This is a message for all the 10th and 12th boards appearing students:

Please take care of your physical and mental health and remember that it's just an exam.

Remember to eat healthy and keep yourself hydrated at all times.

Get a proper sleep before exam to give your best performance.

Do not panic once you see the question paper, take a deep breath and believe in yourself.

To all who are also preparing for entrance exams, try to focus on one thing at a time, if you're studying for boards then study for boards, Don't overthink about entrance exams at this point.

This is not the first exam you've ever given and certainly not the last one you'll give. Treat it just like any other exam.

Even if you fail, it's not the end of the world, there is so much more to life than just a stupid board exam.

hi <3 i love your blog !! i open your blog everytime i feel myself losing focus and boom ✨ motivation ✨ my question is, what are your tips for a 10th grader who is extremely poor at time management?

Honestly I'd just say, Have Fun as much as you can. Ask any 11th grader or anyone in senior secondary they'll start reminiscing their 10th days because sadly that's the last any of us got to experience carefree joy.

Coming to your question, I'm sure you already know the "divide your subjects into slots" management tool. But what I like to do is, divide the day into “Energy Levels” and then fit the subjects according to the energy slots. For example, if you are waking up early, you'd want to utilise that time with doing Physics or Maths or looking at important dates from Social Science — basically anything that'll take much mental effort. When you're too tired you can go through diagrams or maps (they ask map based questions too!). This was just an example to guide you to make a personalized chart for yourself.

The trick to find what works for you is a, sometimes quiet lengthy process of Trial and Error. If you don't get the desired outcome na, don't think it's because you're this or that, don't blame yourself, maybe you didn't succeed is because the method you were using wasn't effective - change the method not the goal ok!

Other than that, try to make studying enjoyable by setting goals/rewards for yourself — once you start enjoying the process, other distractions won't cause you any problem. Try to set aside time to review stuff every other day, or every 2 days since you last studied it — reviewing is the most important task!

Again, I'd like to emphasize DON'T sacrifice all the fun, friends and social life just yet — iska bhi samay ajayega kaafi jaldh (11th next he h) /j

I have had the best weekend. I got accepted into my dream school (they have 2 rounds of admission and I got rejected in the first round but my mom was called and informed that I was accepted in the second round), my mom made my favourite breakfast (Kanda poha with bhujia) and lunch (Rajma chawal) and an amazing dinner (idk what to call it tho) and Gajar ka halwa (it reminds me of my grandmother who used to feed me tiny strands of carrot when I was a year old and she passed away). I heard my grandpa (my father figure and usually a very stoic man who rarely lets his emotions show) bragging about my acceptance in my dream school to his friend when he thought I wasn't listening. My studies are going well and just when I was feeling over my head, one of my moots messaged me and my mood immediately improved.

Spread this positivity and reblog this with one good thing that happened to you this weekend because times may look grim, but it is these small moments that make your life worth living.
