I just think Fjord and Jester should hold hands as they travel through Aeor, and I have made a list of some of the many benefits to them hand holding:

its cute

keeps hands warmer

helps Fjord know that Jester does actually like him back

can squeeze each other’s hand for comfort or a subtle way to get their attention

keeps them close to each other

Aeor may suck but holding hands makes it a little better

it will make them happy

its super cute

also on one episode of campaign 1 when they weren’t paying attention I think Travis kissed Laura’s hand as he was holding it and it was very sweet and no I don’t remember what episode it was

“I got everything, Dad! Ready to go!” Charlie states, adjusting his little captain’s hat and tightening the straps of his backpack.

Marina pats her wooden sword at her hip, and the pouches on the other side of her belt. “Ready, Captain Dad!”

“I’m good! Can we go now please? Please? I wanna go!” Joy asks, and her backpack shakes and she wiggles in excitement. 

“Alright, alright! Hold hands, everyone.” Artagan answers with a laugh, gesturing for them all to come close.

With a nod towards Beau, the two of them slip out of the studio. He leads her through the streets of Nicodranas, but it’s only a short walk to the destination he has in mind. As soon as Jester realizes where he’s leading her, she laughs, and the two of them climb up the Nicodranas water tower.

It’s a beautiful, clear night, and they sit in the exact same position they did all those years ago.

“It’s been so long since we were up here.” Jester says, wistfully.

Fjord nods. “Yeah, it’s been awhile. How many years has it been?”

They both stare off, mentally counting. “There’s no way it’s been ten years.” Fjord says finally, with a tone of disbelief and partial disgust at the movement of time.

“I think it has.”

“Holy shit.” Fjord mutters, followed by Jester’s quiet, “fuck.”
