In which PK Academy receives yet another new transfer student mid school year, but this one seems to have the favor of gods on his side, much to the dismay of a certain piss aura'd blueberry girl. Or; in which another one of "God's favorite children" enrolls into PK Academy and gives the ever popular Teruhashi Kokomi a run for her money when his reputation seems to overtake her own.

The exclamations of various students rang throughout the halls, drawing other students from their classes to satiate their curiosity. Girls and boys alike crowded the hallways to see what was so exciting, pushing against and squeezing between one another. But soon enough the crowd parted into two, splitting like the red sea and out of the way for an approaching figure.

A boy; a fellow student judging by his uniform; about sixteen to seventeen years of age. He was tall, maybe around 6'⁴ or 6'⁵, with an average build. His silky h/c hair bounced and swayed in time with his steps as he walked down the hall while his sharp e/c eyes scanned the faces of the staring students. The most notable thing about him however was his handsome face, and in the eyes of a certain psychic, a grand luminescent aura that radiated from him. This boy was, in all observations, an ikemen.

Among the crowd stood a narcissistic certain blue haired girl. Her perfect brows furrowed as she hadn't heard a single person acknowledge her presence since the handsome stranger showed up. No one had even spared her a glance nor even a simple hello, not to mention hadn't heard single 'oh wow!'. Teruhashi was in shock, how could this one boy pull everyone's attention away from her in just a matter of seconds!?

How could she be the perfect pretty girl if noone even noticed that she was among them. So to fix this atrocity, she decided to speak up. She shimmied her way out of the crowd and snuck over to the end of the hallway and around the corner. The bluenette then turned back around and rounded the corner again, making it look like she had just come upon the scene. Quietly clearing her throat, she rose her voice slightly so that she could be heard over the exited murmurs of her peers.

"Hello everyone, what's going on?"

Teruhashi's angelic voice cut through the commotion, causing all eyes to turn to her.

"Oh!"

"It's Teruhashi–san!

"Oh wow!"

"She's so pretty!"

"O‐Oh, hey Teruhashi-sama. Check out the new guy."

Meekly greeted the flustered Toritsuka, who had somehow torn his eyes from the handsome stranger. He seemed embarrassed of himself to even look at the blue haired girl, let alone to have spoken to her as he just did. For a boy like him, a girl like her was for from his reach and even farther from owing him even a simple glance. In the case of Toritsuka Reita, a boy like him simply couldn't help but long for attention from a girl like her... but that thought can be explored another time.

"New guy? So he's a new student? Nice to meet you I'm Teruhashi Kokomi."

The blueberry headed girl turned towards the h/c-ette and introduced herself, still behaving as if she had no clue of the situation. Their two auras of shimmering gold and sparkling silver clash as she does so. The handsome boy raises a brow at her in disbelief of her words, he chuckles in amusement as he takes her hand his.

"[Surname] [Name] nice to meet you Teruhashi‐san. If I may ask; why did you leave earlier and come back just now?"

The now named [Name] asks Teruhashi with an amused expression. His question caught the attention of the other students and they begin whispering.

"Eh? Teruhashi‐sama was already here?"

"She left and came back?"

"...she was probably trying to calm everyone down..."

"No way. She could've just done that here."

"She was probably just trying to get [Surname]-san to acknowledge her..."

"...I mean Teruhashi-san is an attention seaker..."

"Right?"

The bluenette hid her frustration at [Name]'s question behind a timid smile. Putting her hands together in front of her she began twiddling her thumbs and shifting in place; Putting on her best shy girl act. She began to make an excuse for herself and save her chipped reputation.

"A‐Ah! It's not like that, I was only trying to—!"

"I'm Hairo Kineshi! Nice to meet you [Surname]-san!"

"What's up man, I'm Nendou and this right here is my pal!"

'Saiki Kusuo'

"I am 'The Jet-Black Wings', protector of all mortals present and I shall defend you from the evil organization 'The Dark Reunion'! You may call me by my human Alias Kaidou Shun!"

"O-oh! Hey! I'm Toritsuka Reita! Wanna know your guardian spirit [Surname]-san?"

The five boys, counting one Saiki Kusuo since he was dragged in against his will, interrupt Teruhashi and practically ran her over to get to the h/c-ette. They crowd him, each introducing themselves and trying for his attention and the chance to befriend him, barring Saiki of course.

"Hey [Name], me and my pal were gonna go get ramen after school! Wanna come?"

Nendou asks the handsome boy, improperly calling him by his first name as he slings a heavy arm over his shoulder. Kaidou, trying to gain leverage, scolds the mohawked teen about his lack of manners, getting only a brain dead look from him.

"It's nice to meet you all! Say, is it possible for you to lead me to the lunch room? If you don’t mind, I'd like to sit with you as well. Oh and I'd love to go get ramen with you!"

The e/c eyed teen beams at the boys before him making all but one of the students in the hall have the same thought go through their head:

'Oh my!'

What if the multiverse is one big lie and was just a made up story by a bunch of childrens? Seems like a stretch but think about it, children have such wild Imagination and most of their stories come up of ethereal beings, magics, god just fantasy on an another level. This multiverse is specifically just a story made up by childrens, well child version's of the Main characters of course, the side characters are mostly just distant relatives, friends or just made up character that doesn't show up often. Child of chaos

Error sans as a kid! Ink was excited, after decades of boredom the destroyer was fated to be created soon and he knows it! finally an enemy and entertainment! but when Ink realized that his enemy was a kid he wasn't sure anymore. The child destroyer was probably from one of those child ver. of aftertale that had played around with dt and no clip through reality and get thrown in the anti void, just like any other Error. Ink decided to just adopt him, it's kinda unfair to be fighting with a kid y'know? (Similar to G!Ink and G!Error story)

Surprise you're adopted!

Ink was supposed to be soulless but what if Ink, the creator was born a god with no world? he has a soul, he has feelings, he only needs his paints to strengthen himself when he's low on magic or for emergencies. at first he created so many worlds, so many possibilities but as decades came by he soon grew bored. When the multiverse reached their limit and the god of destruction came to destroy a couple of worlds he didn't bother saving any of it. He knows it's the other god's job and didn't wanna make the other's life hell. He doesn't play hero, he doesn't show up either, only core knows he exist and promised not to tell anybody. he doesn't even show up to the infamous destroyer. when dreamtale came that's when he intervened, maybe it's because unlike him and Error, they were just guardians and kids, they have a childhood, they could have a proper childhood. so what did he do? nothing, because he can't, Dreamtale isn't his, he can do nothing about it, but he can intervene once it's script was all finished, when Nightmare finally got corrupted and Dream became stone he took the stone child to his doodle sphere and set to capture the corrupted monster child while the kid is still in stone. It took decades but when Nightmare stopped being an insane idiot running around ruining timelines he was surprised adopted by Ink, Dream came out of stone yadda yadda yadda it's all good, they slowly became brother's again, btw Error's an uncle now and somehow the supposed gang became baby sitters.

An alternate version of 'Surprise you're adopted'. Ink born god of creation was a cheerful and energetic creator decades ago, creating different worlds, the destroyer came when the multiverse reached it's limit due to an accident of creative spree, Ink didn't intervene and decided to befriend the destroyer, it was rough at first and rather violent but slowly but surely they became best friends (Error would never admit it).

Prince of darkness

After the corruption in which Nightmare regains sanity he wanders in the multiverse, he's as tall as a regular sans and grumpy most of the time, he's more like a teenager trying to act cool and scary. he finds his 'gang' along the way in which they know he's the youngest out of all of them and decided to spoil the crap out of him.

Just reminded of why I love Blue/Swap so much!! It was a short list of how Blue joined the bad sans and made the entire crew even better, very cute :33

Anyways, the reason I love Blue is because he's just like me frfr!! (They all are but let me get into why Blue is just like me frfr) so essentially, Blue is extremely strong and smart, especially if considering the fact everyone things he is below average in both regards (think he's stupid bc he's cute & happy, think he's weak bc he's a mortal) and he has HELLA CONNECTIONS, like he can glare and manipulate Error into compliance, is friends with Fresh (who would gladly annoy others or make people disappear on command) and even knows Reaper personally, which is usually good enough if you want him to turn a blind eye to any chaos caused.

Like, imagine a cute little guy, biologically cute, and they are smart enough to not only hide their emotions effectively, but also know the right people to get anything he wants, and charismatic enough that he can meet and be friends with new people to get whatever he wants, and he can also effectively take so much damage and abuse that would typically cripple someone, but he stands back up and throws another punch instead, like thats scary!!

Especially love Nightberry because it starts out with Blue being underestimated heavily, and then slowly learns Blue is an absolute badass, and gets along with all of his children fantastically!! Like Blue participates in hobbies and spars, and listens to his kids, and not even Nightmare can be such a good father to the murder trio!!

(Also I headcanon that there is a child named Blueberry who was saved by Blue and tries to impersonate him as a way to cope with trauma, but thats unimportant to my ship with NM and likely wouldn't exist if Blue got with NM)

Thoughts on canon and fanon Blue?

Okay let me start off with this

AUUUYGHHHHHHRRRFHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHH RAHHHHHHHHH

Now my actual thoughts are....I don't really care, they both have their strengths and weaknesses but both of them are used to tear the other down. Not only that but purity culture is pathetic so when "Blueberry" is made to be Aroace because "He's such a cute and sweet childlike bean!"

It's grosser than the fact that you think of him as "childlike" like adults don't love puzzles, colors, and keep stuffed animals. Not only are you making it out to seem like it's bad to enjoy "childish" things as an adult but that wanting joy means that you haven't grown up which is :[

I feel like Blueberry is a wonderful way to explore different aspects of adulthood and how it affects people differently. Childlike wonderment and joy shouldn't be limited to just your childhood, and some children are just forced to grow up fast but then that leaves them wanting the things they should have had during their childhood years. However this part of storytelling for Blueberry isn't EVER SEEN BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING OVER ECHO CHAMBER THOUGHTS????

Not only that but the MOMENT someone EVER headcannons something and it becomes popular it becomes "fanon" which??? SO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO WRITE THE CHARACTERS BASED ON HEADCANNONS MADE FUCKIN FOREVER AGO???

Like okay, example the food thing where each Sans was given a favorite condiment, and the swap versions were different dishes. This was okay but like...what do you mean Blueberry's defining traits are that he loves tacos and wants what's best for everyone....like are you sure you don't want anything else? Please. Please oh my God please.

It's like when people make Papyrus' traits "love spaghetti and the guard" and NOTHING ELSE. Even though he loves collecting action figures, studying puzzles, making costumes, building, and he is a very caring person but is only ever used as a plot point in fics??? Like when something needs to go wrong he's there, or when something needs to go right he's there. It's not written in naturally and thus has also affected the way people write Blueberry.

When something needs to go right or wrong Blueberry is there but oh no! He's too sweet and kind to want anything EVER and only wants what's best for you but it's never in a cool manipulative way? Fics that make him a bit of an ass are a breath of fresh air.

I think people forget that he's Sans too a lot. And I think he should be more quick witted and smart mouthed. He should keep his love of puns and ketchup, he should also keep his smarts. Like puzzle wise he's actually really good and puts a lot of effort into it but he's not really good at the science aspect of smart. It's like people forget that you can still keep these traits and "swap" him.

I have SO MUCH MORE to say but the basic fundamentals are this.

People need to stop holding onto the past version of Blueberry but also not tear down the past version as much as they do. You can give him different traits and he'd still be "Sans", making him less of a "Papyrus" would be helpful. Have fun with new ideas and possibly explore the idea of having different types of childhood and how that affects a person as an adult. Liking childish things doesn't mean someone is an innocent person, but that they find comfort in those things and nothing more. Growing up happens, and it's apart of life and it's hard to come to terms with sometimes.

To have him stay a flat character with no possiblity of change is a waste of potential and people have the right to do more. Overall, do what you think is most fun when it comes to story telling but don't forget that he's a character who needs devolvement just like any other "Sans"

Personality:

He's cheerful, funny and lively, the most cheerful of his siblings and family. He's more cheerful than his 2 older brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke. He's often the one who livened up the house and his Okonomiyaki restaurant. He like to make his family and everyone always smile, laugh and happy (it's main reason make Mint Pearl fall in love him).

He's friendly and outgoing, he likes to approach everyone. As a chef and Okonomiyaki restaurant owner, he sees many customers come into the restaurant and talk to him, so he's not afraid to talk to everyone, even if they're foreigners or gems.

He's a energetic, he doesn't act so slow when he's working. But when he gets a day off, he likes to do outdoor activities or travel to other cities. But when he's at home, he likes to do something to relieve his boredom. However, when he gets a break from work, he will relax and enjoy to fun in everything as much as he does when he's working.

He's quite a responsible and diligent. Especially, after he graduated and started working as a chef as the next owner of a Okonomiyaki restaurant after his father.

He's optimistic and always has a positive energy. Although, he has been through many things in his life, such as being unsuccessful in love and such as being unsuccessful in love or being discouraged in life, because he's an optimistic and with the encouragement of his family and siblings, he always has hope. He always believe that good things will come to him and find someone one day (Before he met Mint Pearl).

He still has a playful and youthful side, although he's middle-aged. He refuses to act like other boring middle-aged men. Which makes him know how to approach children and teenagers quite well. Especially when he's with his little nieces, Emiko and his teenager nephews, Tetsuya. He likes to act like a lovely uncle to Emiko, and a cool uncle to Tetsuya.

He love and care his family much. He could have chosen to work in a better and more comfortable job in another city like his 2 brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke. But, he chose to continue living in Osaka. Because, he was worried about his parents and didn't want them to feel lonely if he went to work far away from them. He chose to work as a chef and Okanomiyaki restaurant owner, so that he could be close to his parents and continue his father's restaurant business. Also, he love and respect his grandmother much. He often likes to talk to his grandmother.

He's very close to his 2 older brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke. As the youngest brother, his older brothers love him very much. He loves spending time with his older brothers, since he was a kid until he grew up. He often calls his 2 older brothers to ask after about their life in everyday.

He was just as close to his cousin, Simon as his 2 brothers. Since Simon was in America, he liked to ask about America. Which made him want to come to America one day (at that time).

He loves cycling, which is his favorite hobby. He likes to use his bike to go to work, go market, and ride around the neighborhood when he gets bored.

He loves reading manga and watching anime, which has been one of his favorite hobbies since he was a kid. Manga and anime are a way for him to relax from work or just chill at home. He loves anime so much that he learned himself how to draw it (He likes to draw, but because he's busy with work, he doesn't have much chance to draw).

He like to playing video game, it's one of his favorite hobbies and a way to relax from work, besides reading manga and watching anime.

He's quite knowledgeable about bugs. Since he like ฺbugs and used to catch them as a child, he like to study about them. His favorite bugs are beetles, especially Rhinoceros Beetle. He used to raise Rhinoceros Beetle, when he was a kid. He still keeps his insect catching equipment until now.

He like cooking and has some cooking skills, especially in making okonomiyaki, which is his best skill. Also, he can also cook many other dishes.

Okonomiyaki is his most fav. food. Because of Okonomiyaki, he wanted to continue his father's okomiyaki restaurant business.

Backstory

Ryota Nakamura is Ichiro and Keisuke's youngest brother. He's Okonomiyaki Chef and Okonomiyaki Restaurant Owner with father. He was born and raised in Osaka.

When Ryota was a kid, he had been helping his father in the restaurant a little, just like his 2 older brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke. Because, he had worked with his father since he was a child. Make him see and start learning how to work in his father's restaurant and making Okonomiyaki. But because he's still kid, his father just wanted him to study hard like his 2 older brothers.

Years later, Ryota was a teenager in high school. He saw that his 2 brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke had moved to work in another city. At that moment, he felt lonely. Because, he and his 2 brothers were always together and spending time together. The house he lived in, which was once lively, became lonely. He's the only one who still lives with his parents and grandmother.

During his high school years, Ryota had crush on one girl. Until once day, he confess what he feel to her. But she said him, she will go to university in America after graduating from high school. That moment, his heart was broken, but he understand her reason. After he graduated from high school, he never saw that girl again.

Later, Ryota studied at the university in Osaka. After he graduated from university, he was the only one who still lived with his parents and grandmother. While his 2 older brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke had gone to work in another city. He didn't want to work somewhere far away from his family by himself. So, he decided to help his father work in the Okonomiyaki restaurant.

Although, his father wanted Ryota to have a good job as his 2 brothers. But, Ryota had already decided that he would continue his father's Okonomiyaki restaurant business, after seeing his father working in the restaurant alone. Plus, he had been working in the restaurant with his father for a long time, which made him very attached to this restaurant since he was a kid until he graduated. He had enough experience to help his father with the restaurant. Since then, he has worked as a Okonomiyaki chef helping his father in a restaurant.

Over the years, Ryota has gained more experience working in Okonomiyaki restaurants, both as a chef and as a restaurant owner like his father. He has become more mature, hard-working and responsible. But he's still the same cheerful, optimistic, energetic and friendly  his parents saw when he was a kid, no matter what he has been through in his life. Although, he sometimes feels a little lonely whenever he sees couples coming into his restaurant. Deep down, he wants someone to be by his side like his 2 older brothers. But because he's an optimistic, he still hopes to meet that person one day.

Until once day, At that time, it was 1 month before Keisuke and his 2 child, Tetsuya and Emiko go to America. Keisuke tell his parents and Ryota about that he has plan go to America with his friend, Haruki. Few hours later, Ryota call his older brother, Ichiro about Keisuke go to America. Ichiro already knew about this, because he had called him earlier. Then, Ichiro planned to go to America to find Keisuke, and Ichiro invited him to go with him. At first, Ryota didn't expect this and he wasn't sure if he should go, because he was busy with his Okonomiyaki restaurant.

Few days later, Ryota consulted his parents about going to America with his brother, Ichiro which he wasn't sure if he should do. Because, he was worried that his father would have to work in the restaurant alone while he was traveling. However, his father told him that he wanted him to go out and see the world. As for the restaurant that he was worried about, his father was still in good health and had worked alone for a long time before he came to help, so he was used to it. He felt more comfortable hearing his father say that. Which, he realized that he did not go out much unless it was a restaurant holiday. Plus, he has savings set aside for travel, and he has enough to travel abroad.

1 day later, Ryota called his brother, Ichiro back to say that he decided to go to America with him. Ichiro had the idea of ​​staying overnight at their cousin's house in America. Which, he knew well because his cousin, Simon live in America with his father. He visited them every year with his father. After that day, he started preparing everything to go to America in 1 month.

1 month later, Keisuke he traveled to America with his 2 child, Tetsuya and Emiko, and his friend, Haruki. At that time, the day would come when Ryota and his older brother, Ichiro would travel to America in a few days. It was the time when Ichiro returned home to Osaka with his luggage to pick him up, and he had also prepared his luggage.

The next day, Ryota and his brother, Ichiro left home early in the morning to go to the airport and travel to America. That was their first time in America.

Hours later, Ryota and Ichiro arrive to America and they meet their cousin, Simon at airport. Later, he and Ichiro came to stay overnight at Simon's house.

He and Ichiro told Simon that Keisuke and his 2 child had come to America before them when few days ago, and was staying at Haruki's friend house is Richard. Simon knew Richard, because they were his neighbor and friends for years. Later, Simon take he and Ichiro to Richard's house to meet Keisuke. At that moment after Keisuke is shock. Because, he can't believe and don't expect about this. But, Keisuke glad to meet them. Also he and Ichiro became friend Richard

Then later, Ryota and his brother, Ichiro explained their reasons for coming to America and others to Keisuke and Richard. While talking, Ryota noticed that Keisuke seemed happier than usual, like he in love. He ask Keisuke about that. But first, Keisuke don't want tell them. But, he and Ichiro don't stop looks and smile, when they see Keisuke blush than before. Then Keisuke told them, that he fall in love girl at Beach City. At that moment, he, Ichiro and Simon are surprised and want to know about that girl. At the same time, Keisuke told them that he would go to Beach City again tomorrow.

Later day, Ryota and his 2 brother, Ichiro and Keisuke with his 2 child go to went to Beach City, driven by his cousin, Simon (Simon knew Beach City and had been to the city a few years before by his friend, Richard). He and Ichiro arrive to Beach City, they see many gems lives in this city. They surprise what they see (it was beginning they know about gem). Then, Keisuke introduce Coral Pearl (Sango) to he and Ichiro. That moment, they can't believe and don't expect Keisuke fall in love with gem. But they glad, Keisuke met his new love after he lost his wife when years ago.

Later, Ryota waited alone on the beach, while his 2 brothers, Ichiro and Keisuke went to a Big Donut to buy donuts. While he waited, he bought some Fry Bits at Beach Citywalk Frieds. Meanwhile, he asked Mr. Fryman about many gems who came to live in this city and talked about other things. Since, he was someone who worked in the food business as a chef and owner like Mr. Fryman, he understood him, and they became fast friends.

After Ryota bought Fry Bits, he returned to the bench as usual. He wondered why his  2 brothers took so long to buy donuts, but he didn't think much of it and sat down to eat while waiting for them. As he sat there waiting for a while, he realize someone was watching him. When he turned around, he saw Mint Pearl (at that time, he don't know her) standing there looking at him innocently. At that moment, he was a little shocked. He saw her blushed slightly as if she liked him. Plus, he admitted that she was a cute girl in his thought, which made him start to be interested in her.

When we got back home a few hours later, I only asked that Peter tuck me into bed.

“I just want to sleep, my love,” I had explained in a weary voice. His only response was to mutely kiss my temple and do as I had asked.

I didn’t get up out of bed except to use the bathroom, and even that was a chore. I just felt so emotionally depressed, like nothing in the world would ever make my sad little heart smile ever again.

My mommy senses told me that the family had begun engaging in various forms of grieving. Elizabeth was writing songs and playing her mother’s harp. Katie crafted in my workroom and coded, a new pastime of hers. Peter worked in the backyard on building something. Isabelle studied day in and night out. The babies kept me company as I graduated from the bed to the kitchen, where I poured my grief out by baking bread.

Cinnamon bread.

Blueberry yogurt bread.

Honey oatmeal bread.

San Francisco sourdough bread.

At night, we would all lump together in the master bedroom, the babies in their bedside cradled on my husband’s side and the girls in between Peter and I.

Mittens and Primrose stayed within easy reach of me, the cat and skunklet both clearly worried about me. Mittens would sit on my lap and purr loudly and Primrose would take naps on my chest. The two pets were clearly worried about the family and would flit in between family members.

Daisy stuck close by Elizabeth, always the loyal canine member of the family, spending most of her time with the girl in her bedroom as she plucked at her mommy’s harp.

Peter and I haven’t had any private time to talk about what we would do next. I really wanted to get pregnant again, but I didn’t know if my husband as ready to get me pregnant again.

He had casually mentioned to me in passing a few months ago that he had started a college fund for Baby Violet Marie and by the time of her passing, he had stocked away a little over seven hundred dollars. He had to go down to the bank to close down the account and told me that he donated the money to The Foundation for Grieving Children, a charity dedicated to increasing, sustaining and expanding the resources available to grieving children throughout the United States and beyond, assist families in locating services in their communities, create awareness of the challenges of grieving children, and educate parents, other family members, society and the professional communities to their needs, according to their website.

My physical wounds from the trauma of giving birth to Baby Violet Marie healed, and pretty quickly, it was the day before Christmas Eve. I had mutely made the kids Christmas jumpers, but didn’t really put a big effort into the holiday otherwise. My soulmate on the other hand, chopped down a pine tree from the property, dragged it inside and decorated it with the decorations from the basement.

I had come downstairs on December third and found that the house has been transformed into a Christmas at Hogwarts winter wonderland. The Hogwarts Express choo choo train chugged along underneath the tree, which was decorated with whimsical, trinkety props from the movies and books. House stockings were hung to the side of the fireplace and a Sorting Hat tree topper topped the Christmas tree.

In the meantime, Aaron and James had swung by to pick up little girl- Aaron looked tanner and James looked fatter. Little girl had been so overjoyed to see them, babbling away happily in her Pepe Bear’s arms while Aaron came in to thank the family profoundly for caring for her, in between James’ great grandmother’s funeral and a serious outbreak of Covid among the family that resulted in everyone being quarantined for weeks at a time.

“Thanks a lot, and oh- before I forget-” Aaron settled a box packed with wrapped presents under the tree. “Gifts from France!”

“Yay yay!” cheered Baby Tommy, galloping into the room with his dollie tucked in tight to his chest. “Yay yay!” He skidded to a stop right in front of Aaron and exposed his chubby tummy, something that he’d taken to doing as of lately whenever he wanted tickles.

I smiled at all the hustle and bustle that was happening- tomorrow would be Christmas Eve, and although I hadn’t really done anything for the holiday season, it was evident that Peter was trying to carry on as normal- and I just did not know how to respond to that.

I knew that this Christmas would be different, as how a beloved member of the Ratajczyk family wasn’t here to celebrate, and so I had the feeling that this holiday would be different- more forlorn and weepy, in a sense of the emotions.

But I knew that the rest of the family- Peter, Elizabeth, Elle, Katie, Jing, Isabelle, Baby Tommy and little girl- yearned for some normality right now, a chance to just forget the trauma of Baby Violet Marie passing so suddenly unexpected, and I would always smile at my husband for attempting this with our motley family.
