I visited London in 2010 and had the opportunity to see some of this graffiti on the walls of  London.  There was more of this work, but it is in a tunnel that runs underground where people can take shortcuts to their desired  locations. I was only able to last in the tunnel for a few minutes before the thick smog from the  trains took over, and made it hard to breathe. Cutting through the smog and the crowds, the art in London's Bansky tunnel appears from the  shadows to cause questions and inspire. This makes me wonder: do we shape art, or does art shape us?   Looking at this piece of art among the others, each project fills the walls and expresses a testament to human  emotions and experiences; from touching the soul of social issues to whimsical imagination. This class and our text has taken us through decades of art, the stories of the artists, all their lessons they have given us, which brings us to this: Artists  breathe life into their creations, art molds our perceptions, influences our identities, and twists  itself into our everyday society. The Bansky tunnel becomes a community of this, where every  stroke or spray of paint tells a story, and every visitor leaves a piece of themselves behind.
