on that hall. Forth door on the left, knock twice, wait, knock twice again. It was ingrained in you, just as the safest path to it was.

You'd tried not to think of Ulaz or your time together on the ship, it was easier not to than to ponder what might've become of him. Had he been made? Would the other Blade's have gotten him out if he had? Was he even still alive?

Time wasn't a commodity you had as you found yourself in the cells, already wrapping up any wounds that needed immediate care and taking note of what could be done once back on the ship.

You'd been far too focused on assisting the wounded, you'd forgotten the dangers of mission and the fact that could easily turn into a battle.

The prisoner you were helping screamed just a moment too late and you felt searing pain as a blade made contact with your arm. You hardly had time to look at your attacker before all you saw was the back of a Galra soldier.

Breathing a weary sigh of relief, you finished your work and urged the prisoner to follow the others, before taking a quick assessment of your wound and the room around you, smiling when Ulaz dropped to his knees beside you.

"What can I do to help?" He asked earnestly, checking your wound himself.

"I think there was poison on the blade, so if I fall unconscious, get Pidge, the Green Paladin, to run a test to figure out what type, I should have the antidote-"

"Get away from them!" Ulaz grunted as he blocked Keith's attack.

"No, stop. He's not hurting me."

The Paladin's all looked at you like you were insane. "He's Galra, Y/n." Hunk stated incredulously. "You're literally bleeding."

"And he dispatched the one that made me bleed. Look I'll explain on the ship, but lets get these prisoners to safety."

Lance moved to pick you up, but Ulaz tightening his grip and standing effortlessly with you stopped him.

"Lead the way, Paladin." He said gruffly.

Somewhere between the holding cells and the lions, you lost consciousness entirely. Comforted by Ulaz’s presence and the knowledge you’d be safe as long as he had you.

“We’re just going to let him stay here? What if he’s leading them right to us?”

“He hasn’t left Y/n’s side for longer than it takes to go to the bathroom, does that really seem like someone who’d compromise them?”

“He’s Galra Keith.”

“And when have the Galra ever not been completely forthcoming with exactly how they feel about us? Face it Lance, even the Galra have emotions and aren’t all bad.”

“But he was on a Galra fleet cruiser, that’s not exactly a green flag.”

“Y/n trusts him, so we at least need to hear them out.”

“Do they always talk this much?” Ulaz whispered.

You chuckled, followed by a coughing fit. Cracking open your eyes and squinting against the bright lights of your infirmary. 

“This is mild for them.” Your voice was hoarse from lack of use. “You get used to it though.”

“Y/n!” Lance screeched, rushing to your side, shoving Ulaz away from you to check you over. “Keith, go get the others! Y/n how are you feeling? Do you need anything? What can I do to-” 

You reached your hand up, covering his mouth. “Dim the lights, they’re gonna give me a headache. And don’t shove the love of my life away from me again or I swear I’ll leave all your healing to those ten thousand year old pods. Understood?”

His eyes widened in shock, looking between you, to Ulaz, and back again.

“Love of your life?” The muffled question felt just as incredulous as it was probably supposed to sound. Pinning him with what he dubbed the ‘Mom Eyes’ he quickly moved to dim the lights. 

Ulaz returned to his spot beside you, gently pulling your hand up to his lips and kissing the back of it gently.

The other Paladins joined you, each taking turns to fill in the blanks of while you were out. Pidge informed you of the type of poison on the blade and how shocked she was that you actually had the antidote. Hunk mentioned the few survivors that have refused any type of healing, holding out for you to check them over. Finally, it was Allura that demanded to know why in the universe you thought bringing a Galra on board was a good idea. You just shrugged and shared a look with Ulaz. 

“Because we’re married.”

The room filled with various amounts of confused faces, indignant squawks –yes, squawks– and a barrage of questions sounding over top others. Your voice couldn’t be heard even if you tried to answer any of them.

Ulaz brought the room to silence with a laugh, an honest to goodness full belly laugh unlike one you’d ever imagined getting from him. He looked at you fondly, kissing the back of your hand once more before turning to your team.

He filled them in on how you’d met while you were imprisoned, how you’d come to fall in love, the ceremony of a wedding the two of you had completely alone in his quarters, and finally of how he was instrumental in yours and Shiro’s escape. He told them that neither of you had ever expected to meet again after that. War wasn’t kind on anyone, but especially not on lovers. 

When he’d been notified that there was an escape attempt happening at the cells you had been held in, he left his post to go check it out. 

“Knowing Y/n, I almost expected their return for the captives. I needed to know they were safe if it was them. I truly mean all of you no harm. I just wanted to make sure my Y/n was safe.”

“What made you break away from the Galra in the first place? It’s cool you’re in love with our Doc, but you’re still Galra, no offence.”

“I was never truly affiliated with the Galra Empire. Much like you, I seek to bring it down. I was working on the inside as a spy when I met Y/n. I am just glad they are mostly safe now. Thank you Paladins, for caring for them while I couldn’t.”

não sei se isso condiz muito com a realidade mas nossa, pensando aqui num enzo que gosta de BANCAR. que tem ORGULHO de olhar pra mulher dele e vê-la vestida da cabeça aos pés nas roupas e acessórios da melhor qualidade que ELE deu pra ela, que adora enchê-la de presentes... 💭

ele é total a favor da sua independência financeira caso vc queira, agora caso não queira... vai trabalhar sempre tendo em mente vc 🫵🏼 juro, acho que ele sente até um senso de motivação a mais sabendo que ele tá trabalhando pra te dar a vida de mimos que vc merece. ele te dá acesso a todas as contas bancárias e todos os cartões dele (e ainda dá um especial pra vc, se possível personalizado ou black 😶‍🌫️), fala pra vc usar como e quando quiser e, apesar de às vezes olhar a fatura do banco, suspirar e falar "olha o estrago que vc tá fazendo na minha vida, nena", ele adora!!!! ver que vc tá usando como se fosse teu mesmo (até pq na cabeça dele tudo que é dele é teu, então é mesmo)

e mesmo sabendo que vc pode muito bem usar o dinheiro dele pra comprar o que vc quiser, ele ainda AMA de paixão te presentear. aniversários, datas comemorativas, até em dias que aparentemente não têm nada de especial ele chega com um mimo pra vc, seja aqueles buquês gigantes de rosas vermelhas (ele é fã desses), jóias caras ou roupas de grife (é defensor de que vc merece apenas do melhor) ou coisas menos caras mas mais focadas num valor sentimental, como um disco que contém a música de vcs, um quadro da sua paisagem favorita que viram na lua de mel e muitas vezes até se aventura com coisas diferentes, como a vez que ele te deu uma caixa de sabonetes artesanais que ele mesmo fez, todos com fragrâncias que o lembram de vc. ele é muito fã mesmo de presentes que vêm do coração tbm e ele presta atenção, viu? muita mesmo, em todos os seus detalhes. cada presente dele parece que ele deu uma lida completa na sua alma

e como ele não é bobo nem nada, às vezes ele gosta de receber um agradinho em troca também, né? quando vc compra alguma coisa que ele julga ser exorbitantemente cara ou quando vc gasta mais com os outros do que consigo mesma (tipo a vez que vc jurava que sua amiga tava precisando muito de ajuda e a ajuda foi tipo, gastaram mais de mil reais num restaurante pq ela tava triste e vc achava que ela precisava sair de casa). aí ele vai dar uma risadinha soprada pelo nariz, balançar a cabeça, falar que vc não tem jeito mesmo, né? é incorrigível, tá toda mimadinha já pela forma como ele te trata como rainha... talvez vc precise fazer por merecer um pouquinho agora, sabe? pq seu homem precisa de um agrado também... e vc obviamente mais do que concorda, já se ajoelhando no chão em frente a ele mal ele termina de dizer as palavras (mas é tudo leve e uma brincadeira acordada entre vcs gente pelo amor de deus jamais acho que ele faria isso tipo real ☠️ é só pelo conceito da fic)

também ADORA investir em vc em outras áreas e gosta de acompanhar os resultados e te incentivar. ele tá pagando um curso pra vc? nossa, vc é tão inteligente... que tal dar uma aulinha demonstrativa pra ele? ele comprou livro de receitas, aparelhos novos pra cozinha e te deixou livre pra gastar e pegar o que quiser no mercado? vai ficar todo caidinho de amores quando a primeira vez que vc tenta algo já transforma em um jantar romântico pros dois como forma de agradecimento a ele. ele te pagou uma viagem pra fazer sozinha pq confia muito em vc e acha que vc merece relaxar, mesmo que ele mesmo não consiga te acompanhar por causa do trabalho? te pede fotos, vídeos e atualizações a cada hora do dia pra ver seu sorriso e vc se divertindo. ele paga seu crossfit, seu yoga, seu pilates que vc faz bem madame de dia de semana às 3 da tarde? poxa, dá uma voltinha pra ele quando sair do banho pra ele ir acompanhando seu progresso também... 👁️👁️

agora se tem uma coisa que derrete o coração dele e o desarma de qualquer coisa na hora é quando vc usa o dinheiro dele pra mimar ele. ele fala e fala e fala que não precisa se preocupar com ele, tudo que ele quer ele já tem (lê-se: você) e o que mais ele precisar ele mesmo arruma, é um cara simples, não precisa de muita coisa. gosta de gastar com vc justamente pq recebe mais dinheiro do que consegue ele mesmo gastar. mas sempre que percebe que mesmo assim vc insiste em presenteá-lo regularmente, também presta atenção em todos os gostos dele e todos os comentários que ele faz sobre o que gostaria, mesmo que por cima, e depois aparece com algo personalizado e sob medida pra ele... mulher, ele fica com um sorriso bobo no rosto o resto da semana, coloca a mãozinha de lei no peito sinalizando o quanto ele tá tocado e, claro, te recompensa mais ainda da forma que vc desejar 😇

bônus: é fã número 1 de te levar em eventos importantes e red carpets e acredita fielmente que vc é a pessoa mais linda, gostosa, bem vestida, inteligente e interessante de todo o evento e vai falar pra todo mundo isso e vai te fazer se sentir bem assim mesmo. amamos enzo maridinho que é praticamente um sugar daddy 💘💝💖💗💓💞💕

I started watching "True Blood" on Hulu

The first season I was like WTF is going on? WTF am I watching?

Then I was like oh now it's getting really good and I looked back to see where I felt it went good and I was like oh season 2 lol.

I have fallen in love with the Eric Northman character.

I wasn't sure I was gonna like this show or have a character I really liked but Eric grew on me and I really like him.

I've been reading all the fanfiction I can find on him! I read over 600 things in day this past week tumblr gave me a badge for it lol.

I just don't know if I can wrote for him he's just so new and I love him to much at the moment.

But would anyone be interested if I wrote for him?

What about for Godric? Loved him to.

~ Because of that, he grew up with mommy issues

~ Kolivan grew up without the gentle love of a mother, and even though he had a great relationship with his father he always felt that something was missing in his life

~ You almost immediately know what's going on in this man's life as soon as you meet him and you take on the motherly role he never had growing up

~ Within a few months of his friendship with you Kolivan slowly becomes less cold and stoic

~ Sendak had both of his parents around during his childhood, but his mother was always dismissive towards him

~ Sendak secretly has self image issues and he's never sure how to treat women; he feels betrayed by his mother no matter how old he gets

~ Of course, that changes after he meets you

~ You treat him far better than his mother ever did and you're just so motherly,

~ After Sendak pours his heart out to you, you work on being the mother he deserves

~ With time, Sendak feels more complete and he's not as aggressive; he also treats you like a queen

~ Each time you tell Sendak he's a good boy, he shows his appreciation for you by giving you a hug while purring deeply

~ Narti never really knew her parents because they abandoned her at an orphanage shortly after she was born

~ As you can imagine it caused some issues for her, especially mommy issues

~ She's secretly very anxious all the time until she meets you

~ You have a motherly aura and she's immediately drawn to you

~ For Narti, it feels as though she found a missing part of her life

~ She tries her best to be the best official unofficial daughter you could have ever asked for

~ And if you ever call her a good girl? Narti feels as though her life is truly complete

~ Lotor never really knew who his mother was when he was a child and it created some issues; mommy issues, mainly

~ He refuses to believe that Haggar is his mother even though she is, for him it's just easier to deny that fact

~ However, when Lotor gets to know you better he realizes how mother-like you can be sometimes

~ He treats you like a Goddess and he would never, ever do anything you wouldn't approve of

~ You think he's sweet and look out for him as much as you can

~ Whenever you call Lotor a good boy he finally feels truly loved

The beginning of a battle of love

Rottmnt four kings au x reader

There are four kingdoms in the land the

First mushroom kingdom in the east that was nice and calm and colorful that had the toads as there people. As they had a not of hold and the rulers castle was on the highest hill of the land for all to see.

There king well not really king since he called himself the prince instead of a king. There ruler Leo although was nice to the kingdoms even if there tule didn’t go to the importante meets or anything that was urgent.

Second in the north what the Koop kingdom that was known for there volcanic lands and many hot environments. That had koopas and gumbas as there people.

With militant lava lakes and rives and well and a castle have of stone and iron that was many in the ground but was also able to be mobile as well if wanted to be.

This kingdom was manly known for there battle and grate fighting army as well as defense, and a good king to go along with it.

The kingdom of the topas had there king Raph that looks to be very mean and scary at first glance.

With his spikes she’ll that poked throw his cape and scarp claw as and horns. Plus with how big he was also intimidated many. But Raph was a good king and a nice one at that even with his looks. Self training the army making the kingdom stronger and re building homes and places free of charge after a battle. He also unknown to many has a few fundraiser for children and orphanages in his kingdom.

Next in the West was the boos kingdom where all the boo’s and other ghostly creatures are. This kingdom always had a more 1900’s haunting house feel to it. But as well had a a constant climate of rain and thunderstorms.

The kingdom as well was many surrounded by a a big forest.That was almost dead looking giving more to that Victoria hunted ascetic.the homes were many mansions apartments had very few houses and hotels to stay in.

This kingdom had the castle of the king very deep into the forest, where it was very hard to find if he did try to go on foot m. If you weren’t part of the royal army, or someone sent specifically to the king, it would be a very hard chance for you to find it.

The castle looked more like a manner, but with this tall towers in some corners in a very distinguished look it did look like a very Victoria castle. 

The king Donnie or rather Donatello as other officially call him. Was very proper and full the them with his kingdom. With his lavish suit and we’ll as crown.

We was a very good king knew about politics, economy, and society. Although may not seem to many of his tracks, since he was rather cold to everyone, he does very much care about his kingdom, and as well as the most technical advanced kingdom of them all.



Lastly was the boom kingdom in the south in the middle of the desert. Although to many it way not seem like the best place for a kingdom but this kingdom was in a oasis areas that were semi close to each other.

The kingdom had brick walls to protect the areas from the sandstorms and others weather that passes by. Most of the people that live here were boomb’s that came in different sizes. There kings castle was like a Egyptian pyramid, or a Sandcastle mix.

The king on the surface seems so nice and cheery. They always had a smile on your face and as well always nice to the king another people even outside of the kingdom.

But do be warned under there kind face there were a literally a time boom of there pásense and kindnesses until they snapped and let out all there rage in a literal explosion.

There king Mikey was very artistic that not only was in painting and drawing. He also was in sculpture, culinary and pottery and many more things.

This king was the nicest out of them all but just like the phrase . This kings kindness is not a weakness or anything to take advantage off.

What happens when a human enters into this world through a old server pipe she found one day in a forest close to her home. As she wonders around from kingdom to kingdom making the kings of these kingdoms to fall for her. As looks for a way to get back to her world or to find what to do in this new home of hers?

so I hope you all like this. And I made this after rewatching The Super Mario Bros. Movie again while babysitting my cousins. I still can’t believe I made this whole thing in less than a hour after rewatching the movie.

WARNINGS : Reader swears once, Floyd slander, not proof read even once

NOTE FROM THE POST OFFICE : this genuinely came to me in a dream the first night i started new meds and it made me wake up in a panic at four in the morning and wrote down some key pieces of dialogue and then i knocked out for another six hours

You were going to blame Ace for this whole mess. If it wasn't for him forcing the rest of you first-years to play Truth or Dare, none of this would have happened. Sure, maybe you could have turned down the dare but that would be a massive hit to your ego. But as you sat in front of Riddle on the train on the way home, you couldn't help but feel the anxiety start to settle in.

All of this could horribly backfire on you, and was a hit to your ego really worth a loss of dignity? You could back out at the expense of your ego, but you'd still have your dignity, if you went through with the dare, your ego would be fine but your dignity and possibly your relationship with your brother would be at stake.

Just as you were about to message Ace privately to call off the dare, Ace messaged you first, and in the first-year group chat. You'd definitely be teased if you called off the dare in front of the other first years.

You read over the message again, and then again, and again. You could nearly hear his irritating voice asking, "Are you about to chicken out, (Name)?" Him and his infuriating, teasing voice.

You sighed and pressed record, "Hey, Riddle?"

Riddle glanced up at you from his book, and raised an eyebrow, "Hm? Everything alright?"

You lightly scratched over your eyebrow, a nervous tic you had picked up as a child that you still did now, years later, "Yeah, it's just that, I think I like someone."

He blinked owlishly, "Oh," He looked like he wanted to say something else. After what felt like a minute of silence (that was only really like twenty seconds), he spoke again, "Okay. Is it one of the first years?"

"Ah, no. Um-" You were going to fucking murder Ace, "It's Floyd actually."

Riddle stuttered something before taking a deep breath and trying again, "Like, Floyd... The Leech one?"

You nodded and watch as your older brother visibly deflated and slapped one of his hands on his forehead. He looked at you, "Are you serious?" You smiled awkwardly and nodded. "By the great seven..."

You send the video to the first-year group chat before pressing record again. It's silent for a moment and you watch as Riddle slowly turns red. He looks at the passing scenery and then back to you, "Floyd?" You nodded and he let out a shaky sigh, "Why?"

You couldn't think of a single positive trait that Floyd has, "Well, he's like... charming and-"

"He's not." Riddle repeated the two words while shaking his head, "He's really not."

"In his own way-!"

"Still no, (Name)." He was trying really hard to control his anger if the twitching eyebrow and the colour of his face were anything to go by.

You stop recording as Riddle stops talking. You send the second video to the group chat and read through the reactions.

Ace was in disbelief at the fact that you actually did it which you thought was odd as he was the one that had dared you. Epel and Deuce were losing their minds, one commending you for what you did and the other telling you you were stupid.

Neither Jack nor Sebek reacted to the first video but reacted to you calling Floyd charming. Jack said that calling Floyd charming was like calling Leona productive, while Sebek called you the stupidest human ever.

Yuu still hadn't reacted, much to your grave disappointment.

You snap a discreet photo of Riddle who looked like he was in mourning. His elbows were on his knees, and his face was buried deep in his hands, looking off into space with a haunted expression on his face.

He looked like that one picture of the guy on the chair that the Ignihyde Prefect liked to use as a reaction image.

You press record again and nudge Riddle's leg with your own foot, "You okay?"

He started grumbling to himself, "It could be so much worse. It could be-" He looked deep in thought before shaking his head quickly, "No, it really could not be worse. Floyd Leech of all people..."

Suddenly he straightened up, eyes blazing with renewed vigour, "(Name), I genuinely hear people talk about how beautiful you are all the time," Well, that was news to you, "Do you know how constantly uncomfortable I am because I hear how 'handsome', and 'cute' you are all the time. You could probably get anyone in our entire school, and you choose him?"

"Well, I didn't really choose him..." You grumbled out. It was true, you hadn't been the one to choose which guy you were going to have a fictional crush on, Ace did that.

He sunk into himself and placed a hand on his chin. You giggled, "Well, he's not that bad. I think you're overreacting!" You watched as the anger returned to him, but maybe he had finally started learning to regulate his emotions because all that came out was a disappointed and strangled calling of your name.

Perhaps he was tired of arguing about it. You stopped recording and sent the video to the group chat. The video was met with as much glee as the previous one had.

The conversation in the group chat eventually drifted from you and Riddle to the plans that the others had for winter break. Occasionally you would steal glances at Riddle who hadn't moved in nearly fifteen minutes. He was sitting with a hand covering his mouth, book forgotten on his lap, and tears in his eyes. You took a photo and sent it to the group chat, the first message being from Sebek remarking that 'it was pathetic watching housewarden Rosehearts go through the five stages of grief.'

As the train pulls into the train station Riddle sighs, "(Name)." he looks at you, "You can do so much better than Floyd."

You purses your lips and nodded. Obviously, you knew that, you didn't even have a crush on the guy, you were just doing this for a dare.

"But, I trust your judgement, and if he makes you genuinely happy, I say you," He stopped talking and sighed, as if it was tough for him to even say, "I say you should go for it. I won't tell mother because I know how she can get when it comes to other people."

Oh. That was... very sweet of him. He obviously didn't like Floyd and neither did you really, but the fact that he was willing to set his own feelings aside because of your potential interest in someone was kind of him.

And you hadn't even thought about how your mother might have reacted if she found out you had a crush on someone she hadn't approved yet. Especially if she invited Floyd over and found out that he was like... That.

"Thank you, Riddle." Perhaps you would save the explanation of the dare for the last day of winter break. That way, the anger and humiliation he felt would be fresh and he might just punish Ace the first day back. That would be delightful.

(Y/n) was just the average Marmoran operative; she was trained by Krolia and Antok made her an official member after her trials because Kolivan had been away at the time, so Kolivan had never seen her face before. She'd been out on missions with Kolivan many times and over time she developed a little crush on her leader, unfortunately as far as she was aware he wasn't interested in a romantic relationship with anyone. The only people who knew about her crush on Kolivan were her close friends and Ulaz; Ulaz had a knack for knowing when someone was in love with someone else, even when they never actually told him. (Y/n) did her best to prove herself to Kolivan by taking only the most dangerous missions when they came up and she was successful with all of them, luckily the worst that happened to her during one mission in particular was that she almost lost her left arm.

Kolivan was aware of who (Y/n) was despite having never seen her face and he was very impressed by her success rate; he would eventually like to personally meet her on a more casual level. When he, Antok and (Y/n) went with Allura to galra central command it was (Y/n) who saved Antok’s life, putting herself in danger so that he wouldn't be killed. It was then that Kolivan made up his mind that he wanted to meet (Y/n) face to face as soon as they had time. After the battle at central command, Antok, (Y/n) and Thace had to stay in three of the castle's healing pods, although since (Y/n) wasn't too badly injured she was only asleep for about a day. Kolivan and Ulaz remained at the castle, waiting for their comrades to finish healing; right before (Y/n) was deemed healed Kolivan was in the lounge with the paladins.

“Wait, so you've never even seen (Y/n's) face? And you like her?” Lance asked Kolivan after he explained how he knew the young galran woman, dumbfounded that the Marmoran leader liked someone despite never actually seeing her face before.

“I never said that I held affection for her.” Kolivan corrected the blue paladin, feeling a little flustered.

“You didn't have to, I can tell when someone really likes someone else. That's why they call me the doctor of love.” Lance responded, bragging about his special gift.

“Lance, no one calls you that.” Keith responded flatly, hoping that Kolivan wouldn't take Lance seriously.

Lance gawked at Keith, immediately getting into an argument with the slightly older boy who always had to ruin his fun. Keith didn't see it as ruining Lance's fun, he just preferred to be realistic. Kolivan couldn't believe that mere children were able to fight in a ten-thousand year war and have some degree of success; Shiro had originally whipped them into shape, but without him around then Kolivan feared that team Voltron would fall apart. In the meantime, (Y/n) had come out of the healing pod she'd been staying in and Ulaz decided to go get Kolivan after he gave her a check-up just to make sure she was alright. Keith and Lance stopped arguing when Ulaz entered the lounge, listening as he told Kolivan that (Y/n) was ready.

“Go get her!” Lance said as he cheered Kolivan on, hoping that the older man would finally meet the woman of his dreams.

“Lance!” The other three paladins chided their friend in sync, each of them feeling a little embarrassed from the way he acted around Kolivan.

Kolivan wasn't expecting Lance to cheer him on when he didn't even have romantic tendencies towards (Y/n), he viewed her as his subordinate and nothing more because they were at war and there was no time for romance. Subconsciously he'd taken a slight interest in her, but consciously he'd convinced himself that he didn't see (Y/n) as a potential romantic partner. On the way to the infirmary Ulaz could tell that his leader was anxious and a little excited, and after talking to (Y/n) he knew she was really excited to finally have a little one-on-one time with Kolivan. When they arrived at their destination Ulaz left so he could give them some privacy, knowing that everything would go well between his friend and his leader. As soon as the door slid open and Kolivan saw (Y/n's) face he was awestruck; he just stood there for a moment, taking in her beauty while she looked at him with confusion, he wasn't expecting one of his most talented operatives to look so beautiful.

“You must be (Y/n).” Kolivan managed to choke out, feeling dizzy and lightheaded as he walked over to her; he felt embarrassed for not being able to speak clearly, it was the first time it happened and he wasn't sure how to handle being in the presence of such a fine young woman.

“That's me. Leader, are you feeling alright?” (Y/n) answered professionally prior to voicing her concern for him; she never thought that she would see the day when Kolivan got flustered, she thought it was really cute.

Before he saw (Y/n) without her mask Kolivan convinced himself that he could never fall in love with her, that changed as soon as he saw her without the hood and the mask of her uniform in the way. All he could do was stand there with his mouth slightly agape, staring at her face; if he was in one of those memes Regris had shown him, then he was sure that there would have been tiny beating hearts all around him. (Y/n) was a patient woman and she knew that Kolivan needed a moment to regain his composure; she didn't necessarily believe she was beautiful, but after breathing in his pheromones she could easily tell that he really liked what he saw.

“I just wanted to tell you that you did well yesterday, not everyone would save their superior in such a dangerous situation.” Kolivan said once his brain started working again, feeling the need to say something.

“I had to, he's one of us. Now that we have some time to recover from the mission, I would like to sit next to you during dinner this evening, if that's alright with you.” (Y/n) responded shyly, hoping to finally get to know her leader better, perhaps on a more personal level if he were to allow it.

“I would like that very much. But if you'll temporarily pardon me, I have something important to go discuss with Ulaz. I look forward to seeing you later.” Kolivan said before he excused himself, briefly smiling at (Y/n) on his way out of the infirmary.

(Y/n) reciprocated the smile and felt giddy; she assumed that he wanted to discuss Antok and Thace's health with Ulaz, although she felt giddy about sitting next to him at dinner. Since she felt better she decided to go to her temporary bedroom so that she could rest and get herself ready; there were a few hours left before dinner, and the young woman decided to wash up before dinnertime. While (Y/n) got herself ready for dinner, Kolivan went to go talk to Ulaz who was a known hopeless romantic, if anyone could give him love advice then it would be Ulaz. Just thinking about (Y/n) made him feel nervous because he'd never truly been in love before, but he wanted to get to know her better and with the possibility of a safer universe he was ready to open himself up to her and give love a chance. Until dinnertime, he and (Y/n) would get themselves ready for what would be the start to the rest of their lives together.
