I think Fletcher's love story has the best romantic dialog I've ever written.

"I could never forget your face. I knew there was something magical there from the moment I saw ye in the ice, even if I didnae understand why yet. I thought I'd found an angel there. Even if that's the last I saw of you, I could ne'er forget."

"Hold me closer, if ye cannae see me, then feel me."

"I'll be your eyes for as long as you need them, longer than that even. I'll be your eyes until I close mine for the very last time."

"I already got my happy ending, and everything I could ever ask for, but I still wish you could stay by my side a wee bit longer."

"I kept my promise, same as every promise I ever made to ye."

"There's only one thing in this world that can drive a man that far, and it's not gold or glory." (Lily, first piecing together that Fletcher is in love)

I think I'm pretty good at writing love stories but I don't always have super strong prose. Fletcher has all the best quotable romantic lines.

I also like the tragic B-plot romance I wrote between Simon and Lily. Some of my finest love story writing. Like:

"Perhaps I'm too swayed by stories, especially when stories are all someone has."

"I failed in my duty, and I failed in my love. I could only turn away. My tears fell into the sea and faded into the tides."

"Though he was blind, he saw me as the most beautiful thing in the world. I fell in love with that lonely sailor."

"He admired me, something that no one has felt for me before. I've only ever been desired, and only for so long I was enchanting them with my song. But he fell in love with nothing but my words."

hello!! am back for this art drop. had to relax after what happened here in the states. to distract myself and get ready for the final episode drop, I drew my listener for the series!!

she’s Zephyr! Outfit and Character are inspired off of the Mycenaean Greek period! I don’t think i mentioned this but when i make an oc/listener, i love to take a culture from anywhere and think on how can i make this a character?

The many fantastical ships of Blue Infinity.

Gaia's Mercy

Captain Carmichael's lumber ship. It's huge and slow, built like an unusual schooner. It has three masts, but is large enough to accommodate four. Where a fourth mast would be in the rear, there is a stout wooden windmill with white blades. It isn't painted, and instead has the rich brown color of varnished wood. At it's bow there is a figurehead of a woman with her arms outstretched, carved from a solid log. There are still branches and bark on the log, making the woman in the headpiece appear to be emerging from a tree.

Persephone's Bleeding Heart

Captain Blind Simon's flagship. A Man O' War with three masts. With the wind always on it's side, it has no need for specialized rigging. It's rigged with broad, rectangular main sails with no need for triangular sails. It's sails have a drab yellowish color and it's hull is painted black with a greyish-blue stripe near the top. Its figurehead is a painted wooden sculpture of Persephone. Her eyes look tearfully up to the heavens as she plunges a dagger into her heart with both her hands. Red paint drips from the dagger down her white and yellow dress. The black flag of Blind Simon flies at its stern and crow's nest. The flag bears an image of a blindfolded skull, with embroidered text reading "WOE BE IT TO ALL THEE WHO SAIL BENEATH THE EYE OF BLIND SIMON".

The Chariot of the Furies

A mid-sized Brigantine ship with two low masts. It's hull has been repaired with wood and other material scavenged from wrecks, with certain planks of wood appearing discolored and some sections of railing being of mis-matched shapes. Some sections of the railing have been removed to make room for deck-mounted canons. It's sails vary in color from white to beige, with patches across the main sail. Despite its cobbled together appearance, it is sturdy and reliable. In place of a figurehead, it has an additional canon at the bow. It's name is crudely painted at the stern in white paint.
