my thoughts on what the horrorswap boys would be like. took me a while to think of all of sans' text

Laddies we got an Au

Long post below the cut and some disturbing imagery, so be advised.

So it takes place after Pearl sunk Abalone and his fleeting. This time however her sisters actually stuck around to check on her after everything and actually managed to help her open up…some how.

Though her heart wasn’t stained black she will never be the same.

However she was able to build up the strength to talk to Lord Oyster again. She never fully forgave him for giving away her pearl, but he was there after the attacks to take care of the pirates who had somehow managed to avoid dying to take them to justice. This showed the mermaids that some cookies could be trusted. Because of this Pearl became a guardian for The House of Oyster and oh boy did that do wonders for their reputation!

With her making peace with all her pain she didn’t fully become Black Pearl and is kinda grey(-ish purple) I need to work on her design a bit more obviously, but she followed a lot closer to Crimson and takes her job as a protector seriously enough. Some may wonder if she enjoys a good fight more than defending her friends.

Also her sister and Frilled Jellyfish have her tokens to try and brighten her up some.

Through all this Lord Oyster swore he would redeem himself to his moon (she asked him not to call her that anymore lol) So he dedicated a good chunk of resources to trying to locate her pearl! This mission was passed down through the generations until finally…

Oyster Cookie had finally gotten a big lead and was able to send one of the best captains and his crew out to try and recover it.

Unfortunately they ran into a slight problem.

The sea the pearl was said to be found in was rough and could capsize a ship twice their size. Caviar wanted to go alone, but with a crew as stubborn as he they braved it together as one! (Candy Diver died in a different accident and Caviar still managed to find them and bring them aboard because he’s just that good at sniffing out crew mates.)

Alas it wasn’t just a storm.

It was a trap.

A band of pirates forged a letter hoping Oyster herself would show up so they could get a nice tidy ransom, but when a harder than nails crew showed up in their place they were far from pleased.

The Salty Shark crew hold their ground well, but being outnumbered four to one never seems to end in your favour.

Caviar was the last to go down and was thrown overboard to his watery grave like the rest of his crew. After The Silent’s crew was demolished completely the pirates set out to “commandeer” her, but immediately things started to go wrong for them. Things went so wrong that at least two were killed on their scramble to get off the boat while many more met their soggy fates as they threw themselves overboard in preference to whatever was on their with them.

Guess what movie franchise this is based on :D

As the legend says the captain pulled himself up out of the deep that night and sails his waters of the Duskgloom searching for his crew to bring them safely aboard and finally leave that damned place. However the captain’s kindness runs short with strangers who cross his path, especially those who fly the skull and crossbones.

The Silent is still under his full command and all orders are carried out will full efficiency.

Now Oyster wanted the return of her pearl to be a surprise with a big celebration after, but when the captain never returned and those she sent to look for him disappeared she had few other choices than to send her most capable guard.

If cryptid hunter y/n was any kind of cryptid, which one they be?

Coming from the Cryptid Sightings Swapped Style AU, Y/N would be a demonic cryptid, capable of possessing and otherwise very powerful and intimidating. They're also a heart-eater. Their true form is goopy, dark, and only humanoid by silhouette. They're not as monstrously shaped as Cryptid!Eclipse but they boast of an eerieness due to their almost human but not quite features.

If they had to be a specific, previous existing cryptid, aside from a vampire (as per The Lost Episode), I'm gonna let my bias show and say a mothman-esque being.

The only mothman Cryptid!Eclipse could love.

Yet Another Soulmate Prompt

Constantine didn't have a soulmate. He didn't have a body counter on his arm (in any sense of the term), and he had never body swapped with them. That was fine. A soulmate would slow him down. Be a liability. Plus, not everyone had a soulmate. No big deal.

But then something happened. He had a counter on his wrist. Since the number was freakishly high, his soulmate couldn't have just been born. When they swapped bodies, it was dark and cramped and uncomfortable. He tried for what must have been hours to swap back. When he finally returned to his own body, he found himself being restrained by the House of Mystery. After that experience he decided to actively resist the swap whenever he felt the pull.

Dan hadn't noticed when the counter appeared on his wrist, but it had been there even in his timeline. Not that he ever found out who it was. By the time he was interested in learning, he was unable to swap. Not that that was a surprise, he had killed a majority of the world by that point.

He hadn't even thought about swapping with his soulmate until after he was trapped inside the thermos. He figured that he could use the situation to his advantage.

He started experimenting with the limits of this new body he'd found himself in. Physically, it was rather weak, but he could feel a hidden well of power that could be useful if he figured out how to tap into it. He explored the house for a while, until he came across a library filled mostly with books on magic. Exactly what he needed to continue doing whatever he wanted.

In the back of his mind he could feel the other trying to swap back.

He started reading through the books, trying out spells. Then he found a few that were too much for the body he was in and pushed it further. The ectoplasm being created by his core would soon allow him to form outside of the physical body anyway. He wouldn't need it.

That was when he started noticing that the house was moving. By that point it was too late. The house was more proficient in magic than he was and was more than capable of preventing him from leaving it. When he was completely restrained by the house, he gave up resisting the swap. The body's owner would probably allow him to swap again when they weren't stuck inside that house.

Except they didn't. It made him wonder if his soulmate was trapped in that house similarly to how he was trapped in the thermos. Or perhaps they hated being in the thermos just as much as he did.

As much as he tried to fight it, he began to wonder who the other was, what their life was like. He began to regret not finding a mirror to see what his match looked like. He was starting to become rather curious who the universe would pair him with.

Whumptober Alt Prompts Survivor's Guilt/Body swap

And we're back for @whumptober, starting a little early here as it's still September but it's October in Oceania!

Also officially a year since i started writing for TVDs so yay, thankful to all those who found me and like what i write.

Sorry it's mostly pain and here's the latest pain, also known as 'Too sad for me to write. and 'The reflection he wished he was blind to'

Elijah takes a few leaves out of Klaus's book of trick and goes behind his little brother's back to save his life.

Klaus is left haunted by the last gift his brother gives him,

Klaus plays it out, how it would have gone, how it should have gone, every morning and night staring into the mirror.

It’s not his face staring back.

“Brother, I can't let you do this.” Elijah would have started.

Face showing the love that had helped protect the shard Klaus’ humanity despite his own attempts to drown it in blood for centuries.

“You have to.” he was have replied, trying to be cold and distance to help Elijah’s pain.

“Let me.” Elijah would have pleaded, always ready to sacrifice himself, like he expected Klaus to let him after a thousand year of Elijah being his stone.

Like he hadn’t lived years without him and felt that cold, like he could face that again.

“Never,” he would have snapped back standing strong, moving closer to set a hand on his shoulder, knowing touch was a weakness of his brother’s  “this is my redemption.” he would have explained, promised him that he understood what he was doing, convinced his brother that it was for the best. 

That it had to be this way. 

They may have fought, Elijah would never have accepted it easily, but Klaus was stronger and would have cheated if he had to.

“Brother.“ he would have smiled to show Elijah he was okay with this, that Elijah’s tireless quest had been completed, that he no longer needed to worry about Klaus.

“Brother.” Elijah would have said and Klaus would have treasured the care in his eyes and voice, used it to strengthen his resolve.

He wins, his brother gives in.

Their siblings would have helped him heal, Elijah would recover from grief and heal. He would be there for Hope, the way he should have always been, the way he had been for Klaus and the rest of them their whole lives.

Elijah would have finally gotten the chance to live for himself.

But that hadn’t happened.

His brother outplayed him.

Elijah hadn’t given him a chance. One moment he was prepared for his death then he was stumbling in a completely different place.

He had raced to where he should be, where the only thing that could kill them was. Knowing what had happened even if he hadn’t checked, the absences of the Hollow made it clear.

He had arrived to flames and his own body burning.

An echo to the same, years ago when it was Kol burning.

A horrible reverse of another time when he saved himself, by stealing another’s body.

A reminder of another time he arrived too late to save Elijah.

He didn’t want this, he had thought as he stumbled to stand over the remains, his ashen body, an empty corpse.

There were no last words, no desperate threats or bargains, no goodbye. He wonders if Elijah had even known he was there, that he wasn’t alone.

In his mind’s replay, like his dreams he won, he died and Elijah lived.

In the real world Elijah’s brown eyes stare back from his reflection but Elijah is gone.

Only Klaus remains.

In a world where he has to get used to the fact that, all that is left of the brother he had looked up to in his very long life was the body, his body now.

He wonders who the ache will fade for first, him, or his siblings.

The necklace Davina spelled sits on the edge besides the sink, the only thing that helps him keep him sanity. That stops him from flinching at every passing reflection, from seeing his brother in the eyes of those who speak to him.

He knows she created more for Kol’s sake than his own but he owes her for it in a way he can never make up for it.

“I don't blame.” Kol told him after he explained to them, as Freya cried in her wife’s arms and Rebekah destroyed things in another room. The rage and raw grief are clear in Kol’s voice despite his words Klaus knows he does blame Klaus a little, it is fair Klaus blames himself for it completely. “Our parents ruined Elijah, like mother did Finn, it's just none of us noticed until it was too late to fix.”

“How am I supposed to live with this?” He had choked, hands curling into fists but they weren't his hands, long elegant fingers better suited for piano keys than paint brushes.

“You have to, otherwise you'll be throwing away the last thing Elijah gave us.”

His hand reaches for the mirror and even knowing it just his reflection reaching back, a flare of traitorous hope burns because Elijah always comes when he needs him.

But he doesn’t anymore.

He can't.

The mirror surface is cold and the brown eyes that meet him aren’t warm and full of love but wet and full of pain and grief.

Grief that will never fade as every moment is a reminder of the stolen life, one he had never wanted to take.

Klaus wraps his- his brother’s- his arms around himself and refuses to let the tears fall, swallowing back the sobs.

He wants his big brother, he wants him to hold him. 

This is all he has left.

When the time comes there's no hesitation.

It's cruel, it's selfish, but Elijah knows himself and he can't risk Klaus convincing him.

There are no goodbyes, but he had killed himself years ago when he wiped his memories. Perhaps if he had done a better job then, done it properly, Hayley would be alive still, Hope would have her mother and he wouldn't be taking Klaus’ body with him.

The hand doesn't shake as it lifts the white Oak stake, he can feel the Hollow with him.

He lets himself look for a moment, hands he had once helped learn to shoot a bow, fingers he remembers crushing berries to make paint.

“I'm sorry.” He says but no one hears and he pushes the stake into his heart.

It hurts, it burns but he doesn't really feel it.

He was already dead.

There's a sound that calls his attention and he looks up. Through the flames consuming him he sees his own body, his face staring at him in horror.

He's gone before he can smile.

It’s selfish but he lets himself take comfort that he’s not alone.

Steve didn't chose that. Didn't chose any of it. Yet the universe just laughed in their faces and took Steve in the place of him, let him bleed out; scared, confused, and broken in Dustin's arms.

The universe has a fucking sick sense of humour, and Eddie could do nothing but watch it all play out

Steve was dead, but no one knew. Eddie was alive, but no one could ever find out.

In twin swap AU v2 where Shiki ends up constructing her own body using canon Satoru's body as 'base material,' she would look like a normal human!

Once upon a day, in some distant AU, Light and L have swapped bodies. What happens next?

Heh, this is very interesting situation, and I think that it's the best when it applies to the universe where Light is Kira and L, well... L.

So... they know each other already, but they haven't yet reached the moment when Light will be handcuffed to L and have his memories about the notebook erased. It will only last 24 hours (or for a week at maximum if someone preffers it for longer). It would be enough time for both of them to discover what they need without somehow jeopardizing their relationships with the people around them, or someone discovering their secret (they will find some great excuses for acting strange, I have no doubts, lol).

And once when the swap happens, they both get excited about it. For many reasons.

The first and main reason will be because:

L is convinced that he will finally find the weapon Kira uses to kill, and Light is convinced that he will discover L's identity and be able to finally kill him. Hm.

The moment they wake up in the morning (and realize what happened) they will think that victory is in their hands until they start worrying about their secrets being revealed (Light - his Death note, L - his real name).

Light's secret will remain safe, because L will see that Light has a diary hidden in a drawer and won't think much of it when he doesn't read any information about Kira in it and he will get bored because Light doesn't have anything really interesting written in there. He will find it a bit suspicious, but he will continue to search Light's room in other places (Ryuk is confused as to why Light is acting strange and can't hear him, but also doesn't try to make contact because the name above Light's head is double, his own, but also L Lawliet, which will be very confusing to Ryuk).

L's identity is also safe because his ID is hidden, Watari has it on safe place (which is the only source of information about his full name) and Light doesn't know this so he tries to search all the corners of L's hotel room and search all the files L has on his computer and wastes most of his time doing this.

As the end of the day (or the week) approaches, both will be frustrated that they didn't find the one piece of information they needed. And since they won't know when they will return to their own bodies, when the night finally comes, and they lie to rest on each other's bed, some other thoughts will flood their minds.

During the day, in addition to looking for information about each other, they will also try to get to know each other on a more intimate level (of course both will justify that they need to know everything about their enemy, because, reasons...).

They will also go through each other's search history and feel embarrassed when they come across various porn videos (I believe they both are curious gays). Then sooner or later the curiosity will prevail again and both of them will at some point undo their slits to see what's hiding inside 👀 (how thick and how big is the equipment, haha) (I mean why not??🤣) and maybe only at that moment they realize how turned on they really are (and I don't believe they will be able to resist the urge to "play" a little with themselves, or a little more 😏) that would be really funny xD (and hot🔥).

Anyway...

Partially disappointed that they failed to discover the information they needed, they will return to their own bodies when the time come. But somehow they won't be as eager to kill each other as they were before (but they will still know that it is something they will have to do in order to survive). Both will realize that they have some deeper feelings for each other, although they will still try to deny it.

But one thing that they will not know is that the first swap was only a warning, and the second will be permanent untill they stop being enemies and decide to help each other instead (could be some soulmate thing AU or something) ❤️

Once upon a day, in some distant AU, Light and L have swapped bodies. What happens next?

Funny answer?

Light really takes the Knife Game Song to heart in L’s body. He considers it an extra bonus that the body is so hopped up on sugar that his fingers are shaky.

Meanwhile in Light’s body, L decides Light would reeaaally love a tattoo. After much deliberation, he decides to tattoo Misa’s face and name onto Light’s chest. As well as send an email to the Toh-Oh dean which would most definitely get Light expelled.

Serious answer?

Light would 100% take advantage of the situation to learn as much information about L as possible. He’d have Watari’s trust and therefore access to most of L’s network. If there’s anything he’s missing, it would most likely be passwords and such. So his first task in L’s body would be to get those.

L would also take advantage of the situation. I could see him making tapes of Light ‘confessing’ to being Kira just so he has them in his back pocket while he continues investigating. Whether or not he finds out about the death note would be dependent on whether or not he could see Ryuk and/or Rem since it was Light’s hand who has touched the book. Either way, he could use his new leverage as Light to effectively interrogate Misa.

Since Light is in L’s body, he might try to confine L the same way L previously confined him. But I could see L retaliating by appealing to the task force and getting them to force Light not to do that.

Ironically I don’t think either of them would be immediately trying to return to their own body. It’s too much of an opportunity to have unfettered access to the other’s life, even if the risk to them is equally great. It would still be a cat and mouse game, just a very expedited and even more urgent one lol.
