You might wonder why I would create something like this. I am a firm believer that we can see everything we need in our birth chart. We can see our challenges as well as how we can overcome them.

What drew me to astrology was this overwhelming feeling that I needed to understand what was going on and I needed to make changes. I started to do the charts of myself and my family members and I saw trends. I saw similar placements. I noticed patterns.

THE SCORPIO MOON & THE STORY

There is a great connection between my emotions, my identity, and my purpose; yet all of this seems to be outdone by my tumultuous inner world. I feel as though a fog has fallen over me, and I live life through a haze.

Escapism is my oldest and bestest friend. I have learnt their trade since I was old enough to talk. It seemed to be the only thing that could keep me safe, forming a cocoon around me while my entire world collapsed.

When you're a child, your entire world is your parents. Mine was my mother. Seeing her succumb to a mental illness in an environment that didn't want to understand it and swept it under the rug, was absolutely harrowing. She never accepted the help she received because she never saw it as help, but rather as everyone trying to surpress the truth she saw.

My relationship with my mother is an absolute mess. It seems as though my maternal inheritance is both her blessings and curses. I look at her and it's like looking in a mirror. Will I become as mad as her? How can you call someone you barely know mother?

I lived under the same roof as her for 20 years but it was like we were on two different planets. How funny it is to have the same face as someone who is basically a stranger.

Yet, we are two sides of the same coin. Some days, I feel my life is an extension of hers, one which I might never escape. Hers an extension of her mother.

The Scorpio Moon is an inherited Moon sign in a sense. At times it is a byproduct of a culmination of turmoil in the ancestral line. It comes to end the cycle or it begins it. Unfortunately, that is life, everything has a start.

My grandmother has the same Sun and Moon placements as myself, and her story started with abandonedment. She was a child born because of sexual assault. Her mother had given her up for adoption. She stayed in that adoption centre until one day while travelling by train across the country, she too became a victim of assault.

She became pregnant because of this and she was forced to marry this man.

Years went by and my grandmother finally tracked down her mother, but she wanted nothing to do with my grandmother. So the wound festers and grows and consumes.

She tried to take her own life by jumping in front of a train. There were attempts after that but none were successful.

Then I am born, years later, her son's youngest child. The son she adored but cursed, giving him the same name as his father and trying to use him as some sort of compensation. I'm born and I look just like my mother, the woman who took her precious son from her.

She hated me.

She hated me even more when my grandfather assaulted me as well.

There's that saying: "The history book on the shelf is always repeating itself."

Sometimes I think about how she would've felt. Other times, I am reminded by how cynical life can be, to throw our pain back in our face in so many different ways.

As a Scorpio Moon, betrayal and abandonedment are the first knives in your back and the first ones you hold.

Top 5 placements from my natal chart I like

Hello, it's me! Before I get into a topic, I would like to thank to everyone who has supported me for a couple of days. It really means the world to me. My second astrology observation about the planet Venus in houses really blew up and it got over 100 likes/notes in its first 24 hours, which I did not expect at all. I'm glad you like my posts and that you can resonate with the words I write. So, I was thinking for hours about what could I do next and decided I'm going to make an observation on my favorite placements from my own natal chart, which is a very 1st house Mercury thing, hahaha, lol. Hope you wouldn't mind this kind of observation.

Moon Trine Venus - This is my tightest aspect in my natal chart (0° 12' orb) and I'm glad it is. I think this is a beautiful placement which gives natural beauty. These planets are placed in the earth signs in my chart, which gives very grounding energy. People always tell me how I'm so grounded and stable when they see me. I love this placement, you can be loved by everyone basically. Trine is a harmonious aspect which can tell about our talents, so this aspect can make someone talented in arts. Love that!

Sun in the 1st house - This placement can be truly a blessing when you use it the right way. Of course, it depends on the position of the Sun too. For example, I do have Sun in Aquarius, which is a detriment position for the Sun. But regardless, having Sun in the 1st house can make you confident and to have a strong personality, which I think it's so important. This placement answered my question why have I always been by myself and independent for my whole life, haha.

Pluto Sextile Ascendant - Pluto represents power, obsessions and even sexiness, while Ascendant represents ourself, our body and our overall life. Those natives could have very powerful presence and persona. It can make someone being beautiful and having a sex appeal too. When I'm interested in something, I can become obsessed with that and I think this could be the manifestation of this aspect.

MC ruler in Leo - Midheaven/Medium Coeli/MC is all about career, reputation and how you seem to be like to other people. Leo, on the other hand, is associated with creativity, entertainment and being the center of attention, which is great for careers in creative pursuits. My MC ruler is also at 11 degrees, which represents internet and technology. I basically make an astrology content here on Tumblr and I think that's creative. My MC ruler is also retrograde, so it could be a little bit harder for me to get successful in career.

North Node in the 5th house - North Node represents our life mission and something that could be hard for us to establish. It tells us what should be work on to maintain our life purpose. The 5th house is all about having fun, creativity, children, entertainment, hobbies and doing something what we like to do. While it's hard sometimes to work on that placement, I always feel guided to be in present moment and have fun a little bit more. It's lovely to me when your life purpose is needing to have to be comfortable with yourself and doing something creative.

2024 Mexico GP astroweather

6:06 p.m. Oct. 23 at home

Natal chart of the final race this year for the Mexico GP, generated in local time.

This is my first time being a sports fan (?) so if you see me getting crazier about this. Do not worry. This is normal for me, I just happened to apply it to something that I don't normally engage in- a field that, probably, has not seen anyone like me engage with it. So yeah.

Astroweather aspects: Mutable square between Saturn Rx, Venus, Moon, and Jupiter (separating); Mars opposite Pluto; Grand Water Trine (by sign) between Sun, Saturn Rx, and Mars

Anyway, guesses under the cut, as always!

Chart of all of the F1 racers in 2024. Those marked in bold are not on the grid as of the Austin GP. Names highlighted in purple have an AA-confirmed birth time and have the most accurate charts. Placements are highlighted by their essential dignity as per the Hellenistic astrology. Red is for fallen placements, Orange is for planets in domicile, Green is for exalted placements, and Blue is for planets in detriment. Boxes marked in gray and/or have yellow font have these planets in retrograde. Boxes marked in pink and/or have red font have the North Node conjunct that planet by eight degrees. Moon signs for unconfirmed birth charts are generated for 12 noon.

The racers are listed in order of how much the aspects are affecting their planets. It won't be totally accurate considering we don't have their houses but sure.

Mutable square between Saturn Rx, Venus (anchor), Moon, and Jupiter (separating)

Most likely to affect: The seven mutable heavy people on the grid.

Verstappen - He's a natal Sagittarius rising so the square is on his angular houses, which makes it prominent. The 2024 Mexico GP also happens on the day of his Lunar return in Virgo, the planet of details and quick judgment, and honestly the best marker for his racing success in previous years (aside from the Libra-Aries/Sun-Saturn opposition he shares with Leclerc, whose luck will turn around this weekend*****). Although he would perform well, I don't think he would use the strategy that would come to his mind first- he'd be following someone else's orders. He will still come out on top- Jupiter in the air sign of Gemini in his 7H of enemies is seeing the lord of his chart (airy Jupiter in the third house of driving) despite the retrograde motion, he performs best when he's racing against someone instead of gunning for the top by himself. The Moon is also lighting up his natal exalted Mercury (hands, thought) and North Node on that in his 10H of public image and career. However he will be more reactive than initiatory this race- Mars-ruled Scorpio Sun and Moon-ruled Mars in his 12H of foreign people and 8H of secrets is activating his natal Venus (personally supportive planets in his chart which, unfortunately, doesn't see his "racing" planets, as I mentioned briefly here and alluded to here). It does lend credence to that fan theory of Red Bull wanting to lose the constructor's championship so they'd have more time to use the wind tunnel next year.

Piastri - His Jupiter return seems to be okay so far? Good for him, I suppose, that Jupiter's blessings of good luck and fortune, though expressed strangely in a scatterbrained sign as Gemini, did not cause him as much grief as the others (briefly mentioned here), because of the planet's natal opposition to his Sagittarius Mars (planet of going fast). He also has a possible Lunar Return in Virgo this time around. I still say that he would have a better season next year, but with the planet of luck still in retrograde motion, he is still very much in wildcard territory.

Sainz - This man has both his Mars and Saturn return (fast vs slow, impulse vs longevity, quick vs timely) at the same time right now, which is probably why he's faring better than the other two. His Virgo Sun (ego, consciousness, thought)- which will be emphasized by this race's transit Moon in Virgo (analytics, detail, and splitting hairs)- is exactly opposite his Pisces Saturn as well*, which is probably why he is also doing a good job at it (Saturn is a depressing planet- but the rays of the Sun always shine some light on it). He will be pressured to give some of the best performances and mid-race judgment calls for the final races, but his Saturn return in Pisces will continue until January, concluding with his final move to Williams**.

Albon*** - Having more pressure is the theme for this man this year. Both he and Gasly are mid-Saturn return with two Pisces placements each, but only Albon has his Mars (planet of fast cars) is being slowed down by Saturn, along with Mercury (planet of hands and thinking), which in his chart is already not happy in the sign of dreamy, vague Pisces, but is also retrograde natally, bringing a dizziness to the whole thing. He gets the brunt of the bad luck, so to speak, among the three racers on the grid with natal Saturn in Pisces, since he will have the moon in Virgo (criticism, perfectionism) on the day of the Mexico GP shining light on all three of his Pisces placements (idealism, vagueness), with nothing else but a possible Taurus moon (reliability) to balance it out. I still say that he is the most stable person on the track despite it, but stable is not what wins races. It saves your life, makes your driving generally smooth, but it does not make you go any faster. This was slightly remediated when he wore that helmet of his that reckoned back to his old karting days (Saturn respects longevity, Pisces likes nostalgia), but idk if it'll work as well this day. However, he might also be on the lookup next year, when it comes to it. Just has to get through this now.

Gasly - Like Sainz, he is going through his Saturn return, like Albon, the thing that he is hungry for in this life, his appetite for purpose (North Node) just turned inside out like his fortunes. Unlike the two of them, however, his exalted Venus in Pisces is being crystallized, and while he has Gemini rising (therefore having the square in his angular houses), his Midheaven (career point) is in Fixed signs. He'll probably have more connections next year, but I put him below the other two because this pressure doesn't translate to his racing at all. In fact, this might affect Alpine through him, but not him personally. Especially since the Sun just moved into Scorpio, and now the attention (Sun) is elsewhere, not his racing (squaring his natal Aquarius Sun-Mars).

Hamilton - If his rectified chart is accurate (and I do believe it is because he looks like a man who has Pisces I in his big three), then this square will also be happening in his angular houses. Having Saturn in his 1H has been quite a wreck for him though, and the DNF in Austin might be the same for him. On the other hand, there is much criticism and spotlight to someone across (?) from him, if the planet that rules his house of games, risk, and play (5H Cancer where his natal moon/physical body is) is transiting the house in his chart that signifies other people (7H).

Zhou - His birth time is not accurate so he might not even be that affected by this square at all, and the martial planets in the sky at the moment don't make significant connections to his natal Mars (fast) or Saturn (time). He does have mutable placements tho!

Mars opposite Pluto

Most likely to affect: Cancers and Capricorns personal placements

Hamilton - Mars (anger, willpower, determination) is making one last application to Pluto (intensity, generational) involving his Moon (body/emotion)... I actually do wonder what would happen after the race that would signify this much frustration. I don't want to say it's his racing, but he hasn't qualified for Top 5 ever since Pluto went back to terrorize his Capricorn placements in September 1. It might give him a speed boost, but considering that Mars is about to exit Cancer it might not be likely. Things will start looking up in Las Vegas.

Alonso - The eternal rookie is just doing generational beef with himself at this moment. The ruler of all of his Cancer placements will be in his 1H of the self- so Moon (body/emotions), conjunct his Venus (fallen in analytical Virgo, but good for just being pleased with one's self in general), which probably means he will be having a better race this weekend. It's not going to last long, but it will be like a nice, soft, hurrah for him. The race next year will have changed regulations, (Pluto in Cap -> Aquarius; both ruled by Saturn/time but the letter being faster) and while he will be a great veteran of the sport, and his experiences would serve him well, that opposition to his Sun (ego, consciousness) by the planet of intensity might cause problems for him, especially since he is so hungry (North Node conjunct his Sun) for the game itself (Leo).

Sainz - Same with Alonso, but much more connected to his Saturn story.

Most likely to affect: Water and Earth heavy placements

[same as last time, except now it also has emphasis on the Fixed signs, especially Leo. But it won't be as big of a splash considering this is a looser aspect than the previous trine during the 2024 US GP].

Conclusion:

Verstappen win, Sainz surprising upset, Hamilton last-minute race change for some reason.

*The last time a racer with a natal Sun-Saturn opposition moved teams around the time of their Saturn return was Daniel Ricciardo (10 deg Cap Saturn- 9 deg Cancer Sun), who announced his move to Renault after he turned 29 (his natal Saturn is conjunct Neptune the planet of illusion/film btw, and it was interesting how his Saturn return story was documented fully in the first seasons of Drive to Survive). However, Daniel moved before his Saturn return, and was racing for Renault during the peak years of his Rx in 2019-2020. Carlos is currently in the retrograde. Williams might actually be good for him after all of this.

**Williams is either undergoing a nodal return in Pisces next year, if we base its inception chart on the time when it was called Frank Williams Racing in 1969, OR it will be finishing up a nodal reversal this year, if we base it on when it rebranded into Williams Racing in 1977. Either way, Williams will have a better season next year.

***My astroweather reading for the Austin GP had his data wrong on the table but right on the reading- he has Jupiter in Capricorn and Saturn in Pisces, not the other way around.

****Alex, Esteban, and Pierre are all undergoing their nodal reversals at the moment. Pray for them.

Some adjustments, a couple of trine-blessings we’d better not sleep through, perhaps one big decision/choice to make. Not to worry - after so much time with Mercury/Virgo (since July 28!), we got this.

Mercury’s next retrograde zone falls between November 25, 2023, and January 21, 2024.
