in all seriousness i know the shorts are only semi canon at best BUT. i think it's 10000% plausible that this shows just how rock bottom blitz's confidence is. like - he was riding high, teleporting all over the place when he was running on the pre blitzo sucks adrenaline high, & now ??? the crystal that is the literal symbol of how much he hates himself & everything he lost ??? he's gonna have trouble using that bad boy.

WOOH! SO MUCH! Not much to say for the filler ep with the voltron show other than never trust an Unilu. Ummm. Next! Now we have the delightful piece of wtf is Lotor up to and then we must say goodbye to Narti. Not cool Haggar, not cool. Then we have the start of the Blitz! Awesomeness in it base form! Olia is awesome!!!!! Like, i'm headcannoning his as still very young just because of his voice, he is so young and such a skilled pilot that he is put in charge of the coalition fighter forces! He is awesome!!! Then we get to the awesome fight and skills everyone is displaying, the heart stopping moment when coalition forces get taken out, and then Keith coming to save the day with his cross galaxy shot! Woo! Then we get to s4e6. Desperation. Sacrifice. Fear. And snarky sass. Keith was so willing to do it. He was going to do it. The BOM may be good in helping him level off and become a better leader and person but it is tearing away at his sense of self worth. The mission is more important that the individual. Bullshit. Keith and Lance both struggle with theur self worth and feelings of worthiness. The difference betweeen them is that Keith convinced the team that he was okay and they allowed him to withdraw. Lance does the peptalks that save the day. But that does not mean he is okay. I do it to. I am go to personal therapist for some of my internet friends. I can rally themand give a "go get 'em" like you've never heard before. But I'm still fucked up on the inside and wish someone would give me the speech at times. Then end of season 4 has always been a rather bitter one for me not just because of Lotor but because of all the personal character insight we get in season 4 as a whole, just leaves me feeling off.
