What do you think of Jimin and Yoongi's friendship? Yoonmin shippers are all over that ship and spread the dumbest analysis and lies (they literally thought Jimin was in Phuket with Yoongi when he wasn't tried to point out they could even hear Jimin's voice in that vlog lol) on even the smallest of interactions between them. It's clear that bond is biased towards Yoongi since he leeches off Jimin and Jimin gets nothing in the end considering how Yoongi was 100% okay screwing over Jimin's promotions for his own album (but not Taehyung and Jungkook's of course) when that man should have released his album months prior which I might want to add he spent 3 years working on so it should have already been finished he just wanted to ride off the hype of Face for himself and his upcoming concert.
Said this before, but I’m not a fan of how yoongi interacts with jimin. And as much as armys like to brush off how he does and call people sensitive for calling out how he talks to him, it still doesn’t sit right with me. He’s overly harsh to jimin. Then you look at how he treats th and jk and it’s night and day. He handles those two with gloves (well everybody in the group does tbh) is so mindful of them and then with jimin it’s like he immediately turns it off. That comment he made on that one show was one of the most egregious ones (not including the one he made on jimin’s body) and pissed me off bad. Cutting jimin off while he was talking about FACE and telling him to not do it because his promotions ended was nasty. Especially when he’s one of the main reasons it ended so abruptly. Friends will bicker obviously, but what yoongi does to jimin is often so mean spirited and unnecessary.
80% of yoonminers are taekookers who need somebody to take jimin out the picture and hang him off of. The other 20% are in the same boat with jikookers who at large just use jimin as a shipping tool and are basically solo yoongi stans. The amount of yoonminers who ended up dropping jimin after what happened with dday and face last year tells you all. If they really liked him, there’d be no issue with seeing jimin be successful, but again being rapline stans, they have superiority complexes. Most likely didn’t take jimin seriously to begin with, so it was easy to start bad mouthing him.
Yoongi didn’t intentionally set out to benefit from having his comeback so close to jimin’s, but he got lucky that it was regardless. He said on one of the shows he was on (whether it was his own or another) that he delayed the album specifically due to one song he wasn’t vibing with. I’m positive the tour was already set in place and he saw dropping the album in April so it could coincide with it more closely, as a plus. But he still paid no heed to jimin or FACE. Which I’m also very sure he knew was coming out in advance. Everything was just extremely poor planning on his and hybe’s end and it was selfish. I’ll never change my mind on that.

Hi Mor,
I hope you don’t mind me asking this and apologies if you’ve answered this already, but for Thailand travel advice: could you suggest a rough estimate of how much cash I would need for a two week trip?
I’m not planning to drink/go clubbing. I’ll be mostly eating, visiting attractions and maybe the odd tour/boat trip. I’ll be in Bangkok and Phuket.
Even a rough rough estimate will help :).
I don’t mind at all- ask away. you’re going to have an amazing time!
we paid for all our hotels ahead of time, so the cash we brought was for pretty much exactly what you’re talking about.
I started with around 17,500 baht ($500 USD) & ended up getting out another $300-$400 USD equivalent later on. that might sound like a lot, but that covered all my food, transportation, multiple spa trips, new luggage, extra baggage fees while flying in country, a couple gifts for people back home, shopping for myself and experiences for 2 weeks. I didn’t really deny myself anything, so for me, it was a bargain. we did pay for the KP boat tour & Promthep Cape sunset yacht tour ahead of time. I had about $100ish USD left over at the end, so I spent about $700-$800 (can’t recall) in cash total.
if you can afford to take out extra, do it early to avoid ATM fees down the line. you can easily exchange whatever you don’t spend at the airport. if you want to get real nerdy about it like I did, make a spreadsheet of all your projected expenses & try to bring 15% or more than you expect you’ll need.
pick pocketing doesn’t seem to be much of an issue in Thailand, but I highly recommend not carrying it all on you once you get to where you’re going, just to be safe. cash still seems to be the preferred (sometimes only) method of payment in most places, so don’t count on being able to fall back on debit cards, credit cards, etc.
if you don’t have them already, some airline-approved luggage locks should give you some peace of mind if you leave cash in your room. I snagged a pair on Amazon that open with keycards you can keep in your wallet so you never have to remember a code.
that was more advice than you asked for, but I hope it helps!
p.s. I can’t remember the name of the spa right now, but if you’re interested in getting a Thai massage or just hitting up a spa, the best one we went to by far was in Phuket (it was incredible & very reasonable)! just comment or send me a message & I’ll track down the name for you.

Thailand's top hotels || SofiaHotelHuahin
Thailand punches well above its weight when it comes to accommodations because it is home to some of the top hotels in Asia. The country's iconic addresses are saved for the beaches and islands; Chiva Som has frequently been named the best destination spa in the world, while Aman, Banyan Tree, and Six Senses are scattered throughout Thailand's top islands. In Bangkok, glitzy city hotels rival those found in New York and London.
There are a lot of quaint and hidden hideaways to be discovered as well, where warm service and regional cuisine make you feel like you've had a taste of local life. The best hotels in Thailand are rounded together here for a rundown of our favorites.
Six Senses Yao Noi, Phang Nga
On the steep tiny island of Yao Noi, which is situated in Phang Nga Bay midway between Phuket and Krabi, Six Senses has mastered the castaway experience. On the speedboat trip to the resort, shoes are removed, and signs made of driftwood indicate to the white sand beach, the hilltop infinity pool, and a cluster of stilted homes with thatched roofs. Seeing the spa buried among the jungle's traditional long homes, getting to dinner by climbing through the multi-level bamboo and clapboard restaurants, and watching movies on the beach beneath the stars all feel like adventures. Use one of the hotel's bicycles to make a circuit of the island, passing through the fishing community and rubber plantations, and keep an eye out for pairs of sooty black hornbills.
Chiva Som, Hua Hin
Chiva Som is without a doubt the reigning queen of the Thai wellness industry; 27 years ago, when they first appeared on the scene, spa vacations in Thailand weren't even a thing. Since then, there have been many imitators, but none have been able to top the original's life-enriching blend of cutting-edge fitness (new equipment includes Iron Man-like Vision Bodysuits), medical diagnostics (blood work, gene testing), conventional Asian healing therapies, and hyper-intuitive staff. There are 16 distinct retreats to choose from, each of which will be meticulously customized to satisfy all of your mental, physical, and emotional needs. These retreats include stress and pain management, fitness boost, immune resilience, and elder wellness. This is where lifelong habits can be altered.
Banyan Tree Samui
The private pool in your home features a floating lotus flower and unparalleled panoramic views of Lamai Bay. Buggies transport visitors around the villas, private beach, spa, and elevated restaurant The Edge, which are connected by twisting steep walkways. Differently sized and shaped villas rise from the peninsula, but everyone has a view of the garden or the sea. The spacious bedrooms in the family and couple villas are open to expose private infinity pools, and the rainfall showers are large enough for two people. Beanbag chairs are set up on a wooden deck so that guests can relax and watch the sunrise over the water. Try renting a kayak or taking a private boat tour while spending the day at the private beach, or have afternoon tea at the beach café. If you go between April and May, you might get the chance to see local turtle hatchlings making their way into the water. It's imperative to visit the spa, particularly for the hydrotherapy massage. A steam room session precedes the ice-cold shower in the Rainforest treatment, which is followed by hard-powered water jets that target the back muscles.

Which Phuket Speedboat Tour For Me?
If you're in Phuket and want to do a speedboat tour, which one should you choose? The Phi Phi Island boat tours or the Phang Nga Bay tour? Well, if you ask us we'd say both. But let's give you some information about the differences between these two tours so that you can make an informed decision.
Phi Phi Island Speedboat Tour
The best part about Phi Phi Island is its starring role in the movie The Beach. Since then, tourists have been flocking there every year. Phi Phi consists of 6 islands but commonly people only know of Phi Phi Lay and Phi Phi Don. It is surrounded by stunning waters and blessed with white sandy beaches.
If your idea of a good day out is snorkelling and swimming in these clear blue waters followed by soaking up some rays on a beautiful beach, then a tour may just be the one for you! At Simba we offer several opportunities for snorkelling and also hanging out on the beach.
Phang Nga Bay Speedboat Tour
Phang Nga Bay is best known for the iconic James Bond Island. The island has since been named, and is affectionately known as, James Bond Island. This is not the only thing to see or do in the bay though. There are stunning karsts jutting from the sea, hidden lagoons, caves and much more to explore.
A Phang Nga Bay tours suits adventurous types. Whilst we do manage to fit a bit of lazing around on a beautiful beach, the tour is predominantly activities based. The scenery in Phang Nga Bay is stunning and is often compared to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
There is a good reason as to why these two areas share similar topography because they are both part of an area that was effected by a big shift in Earth's plates thousands of years ago."
Private Boat Tour Phuket is a great way to see the sights in Phuket. Explore the serene beauty of Phuket by private boat, a truly unique way to experience Thailand's amazing islands. Created especially for small groups and families, our private tour of Phuket offers a personalized tour experience unlike any other. Book your tour now.

What Should You Know Before Reserving a Private Yacht in Phuket?
Often called the "Pearl of the Andaman," Phuket is an ideal location for anyone looking for luxury, adventure, and unspoiled natural beauty. One of the most unforgettable ways to tour the gorgeous islands, blue seas, and secret coves in the area is Phuket Boat charters.
Information You Should Know Before Scheduling a Private Yacht Trip to Phuket
Some elements should be taken into account to guarantee a seamless and fun trip even before entering into this special experience.
● Types of Yachts Available
Everyone has a special appeal and use. For those who enjoy the peace of wind-powered travel, sailing yachts are perfect; motor yachts offer speed and luxury, therefore facilitating the covering of more locations in less time. Families or groups would find catamarans' stability and roomy designs ideal. Often including modern conveniences, personal chefs, and on-board entertainment, luxury superyachts appeal to people looking for a totally luxurious experience. The group size, budget, and preferred vacation style will all affect the kind of boat one chooses. Knowing the choices guarantees the fit for the event and personal tastes.
● Knowing the Expenses
Phuket's private boat charters range greatly in cost depending on the size, kind, age, amenities, and condition of the yacht. Usually covering the boat hire, crew wages, and basic fuel for the itinerary are charter fees. Still, extra expenses could include water sports equipment rentals, advanced provisioning allowances (APA) for food and beverages, and dockage fees. Before deciding on the booking, make clear the inclusions and exclusions. Talking about the budget with the charter business helps guarantee the experience fits financial expectations and helps avoid surprises.
● Optimal Routines
A portal to some of the most amazing locations in Southeast Asia, Phuket is Popular paths include day journeys to Phang Nga Bay, with its famous limestone karsts and emerald waters, or excursions to the Similan Islands, noted for world-class diving and snorkeling. Multi-day charters could travel far out to the calm waters of the Andaman Islands or visit the Phi Phi Islands, noted for their rich marine life and remote beaches. By discussing preferred locations and experiences with the charter business, one can design a customized schedule that best maximizes the trip.
● Team and Services
Any private yacht experience is much enhanced by the crew. Typically featuring a captain, deckhands, and sometimes a cook, most boats feature a professional team. While their local knowledge improves the trip with insider advice on the finest locations for swimming, diving, or simply soaking in the sights, the crew's experience guarantees flawless sailing. Talking ahead of the team about dietary preferences, exercise schedules, and any specific demands helps to produce a unique and unforgettable experience.
● Tips for Booking
Phuket's peak yachting season runs from November to April, at which time calm waves and the dry season coincides. Booking early in this season will help to guarantee the best vessels and itineraries. Though charters are usually more reasonably priced for off-season visitors, weather should be taken into account.
Conclusion
