Oooh good one! Of course, This is Halloween and Spooky Scary Skeletons would normally go here of course, but let's branch out into some other ones instead. Here we go:

anyway, Drake. he's the og skrunkly. THE blorbo. my scrimblo boingo. my little meow meow. he lives in my head rent free. as you can tell, he has Main Character disease (heterochromia) or, as I like to say, he has homophobia in his eyes. he's very very autistic about dragons, like me. he's the only one who can talk to them because he is Special and because I created him when I was Fourteen Years Old. he loves space. he has no friends. he is a Nerd. he has anxiety. what more could you possibly want from a character? ohhh, right. plot.

well, you see. he has loved dragons all his life. when he was a little boy, he found one injured in the local forest, his rider dead. his name was Atlas. he helped the dragon escape from a pack of werewolves that were attacking him (gaining Childhood Trauma from it, of course). he figured out what Atlas was saying, because he could hear the very high-pitched sounds dragons use in their language, and that no one but him could hear. thanks to this, they could escape the wolves and find help. years later, the deputy headmaster (who's also the general of the dragon riders, and Kira's dad) of the Stella Academy asks him to leave his home and family to go study in the Academy. with a catch, of course: he has to figure out why the dragons have been getting weaker each generation, for seemingly no reason. if he can solve the mystery before his fourth year, he can keep studying for free in the Academy. if he can't... well, let's say the Academy isn't exactly cheap. oh, and he has to attend all his classes and also work with an old dragon called Ozymandias, who is now-dead-Atlas' brother and who apparently hates him, all while actively solving a problem no one had ever been capable to solve. no one said it would be easy!
