K, for the Phukket Yoongi fic that I def don't want (absolutely need on my desk like yesterday I'm actually in crisis and only phukket Yoongi can save me 🥲) I'll take a lil snippet of that please 🧚🏽♀️✨️
Watermelon & Suga (drabble)
✎ ˎˊ˗ Pairing: idol!Min Yoongi x tour guide!reader ✎ ˎˊ˗ Wc: 440 for this drabble ✎ ˎˊ˗ Genre: Fluff, eventual idk—could be anything based on feedback ✎ ˎˊ˗ Notes: Set during the events of D-day tour Phuket Vlog
While they eat, you stay behind on the boat, finishing your own lunch. There’s still some leftover watermelon, so you have it for dessert. It’s sweeter than any you have had all summer, but not sweet enough to distract you from the thought spinning in your head: Did the Min Yoongi really just invite you to join their group for lunch?
Ah, never mind. He was probably just being polite. Right? But then why did he stare at your lips for ten whole seconds when you were exploring the caves?
Fuck. You really need to get Lasik because your eyes cannot be trusted. Maybe a psychiatric evaluation too, while you’re at it.
Who are you kidding? At this point you can only afford the oh-so ahjumma-chic wide-brim hat so your lone brain cell is not fried by the sun.
BUT. Why does it feel like you had a connection?
Him with his kind eyes and that sexy smile.
Shaking your head, you grab a beer from the cooler and chug it, the cold brew doing its damnednest to wash down your delusions. For a moment, the only sound is the faint lapping of waves against the boat’s hull.
But then, footsteps.
You glance over your shoulder.
Speak of the devil.
Yoongi is walking into the shaded area of the boat, pushing damp strands of hair with his beautiful fingers.
“Hey,” you say, clocking that he’s coming in alone. Your pulse races.
“Hi.”
“Craving more watermelon?” you ask, smiling as you gesture to the plate.
He leans against the table, his gaze steady, but there’s something else there. “I was,” he says, his voice softer now, “but I think I’m craving something else.”
Your breath stutters. The plate in your hand feels heavier. The tips of his fingers brushes along the edge of the table as he walks closer, and closer.
“There’s, uh, more delicacies on the island,” you try to use your tour guide voice, but you’re faltering. “Thailand has, umm, over 1,000 species of fruit, you know…”
“Mmm.” A faint smirk touches his lips, but his eyes are fixed on you. He’s literally in front of you now, so close that the air is sucked out of your lungs. You notice every macro detail—the faint streaks of sunscreen on his cheek, the fine grains of sand clinging to his hair, the way his scent is a mix of the sun and the ocean and his own musk. And those lips. Goddamn those lips.
“What is it that you like?” you ask, your voice small and shy as he studies you, too.
“I think I prefer,” he murmurs, his hand brushing yours before leaning in. “This.”
A/N: so……….??? do we continue?

One word: Beautiful.
Food: Easy to find Vegetarian, Halal, Vegan, Lactose Free, Gluten Free, be careful about food with nuts, seems to be very common.
Positive experiences: Warm weather, kind and caring locals, very friendly atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, lots of food options for everyone (i.e; Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Lactose Free), laid-back attitudes, lots of recreational activities (swimming, hiking, water sports), inexpensive.
Negative experiences: Sometimes getting peer pressured into buying things, crossing roads and driving feels unsafe, some places are unsanitary, paying for toilets.
Overstimulation: Loud Noises, Humidity, Sand, Strange Smells, Sticking feeling, Sometimes Overcrowded, Small Spaces, Motion Sickness.
Recommended Activities: Bathing with Elephants, Snorkeling at Freedom Beach, Boat tours of Phi Phi Island and James Bond Island, Enjoying different restaurants.

What do you think of Jimin and Yoongi's friendship? Yoonmin shippers are all over that ship and spread the dumbest analysis and lies (they literally thought Jimin was in Phuket with Yoongi when he wasn't tried to point out they could even hear Jimin's voice in that vlog lol) on even the smallest of interactions between them. It's clear that bond is biased towards Yoongi since he leeches off Jimin and Jimin gets nothing in the end considering how Yoongi was 100% okay screwing over Jimin's promotions for his own album (but not Taehyung and Jungkook's of course) when that man should have released his album months prior which I might want to add he spent 3 years working on so it should have already been finished he just wanted to ride off the hype of Face for himself and his upcoming concert.
Said this before, but I’m not a fan of how yoongi interacts with jimin. And as much as armys like to brush off how he does and call people sensitive for calling out how he talks to him, it still doesn’t sit right with me. He’s overly harsh to jimin. Then you look at how he treats th and jk and it’s night and day. He handles those two with gloves (well everybody in the group does tbh) is so mindful of them and then with jimin it’s like he immediately turns it off. That comment he made on that one show was one of the most egregious ones (not including the one he made on jimin’s body) and pissed me off bad. Cutting jimin off while he was talking about FACE and telling him to not do it because his promotions ended was nasty. Especially when he’s one of the main reasons it ended so abruptly. Friends will bicker obviously, but what yoongi does to jimin is often so mean spirited and unnecessary.
80% of yoonminers are taekookers who need somebody to take jimin out the picture and hang him off of. The other 20% are in the same boat with jikookers who at large just use jimin as a shipping tool and are basically solo yoongi stans. The amount of yoonminers who ended up dropping jimin after what happened with dday and face last year tells you all. If they really liked him, there’d be no issue with seeing jimin be successful, but again being rapline stans, they have superiority complexes. Most likely didn’t take jimin seriously to begin with, so it was easy to start bad mouthing him.
Yoongi didn’t intentionally set out to benefit from having his comeback so close to jimin’s, but he got lucky that it was regardless. He said on one of the shows he was on (whether it was his own or another) that he delayed the album specifically due to one song he wasn’t vibing with. I’m positive the tour was already set in place and he saw dropping the album in April so it could coincide with it more closely, as a plus. But he still paid no heed to jimin or FACE. Which I’m also very sure he knew was coming out in advance. Everything was just extremely poor planning on his and hybe’s end and it was selfish. I’ll never change my mind on that.

Thailand's top hotels || SofiaHotelHuahin
Thailand punches well above its weight when it comes to accommodations because it is home to some of the top hotels in Asia. The country's iconic addresses are saved for the beaches and islands; Chiva Som has frequently been named the best destination spa in the world, while Aman, Banyan Tree, and Six Senses are scattered throughout Thailand's top islands. In Bangkok, glitzy city hotels rival those found in New York and London.
There are a lot of quaint and hidden hideaways to be discovered as well, where warm service and regional cuisine make you feel like you've had a taste of local life. The best hotels in Thailand are rounded together here for a rundown of our favorites.
Six Senses Yao Noi, Phang Nga
On the steep tiny island of Yao Noi, which is situated in Phang Nga Bay midway between Phuket and Krabi, Six Senses has mastered the castaway experience. On the speedboat trip to the resort, shoes are removed, and signs made of driftwood indicate to the white sand beach, the hilltop infinity pool, and a cluster of stilted homes with thatched roofs. Seeing the spa buried among the jungle's traditional long homes, getting to dinner by climbing through the multi-level bamboo and clapboard restaurants, and watching movies on the beach beneath the stars all feel like adventures. Use one of the hotel's bicycles to make a circuit of the island, passing through the fishing community and rubber plantations, and keep an eye out for pairs of sooty black hornbills.
Chiva Som, Hua Hin
Chiva Som is without a doubt the reigning queen of the Thai wellness industry; 27 years ago, when they first appeared on the scene, spa vacations in Thailand weren't even a thing. Since then, there have been many imitators, but none have been able to top the original's life-enriching blend of cutting-edge fitness (new equipment includes Iron Man-like Vision Bodysuits), medical diagnostics (blood work, gene testing), conventional Asian healing therapies, and hyper-intuitive staff. There are 16 distinct retreats to choose from, each of which will be meticulously customized to satisfy all of your mental, physical, and emotional needs. These retreats include stress and pain management, fitness boost, immune resilience, and elder wellness. This is where lifelong habits can be altered.
Banyan Tree Samui
The private pool in your home features a floating lotus flower and unparalleled panoramic views of Lamai Bay. Buggies transport visitors around the villas, private beach, spa, and elevated restaurant The Edge, which are connected by twisting steep walkways. Differently sized and shaped villas rise from the peninsula, but everyone has a view of the garden or the sea. The spacious bedrooms in the family and couple villas are open to expose private infinity pools, and the rainfall showers are large enough for two people. Beanbag chairs are set up on a wooden deck so that guests can relax and watch the sunrise over the water. Try renting a kayak or taking a private boat tour while spending the day at the private beach, or have afternoon tea at the beach café. If you go between April and May, you might get the chance to see local turtle hatchlings making their way into the water. It's imperative to visit the spa, particularly for the hydrotherapy massage. A steam room session precedes the ice-cold shower in the Rainforest treatment, which is followed by hard-powered water jets that target the back muscles.

Which Phuket Speedboat Tour For Me?
If you're in Phuket and want to do a speedboat tour, which one should you choose? The Phi Phi Island boat tours or the Phang Nga Bay tour? Well, if you ask us we'd say both. But let's give you some information about the differences between these two tours so that you can make an informed decision.
Phi Phi Island Speedboat Tour
The best part about Phi Phi Island is its starring role in the movie The Beach. Since then, tourists have been flocking there every year. Phi Phi consists of 6 islands but commonly people only know of Phi Phi Lay and Phi Phi Don. It is surrounded by stunning waters and blessed with white sandy beaches.
If your idea of a good day out is snorkelling and swimming in these clear blue waters followed by soaking up some rays on a beautiful beach, then a tour may just be the one for you! At Simba we offer several opportunities for snorkelling and also hanging out on the beach.
Phang Nga Bay Speedboat Tour
Phang Nga Bay is best known for the iconic James Bond Island. The island has since been named, and is affectionately known as, James Bond Island. This is not the only thing to see or do in the bay though. There are stunning karsts jutting from the sea, hidden lagoons, caves and much more to explore.
A Phang Nga Bay tours suits adventurous types. Whilst we do manage to fit a bit of lazing around on a beautiful beach, the tour is predominantly activities based. The scenery in Phang Nga Bay is stunning and is often compared to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
There is a good reason as to why these two areas share similar topography because they are both part of an area that was effected by a big shift in Earth's plates thousands of years ago."
Private Boat Tour Phuket is a great way to see the sights in Phuket. Explore the serene beauty of Phuket by private boat, a truly unique way to experience Thailand's amazing islands. Created especially for small groups and families, our private tour of Phuket offers a personalized tour experience unlike any other. Book your tour now.

Boatinthebay Yacht Charter - Koh Panyee Floating Village Tour
Koh Panyee houses around 1600 inhabitants of 360 families, who live on this island for all time. All inhabitants are immediate or aberrant relatives of TohBaboo and his family as well as companions. These individuals are the absolute first to settle down on this island's local area way back 200 years ago. To arrive with no quarrel, just organize it with your picked yacht rental in Phuket and they will add it to your schedule.
Island of the Banner
This is the interpretation for Koh Panyee or Ko Panyi as some others spell it. This moniker came from the fascinating story of 3 Indonesian families. TohBaboo and 2 additional families left Indonesia by boat so they could view it as another home. Each boat vowed to look for a spot with bountiful fish and sufficient room to house every one of the three families. As a sign that they've found such a spot, they were to raise a banner at the most elevated conceivable on the mountain close to it. Toh Badoo respected this commitment, consequently the name it is currently exceptionally renowned for.
What's in store
This town is "drifting" since it is made out of huge and vertical limestone bluffs, that turned into the underpinning of the shacks, hovels, houses, and eateries associated and expand on braces. The casual design utilized in the structure of this local area is dumbfounding, no doubt.
In addition, the adolescents act as advisers for travelers visiting this spot. Since they are detached, this local area is glad that they are self-supporting as far as their power, Web association as well as water supply. Likewise, local people are ecologically cognizant so their school has a reusing program set up. Assets from the offer of gathered jars and jugs go to the school. Aqua-farming is additionally finished to instruct the understudies to develop vegetables.
FYI, this local area is Muslim so ensure that your female sidekicks are not wearing tank tops and shorts or short skirts. Fundamentally, you can wear whatever doesn't show a lot of skin.
Visiting Koh Panyee gives an intriguing understanding of how this town is made and supported by its occupants. Visit this spot by orchestrating it ahead of time with your believed yacht rental Phuket administrations. Get in touch with us today for meetings or booking.
