With BPD there is no amnesia and also NO alternate personalities. There IS an unstable sense of identity but they are very much not the same thing at all.

yeah i know. he attributes the amnesia to PTSD episodes causing me amnesia of traumatic memories / dissociation in general causing memory issues. He says it’s possible that the “Personalities” i’ve experienced are just facets of my personality I’ve placed names to but after seeing how different Scarlet is it seems like he’s hesitant and is reconsidering. He actually hasn’t seen my alters in depth before today, so it makes sense that he would be reconsidering. I’ll admit that my explanations are lacking and may have led him to the conclusion that they were just facets of my personality, and that my PTSD and dissociation problems may have caused my memory issues (we pointed out that my memory issues come in times of stress and it makes sense for me to dissociate and to forget a lot of it )

No, see, that’s what I thought the first time I watched it, but she’s very definitely in the cell. You see her as the guy is closing the door, there are very clearly 3 ladies in the cell and that’s Min-Jung on the right:

the woman cleaning is wearing the same clothes, but her hair is darker than Min-Jung’s:

so yeah, I am confused

No dreams about him, but he does seem to surface occasionally... it seems like if he actually IS an alter (still totally unsure) that he can’t front fully, or isn’t fully formed.

@blueismywarmestcolour Hello! When I clean my wood items I soak them for 2 nights in a bucket of hot water and vinegar. Then I take them out and rinse them off with hot water in the tub, let dry over night, then put them back in the cage for the ratties to enjoy! I hope this helped. :)

Cleaning the fleece and wood in my boys cage, poor guys were giving me the side eye the whole time.

He was in the middle of telling me something kind of important, he just didn’t want me forgetting it, I think. Plus it was toward the end of the session.

Not nessesarily a DID thing. I dont have DID but ive had dreams where im not myself it could just be a weird dream thing that happens sometimes.

oh i know. i do not think it was DID related, maybe dissociation in general or just weird dream stuff. Didn’t feel DID related this time at all

It could be a mix of both because deoression causes lack of motivation/energy to do things. I honestly think you have both.
