When you look slightly off putting and try very hard not to look like you are glaring at all grocery store staff with the face of an 18year old on a 27 year old woman, but the guy who bags groceries has recognized you for coming in every week to every other week and has apparently caught on that your face is just like that and you’re trying to look nice and it’s such a big relief

I also dress casual goth most of the time which doesn’t help #usually I am told I look like two things. 😑 or 👁️_👁️#tries not to look like 😑 but just ends up looking at you with my autistic eyes #and if I force myself to talk more I always end up blurting out some weird shit #I am so sorry to everyone except the Walmart cashier who is always definitely high and called me unemployed #I mean. I am. But did he really have to point at me during a conversation with my dad and brother and say ‘except her. she’s unemployed’#dude had seen me exactly ONCE before that and I didn’t mention employment. at least I don’t think I did #it was incredibly embarrassing #even if I DID mention it and forgot. he didn’t have to just point it out like that #and he scanned stuff really slowly which I can normally just shrug off but oh my god it made that worse #I couldn’t look at anyone else in the store
