It was all off; you two finally could have the life both of you dreamed of. There would be no backlash whenever you were with him due to his reputation. It was supposed to be what you two desired; why then? Why is it that you are on a large kline alone in the middle of the night? The moment you sat up, your drapes slowly slipped off your shoulders. Winter was about to end, yet it was still chilly, especially up in Olympus. There was an open balcony right in front of the kline, so the air easily entered the chamber. The curtains around the kline were swaying with the chilly night breeze; it was obvious you were cold.
“Heron?” Soft—that was all you could really describe your voice as you called his name. You glanced around the dark chambers, but no one. Not a single soul. Heron was gone; he was still very injured from the battle against the giants. Your mind was filled with worried thoughts. Quickly, your legs scooched off the kline and you walked over to the balcony. The breeze hit you hard, and all your body could do was shiver from the temperature. Your eyes danced around the view. Olympus was nothing but breathtaking, despite the clear damage caused by the battle. No sight, though, could stop the worries. “Heron?”
There were no signs of him; he wasn’t on Olympus, and nothing you could see led your eyes to him. You did not stop looking around, glancing back and forth, focusing on the smallest of things your eyes could catch. Nothing, then, in a distance out in the battle field, lightning struck. You gasped, as there was no cloud in the sky before; it was a clear night. Your hands rose up, your fingertips slightly grazing your bottom lip. There, your eyes finally focused on a white horse with wings soaring through the sky and towards your chambers; on top of it was Heron.
“Heron…” You let out shock; he was the one who caused the lightning strike; it was him all along. You leaned onto the balcony, your hands removing from your lips to hold onto the ledge. You tried to get a better look, but he was still so far from you until he finally reached the ledge and hopped off the horse. He looked down at you; he didn’t look happy to see you. “Heron, where have you been? I was worried.”
“Do not worry about it.” He said that and walked past you; he seemed tense, and you could tell he was on the battle field. His white chiton was ruined by dirt. You reached for his hand and gripped his wrist, your drapes slipping off once more. You shrugged your shoulders, attempting to fix the drapes on your shoulders.
“Heron, do not lie to me. Talk to me.” Begging—you were begging; it was pathetic. In your head, you would never beg, but for him, you would beg him. You two were about to finally have the life you two dreamed of—the one you two would wish for under the stars back in the polis.
“It is my business.” He pulled his hand away from you and glared. You froze from under his gaze; it was as if there was a sense of hatred behind them—was it for you or was it for something else?
“It is our business; you chose to love me. To have me for the rest of your life, talk to me.” His eyes suddenly turned from hatred to weakness. He raised his hands from his sides and placed them through his hair. He pulled at it and groaned. He began to pace and back forth, and there you could tell something was eating inside him.
“The gods…” He paused and turned to you, grabbed at your shoulders, and looked down at you. “The gods use us; Seraphim was right. All they do is use us as pawns for their games; we are the ones who suffer. I killed Seraphim; he could have been saved. Do you understand that we were made from the start to be enemies? We were destined to do this. We are pawns.” He looked like he was distressed; he placed his forehead on yours and just sighed. “What am I for?” He found himself repeating those words over and over.
“You are Heron. Not just a pawn; you can change it. We can leave. We do not need Olympus, nor the gods.” He raised his head from your forehead, his blue eyes staring down at you. He fixed your hair and nodded. “What happened to you and Seraphim should have never happened. Hera used him; Hera made him kill your mother.”
“We will leave after the funeral games. We will leave; I will not let them use us as pawns anymore.” It was like a change; he finally decided what he had to do. He could not be here any longer, and you could see it; the deaths of all his family members had just changed him. He wasn’t the same boy back in the polis.
“Heron, we can do this.” There was silence—pure silence—no sounds other than the breeze rushing into the chambers, causing your body to once again shiver. His hands pulled you in closer, and he leaned down. What changed? It was because you were there for him more than anyone in his life. It was you; there was no one else. He finally pressed himself against you. The kiss was not full of lust; it was attentive and filled with his emotions. He desired a moment with you; he finally got it; he couldn’t lose you. You could feel his longing in his lips; he dared not pull away.
“I cannot lose you.”
“Never, you could never lose me. I refuse to die.” He looked at you, his eyes resembling the beautiful blue of lightning. He pulled you down onto the beautiful wool rug, woven with perfection. The scene on the rug looked as if it were moving. He had you on top of him, and his hands shifted your drapes off of you. He moved you to his side; in front of him, he wanted you here on the floor, not the kline.
“May I?” You nodded, and there his hands grazed your drapes and lifted them up. He gripped your soft thighs and raised your right leg to go over his own leg. Your back rested on his arm while that hand grabbed your breast. His lips kissed your neck. It was an intimate position; you two were intertwined to be one. His hands massaged at your breast, and your head was pushed back to the floor, giving him the best access to your neck. He used his free hand that was not under you to shift his cock out of his chiton. “We can finally have each other.” It was wrong; it was out of wedlock, but you two did not care.
His hand that stroked at his cock shifted it to your pussy; he rubbed at your clit getting you wet and ready for him. This was not your first time; you two were young and in love. In the polis you two used the forest to just love each other. It was wrong, and if anyone found out, he would have been beaten or, worse, killed. His lips continued to stay attached to your neck, and the soft sounds of pleasure came from you.
“I am sorry.” He whispered beside your ear and shoved himself slowly into you, your head raised in pleasure, then laid back down. His thrust was slow, but compared to anything, he was filled with love. He was filled with a desire to not lose you. He had lost so many, and you were not going to end up like the rest. Your life was all he needed to protect. His leg was in between your two legs while his cock went in and slightly went out, but not fully. He was always in you, no matter if he was thrusting in or out.
You felt your body press against his chest and the rug; you two felt immense pleasure together. He was doing it to relish in your body; all he needed was you. His life had changed overnight, and you were the only constant. Many would have desired to feel each other's bodies on a kline you two only needed the floor. His strong, callused hands massaged at your breast, and his thighs burned each time he thrust up into your sopping wet hole. He treated your body like a temple, not daring to ruin it with his own touch. It was full of care; his lips were still attached to your neck, and when you moved your head to look at him,.
“Together till the end.” You gasped out, feeling him thrust back up your right leg, still over his leg that was between you, which allowed him to thrust into you comfortably. You raised a singular hand, grabbing at his neck, and pressed your lips once more into a deeper kiss. He suddenly felt himself tear up the moment your lips were moving against his. You realized it and began to wipe away his tears while he continued to thrust. He was a silent lover, one who rarely made sounds, but you knew whenever he was close, his cock was twitching inside you. “We will leave; we will no longer be used by them.” He nodded, and his hands on your breast shifted to your shoulder. He pulled you closer to him, thrusting into you a bit faster. “Yes… yes… yes…”
He relished in your moans; they were soft and lacked loudness. There was no lust; there was only comfort. He needed this more than anything. Your drapes were still so loose on your body that your top half was no longer on your body, while they were still on your lower half and moved to the side, allowing him full access to your chest. His cock began to twitch inside you, your moans becoming breathier with each thrust.
“You are all I need.” Heron whispered into your ear, causing you to release the simple declaration of love. He may not have said he loved you, but in his words, it meant that. Your cunt clenched down onto his cock, and that was the feeling he loved. The feeling that was always able to pull out a grunt from him. “Let's rest here.” He muttered as your cunt continued to milk his cock. Your hand weakly wiped away the tears still present on his cheek. He had gone through so much, and you wanted to be there for him.

Hi hi Alie!
1st: sorry to only send BoZ asks, but the way you write to them is so precious 😭💗
2nd: If you don't mind, could I have headcanons of the Gods+ Heron and Seraphim with an s/o who is good with “monsters”?
Like Cerberus. Everyone runs away from him and s/o just pats him and calls him a good boy because “he’s just a big baby.”
no pressure!
— xoxo, Meli
Oh of course! 😄
I’ll do Ares and Apollo for this one
Masterlist 11
Tumblr media
Heron
It can come in handy every once in a while if you and the team have to fight a monster but he thinks it’s an oddly endearing trait of yours to have, especially since he’s not had the best experience with monsters
Apollo
It’s an odd trait of yours to have but he’s not deterred by it; if anything he thinks it can weirdly adorable of you especially if you can talk to his horses
Ares
Considering he sees monsters as another potential trophy to hang in his rooms, he thinks you extremely odd but still can’t help but be drawn to you when you speak to the hounds
Seraphim
He thinks there has to be something genuinely wrong with you as you don’t run away from monsters (such as himself or his steed) but even with all the teeth and snarling, you don’t run away and deep down he’s grateful in a small way for that

Well, 2nd season was only a preset to other seasons, and I really hope Netflix wouldn't cancel the show. But. They did my boy Ares so dirty. They could've shoved his conflicted personality, being low-key divorce child of Olympus, his relationships with his multiple siblings that were affected by Hera, and so much else. Instead, we're getting this "sitcom evil jock" dynamics, and for what? Making Heron look better? Distasteful.

Blood of Zeus - Heron x Hera's!Daughter Reader
Warnings - 18+Only.
I've had this sitting in my drafts for ages and I want to get it out before I try any Season 2 stuff. Plus I just like the idea of these two, okay--
Kind of a Part 4 to Trouble.
Enjoy the Rambles!
-
Training was not going well.
You cringed as Heron flew across the arena, crashing into the sands with a pained groan. The automaton returned to its standing position dispassionately, and beside you Zeus sighed heavily.
It had been days since Mother had left Olympus, taking some of the other Gods of Olympus with her to the Underworld. Hades had apparently allowed them sanctuary, although he declared he would be taking no further involvement than that.
...your wrist ached as the memory of Mother’s hand grasping you, Hera and Zeus’s raised voices, Mother’s betrayed expression melting into a fury you had never had directed at you before flashed across your mind.
You had chosen to stay on Olympus, and Mother and Ares had left, others at their heels.
“Zeus.” Hephaestus spoke from behind you, his voice low and gruff. “This isn’t working.”
Zeus’s jaw clenched as Heron went hurtling across the arena once more, kicking up a dust cloud of sand as he crashed into the ground with a loud, painful sounding thump. “He needs to unlock his potential.” His large hands gripped the stonework of the balcony in front of him. “Soon.”
You were not much of a warrior, but you were fairly certain that if Hephaestus’s contraptions broke every bone in Heron’s body, that would be rather counterproductive to improving Heron’s combat efficiency.
As Zeus and Hephaestus continued to bicker in hushed voices, you felt a warm presence appear at your side. Apollo sighed as he leaned against the balcony, peering down into the training ground where Heron stumbled to his feet once more.
“He doesn’t give up, at least.”
“Is this really the best approach?” You nervously played with your hands as you watched Heron get up and be knocked down, over and over.
Apollo shrugged. “Athena is too busy preparing the defences, and Ares is with Hera. We don’t have a lot of options, training wise.”
You both continued to watch for a while, and you could feel your stomach sinking the longer it went on. Heron barely glanced your way.
You had not spoken since the night Mother had left, but the memory of Heron shocked expression as he looked at you – really looked at you – and the blind panic it had created in you made your stomach churn. You had fled to your room and would probably still be there if Hermes hadn’t forced you out.
“You should say hello.”
Your head snapped around to stare at Apollo, you was still looking out over the balcony. “I should what?”
“You should go over and talk to him.” Apollo replied casually, as though he were suggesting something completely normal. “The staring is getting a little old.”
“I am not—I am not staring.”
“Heron!” Apollo called out abruptly, loudly, and to your horror Heron actually looked up towards you. “Would you like some water? We have plenty over here—”
You turned to flee somewhere far, far away, only for Hermes – where in Tartarus did he come from – to appear, blocking your way with a small, but noticeable smile.
Traitor!
Zeus sounded displeased. “Interruptions are not—”
Apollo grabbed his father’s arm and began tugging him towards the stairs, so suddenly Zeus stumbled. “You are correct, Father, we should check the equipment on the other side of the arena—”
Zeus looked confused as Hermes joined Apollo in practically dragging the King down the stairs. Hephaestus rolled his eyes and stalked towards the automaton, muttering something about “those bloody sons of Zeus”. You were rooted to the stop as Heron slowly approached, his head low, as though he were struggling to meet your eye.
Your heart clenched as Heron busied himself gathering water, taking somewhat longer than was required for the task. The silence was so dense you felt it were almost choking you. You scrambled for something, anything, to say, but your mind was a void of disjointed words. I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you. I couldn’t tell you. Please don’t be angry. I’m sorry for Electra, I’m so—
“…you’re short.”
You were yanked from your frazzled thoughts when Heron finally said something. You looked at him in confusion, while Heron cringed, looking frustrated with himself. “I…pardon?”
“I just mean….” Heron rubbed the back of his neck, looking anywhere but directly at you. “You…the others are….you look different. Not bad, you’re beautiful, I just mean—”
“Oh. Oh! Right, yes, well, I wasn’t born like the rest of them. Mother—she made me out of clay.” Heron lifted his head to stare at you blankly. You felt your cheeks burn. “It is…unusual, I know.”
“…I’m sorry, was that rude—”
“No, no, not at all, you should hear how Apollo and Artemis were born—”
Silence fell over you again as you both fumbled over your words. You were torn between fleeing the arena altogether and staying exactly where you were because awkward or not you and Heron were talking. Over his shoulder you could see Zeus and Hephaestus by the automaton, and knew Heron would be pulled away soon. You inhaled deeply, steeling your nerves. I am the Queen of the Heavens daughter, by the Fates, act like it. “Heron….I am so sorry. About…about your mother.”
Heron looked pained, his fingers clenching around the waterskin in his hand. “…it was Hera, wasn’t it?”
It wasn’t a question, and you both knew it. You bowed your head, yours eyes beginning to sting. Do not cry. This isn’t about you.
“…yes.” You forced out, your throat feeling thick. “Heron…Heron, I know it’s not enough, but I’m sorry—”
“Why?” Heron cleared his throat, tossing the waterskin down. “It’s not your fault. You weren’t even there.”
“But….” You bit your lip. “Mother…I mean… Hera is—”
“Your mother, I know.” Heron wasn’t quite looking at you again, but he didn’t sound angry. Grief clung to his voice, and you fought the impulse to reach for his hand. “And Zeus is my…father. That alone made mother and I targets for Hera’s wrath. You had nothing to do with it.”
“Heron—”
Heron started to laugh.
You faltered, and watched as Heron hurriedly clamped a hand over his mouth, eyes wide as though startled by his own reaction. “I…I am sorry.” He choked out, eyes wide even as you caught glimpse of a mirthful smile behind his fingers. “Please…please continue…”
Your anxiety was briefly overpowered by confusion. “What…what is so amusing…?”
Heron’s shoulders began to shake. “I…I assumed your parents would disapprove of me.” He said, and the words seemed to break something in him. He doubled over, grasping his knees, eyes squeezing shut as he began to laugh even harder. “Now…now it turns out your mother is Hera. And…and I am the bastard son of her philandering husband….!”
You stared owlishly at him as his laugh grew louder – you could see Zeus and Hephaestus watching from the side-lines, their expressions suggesting concern that the automaton had hit Heron harder than they had feared.
“That’s…well yes, that is….Heron….Heron, it’s not funny!”
Heron tried to reply, but it came out as a wheeze. “I…gods…I had no idea…!”
You could feel a smile beginning to creep onto your face and tried to squash it, but Heron’s laughter was infectious, and was the most happy you’d seen him in…well, a while. “Well…no, I suppose…I suppose you are not what my mother would consider an ideal suitor…”
That brought on another wave of near hysterical laughter, and you found yourself giggling along with Heron, until you were both cackling like lunatics in the middle of the arena. You slumped against Heron’s shoulder, clamping a hand over your mouth as you saw Zeus heading towards you both.
“…if you are both finished?” He asked dryly, his eyebrows raised. Heron’s laughter stuttered to a stop, but he didn’t move away from you, the feeling of his body against yours leaving warmth against your skin.
You reluctantly straightened up, brushing away non-existent creases in your dress. “I suppose….” You gestured wordless at the arena. Zeus eyed you cautiously, before clearing his throat and turning back towards the automaton, as though he were examining it. Heron rolled his eyes slightly as you bit down a chuckle – you supposed he was trying to give you both a moment.
“Wish me luck.” Heron gripped his sword, his free hand rising to sheepishly rub his neck. “I think I’ll need a fair share of it…”
You laughed slightly, reaching out to gently pat his arm. He smiled in response, before sighing and trudging after Zeus.
“I think that went well.” Hermes said cheerfully from behind you. You nearly jumped out of your skin. “Don’t you think that went well, Apollo?”
“Indeed!” The Sun God chirped, appearing at your side. “See? All is well that ends well.”
“You two do remember…” Artemis sighed from somewhere behind you – when did she get here? – “…the approaching civil war, yes?”
“Small victories, dearest sister.”
You flushed and turned to stride back towards the stands, while Hermes and Apollo snickered to themselves. Artemis rolled her eyes as you sat beside her, although a small, teasing smile began to tug at her mouth. “Although….I did notice he didn’t deny it when you described him as a suitor.”
“Artemis!”
You blushed furiously as the Goddess of the Hunt laughed, and your stubbornly kept your gaze ahead, focusing on Heron on the sands below, feeling just a little bit lighter than before.

Thoughts on Blood Of Zeus Season 2: AKA, wow /neg.
Long Post Ahead. Seriously, it will be long.
I literally binged the entirety of Blood of Zeus Season 2 in one day, and I'm going to be honest, I was massively disappointed. While there are parts that I enjoyed in it, Season 1 was much better for me because of the potential it had for its characters, especially Heron. Season 2 left a pretty bad taste in my mouth for a lot of its characters though, as well as the conclusion as it felt rushed like Season 1. So let's start with the goods.
The Goods
It's expected, but the best part of this season was the Hades plot line. He's a great adversary for this season, with a believable and understandable reason to why he's doing everything that he's doing. He got screwed over by his family, and I know Poseidon's betrayal hurts him the most; they spent their childhood together in Kronos' stomach, I don't doubt that they were closer to each other than with Zeus, so when Poseidon knew that Hera and Zeus screwed his brother over and said nothing, letting Hades suffer the poison of living in the Underworld without the ability to leave it for long for centuries, I know it shattered their bond greatly.
We see that bitterness in Hades in his sequence with Seraphim, and personally, I think it's nice that he wanted to sink himself into a body of water when he was on the surface as well as him flying between sky and sea. Maybe in a way, he wanted to connect with his brothers again, and it does play into the themes of power ruining the good things in one's life that all gods suffers from. It's a good sequence, and Hades is a great character. His consistency is seen throughout the season, and it shines best when he's with his family.
I also like that he doesn't really know how to approach Seraphim initially, which makes sense. He's all business, and Seraphim is business, so there's that initial wall between them that's still there because of their dynamic as god and mortal, I like that. Seraphim isn't wrong for feeling the way he does, and it has to be a gap that the two must bridged, which they did! Hades took Persephone's advice to be a father to Seraphim, and while he's still rough around the edges due to their inherent dynamic, he still lets Seraphim do what he wants as long as they get to where they need to within the time limit. Yes, there is the whole "holding your lover's fate over your head" thing that he has over Seraphim, but arguably, Hades treated him the best out of all the gods that screwed with his life. It's about deals and fairness in the Underworld, so it makes sense why Hades wanted Seraphim to work for his deal. Again, they understand each other, and I did like their dynamic a lot.
Moving onto Seraphim, who continues to be the best character in the series. Like Hades, his reasons are understandable, especially now with more context to his rage and how it affected him. It sets him on this journey of self-reflection, and I did like that in the end, he still admits to Heron that he's the villain and will suffer the consequences, as long as someone he cares about finds peace. That's great grey morality right there, and it contrast him with Heron's journey very well.
For Heron, I was more conflicted with his story. I liked that he began to play into his justified anger at his divine family; he didn't asked to be born, yet his birth was the catalyst for the world almost ending and his father dead (not like Zeus is any better) when all he wanted to do was provide for his mother despite being outcast. And he barely had time to bond with his siblings before the war started, so I was excited to see the trailer opening with him conflicted with his current situation. And it somewhat delivered?
Him trying to leave was good, him not liking Hera's presence at the Funeral Games was good, him not taking Ares' shit was good, and him still doing good things for the people in his old poli yet not forgiving them for what they did to him was great. Heron is clearly still trying to process his parents' deaths and now his was coming, he's trying so hard to prevent his demise and finding some good in the situation and that's admirable to me, especially when he confessed to Elektra's grave that he can't forgive Seraphim (another great scene portraying the turbulent relationship between brothers, which reflects Hades' inability to forgive Zeus and Poseidon with Heron's active efforts to forgive Seraphim). I'm gonna fight on this hill, but Heron was actually good in the series; he's kind but not perfect, and he's trying his best to do the right thing even when the world scorn his existence, they just needed more time to let him work through his problems that they couldn't, because war.
Hera was also great to be honest. I wish that we have more time to see the disgraced queen of the heavens, because her showing her regrets of starting the second Gigantomachy and the death of Zeus was a great progress for her character. She's not without her pride, shown in Zeus' trial when she defended him and herself, but she is with remorse. It was nice seeing her stepping away from the Olympians' bullshit in the end after failing to convince them to not fight, which I appreciated. Kinda wish we saw her more this season, helping out Heron or at least trying to see past her hatred for him, but she's not the worst offender.
Oh no, I have gripes with several others.
The Bads:
Let's just get it out of the way; that is not fucking Ares bro. I was seething when I saw the writers make Ares, who is the only Olympian who does not fucking sexually assault people, be a creep towards Persephone. Yes, he was one of her suitors, but Ares in most interpretation does not push himself onto women. That's what makes him distinct from his father and brothers, but Season 2 further bastardize him by making him a fucking goober towards Heron instead of making their conflict with each other even have a hint of nuance in it.
In Season 1, Ares was the unstoppable force that Hera needed, and his loyalty to her makes sense. Zeus intimidates him in front of everyone during a competition, his own heir that he has with his wife, and clearly favors Heron over him. Ares has all the rights to forsake his father and the siblings who stood with him, but making him a purely spiteful bully coupled with being a coward is just so fucking lazy when it comes to any iteration of Ares. He's more than just war, he's also a loyal son, a protective father, and a complex character. I would've rather have the season be focus more on how the other heirs of Zeus views each other as both competition and siblings than just another fetch quest plot. I understand that there are time constraints, but the plot needed better planning and execution for the ideas they wanted to have.
What I'm saying is, sibling moments between the heirs of Zeus and how their relationship with him affected them. Make them more complex damn it, because yet again, Athena and Artemis barely have shit, Artemis the worst of the two.
Demeter.
Holy shit, I hated the route they took with her in the second act. I get it, she has beef with Hades. IT'S EXPECTED. But making her NUKE PEOPLE like The Last of Us is not the fucking way to make Hades more sympathetic. I already liked him, you didn't have to make her a complete bitch to accomplish it. How about you go more into her perspective of her daughter's choice, and have Persephone tell her off by reminding Demeter that she didn't even visit her grandchildren at all? How about you see their relationship finally changes with Zeus and Hera gone, instead of bastardizing Demeter and making Persephone a hostage at the end? Disservice to both of them.
My favorite interpretation of Demeter is still from the game Hades; she's capable of being cruel, she's capable of being spiteful, but she does love her daughter and grandchildren and puts in the efforts of seeing Persephone as her own person. She deserves at least that level of respect to her characterization.
Now, we're moving into the territory that I know I will get flamed for. Feel free to disagree, you're entitled to your opinion.
But Gorgo did not need to exist in the narrative.
Seraphim's lover did not need to exist in the narrative for his story to continue or for Hades to relates to him, especially when he already has someone else who can fulfill the purpose he needed for his plot line. His adopted mother.
You know, the woman who rescued him, raised him, protected him and was one of the people who his uncle murdered and sets him off on the journey of vengeance? That woman?
Nope, make another female character who is fridged for Seraphim's sake. For HIS plot. It doesn't matter that we have flashbacks to show the audience how good she was to him, she was fucking disrespected as hell because HER EXISTENCE IN THE SHOW WAS JUST TO MOTIVATE THE MAN IN HER LIFE. You can literally replaced her with the woman who raised Seraphim (who died in the forest. I doubt they gave her a proper burial.) and the story would still worked. I just feel bad for Gorgo.
Speaking of her death and fate, I might be missing some details. But if her fellow priestesses gathered up her remains to give her a pretty swanky grave site, why didn't they fucking pay the obols for Gorgo to pass? Because she didn't have a skull to put money on? That's wack! Put some fucking money in that poor girl's grave, what kind of bullshit is this? Literally her purpose was to serve Seraphim's character, making her the 3rd woman to do so after both of his mothers.
RIP Gorgo, you were a victim of writer's misogyny. I will pray for you. This past couple of years has been hell on me because of the amount of female characters I see with potential gets FUCKED over by their respective writers made me lose sleep. I barely got over Jill Warrick from FFVI and Yoshizawa from Persona 5 Royal, Gorgo was the third bullet to my brain.
And of course, Alexia and Kofi got shafted. Avios did the right thing and noped out before his ass got screwed over too. I wanted these four to have a FFXV style road trip goddamnit, why do ya'll do this.
The Conclusion
I did not like Season 2 at all. Season 1, while rushed, had a lot of potential that could've been explored in Season 2. And when I saw the trailers, I genuinely thought that we could've have a more melodramatic plot following the death of Zeus. The creator's video on the synopsis said that Season 2 was focusing on the relationship between the 3 brothers, but that was a fucking lie because Poseidon was nowhere to be seen after Zeus' trial. We didn't see him trying to keep up the pieces of the family for the sake of his brother's children or see him clash with Hades after that fall out. He just fucked off back into the ocean.
Hestia got one cool thing going on, and I liked seeing her grief after losing her little brother and watching the rest of her family tear each other apart. But like Athena and Artemis, she got shafted because she wasn't evil enough like Demeter. Lame as hell. They introduced Zagreus and Melinoe to make me hopeful, only to fucking Thanos snappeed those kids into oblivion after 5 minutes.
And the ending...
Narratively, it makes sense. And the cliffhanger makes sense. Heron's death happened because Hades cannot move on from his anger and forgive, something that Heron learned with his brother and even vouched for Seraphim, so they are screwed. But the lead up was so disappointing that I'm with Gaia on this. They should all blow up via Typhon.
That's all I can muster up to even word my displeasure towards this season right now. As always, feel free to disagree with me, that's cool. But personally, I'm gonna pretend that Season 2 does not exist.

Random questions and thoughts about Blood of Zeus that I can't get out of my head
If Hades had met Peresphone while he still had hair would he not have gone bald?
Did Hermes ever like run into Peresphone in the underworld? (Or Hades?)
I keep forgetting Peresphone is Zeus's daughter
Everyone talks about how much Heron and Hera look a like but never how much Dionysus and Heron look alike. I know Dionysus is just a side/background character but dam him and Heron look similar
Heron probably has multiple scars on his stomach because of where he stabbed himself at the end of season 1 and where Hades stabbed him at the end of season 2 which is in like the same spot but created a new scar.

Ok, so the trailer for Blood of Zeus season 2 came out the other day, and I kinda just wanna write out my thoughts and possible predictions/ideas about what might happen. Warning, it's a mess.
So the first thing I noticed was a lack of Hermes and a strong focus on Hades. Makes wonder what's in store for the messenger God since Hermes can travel to the Underworld. Maybe he's either gonna help Heron and maybe Seraphim since Hermes is a psychopomp. I remember a lot of people complaining about Heron in season one saying they didn't like him, or he didn't feel like a protagonist. Personally, I don't have any strong opinions about Heron, so I can't really say anything, but it looks like he's taking a bit of a back seat, maybe? Like he's going to be tied to saving his brother and not whatever is about to happen on Olympus.
There's also this idea I've had rattling around about Hermes possibly discovering what's going on and being trapped in the underworld so Olympus won't know about Hades until it's too late. Or even Hermes sympathising with Hades and Persephone and being some sort of ally, but I can't really see him betraying Olympus.
I don't think Hades is going to a villain necessarily. Most likely this season's antagonist, but I won't say a villain. Kinda looks like Persephone is pulling the strings/came up with the idea. I'd really like to see more of the Gods that reside/are tied to the Underworld, like Thanatos or Hecate. I think they're hinting at a possible divide between the Olympians and the Gods of the Underworld, sorta like a class divide.
And finally, there's the whole bit about an heir to Zeus' throne. I think the main contenders would be Apollo or Ares since we had the conflict between them in season 1, and this would carry on from that.

Hallo ^^ I don't really know if you write NSFW, buuut if you do, could you please write something between Heron & Alexia? Preferably, if possible, with Heron being the bottom and Alexia the top :3
Sure 😉😏
KINKTOBER 2024
She likes looking at him whenever he was underneath her. Every time she moved her hips up and down, Alexia saw those blue eyes react to her.
Hips moving back and forth, up and down, his breath was hot against her shoulder as she leaned closer to him.
Those curls beckoned her whenever she gave them a light tug whenever he went for a kiss. He tried to be quiet in their time alone, only affording a low moan and gasp as she squeezed around him.
Heron weaves his legs between hers. She was his anchor and reminder that there was still more in this life as he came apart underneath the beloved Amazon.
