idk why they're trying to recruit mary ann when oisin is CLEARLY having issues with his party's attitude towards the bad kids in general- he tried to talk his party down before apologizing to adaine for their behavior.

i'm not saying they should take advantage of his crush on adaine- i can see fig suggesting disguising herself as adaine and trying to flirt information out of him and i think that's a terrible thing to do to someone- i'm just saying that he seems far and away the better choice if they're looking for a positive connection to the rat grinders.

Out of all the Blue Lockers, Chigiri is probably the only one who would choose you over football. It's not unknown to anybody who looks close enough that even people like Nanase or Isagi would toss aside someone if it came to their dream. That's simply the nature of Egoists and those that persist in Blue Lock. Even if they are kind and generous off the field, nothing will ever take the place of their dream. Yet Chigiri with all his boldness, confidence and outright selfishness can take one look at all of that and still choose you at the end of it. He's seen what it's like to lose his dream, lose his passion. He knows intimately what it's like to lose everything and be left a husk. Yet in the face of that, he has learned a lot. He's learned that even if he loses his dream, he is still loved regardless and he can always find other ways to nurture his dream. He's learned there are other paths if it truly comes down to it. Football means a lot to him but he is willing to sacrifice it if he has to. After all, he already has a time limit, right?

shoutout to taigen for being the most expressive character in the entire show.

you will never not know whatever the hell he is feeling or thinking at the moment because he will literally tell you (either very earnestly like when he traumadumps to mizu or very sarcastically which is the other 99% of the time he talks to mizu) or you will see it plain as day on his face.

this is the textbook definition of a man wearing his heart on his sleeve. look in the dictionary for what a "simple man" means and you will find taigen's face there.

like once you cut through the massive ego and pompousness he uses to mask his own insecurities and traumas, he is literally just some guy. he's not evil or stupid. not super kind or super smart either. an asshole but not the worst there is. he's incredibly skilled but he's not the strongest ever or even the most skilled. he is literally! just a guy!

y'all can hate him all you want but let's be real, taigen is actually the most relatable character out of everyone. like this man is POOR, he is PATHETIC, he is COMPLAINING ALL THE TIME, and most of all he is OBSESSED WITH MIZU. if that shit ain't relatable idk what is.

Btw I know Mizu learned cool skills from observing and watching, but I sense Chekhov's gun (like, literally) so it's highly possible Fowler'll be the one who teach her how to shoot.
