We will be closed July 4. But don't let that stop you learning about Bald Eagles and the tremendous effort that turned near-extinction in the lower 48 into a conservation success story! Come visit the Birds of Vermont Museum any other day to find out more. We are open daily, 10am to 4pm. Stay safe and cool this week, and celebrate our national bird. p.s. This wood carving was created by Bob Spear and took him 363 hours! The brown feathers are not painted; that's Bob's mad pyrography skills... #endangeredspeciesact #conservationsuccess #conservationsuccessstory #baldeagle #nationalbird #migratorybirdtreatyact #mbta #conservation #commonground #protectbirds #woodcarving #scientificart #bobspearwoodcarving #birdsofvermontmuseum #vtartist (at Birds of Vermont Museum)
