The Cedar Waxwing is found on our region throughout the year; although, they are more abundant in the summer months. Peregrine Falcons are known for their agility and speed. One has been seen on occasion this summer on UVM's campus checking out the resident pigeons. Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers were just one of the woodpeckers we say on our monthly monitoring walk. We also recorded Downy, Hairy, and Red-bellied Woodpeckers, as well as Northern Flickers.
