A "REVERSE INDIANA JONES" TYPE CATWOMAN... where she robs museums of stolen artifacts and then sells them back to the places they were stolen from (girl's gotta turn a profit after all)... design was absolutely influenced by the fact that I had the lesbian Livin' La Vida Loca cover on loop. Honestly be pretentious as fuck about the stuff you create. Do a press release for your fanfic updates. Do a Q&A about your webcomic. Make fake merch designs for your OCs. Commission "official" book covers. Very few of us will ever get to a stage where something we've created Makes It Big but even if you have an audience of 5 people plus a shoelace fucking indulge yourself and pretend!! It's the only way to live!!

I realised I only have a couple of hours to make this post, in case tomorrow’s episode proves that it has, in fact, been Helena all along. So here it goes:

My theory on the Helly S x Helena mystery

The person inside Lumon right now isn’t Helena. BUT IT WILL BE.

Similarly as occurred in the 2008 sci fi show Fringe, they will deceive us, but will keep it to the moment it causes more pain.

(spoilers for Fringe ahead, even though it's been 12 years...)

On the final episode of s2 of Fringe, Olivia goes to the other universe (Redverse) to bring Peter back to the original universe (Blueverse) and they share their first kiss, after she confesses her feelings for him.

It's truly Olivia here, even though she's wearing Faux!livia hair, that's important.

And after they solve whatever issue there was on Redverse, the gang goes back to Blueverse. Of course, by the end of the episode, we learn that the person who came back is not “our” Olivia, but the evil doppelganger from the Redverse infiltrated, while Blueverse Olivia is trapped (and about to be brainwashed) over there.

On the first episode of the next season, we see Peter and Olivia in an established relationship in the Blueverse.

Early on season 3, Olivia is able to recover her own memories and returns to Blueverse, while Peter figures out he had spent 8 episodes (remember when shows had 20+ episodes? good times) getting cozy with the spy.

So when Olivia finds him again (Faux!livia having return to Redverse), she is hurt not just by the fact that this woman stole her life, but the fact that the guy she loved DIDN'T REALISE HE WAS HOOKING UP WITH THE FAKE HER. Cue one of the most emotional scenes in the history of television:

We didn’t get Faux!livia right away. First we have the cute, emotional moment with the actual Olivia, creating a sense of security that is then quickly torn away.

And here's how it circles back to Severance: I think that, on s02e01, that's Helly. Her slight jealousy when Mark talks about Mrs. Casey, her commentary on the outies. I think all of her awkward behaviour can be explained by a) being ashamed of being an Eagan and b) Lumon has done something to her already before letting her back in with the team. I think that they put her there on the first episode to give everyone a false sense of security, but then in this scene:

And THIS SCENE:

It’s Helena. 

I think Helena will end up being a spy inside Lumon, but they’ll wait to do so when she can cause most harm, using Helly’s feelings for Mark to do so JUST LIKE FRINGE 😃
