If you suggest holding hands he would probably accept it but you could always feel his hand sweating a bit

Tsukishima isn't the type of guy who would suggest cuddling but if you want to cuddle with him, he wouldn't mind

bokuto kisses you as if he wants to suck your soul out through your tongue. he wants to be as close to you as possible, pulling you into his lap and pressing you into him. he whines desperately against your lips, especially when you tangle your fingers in his hair. his kisses are desperate and sloppy, and his favorite time to kiss you is when you get home after a long day. sometimes he'll get so worked up while kissing you that he has to move the kisses down to your neck and whimper against your skin. he's like a puppy, never let him go.

ushijima's kisses are soft. he's a big guy, he doesn't want to hurt his partner by accident. he loves leaving gentle kisses along your jaw, smiling against your skin when he hears you sigh. being so soft doesn't usually last too long however. despite ushijima being delicate, he ends up getting riled up by just being near you. hot breath against your skin as he mumbles how much he loves you and that you're his and his only. ushijima wakatoshi may be stoic and unassuming to an untrained eye, but the scattered hickeys and bites underneath your shirt say otherwise.

hinata. an unstoppable force who knows what he wants. after coming home from brazil, he hasn't seen you in what felt like forever. he's immediately on top of you, already hard against your thigh. he's playful but possessive. he knows that you've seen all the girls flocking to him on tv, so he wants to remind you that you're the only one that he wants. his kisses leave you breathless. it's as if he sucks the air right out of your lungs and into his own. everything about him is energetic and nearly heart-stopping, including his kisses.

tanaka is one of those guys to worship the ground you walk on. his lips are on you pretty much all the time whenever you aren't doing something important. he loves playful kisses that make the two of you laugh against each other. he'll tickle your sides just to make you squeal and then shut you up with a kiss, laughing himself. if you're ever having a bad day, he'll pepper kisses all over your face, going 'mwah! mwah!' until you're smiling again. he lives to see your smile, and being the cause of it makes his heart flutter.

tsukishima's kisses are teasing, no doubt. he'll just barely ghost his lips against yours, smirking as you whine from lack of contact. he loves making you work for those kisses, and it makes the moments when he kisses you roughly even more shocking. he loves pulling your hair when kissing you, chuckling against your lips as you gasp. like many others, he'll feel the need to mark you. except he has no shame. he marks you where everyone can see. he wants people to know who you belong to him.

things they notice about you || misc. headcannons

Note: idk why but all my headcannons are haikuu but anyways

Sakusa notices when you buy drinks, specifically ones that need straws, like from a coffee stand, that you always take the wrapper off except for the very top part, as if you are being cautious that he might not want you to touch where he’ll be drinking from.

Atsumu notices when you cry, your eyelashes look so beautiful as they frame your eyes, and the warmth in your cheeks seems to fade hours later when you’re feeling better. He notices your sniffles, and how hard you try to cover them up, turning your face away as if you’re looking for something.

Iwazumi notices that when you cant keep still, you always find something to fiddle with. You especially seem to find a pen or pencil, and twirl it through your fingers. He notices the furrow in your brows every so often when the writing utensil falls from your hands and you try again.

Daichi notices that you hardly ever untie your shoes. By now your shoes are a little beat up, not entirely covered in dirt but enough to make the colors seem a little dull. The backs have scuff marks from all the times that you’ve slipped them off instead of trying to fumble with the laces.

Ushijima notices when you’re getting mad, how you take a deep breath in, chest rising with the action. How you tend to squeeze your eyes shut for a moment, before releasing the air, trying to clear your mind and shoo away the emotions. He notices when you purse your lips and clench your jaw, holding back what could be a scorching remark.

Bokuto notices that when you’re happy, you always start with a smaller smile, and your eyes get soft. You never seem to know what to do with your hands, unless you’re taking his own hands and intertwining your fingers together, or throwing your arms around him for a hug.

Kuroo notices when your social battery starts to run low, how you always seem to find a way to distract yourself. Playing on your phone, spacing off and staring at something small. You tend to bring yourself back to reality, bringing your eyes to his and give a silent plea, asking to be taken home, but you never want to say it out loud, and risk hurting anyone else’s feelings.

Aone notices that when you first wake up in the mornings, your eyes open halfway, and you have to blink a few times. You always roll over into your side to look at him, before slowly sitting up, stifling a large yawn. You never seem able to form words in the mornings, and instead choose to sit silently as you process the unfortunate news that is waking up.

Kuroo:

He actually doesn’t cuddle you in your sleep. Controversial, I know but given his sleeping position, he just can’t. 

To every rule there is an exception: He will cuddle you til you fall asleep. After you’re asleep, he removes his arms from you.

You stay pressed to his side and he enjoys you being there

You almost always fall asleep before you. But you always wake up before him.

You peer your eye over the edge of the blanket, smile hidden as you admire his squished face he has in between pillows

Bokuto:

Surprisingly a good dancer. True he gets a little excited and spins you a little too much but he has great rhythm and timing

Dances in public. There is so many videos of him and you that were trending do to his volleyball fame

Dances in the kitchen, til you complain that the food might burn.

no matter you cook for this man, he sees it a a five Michelin star meal

If he thinks really hard, he can almost taste the very first meal you cooked him.

You bring him hearty snacks when he’s gaming.

Has asked you to feed it to him so he can continue gaming. (you said no)

He jokes you’re a healer with your food. Stamina +10, Sadness -25

You sneak vegetables into every dish

On the *extremely* rare occasion he offers to help, you and him are quite the cooking duo

A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach

He loves to watch you do your hobbies even if he isn’t interested in them. He’s more focused on the joy that they bring you

All of your friends say your relationship goals even you just think you both are mature enough to be with each other

Even when problems do arise, it never lead to a screaming match. Instead you talk through the issue with terms like “I know you did this because of *blank*, but I did not like that/understand why because *blank*”. If you two can’t come to an agreement and are getting agitated: you both will go into separate rooms to calm down.

Daichi sawamura

-surprised but accepts the compliment wholeheartedly

-would be bashful and blush but would play it off like it was no big deal

-very modest about whatever you complimented him on

-the rest of the day he'd think about it and might even smile or smirk a little

-his teammates will ask what happened as they caught him in the act and he'll just brush it off as "something he remembered" but they can clearly see whatever it was had him distracted a bit

-might even catch you the next day having feeling bad and compliment you next with a grin

Kuroo tetsuro

-smirks immediately getting almost big boned about it

-accepts the compliment and throws in a grin complimenting you back

-finds it endearing and can't hide how happy it makes him to hear

-the rest of the day he's hyper at practice,giving a big speech than he usually does and has a big grin that everyone finds kind of distrubing

-his teammates will ask what happened curious,but he shrugs them off,but if they insist he might just brag about it (more specifically to taketora)

Oikawa toru

-despite him being used to the compliments from others,when it's from you,he gets more flutered while trying to compose his usual dramatic self

-has the widest grin as he flaunts the compliment to iwa who probably most likely wouldn't care and just wants him to get back to practice

-just like oikawa he'd get flustered and excited,tho it's just a compliment,he'd thrive off of it the rest of the day

-"did you see that spike?" "I was awesome right?!" "I'm the best ace,right??right??!"

-honestly it was a little obnoxious but the guy loves compliments especially from you,plus the team was able to win cuz of it so no one really cared much

-would compliment you back and give a hug right after

-would get mad and pout when you complimented one of his teammates but not him

ushijima wakatoshi

-would stare at you for a moment processing your words then simply state "thank you" like it was nothing and walk away

-he doesn't mean to be rude or a bit cold about it,he's just too stunned plus half of his mind is focused on volleyball that he didn't expect a random compliment

-would later try and think of a compliment for you to give

-"your hair...looks nice" something like that or along those lines he would say with like barely a hint of a smile but he'd really mean it!

-wouldn't have thought much of the compliment but if you'd had a smile or some expression he'd think about it the rest of the day while trying to stay focused

kita shinsuke

- would be a bit more surprised,raising an eyebrow,before shifting back to his cool demeanor and nod

-he'd appreciate the compliment while throwing one randomly back without any affect or expression

- simply a "you look quite pretty/good looking today" while he focus back on sipping his water like he said nothing at all, not even giving you a glance

-wouldn't really think about the compliment much but once he told the twins about it atsumu looked at him like he was either stupid or crazy

moniwa kaname(former captain)

-would stare at you for a moment and blush embarrasingly

-would accept the compliment though a bit bashful,probably scratching his head with a "thanks,i didn't think anyone noticed"

-would compliment you back while stumbling over his words

-wouldn't really get distracted unless someone brought it up then he's back to his flustered mess

-would watch you or stare at you without noticing as the compliment replays in his mind but tries to keep focus

-would probably try and be around you more or ask to hang out

futakuchi kenji

-would be stunned to say the least

-probably a little flustered pointing at himself as he can't believe a girl complimented him

-would flirt and compliment you back and once he get a reaction would smirk and walk away

-internally screaming but plays it cool

-might even try and impress you but fails,his teammates laugh at him and he yells at them "don't laugh at your captain!!"

-would have been a step ahead and complimented you first,but if you gave him a compliment he'd be star struck and basically already planning your wedding

HQ!! Types of friends || misc headcanons

Based on actual things I've done with my friends cause it's the little things in life <3

Ft. Atsumu, Kenma, Tsukishima, Akaashi, Bokuto, Daichi, Terushima, Oikawa, and Nishinoya

Atsumu is the one who has a water balloon fight with you, in your front yard, at 10pm. You were supposed to have it earlier, but the day had other plans. But when he saw you feeling bummed about it, he took the initiative to fill the balloons and put them outside for you two. Sure it was cold, but the way you two were laughing your asses off as you tried to hit each other, and failed half the time because of how dark it was? A memory you won't ever forget.

Kenma who calls you at 9:30pm, asking if you'd want to come over and play games with him. Sometimes the night consists of the two of you playing some multiplayer game together, while other nights are spent sitting quietly as you both try to complete your own games. When you stay over a little too late, he'll say that it's okay if you just crash there. And if you're the type who doesn't sleep until it's technically morning, just like him, the two of you will scrounge around the kitchen finding odd snacks for 4am, like left over pizza for kenma, and two uncrustables for yourself.

Tsukishima isn't one to be overly affectionate to his friends, everyone already knows this. But you easily notice that it's the little things that show he cares. Something he does often, is recommending movies or tv shows that he enjoyed, hoping that you'd like them too. He will usually wait a few days before asking if you watched them yet, and to ask what you thought about them. He likes to make sure that you enjoyed what he recommended, and of course it makes him feel better knowing that he's still up to date with the things you like.

Akaashi is the type of friend who will let you randomly come over, sprawl across his bed and just talk about your day. He likes to watch you recount your adventures, finding it funny how animated you can be while storytelling. Occasionally he'll add his own anecdotes, granted they're a lot less flashy, but it always brings your mood up just hearing about his day. At a point, he makes sure to have 'your spot' on his bed clear of anything that could get in your way, and even bought extra blankets for you to use while you're there.

Bokuto always gives you the biggest bear hugs when he sees you, as long as you let him do so that is. It doesn't matter if it's been a few weeks or a few days since he saw you last. He wraps strong arms around you, nearly squeezing the life out of you as he lifts you from the ground, a boisterous and infectious laugh that will rumble through his chest each and every time he does this. One time, when he went on a particularly long trip, he left you with a sweater of his, saying something about how hopefully it would take the place of his hugs until he came back.

Daichi is the friend who tries new recipes with you. If you're craving something, he'll find the recipe online, and go buy the ingredients. You take turns on whose kitchen you use, but you always cook them together. There's always a good mix of your favorite music artists, resulting in small dance parties while you wait for your food to cook. For the most part, you two wind up with a delicious meal or snack, but there have been times when something doesn't come out right, and you have to brainstorm on who to give the leftovers to.

Terushima goes on late night drives with you. If it's nice enough, the windows are rolled down, and the music is just slightly too loud to have any sort of conversation with him. Sometimes he's a little scary of a driver, in his words "the curbs just jump out at me sometimes" but regardless, you'll always think fondly of how terrible of singers you both are, though neither of you care that much. Sometimes, when you're feeling extra dubious, he comes up with the scheme of stealing a lone traffic cone, which has resulted in his room having two or three of the things.

Oikawa hates house sitting alone. He honestly just hates being alone in the first place, which is why you're the first of his friends that he reaches out to. He makes sure to tell whoever it is that he's watching the house for that you'll be there, and by now they've come to remember your name. Sometimes you two don't even do anything while you're there, but the comfort in knowing that neither of you are alone in an unfamiliar place is always welcome. On top of that, he likes to joke about how similar house sitting together is to if you'd be roommates. Slightly messy living room, sleepovers in your not so far rooms, and plenty of movie nights.

Nishinoya goes ghost hunting with you. He's practically the only one of your friends who even agrees to go. He'll help research any supposedly haunted areas in your town, and do his best to exaggerate the details in an attempt to scare you. While you're out on an adventure, he'll be sure to make sure he's prepared with all of the necessary items, flashlights, snacks, bandaids, some sort of protective ward, random coins to leave as gifts for the spirits. You love seeing how invested in the activity he gets, and how eventually he's the one inviting you to go out and explore.
