Cassian had never been very sure he believed it, never wanted to believe it, but she had been distraught over her father’s death, and to lose her mother so soon after — to the apparent betrayal of a knight she had known and trusted for most of her life… he had accepted, bitterly, that it was possible.

But now he had reason to believe that it was false, and with the news of her (apparent) survival came responsibility.

Little though she may want his help, if she’d been taken by the Empire, it was only a matter of time before they discovered her identity and imprisoned her like they had him. He had a duty — she may not want his loyalty now, but she had it, and would have it until the end, even if she banished him and cursed his name.

Fever-Daydream Request Rules and Information

1. At this time, I will not write smut. I am okay writing more suggestive topics and may be open to writing smut in the future, but not right now.

2. Along with smut, I will not write large age gaps, extreme gore or violence, abuse of any kind, or any stories involving hateful rhetorics towards any group of people.

3. Though I will write stories about real life people, I won’t write about ships between real life people (ex. Joshler, Frerard, etc.). I am all for shipping, but it is just not something I personally am comfortable writing.

4. All “x Reader” pairings will be “x Fem! Reader” unless a gender neutral reader is explicitly asked for. I will not write “x Masc! Reader”. This is due to the fact that I am a cis female and do not feel like I can accurately do so.

5. If you request a romantic pairing between two characters, they must both be canonically legal adults (18+). In all requests that are x reader, the reader will be at least 18 years old, even if the pairing is platonic.

6. I am a graduate student. Though I will strive to get requests done as fast as possible, I have no specific timeline that can be expected. I ask that you give me grace. Constant asking about when I will fulfill a request will result in the request being denied. If this happens multiple times, you will be blocked.

7. I have the right to deny any request if I feel uncomfortable with the subject matter and/or it does not follow the above stated rules.

Wyatt lives a comfortable life thanks to the wealth and fame he's accrued under his penname Garrett Cross and his world renowned, best selling, gay fantasy novel series The Harbinger. He's taking a bit of a break from writing-- his series is currently sitting at eight novels and he wants to start a new series but his fans keep demanding more for The Harbinger-- and he's using that as an excuse to spend more time with his family.

Growing up, Wyatt was very much a family man. His parents meant the world to him and, of course, as any younger sibling would be, he was a bit of a nightmare to his older brother Bodhi because it was fun to mess with him but underneath all of the brotherly squabbling and pestering he did respect his older brother; he did love him-- hell, he based the main hero of his Harbinger series after him.

As much as he did love it, his writing, it really had consumed his life. Sure, he started using his nephews and other people in his life as inspiration for new characters and storylines to add to his books, all that really did was distract him and keep him from admitting just how lonely he had become in his career. He'd grown distant from his brother(s), and he only saw his nephews on holidays, at Camp, or if he remembered to FaceTime them on their birthdays; and he hardly went out with the friends he did have because he was always worried that somebody would slip up, or that he would get drunk and say the wrong thing, and ruin the mystery he had spent years cultivating around who Garrett Cross was.

Point being, his life might have been comfortable enough and he might have been successful, but he was a mess.

That's why, in this break he's taken from writing, he's made sure to let it line up with the family's annual trip to Camp Daylight so that he can focus on his family and rebuilding his relationship with his brother(s) and nephews. Worst case scenario, even if he doesn't manage to fix anything at least he'll get more inspiration for his writings.

You know... Bix x Melshi is something I never considered before. 👀 Hahaha, and as a multi shipper I'll add it to my list of rare pairs, next to Bix x Brasso.

P.S.: Can you recommend me any other SW rare pairs to consider? 👀

hmm my ultimate one is Mon/Draven, I just love the potential of that dynamic. I've also seen the OT3 version of them with Merrick.

Then there's Saw/Luthen or Vel/Kleya, though I'm sure you've seen those before. I also saw Mon/Kleya, oh and Mon/Lyra once in a ship bingo and tbh, obsessed with that idea. Mon is just very shippable I think.

I'm very fond of Bodhi/Luke too, and some other RO/OT pairings could be Cass/Leia and Jyn/Leia. I know Han/Jyn and Luke/Jyn also exists, though I'm personally not a fan of either, but hey, you do you! Maybe Cassian/Han? I've also seen Cassian/Draven before.

There's also maybe Lyra/Saw (you could throw in Galen for an OT3). Jyn/Cinta... Kleya/Leia? Their names kinda make it weird but I kinda dig it.

And as a bonus, two absolute wild cards that I just came up with on the spot: Lyra/Draven and Brasso/Jyn.

i think the last time i did this i totally cheated and just posted the first lines of, like, 60 chapters of IGIKWIGT instead!! this time i have a variety of fics to share from the past three years, across six different fandoms.

The ship Luke puts his X-wing down next to is an absolute stunner of a yacht, sleek silvery curves an echo of the shoreline stretching out past the landing pad to meet Naboo’s aquamarine ocean.

When Kamran gets on the boat, he doesn’t have his phone.

4. i was herded and instructed, 2022, The Sisters Brothers, just under 4k words, WIP

The goose appears on the fifteenth of May, without even a single honk to announce its presence.

Tendi’s eating in the mess hall with her Lower Decks best friends when Boimler slides into their booth with a tray of his lobster mac and cheese with the breaded top, which she thinks is fine but not as good as this amazing Genovese pesto that no one should ever compare to her skin color ever again or she’ll have to report them to Ransom and then he’ll get sad about the historical oppression of Orion women even though it’s actually a lot more complicated than that and wait, did Boimler just say—Barclay?

I love the clone army (+boba and jango), my favourite character is cody, closely followed by obi, luke and finn, I love the ot and rogue one a lot, as the first 2 seasons of the mandalorian, and i have a complex love-hate relationship with revenge of the Sith and the sequel trilogy. As for ships, I love dinluke, codywan and finnpoe, but I disagree with a lot of the fanon on here about them x) I also love rex, sabine, leia, bodhi and kalluzeb. I hope I didn't give too many options, tbh I'm sure I'll love what you do no matter what. Thank you for taking the time to ask and for participating!!
