I hope you had amazing new years celebrations, I spend mine frantically writing BoaR, which is an interesting end to a year haha! (I desperataly hope I wont start the new year hunting bugs, but I think this is very likely to happen)

added (I didnt keep track of how much I had before, so no wordcount, but a couple thousand words) the first volery activity with your Nest, part of the time wrap!

I went down the parc asterix rabbit hole because the mascot costumes are scary as hell. Found out for Toutais opening they threw a dance party event with a dj and those things showed up

rereading monster pulse from the start is really fun except there’s this one person in the comments from over a decade ago who just HATESSSSSSS julie. like “She sees nothing further than the end of her own nose. i went to warsaw last year and saw nothing abt boars WHAT 😭😭

i saw boars on the streets myself twice. and there are videos of boars crossing roads or chilling near bushes almost every day. like, boars are just a signature of Warsaw at this point. just don't come close to them lmao.

Today my comic is 4 fricking years old, and I still got a couple of pages left before this story is wrapped up - and I can begin working on the next! :D

I must apologize for not commenting about The Golden Boar, from the same creator of Monster Pulse (a webcomic I started reading a few times but never caught on and continued to the end, and I also apologize for that), but to be honest it took a while to pick up and I didn't feel anything that gave me this urge to comment. Which is not to say it's bad, but it just did't create an itch.

The current, chapter, though, is frankly incredible and it kind of enters in the meat of the comic's lore, that is, that people summon magical forest animals as gijinkas. The funny thing that I had to say about this page in particular (although, to be honest, the last several pages) is that The Boar is teased in the prologue as one half of an "Odd Couple" dynamic, a fact that is only made weirder when summoned beasts are shown later as having the kind of special bond that feels like an obvious metaphor for something a bit higher in the age bracket, but after The Boar shows up as a character he has been turning up to be a good dude. A little intense and too much at times, but overall very much a cool man.

And if you have not yet read this comic and will start now, I hope you have as much fun as I had with the introduction of the Unicorn. Excellent pages, I tell you.

insane blog canon change is that atm because she’s filming eileen selina’s hair is blonde. she has to use a wig for the cat and she doesn’t love it. her natural hair color is a particular shade of gold, though the only people who know it are her very, very closest friends.

she 100% won’t take well to teasing about it and she’s increasingly insecure, but it’s a promise she made to herself when she read the script. in a weird way for her, it’s confronting a big issue she deals with about herself.
