just another test today but thankfully i finished renovating so Hopefully i can get back to proper studies soon

not rly happy with it honestly 😭 i think i roughly have an idea on what i need to study but man it sucks to put hours of work and detail into something and then at the very end realizing that kinda everything is off but anyway. next time maybe idk

50 redesigns ago of my little guy (posting this and the other pieces for the art itself and not the design, pls Do Not Perceive bc i plan on remaking them accurately very soon) ares has gone through like a million redesigns but it's because 1) d&d is spontaneous as hell like he went from being homeless old man vibes to being a sparkly golden and white porcelain sin eater in the span of... less than a week? essentially at one point and 2) i can't draw my own ocs <3 BUT as aforementioned i hope to redesign a lot of my campaign's characters and make them all consistent and actually accurate to my vision even if they're harder to draw. I Shall Learn. soon i hope to draw at least almost every day and do some little sketches, even just 10 minutes or whatever. i doubt most of them will actually be something monumentally incredible but if anyone wants to see a silly little artist journey to improvement then that's what i'll be doing o7

i decided to do one of those challenges where u change your monitor to greyscale and use a random colour palette to make a drawing. i tried my best to not colour pick from the drawing itself and only using the palette but unlearning that was the hardest part 😭 anyway the result is horrifying but also kinda cool but im gonna hide it below bc it's eyestrain esp if u have colour sensitivity like me :')

the reason why the values are diff if u noticed, it's because i originally didnt know who i was drawing and then i wanted to darken his skin tone so i added a dark layer on top BUT when i turned the colours back on it was this horrifying dark green colour so i turned it back off 😭
