That’s what’s represented here. And the “you” is me. And yes, I am that short 🤣

But hey, these two are supposed to be very tall!

(I am summoning) two different fandoms here, so let me introduce these characters just in case: on the left is Arlecchino from the open-world anime gacha RPG Genshin Impact, and the one on the right is Sylus from the dating sim Love and Deepspace.

I have been playing Love and Deepspace quite a bit recently. I started the game because I thought Sylus seemed like a cool character (and he’s … well, hot). It was worth it. And I have been obsessed with Arlecchino ever since she was introduced in Fontaine (and again, she’s… hot).

I was thinking about how they not only have visual similarities, but they also have very similar personalities, stories, and overall vibe…

I clearly have a type. 😅

They are both high-ranking individuals in “ambiguously-aligned” organizations, leaders of their own factions — loved and deeply respected by those who know them. People assume the worst about them, but they are just calm and collected, self-made, powerful individuals with strong beliefs.

They seem arrogant and power-hungry control freaks at first glance, but they are caring and affectionate when you get to know them.

These two even share that lovely, sarcastic tone in every voice line.

Anywho, I could go on, but this is supposed to be an art blog. 🥲

I spontaneously wrote an Avenday short because some Twitter and Reddit posts gave me brainworms. It’s based mostly on the new Sunday leaks and my Sunday headcanons. So basically, Astral Express Sunday, or Nameless Sunday — whatever you prefer to call him. And it features an adorable, drunk Aventurine. So there’s that.

Another one of these “inserting my art into my photography” things… or “drawing in characters into my photos”… whatever you’d like to call it.

This time, it’s Avenday. ✨

When I took this photo, the thought that immediately crossed my mind was “omg, what if I draw Aventurine and Sunday making out in this old, interesting alley.”

So far, I am enjoying these experiments. I might upload the drawing as just the drawing (if that makes sense) at some point as well.

Alright, so, here’s something different from the usual artwork: our baby boi Sunday inserted (drawn) into a real space.

I was in Vienna last weekend. And for those who don’t recognize this place, it’s the Karlskirche — St. Charles’s Church, a stunning baroque church in central Vienna.

When I was in there, close to the altar, the first thing I thought about was Sunday. That’s how deep the brainrot runs. So, I thought I’d just “drawn him in” at the podium 😅

And this was the result ✨

This was a very specific experiment. One of my favorite mangas is Mars by Fuyumi Soryo. I thought: wait a sec, how would our dear Ajax/Tartaglia/Childe look as Rei Kashino?

So, this is a heavily referenced drawing of Childe inserted into scenes of the manga. Basically Tart as Rei. 🔥
