1500s MEN - PART 2

Headwear for men in the Tudor period reflected the billowy silhouette of their clothing. Hats and caps were often soft and folded, and embellished with jewels or medallions to denote social status. Furs hadn't just become popular in clothing, they also migrated to headwear. Like clothing, jewellery and other ornamentation became more and more ostentatious for those who could afford it. Recolors of the Simtimates Kit Silk Robes

I really love this outfit for males or female frames so I recolored them. Also included in the rar file is recolors of the BGC meshes by @sforzcc if you don't have the kit, you must get the meshes. Only download the files you need accordingly.

Do you have any defaults must haves?

ooh, I think it all depends on your own taste as we all enjoy different styles and stuff but for me i've tried a lot of different things and keep going back to the following

lighting mods:

Better in game lighting mod (I use the average base, light rooms one right now I'm defo sticking to it) & Gentle CAS Lighting by @northernsiberiawinds (also the controlled position mod by NSW though its not a default replacement, it makes it so when you're adding face details for ex. that are in the tattoo category your sim doesn't keep spinning around in the other direction!)

No Blu (Darkest) by @luumia

Sunblind lighting mod by @softerhaze

Genetics:

Whisper eyes by @dangerouslyfreejellyfish, I cant stand having any other default eyes for whatever reason i think these are gorgeous

Thuja skinbled default by @nesurii (I use V1)

Armour used to consist of full body chain mail with a simple tunic over top, but come the Renaissance it had evolved into the plated armour we typically associate with medieval knights, and was worn by both army men and nobility.
