Just watched the Amelia Earhart episode of Bob's Burgers and my heart exploded and feelings are everywhere

What an outstanding, outstanding episode. The writing was, Jesus, it was FLEXING. The visuals? I was TRANSFIXED. The song at the end? SOBBING

The most recent episodes of the burger people have been absolutely heart wrenchingly beautiful. They make me sob and I just relate to these characters so damn much

I cannot even begin to describe it they just capture all aspects of life and living and growing with people so well I genuinely don’t care if you think the humour has been a little lax in recent seasons because every single episode is an incredible piece of art.

While re-watching Radio No, You Didn't, I made a rather interesting observation. The badge on Billy's arm is a Navy Bakers badge, meaning that Bob's grandfather most likely served as a cook aboard some navy vessel during WWII.

Appears like Big Bob isn't the only predecessor of Bob who knew his way around a kitchen.

i headcanon louise takes it the hardest once tina moves out for college. i always assumed tina would eventually get good enough grades and credit to get a scholarship to a good school and would plan to move into a dorm or her own apartment; meanwhile louise gets to take her old room, but she realizes it’s not worth the space if her older sister isn’t gonna be with her anymore.

Season 13 has:

-Louise worried about her future career and her family coming together to cheer her up in (13.3)

-Bob and Linda going to extreme measures to make Teddy hopeful for the future (13.4)

-Bob not wanting his children to suffer like he did when he was younger. (13.7)

-Louise thinking Tina is getting to old to play with her siblings. (13.8)

-Just all of Show Mama from the Grave, The Plight Before Christmas, and Amelia. (13.9, 13.10, 13.22)

-Several episodes of Bob realizing his dreams are not all they are cracked up to be.(13.1, 13.12)

-Louise’s entire last show and tell. (13.15)

-Gene dealing with not liking himself.(13.18)

-Linda not being okay with her children growing up. (13.21)

1# The Plight Before Christmas

This is not a surprise, I literally made a post back then in September-October when I first saw this episode. So I'm not going to elaborate as much as with others, also the thing that make this episode so special not something that I myself fully get, words elude me with this one. So let’s say I love it just because.

I think whe all know and love this scene, this moment when Tina reach to Louise when no one else could cause this is their big sister, and many can say that she don’t get most things but she get her siblings and she’s gonna be with them even if Louise said is not necessary even if they don't mention it, cause she wants to be there with them cause is important. All this while the most beautiful song interpreted by Genie Beanie plays in the back, wrapping everything together, cause yeah even if is mostly Tina and Louise, Gene is there, always there. They are the Belcher kids, the best siblings in the world.

And by the way I want a standing ovation for mah baby bean, cause they save that night for everyone in that auditorium. He is a real musical genius, he can think outside the box and find solutions and his heart is full of music, music that they know and understand despite what everyone says. when Bob look at Gene while they play, like he’s the most amazing person he has ever seen, is cause he is.

This episode is full of quite moments, silent and intimate moments that convey such strong warming and familiar emotions. Is a hug for the heart, like the serie itself.

And I don't want to forget Bob and Linda, they're just the greatest parents in the world, no one is doing it like them.

I truly love this episode deeply. This is the one that got me crying every time.

I think season 13 was such a Louise season. She had so much growth and so many of the episodes centered her made me cry - the Christmas episode, amelia - just to name 2.

This seasons focus on family and family unconditional love/support was so beautiful. This silly little show’ has had some rocky reasons but they really nailed it with this one.
