Karkat felt like he was dying, the release of all of the pressure inside of him felt incredible. His felt like he was floating as Feferi brought him back down to the floor and he dropped on his side.

His peace began to fade as the world around Karkat grew and his limbs reappeared. He remained looking up at Feferi as his mind’s fog started to clear and he remained lying down. Finally the calm stopped fading, but he could still feel a bit of that blissful fog in him. Karkat stood up and remained facing Feferi.
