Thank YOU @indelibleevidence for making this possible! It was a long road and with all our personal ups and down we finally completed the Blindspot rewatch. I too want to thank @take2intotheshower for sharing new stuf till the very end. 🫶

From my part i have one more set to post, and, never say never, but that will the last Blindspot set for the time being...

Well, I guess this is the (official) end of the Blindspot rewatch! We started in 2021, and got through the full 100 episodes, somehow,

Big thanks to everyone who kept our little fandom alive for a few extra years, especially to the giffers who made new pretties for each episode. @take2intotheshower @marv-el-spot You guys kept going with new stuff long after I dropped off into just reblogging old posts, so thank you both!

It's been fun fangirling with you all! ❤ And I hope any future Blindspot fans find things in the tag that will make them smile (and probably also cry, because this IS Blindspot we're talking about).

Flipping tables that not only did I not manage to catch up, but I've missed even Finale Week on the rewatch?! 😱 What can I say, though? My body has been through It and just like all of us I've just been keeping on as best I can. Blindspot is an absolute gem of a show; finding it and finding this fandom in 2021 made so much of the pandemic so much more bearable and even enjoyable than it probably should have been. I've made friends and beloved acquaintances, people I chat with and those who are just quiet mutuals, and I never fail to be impressed by the wild stuff y'all put on my dash - Blindspot or otherwise. Perhaps best of all, you all encouraged me to get back in touch with a creative side and curiosity in dabbling that had kinda got lost in the muck that was my particular line of work even before the pandemic, and left so many of us "just scraping by" once The Rona came for us. I learned to make gifs! I made a music video! I played with jpegs like they're dolls! I even learned that I'm - apparently, istg guys it still feels weird to say - a writer! The bottom line is, life has been better with Blindspot and this small and mighty fandom than it might have been without.

I feel in my heart that I'm not remotely done with this show, but I'm not gonna do anything so grandiose as making pledges about intended creations or future blogging. I'll still be keeping on with rewatching at my own pace when the vibes are right, and I may or may not make it A Thing sometimes, so, RIP to your dashes. Even if I don't continue to build the museum, it's a safe bet I'll be dabbling other stuff over on @nachosncheezies

Cheers @indelibleevidence for organising it all and just being so damn cool. Man, if not for fanmail, what I would have missed. 💕

Sorry I'm a little late to the rewatch party of season 2, but you know how life is. 🙈 We are at 2×04 this week, right? I will want to catch up this week. Season 2 was my start with the whole series were I was really into it. Oh all the old feelings toward season 2. Ep. 2x01 is one of my alltime favourites, the fight between Kurt and Jane at the hotel is epic with all this built-up tensions and feelings that are breaking open. As I see you were really busy in posting the last weeks so I have a lot to read. ❤

Just finished season 2 (not a rewatch, watching for the first time so don’t spoil me please).

Is Mary Stuart Masterson just destined to play characters coded as Southen Lesbians for the rest of her life?

I realized I have a major thing for Roman. I thought maybe it was the actor, but after looking at some non-Roman pics of him, I realized it’s something about this particular haircut, facial hair, build, and scar that it really doing it for me.

Can’t wait to find out why she left.

Welcome to Blindspot Rewatch 2024!

We started in March 2021, and somehow managed to keep the momentum more or less going from seasons 1-4. Now we only have 11 episodes left, so if we fit in a couple of 2- or 3-week breaks, we should be done by late April/early May.

People who are following me who want to opt out of the weekly Blindspot spam should probably blacklist the tags #blindspot and #blindspot rewatch 2024 - and then start watching Blindspot, because it's great. ❤

BLINDSPOT REWATCH ~ S02E14 ~

“It's uh... it's a dissection puzzle consisting of flat geometric pieces known as tans, which are put together to form elaborate shapes.”

Some commentary of this lovely moment:

This is my favorite non-jeller moment of the episode. Not only it’s the start of Patterson’s nerdy analogies to explain things, it’s just so... gentle. 

I recently read an interview where Jaimie said how proud she was to be on a show where female empowerment is such a big theme, and looking back, I love that this was a part of that. It’s not just that Jane is a badass, or that there’s 3 women in a team of 5 and they’re all awesome on their own, but stuff like this, where Patterson is there for Jane in such a supportive, soft way. 

Both Patterson and Kurt are explaining the same thing; that Jane being a part of the team is not gonna happen overnight. But, even knowing that Kurt was upset when he tried to explain back at the car park (and he ended up revealing more of his inner turmoil than he meant to), his aggressive approach just doesn’t sit right with Jane. She obeyed, but she still felt hurt and like it was unfair. 

The “it’s my way or the highway”, team boss or not, would never work with someone as stubborn as Jane (and really, it doesn’t work on Kurt either).

But Patterson explains things in this way that manages to be objective, out of the box thinking and convincing at the same time. She’s not condescending, she shows empathy, yet she’s still logical. And while Jane still doesn’t quite like the fact that she’s gonna have to be patient, she understands, she feels seen by her kindness.

They just connect and UNGH. Feels.

(Also, the fact that Patterson felt awkward at first, having Jane stare at her own tattoos on the screen? And made her look away, I don’t know, it feels like such a big sis move, like she’s shielding her somehow. So many little details about this scene ♥)

This week’s episode is one of my absolute favourites, but I have no mental or physical capacity to enjoy it with you all right now.
