A-Z NSFW Alphabet
Armando Aretas
🎧- Girls Need Love: Summer Walker
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: head cannon on what sex—a-z—is like with Armando
Tumblr media
A: After care (what they’re like after sex)
I’m fully convinced that after you have sex, Armando cleans you off while telling you how well you took him. Then he sets a bath or shower, your preference, for you both. He likes to clean you off and sing you some more praises before you ultimately fall asleep in each others arms.
B: Body part (what’s their favorite body part)
I see Armando as an ass and back guy. There’s no doubt he’s in killer shape, so I think seeing a toned back and a fat, perky ass bouncing while he drills into you from behind, would definitely turn him on, only fueling the way he destroys your cunt.
C: Cum (where do they like to cum)
Armando cums literally anywhere you let him. On your face, in your pussy, on your back, on your stomach. Anywhere you tell him, he will
D: Dirty (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Armando once caught you using a vibrator and never told you. It was just something about the way you moaned and squirmed, touching yourself while you called out his name, that fueled his ego and lust for you.
E : Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
Armando’s a drug dealer, there are desperate girls lying up just waiting for the chance at a good fuck with him. I think it goes without saying that he’s pretty experienced and has methods on making you cum each and every-time you fuck.
F: Favorite position (this goes without saying)
I think Armando likes some good ole’ missionary, except he likes to fold you like a pretzel, test the bounds of your flexibility, as he pounds and drills deep into you. He loves to not only hear your cries and moans but see them too, and in missionary, he really gets the best of both worlds.
G: Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
To Armando, there is nothing funny about getting the chance to fuck you and see you wither from his touch. I doubt he laughs in general, so sex would definitely be a no laughing matter.
H: Hair (how well groomed are they)
For the most part I think Armando is clean shaven. I didn’t see a spec of hair on his chest in the prison scene so I think when you pull down his pants, it’ll either be clean shaven or a slight buzz down there.
I: Intimacy (how intimate are they)
It depends, are you the love of his life, or a quick fuck? Love of his life? He’ll go above and beyond for you. A quick fuck? The most you’ll get out of his is an orgasm and one night in a five star hotel.
J : Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
Armando has a high sex drive—I mean look at his father—so he’s definitely going to jack off, especially with the time he spends alone and in prison. He’d jerk off thinking of you, squeezing snd pumping his swollen cock in his fist until he cums.
K: Kink (what are their kinks)
Now as violent as Armando can get, I don’t think his kink would be anything that can hurt you. I think if anything, the lack of a stable family and community around him would make him desperate for a family of his own with the right woman. I think he’d have a breeding kink, always moaning and babbling about how he wants to cum deep inside of you, impregnating you to start a family. His favorite phrase to moan near his orgasm: “Hazme papá, mi amor.”
L: location (where do they like to fuck)
Armando will fuck you anywhere his cock starts to ache, needing to be inside you. It doesn’t matter where you too are, if he wants you, he’ll have you.
M : Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
Armando has expensive taste. So he gets the most turned on when you’re sensually dressed in the lingerie he bought you, all dolled up for him. I think seeing you like that, doing mundane things like cooking and cleaning, will have him ready to explode.
No: No (what are some things they’re not doing to you)
I don’t think Armando’s doing anything that can hurt you. He doesn’t want you to fear him if he goes to far, then he’ll loose you and he can’t risk that.
O: Oral (do they give and receive oral)
Armando loves the taste or your pussy, and he loves how he can make you cum just by eating you out, he loves the power of gives him. He doesn’t always ask for it, but he loves when you go down on him and suck his cock with such ease. It’s glorious watching you choke and slob on his large member.
P: Pace (how fast or slow is sex)
This depends on Armando’s mood. If you’re fucking or having a quickie, he’s all about fast and tough, making you cum as quick and hard as he can. But if you’re making love, he will give you slow, powerful, and calculate strokes, making sure to hit your sweet spot every-time time he pushes into you while singing you praises and telling you your worth.
Q : Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
Armando is always game for a quickie, but I don’t think he has them often. If he’s going to fuck you, he’s going to fuck you passion and purpose and quickie doesn’t give him the time to do what he truly wants to do to you.
R: Risk (how risky are they)
Armando’s a drug-dealing assassin, risk might as well be his middle name. He’s fucking you in the office, in the van, in the compound, outside in the woods, in an airplane bathroom, upstairs at a friends place. He’s an adrenaline junkie and some part of him gets off on the fact that you like the risk too.
S: Stamina (how long do they last)
Do you see his body? That man can last for hours if he has too. Round after round he won’t tap out until you do, and if that means being balls deep for hours, he’ll do that.
T: Toys (do they like toys? Do they use them?)
Armando won’t use toys on himself. And he doesn’t really like them, he’d rather his partner cum because of him and what can do. He’ll study every part of you and listen to your sexual language so that he can perform just what you need to make you cum harder than any toy could make you.
U: Unfair (how unfair are they when you fuck)
Armando loves to tease you, edging you and seeing how far he can push you for your release. He loves to stop fucking you just when you’re at the edge so that you’re begging for him just to stick the head of his cock back in and finish his job. Hell do this a few times because some insecure part of himself needs to know just how badly you need him.
V: Volume (how loud they are during sex)
Armando is definitely vocal. He grunts and moans as he takes your pussy with his cock. He praises you in Spanish and English for how well you take his cock. He wants to be heard by you and others, claiming you as his with his sounds.
W: Wild card ( a random head canon)
As dominant as he can be, I really do think he’s a munch. I think he could sit for hours just eating your pussy or doing as you ask him and following your orders. Whatever you tell him to do in the bedroom, that won’t hurt you, of course, he does it. And he does it with fucking pride. He’s your best eater and there’s no doubt about it.
X: X-ray (what’s going down underneath)
Marcus said it: “those Lowery genes are a bitch.” I’m thinking Armando is strapped. He’s about 7 1/2 inches and thick, a perfect size to stretch you out and give you a good, full fucking that’ll have you craving for more.
Y: Yearing (how high is their sex drive)
High. That’s all I’m going to say. High.
Z: Zzz (how fast to the fall asleep after sex)
I don’t think he sleeps right after. Armando definitely pulls you into his arms and watches you sleep against his chest. And once you’re sleep for a while with no waking, I think that’s when he’ll slowly start to doze off himself.

falling for you... again - a.f

☺︎ azzi fudd ☺︎ ☺︎ playing: honey by kehlani ☺︎
Geno just finished his rant after our hard loss against Texas. Throughout his entire speech, his main goal was our team chemistry, especially through the guards. He was basically yelling at Azzi and me the entire time.
Azzi and I weren't as close as we were with everyone else, but there's a great explanation for it. Azzi was my first everything back in high school. My dad was stationed in Washington, so we went to the same high school. We dated the entire time I was there, but we broke up when my dad got reassigned.
We never really talked about the breakup, we only really talked on the court. "Fudd and McKnight let me speak to you in the hall" Geno walked out with the two of us following him. "I don't know nor do I want to know the problem between you two, but you need to get it together. You two are going to need to be the best of friends by Monday or you both are riding the bench until I feel like you deserve to be on the court" Geno finished leaving Azzi and me to stare at the back of his body.
"I'm not reading the bench, so I guess we are going to have to figure this out" Nae spoke looking up slightly at Azzi. "Um. Yeah, sure. We can go to the mini fair they have tomorrow...I mean if you're good with it" Azzi tells her shuffling between feet awkwardly.
"Az you don't have to be awkward, our relationship ended three years ago" Nae shrugged. She was lying. She wanted nothing more, but to get back together with Azzi.
"You're right" Azzi smiled walking back into the locker room.
Here we go again...
The car ride to the fair was quiet. They didn't really talk to each other except the hi when Nae got into the car. Nae was the first to speak up as they walked into the park. "I thought we weren't being awkward anymore?" Azzi let out a small laugh. "I wasn't planning on it, but harder said then done"
Nae just nodded looking around. "How about we make a bet?" Azzi spoke walking over to the basketball hoop game. "I'm listening"
"Whoever wins has to do whatever the other person tells them for the rest of the night" Azzi smirks passing the basketball to Nae. "Deal"
Azzi went first making sixteen out of twenty three-pointers, and Nae went after making eighteen out of twenty three pointers. "You cheated, there's no way" Azzi smiled making Nae jump up and down gently pushing her.
Throughout the rest of the night, Nae made Azzi do small stupid tasks like eating a snow cone in two minutes and forcing her to ride rollercoasters with her. The two now set on the ferris wheel looking out the window.
"One last take Az"
"What is it," Azzi asked tiredly. "I want you to yell out how much better of a guard I am than you are" Nae smirked seeing the shock on her face. "If I say it we all know it isn't true" Azzi teased. "Are you serious?" Nae laughed pushing Azzi's shoulder.
"I am so serious... you can't guard me" Nae and Azzi gently pushed each other eventually stopping from how much their seat was shaking. "You're so lucky we are in the air" Nae smiled leaning her head on Azzi's shoulder.
"I missed you" Azzi whispered grabbing her hand and playing with Nae's rings. "I missed you too"
Nae looked up at Azzi making eye contact with her. "Is it bad that I want to kiss you?" Nae asked using her hand to gently caress Azzi's cheek. "Is it bad that I want you to?" Azzi leaned in closer to Nae's face placing a small but meaningful kiss on her lips.
Before Azzi could pull away Nae pulled her back in connecting their lips. Nae didn't want to take it too quickly so she pulled away after a couple of pecks.
The two sat in silence the rest of the ride allowing their conjoined hands to speak for their lack of words.
The start of a new chapter...

Keep Me Near Your Heart XXI
Tumblr media
"This all such a mess...a big mess...Why...What were you hoping to accomplish when you brought that woman here, Alicent?"
Alicent stare ahead at the flames in the fireplace despair and bitter, ignoring the woman she considered to be her second mother, she and the rest of the family were in the great chambers, Jaenara and Aemond have been gone for five days and the due date was coming up close. And no one know where they are. Their dragon are gone, of course, and nobody from Mageonste or Dragonstone seen them. It's as if they disappeared off the face of the earth, and it's all her fault.
"I can tell you that, mother. She was trying to get rid of Jaenara, so the bastard can give her a real grandchild." Aeron accused glaring at his half-sister as she sat sulking in the armchair close to the fireplace.
"You don't know if thats true, Aeron." Valaena spoke up quickly to defend her sister, she walks up  behind her husband to stand next to him.
"No, it's true." Aegon announce, getting everyone attention expect for his mother as he tilt his goblet back, "What? We all know it is." He says when he notice everyone looking at him.
Rhaelle looks away from her cousin with distress look, she was so worried about Jaenara and the babe, when she went to her chambers that night in hopes to comfort her. The young girl and her prince were no where to be find, at first Rhaelle didn't think much about it, she knew how the young girl felt and she understood that she needed time away. But, that's didn't mean she had to like the fact that her neice was in the wind.
"I still do not see why we can't go looking from them." Alys says looking over at her mother with her arms cross.
"They need to come home on their own, we can not just drag them back if they are not ready to come home and...and for all we know, maybe they don't even want to come back."
Alys frowns at her mother, before she look over at Alyssa to see her with a small frown too.
It was true. Everyone knew it. What happened at the dinner was despicable and cruel, it was obvious that Alicent wanted to get under Jaenara's skin. And they all knew why, after the private dinner that caused tension between not only Rhaenyra and her father but the king and his queen.
"Maybe, that's a good thing." Rhaenyra said.
Multiple pair of eyes glare over at her as she sat on the couch between her older and younger son, Luke look over at his mother with a deep frown.
"In why in the fuck would that be a 'good thing'" Alys hiss, rhaenyra looks over at her cousin with a placid look.
"I'm just saying, if she doesn't want to come back maybe there's more than one reason than what happened at dinner."
"Yeah, and we're looking at her right now." Baelon snips.
Rhaenyra ignore her cousin before looking at her lady wife and lord husband as daemon just walked in putting his hand on his wife back.
"You know I'm right." Rhaenyra says.
Rhaelle frown at her princess-wife before turning her attention to the queen, Jaenara didn't really talk much about the first couple of months of her marriage to Aemond. All she told us was she miscarried before this one and that's it, we probably wouldn't have known about the miscarriage if it wasn't for Alicent bringing it to light one night at dinner.
"Hard for me to say, but maybe she's right."
Rhaelle along with her kin look at Maekar with a mixture of expressions.
"Are you serious?" Baelon says in dismay, not believing what he was hearing, Maekar gives his mother a look.
"Sadly." Rhaenyra roll her eyes looking away, "But, I wouldn't put it pass Aemond to punish Jaenara for her brother's actions." Maekar looks over at Lucerys, who frown at his cousin making Jacerys glare at Maekar.
"This isn't Luke's fault."
"I didn't say it was, did i?" Maekar snip.
"Then, what are you trying to say, because last time I check. Aemond ran off with Jaenara and they seem to be  happy with one another."
"Well, if your self-righteousness wasn't blinding you, you would have notice how much your sister has change. How she doesn't smile as much as she use to or how she rather spend most of her time outside in the garden than inside the castle--" Romarn chuckles making Maekar stop to look at him.
"It sounds like you fancy her, cousin."
Maekar roll his eyes at Romarn.
"No, unlike you have a very keen sense of detail that helps me understand what's going on around me." Maekar snide, making Ronas snort.
"Sure you do, did your 'keen sense of detail' tell you anything when you were watching her and aemond cooing another that night." Ronas smirk.
Maekar swallow as he stare at his cousin, the look he was giving them was emotionless and some of the others in the room stood awkwardly silent at the tension that appear in the room.
"No." He finally answered, making Ronas raise a brow while his brother grin, "But, if you have any keen sense of a brain, I advise you to keep your asinine, which means foolish by the way, remarks to yourself unless you want to swallow all of your teeth." He threatened.
Ronas roll his eyes with a peeve look, unlike his younger brother, Romarn sneer at the older boy.
"No need to be so testy, Mae." Romarn ribbed, making Maekar flick his eyes to him,"You should learn how to take a jest, maybe then jaenara would find your company a little less intimidating." He chuckle.
Maekar narrow his eyes at his young cousin before he close his eyes and took in a deep breathe before reopening his eyes as he exhale, the rest of the clan watch holding their breath as Maekar turn his attention back to Romarn.
"Yes...Maybe your right, cousin." Romarn smirk as he raise his brow with a look, "Maybe that's why it was easy for you to get Alyaena into bed--"
"Maekar! You bastard." Alyaena cries out with a look of horror and embarrassment.
"I guess humor can be consider an aphrodisiac." He shrugs nonchalant before looking away from Romarn's shock expression, while Alyaena glare at her brother.
"Fucking pig." She mumbled making her brother look at her.
"Stop fussing. If you want to blame someone blame that idiot you let dump his seed into you--"
Alyaena growled balling her fists, she turns to Romarn who looks back at her with a fear in his eyes.
"I'm going to kill you--"
"No." Daemon was quick to around his wife and grab Alyeana's elbow before she could charge at her moronic cousin, her father pulled her back to stand between him and his wife.
"It slipped out." He said low with a sheepish look.
Alyaena roll her eyes angrily looking away from him and crossing her arms, Daemon kept a close eye on his daughter as another argument ensures.
"Slip out? More like he projectile vomited it out, he wouldn't stop talking until he finally passed out." Aegon chortles from his seat besides Adrielle and Helaena, romarn glared at aegon.
"Shut up." He snapped, "Atleast I wasn't making a fool of myself. Oh where's my belove? Where Adrielle? Where is my beautiful wife, Adrielle? Adrielle, Adrielle, Adrielle." Romarn mocks with a annoyed look, aegon scowled him before he could say anything Adrielle spoke up.
"Don't even justify that with an response, Aegon." Adrielle said leaning against Aegon, "He is just mad that he doesn't have the type of relationship you and I have." Adrielle looks at her lover who gaze at her with a lovesick smile, Aegor stood behind his adopted sister with a shake of a head.
"A relationship build on empty promises and lies, why would anyone want such a union."
Adrielle snap her head around to glare at Aegor, he looks back at her with a raise brow with a look that made her look away with a bitter mood.
"Well, not all of us are bless to be born a boy, little brother. Not all of us have a say in what we can do in our life--"
"Stop it." Aeron interrupted.
"Don't you dare blame my gender for your shortcomings, big sister." He sneer, "It is not my fault that you can't learn to keep your legs close, or mouth for that matter."
"Aegor, that's enough! Apologize to your sister." Valaena chided with a displease look, Aegor look over at his mother before looking back at his sister.
He look at her for a minute, she had a brow raise high with a smug look, she mouth taunts at him as aegon looks at him with a sneer.
"I'll apologize when she pray to the gods for forgiveness."
"For what?" Adrielle gives him a offended look, Aegor tilt his head to the side.
"For killing your baby."
Adrielle's face drop along with Aegon, the room went quiet, so quiet that rhaelle could hear the rats in the walls.
"What is he talking about, Adrielle." The young princess drop her gaze to the floor, "...Aegor." Aeron turn his accusing eyes to his eldest son, who averted his own to anywhere that wasn't his family.
"Maybe, this should be discuss in a more private setting–" Rhaelle started.
"No! There's no need for that...I already got my answer."
Aegor and Adrielle look towards each other before looking at their father, Aeron stare at them with a coldness that they never been on the receiving end of before.
"Papa--" Adrielle start with tears in her eyes but Aeron raise up a hand stopping her.
"Don't." He drop his hand with an exhale, "I have allow you to do..whatever you want for the pass seventeen years, mainly because of your mother, but now I see I should have done more." He nodded to himself before he looks up at his daughter, he glance at aegon before looking at adrielle, "This decision hurts me more than you can ever imagine." Adrielle frown at her father's words before staring in confound as he turn on his heels walking away.
"What does that mean?" She asked once he left out the door, Adrielle look at her mother and grandmother, "M-Mama, what does father speak of?" She asked desperately, Valaena snap out of her thoughts before she looks at her daughter.
Valaena didn't say a word as she turns making Adrielle stand up from the couch, she called for her mother again only for it to fall on deaf ears as Valaena left quickly. Adrielle stood in the middle of the room feeling as if her world just came crumbling around her, Aegon glance at Helaena who stare at Adrielle with worry.
Alyssa was the first to move as she stood and walk over to her cousin, she touch Adrielle's shoulder gently as the other girl stare blankly at the door.
"Adrielle...Are you alright?" Alyssa whispered moving to stand beside her.
Adrielle didn't respond instead she starts crying, she covered her mouth before she stumble forward towards the door.
"Adrielle!" Aegon called after concerned before getting off the couch with Helaena in toe.
They left the great chambers to follow after Adrielle, the rest of the family stood still watching in utter shock. Again, Alyssa was the first to move and she turn to Aegor with a look, making the other boy sense his belove heated gaze.
"Don't look at me like that, she started--"
"Your an ass, Aegor." Alyssa snapped making Aegor roll his eyes.
"Spare me, please." He started, "She did it to herself, if she stop pushing me--"
"You could have walked away." Baelon said, Aegor look at him.
"Would you and Alys."
Baelon glance at Alys before shrugging his shoulders.
"Fair point."
Alyssa rolled her eyes at him putting her attention back on her nephew.
"You had no right--" She pointed at him.
"Gods! Why is it every time something happens between me and adrielle, im the one at fault and not her."
"That's not true, darling." Rhaelle said.
"But, it is, my mother has always taken adrielle's side and father only does what mother tells him to do." He says, "It's not fair she never gets in trouble...never." he looks at Alyssa before shaking his head and stalk towards the door.
Rhaelle touch his arm but he only kept walking, Alyssa goes after him not before giving her mother a look that she take care of him before leaving out the door.
"Can this day get any worse." Alyaena utter under her breathe before flopping down on the couch that was inhabited by Adrielle, Aegon, and Helaena.
Just as she said that Alicent gets up from her chair catching everybody's else attention, the queen turns slowly looking over towards rhaelle with red eyes and dried tears covered her flush cheeks.
"Do you really wish to know why I brought Alys River here?" Alicent said in a low and empty voice, rhaelle swallow eyeing Alicent, "I brought her here because I knew if jaenara saw her...she fall back into desolation, she would have shut herself out, stop eating, and slowly fade away in her room like before. She would have loss the baby but...atleast Aemond would have had Rivers and their child in the end." Alicent finish, she glance around the room fo Daemon along with his children glare at her with hate, while Rhaenyra and her son were unbothered by her words.
Alicent snap her eyes to rhaelle when the old queen took a step forward before walking up to her, Alicent straighten her back and she close her eyes, hoping the slap would be painful. She waited for a moment, but nothing came, she opened her eyes and she felt her heart crack in her ribcage as she stare back at the disappointed and unforgiving eyes of her step-mother.
Rhaelle gaze over Alicent's features trying to figure out what she did to make Alicent like this, all she ever done was be a good mother to her and love her like she birth her. But, love from rhaelle wasn't enough for the queen, or maybe there wasn't love in her at all, maybe Otto made sure of that.
Alicent held her breathe when rhaelle opened her mouth, but rhaelle stop herself and purse her mouth shut. She looks at Alicent with a tired a look before she turn away from her, Alicent watch with furrow brows as the rest of the family follow after the former queen.
Rhaenyra was the last to leave, she held onto the handle of the door before looking at Alicent. The queen stood there hollow as tears gathered in her eyes again, Alicent look at Rhaenyra finally, they stare at each other for a moment before Alicent was the first to look away and turn back to the fure. Rhaenyra watch as she sat back down again and went back to staring emotionless like statue at the fireplace, the older princess slowly closing the door behind her as a feeling she never thought she feel for Alicent again appeared.

Chapter 1 : The Sun
Word Count: Approximately 1,162 words. Summary: The story begins with a nine-year-old Clark Kent watching as new neighbors, the Johnson family, move into the farmhouse next door.
The Kansas sun hung high in the sky, casting long shadows across the golden fields surrounding the Kent farm. Nine-year-old Clark Kent sat on the porch steps, his legs swinging back and forth as he watched the dust trail behind the moving truck rolling down the narrow dirt road. The truck creaked to a stop beside the neighboring farmhouse, a place that had been empty for as long as Clark could remember.
Clark tugged at the edge of his flannel shirt, feeling a mixture of curiosity and nervousness. New neighbors weren’t exactly common in Smallville, and the idea of meeting someone new made his heart race a little. He glanced back at the screen door behind him, where his mom, Martha Kent—or Ma Kent as everyone in town called her—was finishing up in the kitchen.
“You ready to meet the new folks?” Ma asked as she stepped out, carrying a large apple pie wrapped in a checkered cloth. Her smile was bright, but she had a keen way of noticing when Clark was uneasy.
“Yeah, I guess,” Clark replied, his voice a little higher than usual. He wasn’t scared exactly, but he couldn’t help feeling a little jittery.
Ma laughed softly and set the pie down for a moment, kneeling beside him. “They’re just people, Clark. Probably nervous, just like you are. But what’s the best way to meet new folks?”
Clark rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t help grinning. “With kindness,” he said, parroting what Ma had told him a hundred times before.
“That’s right.” She ruffled his hair gently. “Now come on. Let’s give ‘em a proper Smallville welcome.”
Clark hopped off the porch, his boots kicking up little puffs of dirt as he and his mother made their way across the field that separated their farm from the neighbors’. He could see two men unloading furniture from the truck, lifting a couch and a couple of boxes toward the house. A woman stood nearby, shading her eyes with one hand as she surveyed the work. As Ma and Clark approached, the woman turned toward them and smiled.
“Hello there!” Ma Kent called out cheerfully, waving with her free hand.
The woman wiped her hands on her apron and walked over to greet them. Her hair was pulled into a neat bun, and her brown skin glowed in the sunlight. She looked warm and welcoming, the kind of person who could put anyone at ease with just a smile.
“Well, hello!” she said, her voice bright and full of energy. “You must be the Kents! I’m Flora Johnson. We’ve heard so many good things about you already.”
“And we’ve been lookin’ forward to meeting you,” Ma Kent replied, offering the pie with both hands. “We brought a little something—hope you all like apple pie.”
Flora’s eyes lit up as she accepted the pie. “Apple pie? Oh, this is just perfect! Thank you so much, Martha.” She handed Ma Kent a large glass jar filled with amber-colored honey. “My husband and I keep bees, so here’s a little something from our hive. You’ll never find better honey.”
Clark stood quietly by Ma’s side, his eyes flicking between the two women. He wasn’t sure when he was supposed to speak, and he felt like he was too big to hide behind Ma’s skirt but too shy to just stand there.
Flora seemed to notice Clark for the first time, her eyes softening as she bent down slightly to his level. “And who’s this handsome young man?”
“This is my son, Clark,” Ma Kent said with a proud smile. “Clark, say hello to Mrs. Johnson.”
Clark’s ears burned red as he mumbled, “Hello, ma’am,” keeping his eyes on the ground.
Flora chuckled softly. “A little shy, huh? Don’t worry, my daughter’s the same way. She’s around your age, but she’s probably hiding out in the barn right now. She’s not too thrilled about moving.”
Ma Kent gave Clark a gentle nudge. “Why don’t you go introduce yourself, Clark? I’m sure she’d love to meet someone her own age.”
Clark hesitated for a moment, but the idea of meeting someone new tugged at him, curiosity outweighing his nerves. “Okay,” he said, giving his mom a quick nod before walking toward the barn, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets.
As he rounded the side of the barn, he spotted a girl standing on the other side of a wooden fence. Her curly black hair, tied back with a red scarf, bounced as she tried to scramble over the fence. Her overalls, covered in tiny embroidered flowers, were dirt-smudged, and her face was scrunched up in concentration as she pulled herself up, one foot barely managing to hook over the top rail.
Clark watched for a moment, biting back a laugh, before stepping closer. “Uh, what’re you doing?”
The girl startled, her grip slipping as she dropped back down to the ground with a soft thud. She spun around, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. “I’m tryin’ to leave,” she muttered, wiping her hands on her overalls as she glared at him. “What’s it to you?”
Clark blinked, caught off guard by her bluntness. “Leave? But… you just got here.”
Layla frowned and crossed her arms. “I don’t like it here. What if the people here are mean? I don’t know anyone, and I don’t wanna be here.”
Clark tilted his head, thinking for a second before he stepped a little closer. “I’m not mean. And you know me now.”
The girl huffed but didn’t say anything, her stubbornness starting to crack a little.
“I’ll be your friend,” Clark said simply, his voice full of warmth. “That way, you don’t have to worry about not knowin’ anyone. I’m Clark, by the way.”
Layla’s frown slowly melted into something softer as she stared at him. Her cheeks flushed slightly as she dropped her arms to her sides. “I’m Layla,” she said quietly, kicking at the dirt with her boot. “You really wanna be my friend?”
Clark shrugged like it was the easiest thing in the world. “Why not? We’re neighbors, right? And I don’t got many friends either.”
Layla’s eyes widened a little, as if she couldn’t quite believe he meant it. She glanced back at the fence for a moment, then at Clark. Finally, she gave a small, hesitant smile. “You don’t seem like a bad neighbor.”
Clark smiled back, feeling a sense of relief and happiness spread through him. “And you don’t seem so bad yourself.”
Layla took a step forward, a little more confident now. “So… what do you do around here? Is there anything fun?”
Clark thought for a moment, then grinned. “Well, there’s a creek just down the hill. We can catch frogs and stuff. And sometimes Pa lets me drive the tractor. It’s pretty cool.”
Layla raised an eyebrow. “You can drive a tractor?”
Clark puffed out his chest a little. “Yup! Well, mostly just steer it. But it’s still fun.”
Layla giggled, the sound light and free. “Alright, that sounds kinda fun. Maybe this place won’t be so bad after all.”
Clark beamed, glad that he had managed to cheer her up. “Come on, I’ll show you the creek. It’s not far.”
Layla hesitated for a second, then nodded. “Okay, but you better not trick me.”
“I won’t!” Clark said with a laugh, already turning to lead the way. “Promise.”
As they walked back toward the barn, Layla glanced over at Clark, a small smile playing on her lips. Maybe this new place wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Taleah as a Jujutsu sorcerer
Tumblr media
Her power is based on Black Body Radiation. She's able to generate heat from any part of her body. Basically, she can incinerate her opponents. And that makes her untouchable like Gojo (Unless you like...stab her?). Yes, she's special grade.
Probably work well with blacksmiths too.

Bandage Me Up | Steve Rogers x Black Female OC
"Nat and Thor, I need you guys together. We'll need the lightning to activate the pod, and Nat can rush in and recover the package. Tony and Clint, you'll stay closer to the chopper on the left for cover. Peter and Bruce, you'll be a bit further into the area on the right side for cover. Steve and I," Thenia's eyes moved from the holographic screen to Cap, "will be recovering the sceptre." She tore her eyes away from his gaze, redirecting her attention to everyone else.
It was her first time running a mission, and as much as she told myself otherwise, Thene was a little nervous. Not because she wasn't ready; she was. Thenia had been Steve's right hand for months, learning the ropes, organising positions, observing everything he did. She was more than ready. But anything could go wrong at any moment, and she knew that.
"Any questions?"
Tony, who had his feet up on the table, lifted up a hand, "yeah, how long do you estimate this whole escapade is gonna take?"
Thene tilted her head from left to right, "if you don't count flight time, it shouldn't take us more than two hours. Ninety minutes if we're quick."
"Ninety?!"
"We have to take into account the amount of time it'll take us to neutralise as many drones and clones as we can. If you want to go faster, Tony, be my guest." Steve gave Tony a small smile as he challenged the man.
With a sigh, Tony relented. "Alright. That's all I wanted to know."
Thene looked around the room, "any other questions?" Their silence was the only response she needed.
"Great. Wheels up in two hours."
Everyone shuffled out of the room, one by one, until it was just Thenia and Steve left. She grabbed her water bottle, ready to leave as well, when Steve stood in front of the door so that she couldn't. Even though she stood taller than a lot of women at 5 '10, Thenia still had to look up at Steve for them to be eye to eye.
"What?" She asked, looking up into the man's eyes.
He stepped a bit closer to her, "you've been avoiding me."
She laughed and looked away, somewhere off in the distance so that she could avoid eye contact. "No, I haven't," she lied. One of the downsides of being such close friends with Steve was that he knew how to read her face, and he knew when something was going on with her.
Steve reached out and touched her arm, his eyes still fixed on her. "We have to be a team today, and I don't want us going into this with any distractions." Thenia kept her eyes off of him as he talked.
Steve sighed, "Thene. We have to be able to communicate." He put a hand under her chin, then tipped her face up so that she was forced to look him in the eyes. "You have to be able to look at me."
"I'm looking at you, okay? I'm fine. Let's just go, I wanna get something to eat," she pulled his hand away from her face, then finally left the room. Although he wanted to say more, he let it go at that moment and followed her out.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if someone in hell had the power to decide a sinner's fate or even give someone living a longer or shorter life? It's a thought-provoking idea, isn't it?
Let me tell you about Harmonia. She is a fascinating character who has been around for a long time. Due to her unique abilities and how they work, she was given the name Harmonia. Before that, she didn't have a name. Harmonia's power is to make decisions about people's lives, which is why she is known as the "Sand of Life."  One grain of sand in her hourglass can make a huge difference in anyone's life. She can decide who lives and dies, who gets a longer life, and who gets a shorter one. Her powers are not limited to humans only. She can also decide the fate of animals and other beings.
Harmonia's age is around the same as Zestial's, but not much is known about her. She is mysterious and keeps to herself, rarely interacting with others. Some say she has a heart of stone, while others believe she is a compassionate and fair judge. Just make sure you provide her with the proper payment she desire; One joke to talk and a laugh grants you a possible favor.

Garden Kisses Chapter Three
Tumblr media
Aaliyah always loved the dinner they had on the first night. though the food had always been something different, most of it stayed the same. the way they sat around the table, the way the food was passed around, who started what first, usually steven picking at belly.
liyah had always sat in the middle of belly and conrad. jeremiah and steven sat across from them, the layla on the left of steven and laurel right in front of her. susannah always sat at the head of the table.
the mothers' bond had been thicker than blood. they always said they were soul sisters, each coming from different backgrounds, but coming together with love for one another and treating each of the other children as their own.
belly and liyah had been discussing their plans for the night, the latter had already told her mother about the bonfire and was allowed to go. belly on the other hand hadn't.
liyah was trying to convince belly to go with her so she wouldn't be alone, even saying that they didn't have to go right away and that they could go after their swim. belly sat, weighing the options, ultimately deciding against.
they had been interrupted by the loud laughter that was coming from across the table. looking up, liyah saw that steven had been showing jeremiah something on his phone. shaking her head, she knew it was only seconds away before laurel had interrupted them by telling them about the no-phone rule.
"steven, i swear to god if you look at that phone one more time. i'm putting in the screen basket."
every summer, since the kids were old enough to even have a phone, laurel and layla had put in a "no phones at the dinner table" rule. and throughout the years they slimmed it down to, "no phones at the dinner table on the first night" rule. aaliyah was usually good with that since she didn't really use her phones that much the first day or night, wanting to soak in everything at once even the things that had changed.
"we just want to see your beautiful faces." susannah had said smiling at the boys.
"can dinner be a screen-free zone?" layla had questioned also smiling at the boys.
steven who obviously hadn't been paying attention had scrolled on his phone again.
"steven." jeremiah had said to the boy in disbelief, he quickly grabbed steven's phone and stood up.
"dude! are you kidding me?" steven let out as jeremiah launched his phone onto the seat behind liyah.
"boom! nailed it."
"okay, we get it. you've been working out."
"oh you're just jealous because jere has a better body than you." belly said poking at her brother.
"uh no, actually, it's all about the lean look now." steven began to defend himself.
"oh really?" liyah questioned, quirking her eyebrow upwards as a smirk began to settle on her face.
"yeah, otherwise you can't wear tailored suits." the boy finished, earning a couple of laughs from the table.
"hey," liyah said turning toward the older fisher boy, "when are you leaving for training camp con?"
the table had gotten quiet as everyone had turned towards the two. jeremiah had begun to look between them before saying that his brother had quit football.
the room had grown into a thick silence, steven and liyah breaking it.
"what—dude?—"
"wait really?" steven looked towards susannah, "are you kidding me, man? i'd kill to play college ball." steven said in shock.
"you'd kill to get off the bench." liyah had said under her breath, earning a snicker from belly.
"he can always change his mind." susannah smiled at the children.
"not gonna change my mind." conrad had said, interrupting his mother. "anyways, i was just gonna sit on the bench all season."
"well, if you're not playing football anymore, what are you gonna do all summer?"
steven sat for a moment, "oh, dude, you can work at the club. yeah, with me and jere. yeah."
"I'm not gonna work at the club." conrad laughed sarcastically.
"wait, you guys are working this summer?" belly and liyah had questioned the two boys in front of them.
"yeah, i'm lifeguarding, and steven's working at the snack shop." the two fist bumped, jeremiah's smile dropping a little as he saw the disbelief on liyah's face.
every summer the two had hung out. whether it be walks around the town, swimming at the beach, having picnics whenever wherever, or even working at the little ice cream shack that was a couple minutes away from fisher home. they were always together.
"oh, belly, liyah. i almost forgot. i have a surprise for you." susannah broke the silence by getting up and picking up two letters from the cabinet behind her.
she handed belly both the letters, belly handing liyah hers and the girl's face lit up.
"so, this is why you had to stop by the country club." laurel let out, shaking her head disappointedly. susannah just smiled at her as she sat back down.
"what, uh, what is that?" steven said, craning his neck over the table to get a look at the letters in the two girls hands.
liyah hid the envelope in her chest shooting steven a bothered look, "nosy much steven?"
"i wrangled belly an invitation to be a debutante."
"why does liyah have one?" everyone's head turning towards jeremiah as he questioned.
"well, i was cooking dinner so i didn't have time to pick hers up." layla said lifting up her glass to take a drink.
"wait... wait, seriously?" liyah looked toward her mother in surprise.
her and her parents always talked about liyah wanting to be a debutant, especially since there had been similarities to her debut. the girl's running argument was that if she had practice, she would be perfect on her 18th birthday.
"is that the thing where the girls wear white dresses and curtsy?" belly asked, unsure of herself.
"yes—but, it's when a girl comes of age and is presented to society." liyah quietly corrected belly.
"i know it sounds silly, but I swear it's fun." susannah said, "girls come from all over new England to cousins just to be a part of it. you'll make so many new friends."
laurel reached for her glass taking the last sip of her wine before letting out, "i cannot believe you are still holding on to this archaic dream." getting up to grab the bottle of wine in the kitchen.
when she came back she had shot a look at layla, "and i can't believe that you, are going through with this."
"no, it used to be about finding a husband, but now it's about networking. they teach you leadership skills, like how to market yourself, and it benefits charity."
"hey-- liyah want's to do this, and we've talked it through. so me and daniel decided that it would be a great opportunity for aaliyah. so she can branch out and discover new things." layla said, also pouring herself some more of the wine that laurel had brought out.
"it's, um, like a bat mitzvah."
"it is not like a bat mitzvah." the korean woman snorted, "there is nothing religious about a debutante ball."
"the whole deb scene is bullshit. it's for sheep." conrad let out, uninterested in the conversation.
"no, it's not. it's when a girl has a coming out, it's a formal recognition she's reached maturity." layla had said to conrad.
"oh, sorry. i'm sorry. mature?" steven chocked out.
"yes." susannah and layla had answered the boy.
"belly? aaliyah?" steven pointed at the two young girls infront of him, earning a questioned look from both of them.
the two mothers nodded in confirmation to the boy's question.
"a-a couple of months ago you had a cat funeral. you made us all wear black. and liyah cried because the bow she got for cheer two years ago had her name spelled wrong."
"shut up, steven."
"kiss my ass." liyah and belly had said to the boy, the former kicking him under the table.
"i saw you crying in your room." belly had continued.
"and you are the least mature person i know steven." liyah rolled her eyes at the face the boy made at her, further proving her point.
"wait, mochi died?" liyah said turning to her friend, saddened by the news of the beloved cat.
"dang. i'm sorry, bells." jeremiah had apologized."
"belly. don't you want to get all dressed up?" susannah questioned turning towards the conklin girl.
as she sat and questioned her mother spoke, "it's just not belly's kind of thing. she's our feral little alley cat."
"i'll think about it."
"she'll think about it." susannah said, sitting contently on the girl's words.
dinner had ended a couple minutes after that, the kids putting the dishes in the dishwasher as the moms cleared the table. liyah, belly, steven, and jeremiah had made their way upstairs. steven to the bathroom and the other three to their respective rooms.
—————————————————
sometime had passed, steven and jeremiah could be heard singing their hearts out in the bathroom. belly had been outside aaliyah's door.
"liyah come on." belly had been knocking on the girl's door for the past ten minutes, impatiently and growing tired of waiting for her.
the slightly older girl had been getting ready to head out, she wouldn't be joining belly on her swim but there in support.
"i'm coming, i'm coming." liyah replied, opening the door to her room and earning a finally from the taller girl.
the two made their way down the stairs, passing their mothers who had stopped them on the way.
"hey, night swim?" layla said turning her neck to face the girls.
"night swim."
"hey girls, how many followers on instagram is a lot?" laurel had questioned them, making the girls turn and give confused looks to each other.
"well that depends, is the person famous? or are they verified?" liyah had said once she had turned to face the mothers again.
"what verified?" it was layla's turn to question.
"here let me see," belly had said grabbing the phone from her mother and turning to show liyah, "150,000, yeah that's a lot."
"cleveland castile? i think taylor's dad has a book from him."
"yeah tatay does too." liyah replied before handing laurel her phone back.
the girls had finally made their way to the backyard, spotting conrad taking a hit from a joint.
"damn save some for me connie." liyah had joked as she made her way to the older boy.
"i thought you said smoking pot changes the way your brain processes information.". belly had said, confused as the boy had taken another hit.
"so does your cell phone." conrad replied smartly to the girl.
belly had dived into the pool as liyah had sat next to conrad, dipping her feet in the water as belly had resurfaced.
"you said marijuana messes with white matter." belly stated back to the boy.
"do you even know what white matter is?"
"you said our brains are still developing and that—" belly had trailed off leaving conrad to question her.
"god, do you memorize every single thing that i've ever said?" conrad joked, belly hadn't caught onto the joke.
"get over yourself." belly scoffed, swimming backwards, "i mean, conrad, you're the one who said that-that smoking's dumb and that real athletes don't put shit in their bodies."
"don't be a jackass conrad.". liyah had replied, elbowing the boy before taking the joint out of his hand and taking a hit.
"aaliyah." belly had said sternly, narrowing her eyes at the girl.
"don't judge me bells, you know i've put worse in my body, it's literally in my room right now." liyah had returned the look before taking about her hit and passing the joint to conrad, referring to the blue and purple plastic tube that had been in her jacket pocket since the sunset.
"and i'm not even in season so." liyah had continued.
"i said a lot of stuff, and i'm not an athlete anymore, so..." conrad had trailed off taking the joint from liyah.
"well, i still think you should quit." belly said still looking at liyah, meaning she had been talking about her too.
"What'll you give me if I do?" conrad taunted, earning surprised looks from both liyah and belly. liyah's eyes going wide at the boy's out right flirt.
"nothing. i think you should quit for yourself."
"hey, why are you two considering this debutante thing?" he questioned earning a confused look from liyah.
"i don't know. i mean, it's not like i have anything else going on." belly replied as she began to swim backwards.
"and you know i've been looking forward to this."
"i know "it's extra practice for my 18th" i've heard you say it a thousand times."
"i don't sound like that dickwad." liyah joked, rolling her eyes at the impression conrad did.
"but it's not you." conrad had turned to belly, "don't let my mom make you her little doll just because she never had a daughter."
the conversation began to become really heavy so liah decided to tune it out, getting pulled out of her thoughts when conrad held the joint out to her.
liyah had taken the joint from conrad's grasp again taking a hit, and just as she was blowing out the smoke the back door had opened again, revealing jeremiah and steven.
"first bonfire of the summer!" steven exclaimed as her and jeremiah made their way towards the three.
"all right, we're totally taking my car. you're not driving." jeremiah said, pointing at steven at then end earning a laugh from him.
"come on, man, we're leaving. you ready?" the boy asked rushing conrad in a way.
"can i come, too?" belly moved toward the edge of the pool, place her head on her hands.
"Uh, no." steven let out rudely.
"don't be a dick steven." liyah had said handing conrad the joint back, discreetly though non of the other kids had known of the girl's smoking habit.
not that it was a habit, it was just something she did occasionally.
"the moms are getting everything set up for your movie night." jeremiah had said sweetly to the two girls.
"have fun with the moms!" the boys let out as they walked away from the backyard.
—————————————————
after an hour or two, the two girls had walked in to the house—being hit with the smell of brownies and popcorn.
"hey bells, go put the dvd in. do we have to watch it happened one night??"
"oh i'm sorry, i won't be able to join y'all tonight, i have plans." liyah said, feeling bad that she was ditching the moms on their tradition.
"we know li, and i hope you know you're making up for it tomorrow night.". susannah said poking the girl in her side, earning a small giggle from the girl.
"definitely, i'm gonna go upstairs and get ready." liyah had went around give the moms a hug and kiss good night and ending at her mother in which layla had told her to be safe.
"i will, i promise. i'm not even going to be doing anything just sitting by the fire. also can i take the car? i don't want to walk all that way."
"sure baby, just be safe. you never know what kinds of crazies are on the street at night." earning a yes ma'am she kissed her daughter on the check and made her way to the living room, arms full with snacks.
although liyah had already been ready, she wanted to collect herself before making her way to do something that was slightly out her comfort zone.
making her way to the stairs, liyah had missed the conversation between the other mother daughter duo as she went up the stairs.
liyah opened the door to her room and grabbed her make up bag before sitting down at her vanity and reapplying anything that needed to be fixed up. she did her makeup as fast as she could, the party had started almost an hour ago and she didn't want to be even more late.
the girl made her way out of her room and towards the youngest conklin's door as she noticed it her light had been on. incoming she waiting until she heard a come in.
walking in the room, liyah hadn't noticed the girl had been in the phone. "hey bells i'm leaving, are you sure you don't want to come?"
"yeah, i'm sure. i'm just gonna head to bed."
"belly who are you— oh, hey oliah." the voice in belly's phone let out.
resisting the urge to role her eyes at the voice, and the way her name was pronounced. liyah made her way back to the door and gave belly a goodnight before exiting.
she made her way down the stairs and passed the mothers in the living room giving a quick goodbye as she grabbed the keys to the car.
liyah made her way outside and to the car, getting in and starting it she took a couple of seconds to get settled and connect her phone to the bluetooth. after deciding on a playlist she backed out of the driveway and onto the road. although the drive was only fifteen minutes. liyah sang along to the current sza song that had been playing.
aaliyah had arrived to the beach, thankfully whoever had decided to come came on either their bikes or car-pooled so she had been able to park near the shore. she had spotted the familiar red jeep and had parked next it, liyah turned off the car and gave herself a pep talk before getting out of the vehicle.
"okay, you got this, just take some deep breath's. meet up with the boys and you got this." rubbing her hands from the top of her head and pausing at the nape of her neck, she leaned back closing her eyes.
following her advice, the young teen took a deep breath before opening her eyes taking her seatbelt off and getting out of the car.
she turned and made sure to double lock the car, and began walking towards the beach. the path that she took had been cleared of any fallen debris and was smooth for the most part.
the walk took no longer than three minutes, but the girl had gotten cold on the way down silently cursing herself for not bringing a heavier jacket with her.
all she had on was a light zip up, a cami and jean shorts. maybe she should have checked the weather before leaving the house. but still she pushed forward, shivering a tiny bit.
she had finally made it to the bonfire, in which she was greeted by nobody. she'd hadn't seen anyone that she recognized, also deciding against wearing her glasses so she wouldn't really know if someone she knew had been there.
she walked a little closer to the fire when she saw conrad, he had been sitting with a pretty girl with box braids and a baseball cap on.
not wanting to bother him she moved a little farther, noticing that steven had been in a circle with his arm around a girl's shoulder. realizing that she had been staring a little too much she moved her head around, landing on jeremiah.
the boy had also been in the circle with steven. she made her way over raising her hand and had been ready to call out to jeremiah when the circle dispersed and the tall boy had been left alone.
not totally alone, for he also had his arm around a girl, he leaned close to her to whisper in her ear—earning a giggle from her and a slap on the chest. he began to laugh as well as he leaned down towards the girl again, this time capturing her lips in his.
liyah backed up when she saw this. her heart breaking a little.

I Miss You, I’m Sorry.
Armando Aretas x black!female reader
🎧- I miss you, I’m sorry- Gracie Abram’s
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: in an attempt to guard his heart, Armando pushes you away. But how far is too far? And will he ever have a chance to tell you his true feelings?
themes: angst and fluff.
warnings: gore and blood, kidnapping and murder mentioned.
authors note: I’m still obsessed with Armando. The more I think of him, the more I wonder how broken he must be and how confused and overwhelmed he might feel. I hope it can be explored more in future films <3
Tumblr media
Hot and iced coffee was passed around to everyone in the compound, everyone but Armando.
You passed them out with a smile, never once looking his way.
The avoidance was purposeful, he could feel it in the way chills spread wide throughout his chest, desperate for the warmth of your gaze.
But you never gave it to him.
And maybe that had something to do with last night.
How he’d gone too far for the last time.
Last night, Armando was in a mood, working late at the compound. You’d found him crushing the weights, pressing out every dreading thought lingering in his head.
Like always, you’d been attempting to talk to him, let him see that he wasn’t alone.
You had approached him just as he was re-racking his weights and heading over to the treadmill.
With a small smile, you handed him a sweat towel. “What’s on your mind?” You asked, gently.
Armando wiped his face with the towel, tossing it to the side. “Nothing.” He grumbled.
You sighed, crossing your arms. “I know you’re lying. You only stay this late and train this hard when somethings bothering you.”
Armando eyed you, the fury of his troubles—his mothers lies and manipulation, all the innocence he’s lost as he killed for her, only for his life and legacy to amount up to nothing—glazing behind his eyes.
“Don’t try your psychologist bullshit on me.” He grumbled.
You swallow. “It is my job.”
“Not with me it’s not,’ he sizes you up with his shirtless frame.
“Armando, that’s not what I’m doing. I’m just checking on you, making sure you’re okay.”
“What do you even know about me?”
You place a hand on his chest, fingers caressing his heart. Armando tries not to melt at the touch, wishing he wasn’t so starved for this kind of affection all his life.
“I know your heart, and I know it’s heavy, because we’re friends.” You say.
Armando grabs your hand, removing it from his chest, before his body decides to suddenly combust.
He lets out a low, resentful chuckle. Armando didn’t have friends. He couldn’t even trust his own blood, let alone some stranger like you.
He didn’t know why you continuously tried to look for the good in him.
There wasn’t any.
He was a cold, hearted killer. And no amount of hugs, smiles, or coffee runs would change that. He wished you’d stop, because he would only hurt you with expectations in the end.
“Who ever said we were friends?” Armando says, coldly.
You frown. “I just thought—,”
Armando presses the treadmills start button, rubber fills the air with a stench.
“I’m surprised you can think, because if you could, you would have notice that our relationship is one sided.”
You frown, clutching at the bottom of your skirt. “Armando, you don’t mean the things you’re saying.” You croak. “I know you don’t.”
Armando takes a step forward, his rising anger pushing you back into a punching bag.
Cornered, Armando leans into. “I mean every, fucking, word.”
You slip past the punching bag, shaking your head. “No.”
Armando can see the tears building in your eyes. His heart burns, but a deep breath snuffs out the flames.
“Yes. Now leave me the fuck alone and get the fuck out before I say something we both regret.”
Armando points to the door.
You bite your lips, salty tears leaking one by one against your warm brown skin.
Armando’s fist shake at his sides, wishing he could punch himself as he watches you leave.
He thought, like many times before you’d be over the spat. But he was wrong, because you still haven’t looked his way.
And he’d kill just to have one last glance at your eyes.
By the time lunch roles around, you and Armando still haven’t talked.
The silence was killing him.
So the moment you hit the corner, walking back from your lunch break, Armando grabs you up, pulling you into a quiet room.
“What the hell,” you push away from him. “Did you just kidnap me?”
“Kidnapping would require me to take you to a second location.”
You roll your eyes, walking towards the door. “Please move. I’m leaving for my prison sessions soon.”
“You still working there part time?” Armando questions. “It’s dangerous.”
You roll your eyes. “Maybe you should come visit for a session one day, considering your mental deficiencies.”
You attempt to leave, but Armando’s hand sticks out, blocking your exit. “You’re not going anywhere, not until you tell me your issue. Are you still mad about what I said last night?”
You pause, folding your arms over your chest. “I thought you wanted me to leave you the fuck alone?”
“So this about last night.’ Armando smacks his lips. “That’s petty.”
“Petty?’ You throw your keys and purse down. “More like downright disrespectful, Armando.”
“Do you want an apology or something?” Armando scoffs.
“No, actually, I came to terms with some things after I left you last night.”
Armando’s eyebrows raise. “Yeah, and what’s that?”
Your smile is crooked, hurt, and so unlike you. “That you were right last night, we aren’t friends.’ You grab your belongings and brush past him. “So let’s continue to act like it, yeah?” You slam the door shut behind yourself, leaving Armando more hallow than before you two had even spoke.
Armando rubs a hand over his face, his hands eventually finding their way to his hips as he lets out a loud sigh.
Had he made the right choice? Had everything he’d said last night been the truth?
Or was he just afraid of the possibility that his mother wasn’t the only one who could betray him? Or that one day you’d go against your gut and see that there was no light in him, at all, and all he’d do is snuff yours out if you got to close.
It wasn’t clear, the truth muddied by desire and fear, but maybe the space was safer for you in the long run. Neither of you could be hurt that way, anyhow.
May he should take you up on your offer and go for a therapy session.
Armando finds his way back inside the compound where he sees the team gathered around one of the large plasma screams, watching a large, bloody fight play out.
“What’s going on?” He asks, catching everyone’s attention.
The footage pauses and everyone remains silent.
Mike swallows, consoling Kelly as she wipes at the tears on her face.
“A riot broke out at the prison.” Dorn swallows hard. “And there’s not doubt that she’s been taken hostage by a patient of hers.”
Armando blinks, shaking his head. “Hostage?” He swallows, his throat drying up. “What the hell do you mean, hostage?”
“I mean the guards can’t find her anywhere in the prison and her office looks like a struggles taken place.’ Dorn sighs, taking a seat. “We can’t even get in contact with her.”
Armando’s fist curl up as he stalks over to Dorn with a fury. “Well you better keep fucking trying geek squad.”
Dorn stands, sizing Armando up. “You don’t think I’m trying. The place is a fucking dead zone right now, no one can get into anything!”
Mike slips between the two, asserting his weight and presence. Armando pushes against him, flashes of what could be your fate play in his mind. “Well try harder, we need her exact location.’ He turns, heading to the armory. “We leave in thirty.”
Kelly stands. “Hold on, leave and go where? We don’t have clearance there.”
Armando slams his hands against the cages guarding the Armory, sending a shock wave through the compound. “Listen here, I don’t give a shit about clearance, and neither should any of y’all. If it was any one of us in that situation, she wouldn’t hesitate, so we should do the same.”
The group is quiet before they join Armando in the armory. They work in heavy silence as they suit up, cleaning and checking their guns.
Armando’s mind reels and slips, imagining what could happen to you. You had no combat or weapons training in the fiel, your specialties lied in communications as a liaison officer for the department. You also oversee some of AMMO’s operations along side Rita.
Going back to school for a PHD in psychology was merely prideful, as you didn’t need too, leading you to work on a thesis in regards to the psychology and reform of prisoners, which is exactly why you were missing now.
If anything happened to you, Armando didn’t think his heart could handle the massive guilt of pushing you away last night and letting you leave today. If someone could grant him one last wish to cling onto you and never let you loose, he’d take it in a heartbeat.
“Armando,’ Mike says, his voice crashing over Armando’s thoughts like a wave. “You ready?”
Armando clocks his gun, shoving a knife into his pants pocket.
“Yeah.” He says.
Mike pats his shoulders. “We’ll bring her home, okay.”
Adrenaline didn’t allow for Armando’s pride to take control, he just nodded, following behind the team as they stepped out and began the pursuit to the hospital.
As the van nears the prison, kelly moves toward the back with an iPad in hand.
“When we get inside, Mike and I will coordinate with the other officers on sight to try and gather as many prisoners as possible. Dorn you’ll be air support with the drowns, and Armando you’ll find—,”
The van comes to a stop and Armando slings his gun around his body, adjusting it in his grip. “I know what I need to do.” He kicks the door open, rushing inside.
Armando slammed through the prison doors, doing a quick sweep of the halls before perusing down them.
The prison smelt of sulfur, gas and water leaking from the ceilings and floors as he walked past. He couldn’t believe this was a place you’d actively chosen to go to, no woman like you deserved to be here.
Armando pushed past a lot of broken cell doors and hiding prisoners, he was just about to turn the corner when a scream erupts from behind him.
Your scream.
His blood freezes over and his fingers clutch and sweat against his guns trigger.
What if he was too late?
What if you were hurt…or worse?
Panic carries him as he bounds down the hall until he reachers the only door.
He sweeps into the room, a large stage front and center, pointing his rifle at the front of the room.
You’re being held hostage by a man whose eyes are darkened and lust field. This must have been your patient.
Armando’s eyes sweep your body. Your cheek is scraped and bleeding blood, along with your forehead, smooshing curls to your face along with sweat and tears.
Your once white pant suit is soiled and bloody and your heels are long gone.
Armando just wants to shoot the man holding you, but he can’t, not without risking your life. The man holds a knife to your neck, pressing in and drawing blood, seeing Armando’s gun, he uses you as a shield.
“Back the fuck up!” He shouts. “Or I slice her open and spray us fucking both with her blood.”
Armando’s heat skips a beat at the thought. His mouth opens, the closes, he knows better than to negotiate as he couldn’t, he was used to just killing for these kinds of threats. But right now this man held the upper hand by holding on to you.
“Armando,’ you said, voicing weak and unsteady. “Leave us, okay.”
Armando shakes his head. “I’m not leaving you, not again.”
You whimper and your eyes shut, leaving tears to spill from them. Your cries alone were enough for Armando to drop a few rounds in this man, but he needed to be strategic. Something like you. He needed to try to use his words because maybe if he had used them earlier or last night he wouldn’t have anything to regret if this was the last time he’d see you alive.
Armando took a few steps forward. “What would make you let her go?”
The man shook, looking around frantically. “A way out of this fucking hell pit.”
Armando shook his head. “What if I said I could you that, off the books.”
The man swallowed, loosening his grip on the knife against your neck. “How? How could you possibly do that when this place is swirling with fucking cops!”
“The way I came in, there’s no cops stationed over there, so let’s make a deal.’ Armando drops his gun, letting it hang at his side. “You let her go and I get you out of here.”
The man narrowed his eyes. “Give me your gun.”
Armando frowned. “Why?”
The knife presses back into your throat and you scream out in searing pain. “So you can’t shoot me fuck head! Now give it to me heart eyes, or I cut her open.”
“Armando! No!”
Armando takes off his gun, placing it on the floor. “It’s okay, el cariño .’ He says. “I’m gonna slide it over at the same time you let her go, okay?”
Armando slides the gun across the room and the man loosens his grip, giving you enough space slip out of his hold.
You limp across the room and fall into Armando’s arms, he catches you with ease, holding you steady.
“¿Estás bien bebé?’ He questions, frantically pushing your curls away from your forehead. “¿Dónde te duele?”
You don’t respond, instead you pass out on his arms. Armando lifts you up bridal style. Heat boils through him at the thought of this man hurting you.
There was no way he was going to let him go now.
“Let’s go,’ the man says, clocking Armando’s gun. “Or it’s her fucking head, then yours.”
Armando walks you and the man towards the exit he came from, hoping to not run into any cops on the way.
His ears were buzzing, he needed a way to dead this situation without jeopardizing your safety anymore than it already was. That’s when he felt something searing in his pocket.
The knife.
Armando sat you down, tucking you against the wall behind a cell door.
“The fuck you doing!” The man shouted, jutting the gun at Armando.
Armando kneels over, pretending to be out of breath. “She’s heavy and I’m tired. I need a break.”
“Nah, muscle-head,’ the man’s says, putting the guns cold muzzle against Armando’s back. “There’s no time to be tired. If she’s too heavy, leave her and come back once you get me out of here.”
Armando smirked.
He’s just where he needed him.
In quick, trained motion, Armando whips his knife out. He turns, slicing the man’s wrist.
The man screams out in paid, dropping the gun. Armando uses his leg and sweeps his feet from under him, casing him to land on his ass.
The man clutches his wrist, crying out in pain. Armando takes no sympathy when he picks up his gun and shoots him thrice in the chest.
Armando scoops you up once more, calling into his coms.
“I’ve got her,’ he breaths. “Get a kit together, she’s pretty bad.”
Armando holds you tight as he walks you down and out of the prison. The warmth of the sun hitting your skin, the glimmer reminding him of just what he’ll never let go of again.
###
A stir shifts Armando awake.
His eyes open, blurry from the nights sleep before sharpening and focusing on you.
You sit up in your bed, holding your torso and groaning in pain.
Armando sits up, grabbing your arm and helping you reposition.
“How are you?” He asks, stuffing your pillows behind your back.
“Where am I?” You mumble, holding your head. You reach up and touch the bandages on your forehead, feeling a sharp pain spread, causing you to hiss.
“The hospital, you were hurt yesterday in the riot.” Armando says, taking your small hand in his larger one.
You nod, and Armando’s heart sinks when he feels you pull your hand from his.
“So what are you doing here?” You ask.
“I’m here with you.”
“Why?” You turn, glaring at him. “I thought we weren’t friends.”
Armando sighs. “Bebita, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“How else could you mean it, Armando?”
His hearts pace quickens, last time he didn’t use his words, he nearly lost you. He didn’t want to risk it and waste anymore time with you. “I was scared.”
“What?” Your voice cracks.
Armando grabs your hand, squeezing it. “I was scared to loose you. I was afraid you’d see how fucked up I am, and just when I thought I had you, you’ll see the monster I am and push me away.”
You shake your head, squeezing Armando’s hand. “No, listen to me,’ you take his face in your hands. “You’re not a monster. You were lied to and you’re hurting.”
Armando melts into your touch as you stroke his cheeks with your thumbs. “I see the good in you, and I’ll always be there for you. I promise.”
A tear slips from Armando’s eyes, the truth of your words bleeding into him through the warmth of your touch. “I’m sorry,” he says, nuzzling into your touch and kissing your palms. “Cariño, lo siento mucho.”
“It’s okay,’ you sniffle. “Come here.” You pull him towards you.
Armando leans in, the hospital bed groaning under his weight as he takes you into his arms.
Armando takes your face into his hands, titling your head, placing his lips onto yours. You two melt into each other, kissing away the physical and mental pain you both harbor.
“I missed you,’ he moans against your lips, holding you tight. “Te extrañé mucho bebé.”
You slip your hands into his hair, pulling him down and on top of you.
“I missed you too.’ Breathlessly, Armando shivers, pressing himself into you. “So never push me away again.” You say.
Armando sucks in a breath, taking in how breathtaking you look underneath him. “Sí, mamá, lo prometo.”

Keep Me Near Your Heart XX

Jaenara stare out the window in daze, her mind muddled and scrambled with various scenarios of her husband whereabouts, it had been two days since he last been back and Jaenara was beginning to go a little stir crazy.
She start pacing around the room, it was late, she came back from spending another dinner alone.
Jaenara's emotions were split, she was angry and worried about her husband, as much as she grown find his existence annoying, she needed him still. She needed him here with her, with their child, he been gone for so long that Jaenara took to crying herself to sleep.
If she founds out that he was with Rivers this entire time, she was leaving him and killing her and that bastard in her stomach. She wasn't going to let him humiliate her or their child, not again not ever.
The sound of the door opening made jaenara turn so quickly it made her dizzy for second, she look towards the door to see Aemond walking in with one hand behind his back.
He closed the door behind him and stood in front of it with a nervous look on his face.
"Where have you been." Jaenara hiss after a minute of tense silence between them, her hands balled into fist by her side, "Do you have any idea the hell I been through without you here."
Aemond look at her with apologic look, he was relieve and a little happy that his beloved was thinking of him while he was away.
"Hello! Idiot. I asked you a question." She  snapped making Aemond snap out of his thoughts to look at her just as jaenara was stalking towards him.
Aemond dropped his arm from behind him clenching the object in his hand tight out of nervousness, as jaenara stop just a couple of feet in front of him and glance over him before notcing how hard he had his fist clench.
"What's in your hand?"
Aemond swallow the lump stuck in his throat before clearing it.
"Well, I know you been feeling...stress, so I thought I'll get you something to lighten up your day." He said softly, Jaenara looks from the necklace to her dense husband.
"If you wanted to "brighten up my mood", Aemond. Maybe, you should have fucked me two days ago rather than leaving  to get me some stupid jewelry, you know I will never wear, you should have come back home and fuck me like you promise." She snarl, Aemond deflates before bowing his head.
"I thought--"
"I don't have you around to think, you dope, you are here to pleasure me." She jeered, "And to keep an close eye on you, I know how weak...men are when they miss their mommies and past lovers. " She sneer before turning away from to walk towards the bed.
"Your right, my love--"
"I know I am," she sassed, "Now, throw that thing away and do what your good at." Jaenara fall flat on her back on the bed, she move her legs up so her feet is planted on the mattress parted.
Aemond stayed frozen by the door, he knew he couldn't keep his love waiting for too long so he slowly drag his feet over to the bed before stopping in front of Jaenara's parted legs.
"Well? What are you waiting for." She asked agitated.
Aemond frown a bit, before he looks down at the necklace in his hand.
"Can I make a request, my belove?"
Jaenara exhale before dragging her elbows to push her up to look at Aemond.
"Does it still involves you fucking me?" She asked annoyed.
Aemond nodded his head, jaenara gave a eyeroll before giving a nod. Aemond moves his hand in front of him, and opened his fist to take one end to display the necklace fully.
"I would like to put this on you...while we make love." He looks up at her when he said the last sentence, Jaenara raise her bow curious before sitting up as her legs hang off the bed to get a closer look at the necklace.
Jaenara glance at the beautiful blue jewel, it's stone reminding her of Aemond's sapphire eye.
Jaenara looks back up at Aemond before moving off the bed, she turn around moving her hair aside for her husband to the necklace on. It took a second before jaenara felt aemond's fingers ghost along her skin on her neck, she felt the cool metal of the chain rest against her warm skin.
Soon lips press against her neck before he move to peck along her collarbone before moving to the other side of her neck as he put his hand on her stomach rubbing the round belly of his belove, Jaenara closed her eyes and lean against him, he press his lower half against her rocking his hips slowly as he suck on her neck causing her to let a small mewl.
The slow pace was not feeding the fire inside her, she pulls away quickly and turns towards Aemond catching by surprise as she grab his cheek and pulled him down to kiss him. Aemond made a noise during the kiss, Jaenara maneuver aemond around so he was now standing front of the bed without breaking their kiss. She slides her hand down his cheeks to his chest and start unbuttoning his vest before shoving it off his shoulder, she move to do the same for his shirt but forgot about it leaving the tunic to remain open.
Jaenara pull her lips from Aemond and push his chest making him fall onto the bed, she climb on top of him to straddle his hips before leaning back down to peck kisses along his neck as her hands work to unbutton his pants.
"We need not need to be quick, my love." Aemond says, but jaenara ignore him as she shove her hand down his trousers.
Aemond's hand was quick to shot out to grasp her wrist making her stop from pulling him, Jaenara pulls back to look at Aemond with a scowl.
"What! What is it now, Aemond." She snaps, Aemond look at her with parted lips as he stare at her unsure.
"...I want us to go slow, I wish to make love to you...it feels like forever since we made love and I want to take my time...to make you feel good--" Aemond speaks as his hand moves from her waist to grasp her cheek, but jaenara was quick to slap it away and interrupt him.
"Does it really matter? Your getting your cock wet one way or another," she snarked, "So, lay down, shut up, and enjoy." She roll her eyes before snatching her hand out of aemond's grasp to go back to pulling out his cock.
Aemond didn't say anything, he drop his hands to his side and lay his head back like his wife's demanded.
Jaenara lick her hand before pumping Aemond's cock making the young prince moan and whimper as he clench and unclench the sheets, jaenara bite her lips getting wet from the small noises her husband was making. Once Aemond was fully erect, jaenara lift up her skirt while her other hand kept up her motion before she rub his cock along her folds.
Jaenara and Aemond moan in unison as she lower herself, Jaenara's eyes was closed in bliss, feeling like she haven't felt a cock in her in years. She didn't waste time before she start moving her hips up and down his cock in a slow pace to get use to him again, after a few minutes Jaenara was rocking her hips as she digs her nails into Aemond's chest causing a wince to come from the man below.
Nothing but grunts and moan filled the room, both enjoying the feel of each other after days of not touching. One was more happy than other, which confuse the latter since sex makes everything better. Right?
Jaenara peel her eyes opened and look down at her husband as she still moves on top of him, she take him little by little. Her eyes gaze over his big hands on her hips, before moving her eyes to look at his hard and muscular ivory chest that was glistening. She put her hand on his chest, digging her nails into him again hearing him grunt, not sure from the pleasure or the pain, but she enjoy seeing his muscles tighten when his fucking her.
The dragon princess begin to slow down as she slowly start to get close and tired as she does all the work, she flick her eyes to Aemond's features, her brow twitch as stare at her husband close eyes and scrunch up face. It was a familiar look that she seen before, the way he tilt his head back and how he squeeze his eyes closed really tight, it look like he could be thinking about something...or someone?
Before she could stop herself, Jaenara's hand flew out and smack Aemond across the cheek.
Aemond yelp in shock and look at his wife in disbelief, Jaenara stare back at him equal shock and disbelief. She was so in disbelief that it soon turn to anger as the feeling suddenly took over her bosy and mind, before she even realize it she was hitting him again.
"You...bastard." she hiss under breathe as her hits switch between hitting him in the face and his chest.
Aemond block his belove wife's hits with his arms blocking his face, he didn't want to grab her and hurt her, he knew she tire herself out eventually.
The one eye prince let out a groan when Jaenara's hand hit the side of his head with great force, the hit was harder than any of her others making Aemond squeeze his shut again and hope that she stops.
Jaenara look down at Aemond out of breathe, she blinks as her vision clears up. She sees her husband with his arms up and blocking his face, his chest heaving too from everything that happened. Jaenara looks down at her throbbimg hands before glancing at Aemond, when she put two to two gather, she slide off him and stumbled off the bed putting her back to him.
As Jaenara stumbles away in a daze, Aemond slowly gets up and look over at his wife as she fell onto the couch and hunch forward putting her hands in her hands in distress.
Jaenara couldn't stop shaking, she didn't know what was going on with her. She didnt understand where all this anger was coming from, she never had that feeling before in her life not even when her mother would leave without her to visit her Rhaenys and Corlys. She was never like this, she never lose control. Everything felt confusing and she felt like she was beginning to act like her mother.
"Jaenara."
The young princess flinch when she heard her name, she pull back and look up to see her husband. The redness around his left cheek made her heart clench in her chest, she look up to face his anger and wrath. But, she was only meet with was Aemond soft lilac eye as he gaze down at her with a concern look.
Jaenara had to turn her eyes away before he could see any tears spill out, she didn't understand how he could look at her after what she did.
"Jaenara, please don't cry." He beg as he take a seat on the cushion next to her.
He move his hand to put on her mid back but she just move away from him, making him frown.
"Why." She whispered as she stare vacantly at the fireplace before them.
"Why, what, my love."  He ask, moving closer to be by her, his hand went to her own on her lap and squeeze.
Jaenara sniffs and moves back so her back could be resting on the couch, before she looks over at Aemond with a meek look.
"Why did you do this to us?" She asked with hint of defeat in her tone, Aemond sat frozen taken back, "Why? We could have been happy with different people, we could have spare each other the heartbreak, and  the tears, and the lonely nights--"
"My love, I know I have made mistakes, too many to even allow me in your graceful presents." Aemond moves to kneel in front of Jaenara, looking up at her with desperate look, "But, I am trying to atone for it, my love. I am trying to undo my foolishness, and show you that you are the only one for me." Aemond says, but he could see the doubt in her sweet eyes.
"How can I think I am the only one, when your first love is now carrying your child." Jaenara says in distress, making aemond cast his eye down, "How can I feel secure in our marriage, when all I can think about is...is the fact that she's carrying your true son."
Aemond look back at her.
"We still are not sure if that child is mine, and if it is than I will not claim it to be." Aemond put his hand on Jaenara's belly, he look at at it for a moment before looking at his belove, "I made a promise to you, did I not? This child is mine and nothing or no one can tell me or make me think otherwise."
Jaenara sigh, even through his words brought assurance in one part of her heart, the others parts were still so doubtful of his words.
"As much as I appreciate your your words, Aemond. They still do not make me feel like we are good for each other."
Aemond frown and his hand slide off her stomach as he leans back to fully take her in, Jaenara could see the heartbreak in his eye at her words but she knew it had to be said.
"That is not true." He whispered.
"Isn't it?" She asked, "Or did you forget what happened not five minutes ago, it is obvious my emotions are not in order right now and I fear I am turning into my mother." Jaenara admitted sadly, "I have made a grave mistake bringing us here, I thought being away would bring me solace but instead i have made our life here miserable, yours mostly." She said lowly.
Aemond shook out of his heartache at Jaenara's pain and brought his hand to Jaenara's hand to hold.
"It is not your fault, it's just the baby growing inside you." He reassures, but Jaenara only shook her head.
"Or maybe, it just us."
Aemond's heart clench in his chest again, he could see that he was losing her. All this time he thought the worst was over, he thought after all the games he played and pain he caused his belove. That the gods finally was giving him a chance to redeem himself, but he sees that is not the case.
"You know that's not true, we were meant to be together." He breathed, "I always known it, it was written in the stars." He lean his head against his entwine hand with hers.
Jaenara put her other hand on his head, she slowly start to caress his hair.
"I wish that was true."
Aemond lift his head causing Jaenara take her hand from his head, he looks up at her with misty eyes.
"You wouldn't be saying that if you knew the dreams I had." He said, making Jaenara look at him confuse, "Dreams that you could see and remember clear as day, dreams that showed you what could of been if you made the right choice in the beginning." He bluster on.
"Aemond--" Jaenara starts with conflicting emotions.
"I dreamed of you every night, I was young when I realize what they were telling me," Aemond confessed, before his demeanor change from fondess to regret, "But, I...I made a choice that lead me to lose my eye, to you hating me...and getting hurt, and all I did was blame you and your brothers for what became of me."
"I was already the black sheep because I didn't have a dragon of my own, after I lost my eye and gain the biggest dragon that lived, I was a monster. If they didn't fear me because of my dragon, they avoid me like the plague because of my hideous scar." He huffed as a look across his face before disappearing, "I never felt more alone than I did that day at Driftmark, and the only person that never made me feel that way again was Alys, she was my first and only, when I was with her I wasn't thinking. I was just...there."
Aemond frown his brows in thought at what he just said, Jaenara stare at her husband in disbelief. She never knew that Aemond knew Rivers for that long, she always assume they meet a year or two before Jaenara came to King's Landing to marry Aemond.
"Is that why you never wrote me? Because you were in love her."
Aemond shook his head at the misunderstanding.
"I did not think you wanted to talk to me after what i did to you that night in the cave," His eye downcast in regret, "...hitting you with that rock destroyed me, but seeing you not moving killed me inside..." he confess with tears, jaenara move her hand so her index finger can brush over the scar on the side of her temple.
She remembered that night vaguely, everything happened so fast and the last thing she remembered was hitting one of her cousin in the face with her elbow.
"...and I was so angry with you, I felt like you betrayed me when you chose your brothers over me and I hated your brothers for being the reason you hated me. I was too angry and too full of hatred to try to rekindle, so I went with aegon to fleabottom and I meet Rivers."
Jaenara looks away from him, she knows what his saying ahouldn't make a difference on how she feeling, but it's hard to ignore what is in front of her.
"Jaenara, please know that I am sorry, I never meant to allow my affair with Rivers to drag on longer than it should have over the years. Once i stop dreaming of you, I assume that was a sign from the gods that I made my choice and I lost you forever." Aemond expressed, as a last ditch effort to get Jaenara to see the truth about them.
He wanted to know that they were always meant to be together, he always believe in the dragon dreams that was told to him when he was a boy. He made sure that in every dream he sees Jaenara, he would make sure to look for a dragon, because than that when he knows that him and her still had a chance.
Aemond felt a warm hand on his cheek bringing him out of his throat to look at his belove wife in front him, Jaenara smile a little, before she pull her hand away to wrap her arms around his shoulder pulling him to her. He was caught of guard that he had to shift on his knees to hug her less awkwardly, he put his hand on her back and rub, she buried her face in his shoulder inhaling his scent before turning her head to the side facing away from his face.
"I think im ready to go home now."

Chapter Three
Emrys POV
I was struggling to keep standing my ground. My arm throbbed with pain was an ashwood arrow. The wood had poisoned my blood and slowly infected my body as I tried to fight through this battle.
Everything happened so fast that I had no time to process what was happening. I saw the Fae male from earlier, that princeling. he pushed one warrior putting him down in an instant and moving on to another.  And then that’s when a blast happened with enough force to blow us far from the battlefield. I felt myself floating, no wait, Flying or falling. I wasn't sure what I knew, only that my feet were no longer touching the ground, but in that instant, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and pull me close to a body. And then we hit the ground hard, tumbling. My head was cradled on the impact.
When we stopped rolling, I pushed him off me and faced who it was. I drew my sword in an instant. He held his hands up. I couldn't tell if it was in defense or to attack because my vision was getting worse, which meant that the poison was spreading faster. I blinked a few times. I tried to lunge at him, but the pain that shot through my arm was so intense that I fell straight to the ground. All I could do was hold my arm and scream out in pain.
“Hold…. On……I….got” I could not hear, or maybe I could not understand the language coming out of his mouth, but everything around me faded.
I was in and out of consciousness. I can remember being picked up and being held in someone's arms. Flash of a beautiful face and the night sky. Was I underground? No, I think it was a cave. A fire roared. His hair fell in front of his face as he hovered over me and his eyes. Why did I know those eyes? And then nothing.
I gasped and sat up straight, struggling to catch my breath. I looked around me and took in my surroundings. I was right. I was in a cave with fire, but I remember nothing of how I got here or who brought me either. It was silent. I could hear the pounding of my own heart racing. It wasn’t until I felt the slight shift in the earth that I drew my blade from my ankle and lunged at him; he blocked all of my attacks. He was a skilled fighter. I could tell by the way he evaded me.so I fought hard, landing blows to his body. Finally, my blade made it to his neck.
“Ve dos iya'' I pushed all the weight on him as he was a whole foot and five inches taller than me.
“I don’t speak Mareenian,” He said though I didn’t understand him well enough. He smirks at my confusion. I pushed my blade closer to his throat. He nodded to my arm. My eyes moved to where the arrow had hit me earlier. It was cleaned and wrapped in a cloth. He cleaned my wound. When my eyes met his again, his hand were up, showing he wasn’t a threat. Everything that I was trained for and taught seemed to have left me because, for some reason, I put the blade down and stepped back from him.
I felt something at that moment, like a feline slowly walking its way into my mind, nothing hurt, but words and memories started to play. Everything that happened after we had gotten knocked over, him carrying my body to a cave on the mountain. He was in my head, going through my mind until my morning dreams. I shut him out quickly, no longer in whatever trans he had put me before he saw anything too personal. He took a step forward, touching my head, but I hit my hand away from my face.
“I’m Nyx” he straightened his clothing. He didn’t look like he was dressed for a fight. Nyx, the High Lord of Nights son.
“I wasn’t expecting to fight today,” he answered the question I hadn’t asked.
“Stay out of my head, daemati,” I spat at him.
“I didn’t need to be in your head; your face is quite expressive” He gave me a cocky smirk though his face fell.
“Hmmm, empath,” he said as if he was tasting the word.
“I’ve never met an empath before.” He took another step, but I held my blade out once again.
“I am not your enemy.” He said he moved over to the other side of the fire he had started to build a crane. He must have gone out and caught food while I rested enough for both of us.
“I am Em- Emallia” he looked over his shoulder. I was unsure if he bought the lie I told, but now that I know he is a high lord's son, that makes the son of him an enemy.
“I must go,” I said, moving toward the entrance to the cave. I ignored my body telling me to stop telling me to rest. I needed to get back. I need to see my family and my home. I needed to talk to my mother and tell her I was okay.
“Not yet; you lost a lot of blood; you need food, water, and rest. I healed your wound, but your body still needs time.” I didn’t argue. I knew he was right; I wouldn’t get far with how I felt. So I didn’t say anything else; I sat far away. He took out his own knife cutting different mushrooms. The smell of the animal he caught filled the cave. He added the mushrooms and cut some berries. When done, he walked over with the food on a metal saucer.
“I only have this, so it looks like we will have to share this one plate.” The food was piled up on one plate, a mountain of food though I’m sure this won’t be enough to fill him up. I push the plate in front of him.
“You first,” I said; after all, he got the food, and I would also know if the food was poisoned. He chuckled
“I’m not trying to poison one soldier and not one that I just healed, but I’ll take one bite, but you should eat first; I’ll eat what you don’t” after he took a bite of a mushroom, it looked safe, so I decided to eat to my fill. When I was done. He raised an eyebrow in question.
“Are you sure that's all you want to eat?” he questioned. I nodded, then moved against the wall. He took my silence as an answer and began to eat the rest of the food. When he finished, he took a sip of water and offered me the cantine. I eyed it before taking it. My dry throat felt the tremendous relief of water running down. When I was done, he still looked at me with that arrogant smirk.
“What does it mean,” he asked me.
“What?”
“Ve dos iya,” he said back. His pronunciation wasn’t horrible, though I wouldn’t tell him that I was worried it might make his ego bigger.
“It means who are you,” I answer.
“Ah…..Ve dos iya,” He repeated it, only this time much better. Fast learner. He laid flat on his back.
“Why?” I questioned him
“Why what?” He said
“Why did you heal me? You could have left me for dead or cut my throat. But you helped me clean my wound and feed me.”
“So you're asking why I saved you?” He asked. I nodded my head.
“Why did you save that woman from the arrow? You didn’t know her. You could have let it hit her, and she would have died” I didn’t know how to answer his question, maybe because I didn’t understand why I just did it.
“She’s my mother,” he says lowly, not meeting my eyes. “And if you hadn’t done what you did, she might not be here, so thank you.”
I stayed quiet; somehow, I understood him. Maybe if I had been there when Annika died, she would still be her. The thought hurt. I felt heaviness return to my chest so fast that I had to turn away so he would see the tears forming. I bit down on my hand to stop the sob that almost made its way out. I took a deep breath to collect myself. Not here, not now. I took another breath.
He was quiet for a while before saying, “Get some rest; we will leave in the morning and go our separate ways.”
I laid my body down for the night, pushing the lump in my chest. I don’t know when sleep was found, but it pulled me underneath to deep sleep when it did see me.

My face is buried in my hands as I explain everything to the girls sitting with me.
I tell them how Bokuto offered to take me back to his place, admitting it was a trap as I do. I confess the electricity that sparked when he led me through the crowd and didn't dare to let go. I recount Bokuto and Sugawara's altercation and how surprised I was that Bokuto was willing to fight for me.
I share in-depth details about the session Bokuto and I experienced. I laid out all the praises and compliments he soaked me in as he moved against me. Lastly, I tell them how that night has all been washed away. I don't conceal the hurt on my face when I tell them that it seems like he's forgotten me.
"Wow..." Monica gasps, slowly putting her back against her chair. "Just wow...."
Gabby's hand is over her lips while her eyes bulge out of their socket. "I didn't even know that side of Bokuto existed."
I tried not to cry but couldn't help it. I witnessed myself in a new light; reached an elated state that once was nonexistent to me. All for it to be snatched from me in a blink of an eye. I dry my now damp lashes before putting my chin in my palm and looking in Bokuto's direction. I let out a sigh as I think about what we could have been.
Maya adjusts the high ponytail butterfly locs on her head before sighing deeply. "You want us to beat him up?" I snap my head at Maya to see the seriousness in her eyes. "Cause I won't stand for you to be used like that."
"Yeah!" Monica perks up out of her seat. "Ain't nobody finna mess with my twin and not pay for it!"
I scowl at Monica. "Girl, sit down. It's not that big of a deal." I rush out before she makes a scene. Monica has always been the confrontational twin and has gotten into many fights on my behalf. She once gave a girl 16 stitches when she found out she bullied me.
"Nah, nah, nah." She ignores my plea. "I'm finna beat his a—"
"So you've been juked by him too, huh?"
Our heads turn to the stiff voice that cuts in. Maya's eyes immediately turn into rage and disgust when they land on the owner of the voice. Serenity Flores stands over the table wearing a somber expression. Once again, I don't know her personally but have heard a lot about her from Monica.
Gabby's hand reflexively clutches Maya's to hold her back. "What do you want?" Maya seethes through her teeth. Serenity briefly looks down at her with unimpressed eyes. She ignores her and looks back at me.
"Bi–
"I couldn't help but overhear everything you said. I kn–"
"More like you can't mind your own business." Maya spits before Serenity can finish. "You just love to stick your fat nose in places it has no business being in. Get a life and stop trying to ruin others."
Serenity releases a breath and then sucks it back in. Maya isn't going to let her talk, and rightfully so. Back in sophomore year, Maya and Sugawara split. She had gotten together with a boy named Daichi Sawamura and they were a strong couple. Daichi always followed the rules and prompted Maya to do the same. I thought they'd stay together for a while before Serenity came in. She somehow divided them and split them up. Things got so bad that Daichi moved away to a different school district and far away from Maya. Now, Serenity and Maya can't stand to be in each other's presence.
"Maya, I know you hate me–"
"I despise you." Maya corrects.
"Yeah, yeah. But I'm not here to stir something up," Serenity focuses her coffee-colored eyes on me. "I'm just here to console you."
"And why would she need you of all people to console her!?" My stomach gurgles when Maya's raised tone gains some attraction. "All you do is lie and manipulate people!" There's hurt laced behind Maya's words. Losing Daichi clearly bothers her still and she won't forgive Serenity for it.
Serenity and Maya can fight on their own time, I don't care. But I am interested in what Serenity has to say. She could be lying but there's a chance there's some truth woven into it. That's the art of deception anyways.
"Maya," I call out. She pulls her raging eyes to me. I swallow my nerves and give her a gentle smile. "It's okay, I do want to hear what she has to say. Clearly, she must know something."
I don't wait for Maya's response and look back to Serenity. "This doesn't mean we're friends though. Say what you need to then leave."
Monica sits back in her chair and glares at the lighter-skinned. "Yeah, you aren't necessarily wanted."
Serenity slightly nods understanding that she's unwelcomed in our space.
"All I wanted to say is that you and I are the same, at least when it comes to dealing with Bokuto." She looks down as she starts fiddling with her fingers. The same somber expression she had before returns. "I went over to his house once. We had been talking for some time and he had invited me over. I remember everything about him was different. We had sex, obviously but not before he treated me like I was his world."
She glances at Bokuto with a yearning look in her eyes. It reminds me of the way I was looking at him only a moment ago. "He knew all my concealed secrets and forced me to accept them. He made me feel a different side of myself but then..." A deep frown forms on her lips. "The next time we saw each other, he ignored me." She shakes her head. "No, that's not right. He had completely forgotten the night we had. He went back to the immature boy he is now and the boy I witnessed that night was completely gone."
Her eyes suddenly snap back to me and she scowls. Maya goes on the offense when she sees rage pouring out from Serenity's eyes. "So don't go thinking you're special. You're just some chick he screwed and forgot about the next day."
Serenity turns on her heels and leaves me with a burning sting from her harsh but most likely true words.
"And you're just a whore who nobody loves!" Maya shouts after her. Maya grits her teeth and turns back to us. "I knew I should have just punched her the second she inserted herself. You don't believe her do you?"
I keep my lips sealed. Slowly, I curl into myself. "I do," I admit after the pregnant pause passes. "I believe everything she said."
"What?" Gabby shakes her head. "Serenity lies for fun. She probably just made that up after overhearing what you told us."
I cross my arms and stare at the table. Serenity is telling the truth but they'll never believe that. I'm confident she is. When she looked at Bokuto with that twisted look in her eyes, I knew she wasn't faking it. It takes a lot of skill and practice to mimic a face like that. It's an expression rooted in deep sorrow that many people aren't willing to show; almost like she was grieving something she never really had.
"How about this," Monica speaks up after my silence drags on longer than it should. She takes my phone and unlocks it with her face. A perk she loves to endorse for being my identical twin. "I'm going to give you Bokuto's number."
"And why would you do that, Moni?" Gabby questions, not hiding the disapproval in her voice.
"So she can get to the bottom of this." She answers as she types his number into my contacts. "If you really want to find out, text him. Let him know who you are and find out for yourself if he's forgotten you. I don't think he has."
Something in Monica's tone indicates that she's withholding information but she's too scared to share. I'd ask but I think I'm just as scared to hear what it could be.
"Here."
She thrusts my phone to me. His contact is open and my mind races as I stare at it blankly. For whatever reason my eyes can't drift away from the contact saved in my phone as Bokuto.
~~~
The crickets chirp outside creating the only sound in my room besides my heavy breath. It's past 10:30 and sleep refuses to come to me. My eyes stare at my bland ceiling and I rest the back of my palm on my forehead. A long, slow, and heavy sigh leaves my lips before I roll over to my side.
I look at the long paragraph I've typed but I'm too scared to press send. I don't know why I let Monica talk me into texting Bokuto when we got home. She even pulled Mama into the matter and she cursed him out in Spanish and English. After mouthing off, Mama told me I should give him a piece of my mind. It was two against one and I walked away as the loser.
I didn't cry as I typed my message. Even though my heart still aches, I didn't let it show in my text. I relayed all my anger and confusion to him. I made sure my words would leave him with guilt and regret. I purposely provoked him, calling him every swear word I knew, and just like Mama told me, I let him know that it was me.
But after exerting my frustration, I'm left feeling nothing. It's as if I'm a tall wine glass that is waiting to be filled with something intoxicating. My body is trembling on the inside waiting to feel that ecstasy it did with Bokuto. My heart is pounding in my chest, screaming at me as if I'm the one denying it's pleasure.
I'm a mess. Complete disarray is what Bokuto has left me in. All for him to have the audacity to forget about me as if I'm a soda can lying in the streets.
Yeah, screw that.
In a split second, I'm slamming my finger against the blue Send button. I block his number before powering off my phone and tossing it to the bottom of my bed.
Tears well in my eyes as I shove myself under my blankets. I hate sleeping under the comforter but tonight I want to feel suffocated. The heaviness feels minuscule compared to the weight pressing against my forehead. My head drowns in pain as I relinquish hot tears onto my pillow. I make a promise that this is the last time I'll cry over this boy.
I'll forget about Friday night, even if that means I'll have to operate on myself to cut the memory out.
~~~
A forceful sound shudders me out of my slumber. At first, I think going to sleep with a headache was a bad idea. I thought the pounding sound that woke me was my head telling me it needs some Aspirin. But when I struggle to sit up under the comforters, I realize that the thundering noise sounded a lot like knocking.
I reach for my phone, cursing myself for crying myself to sleep, falling asleep underneath the thick blanket, and throwing my phone so far away.
My phone is halfway through turning on before the blaring knock comes again. My shoulders convulse and I start to hear the drumming of my heart. Whoever is knocking is using their whole fist to create a deep but powerful base behind their knock. They're pissed and won't relent until someone opens the door.
11:54 PM
Who in the world is knocking so intensely at this time of night? Mama picked up a night shift at the hospital and Monica left to spend the night at Akaashi's. It's just me, which isn't unusual.
Mama has ambitious goals so she's picking up shifts wherever she can to accumulate the money to accomplish them. Monica is falling more in love with Akaashi as the seconds pass (her words not mine) and can't spend a second apart from him. It's starting to become a routine for me to be the only one at home. I'm actually starting to like it so whoever is knocking at the door can kiss my butt.
When the person continues to assault the front door, I groggily shift out from my bed. I slip on my fluffy cross-band slippers before leaving my room. The dimly lit hallway makes me feel like I'm the main character in a horror movie. It's like I'm slowly approaching my death and I'm too stupid to realize it.
I tug my plush lilac robe closer to my body like it'll give me extra protection–as if it gave me any to begin with. Maybe I should have just texted Papi and dealt with the knocking until he came. He'd shoot off the intruder's head and then make sure I was okay.
Sighing when I reach the bottom of the stairs, I inch closer to the front door. The intruder keeps slamming against the door, it's so intense that the door shakes with each knock. Poor door.
My breath starts to run rampant as I'm centimeters away from the door. I clutch my robe to steady my trembling fingers and curl my toes to recenter my balance. Everything is telling me that answering this door is a horrible idea but I can't find the will to turn around. I'm desperate to see who is compelling me to the door.
I let go of a shaky breath before standing on my toes to see through the peephole.
I choke on my own breath when I see the image of a familiar person through the convex lens. My chest tightens while my legs shake like a toddler trying to walk for the first time. I blink before double-checking to assure myself I'm not seeing things. Even then, I still can't believe who I'm seeing.
The muscle in my chest whimpers and demands that I open the door. My body listens and my quivering fingers unscrew the locks. The wind from how quickly I swing the door open nearly knocks me off my feet. My eyes bulge out of their sockets and my mouth gapes at the sight before me.
With his monochrome hair laying flat on his head, Bokuto stands on the opposite side of the door.
My throat turns into a desert. It's like what I realized the first time I felt his lips on mine, he owns and controls my every breath. He's consuming all the air around me and depriving me of the privilege of breathing. I can't hear anything but the ringing sound of my heart losing its freaking mind.
His starlight irises are glaring at me with his rosy lips turned into a scowl. His olive skin is flushed with red while a rivulet of sweat drips down the side of his face. His aura is different from the one I just witnessed at school today but it's the exact same as the one Friday night. He's panting slightly and his eyebrows start to pinch together when he sees me.
"I thought you'd never open the door." His sonorous voice is rich and it sends my senses into overdrive. I curse at myself for missing it. I have half a mind to slam the door right in his face but before I can, he's stepping inside forcing me to retreat back into the house.
I gag when he presses against my smaller body and his spicy scent invades my nostrils. He pushes against me, nearly knocking me off balance but before I hit the ground, he's snacking his arm around my waist and slams me against his broad chest. He grunts, forcing me to look into his wild eyes.
"W-w-what are you d-doing here?" I embarrassingly croak out. I had to search deep inside of myself to find the weakest and quietest voice to use against him.
A moment passes as he searches for something in my eyes. I have no idea what he's looking for but I know all he'll see is how terrified I am. Bokuto is 6'2 while I'm barely 5'4. This boy is larger than me in every possible way. I'm suffocating in his grasp and I'm petrified by the angry glare nesting in his eyes. All his rage is pouring onto me and I don't know why. Shouldn't I be the one pissed at him?
"What was that text message?" He finally asks keeping his voice lower but stiffer than a mountain. I can't find the words to say, for a second, I don't even know what he's referring to.
His fingers dig into my side. My vision blurs at the slight pain he's causing. He leans in close and an indescribable look of fury paints his voice and face.
"You can call me what you want, but you have lost your mind if you think I'm going to let you walk away." My mouth drops. Literally.
"We're over?" He quotes my words from the text with venom spewing from his lips. I flinch when he throws his back and his laughter echos off the walls. His laugh is deep and sinister, it's everything but joyful. It's nothing like the laugh he had with Mark today. I can feel it vibrating in his chest and I'm ashamed to admit that it awakens something in me. The folds between my legs instantly dampen with arousal.
I flinch again when he brings his head back closer than it was before. A pure evil grin plasters along his mouth and his royal eyes glimmer with wicked intent. "Oh, baby we've only just started and you better fasten your seat belt 'cause you're in for one hell of a ride with me."
My lips part and I moan.
I freaking moan.
I couldn't stop it from passing my lips. I've never felt such an attraction to something so powerful and wicked in my life. Whatever darkness he has is pouring onto me, entangling me into something I have no business being a part of. My body is being torn into pieces, screaming at me to let go but also to plunge in deeper.
His wicked grin widens when he hears my moan. "You sound so pretty, did you know that?"
I'm speechless but not for long. The image of him shrugging and forgetting about me reappears in my brain. Heat rushes to my face as my body twitches with anger. I place both of my palms on his chest and use every inch of energy I have to push him away from me.
His arm slips from around me and pure air starts to fill my lungs again. I gasp, desperate to breathe clearly, and turn away from him. I stumble over to the brown leather couch I've told Mama a million times to get rid of. I place my hands on its back and drop my head between my shoulders as I grasp for air.
Seconds pass before I regain all the breath I need. I look back at Bokuto who's standing there with an amused grin on his perfect face. I'm over here dying from the air he stole and he's smiling?
I narrow my eyes with fury burning beneath them. I lunge my body at him with my fist flying straight for his jaw. He doesn't flinch, instead, he grabs my wrist before impact and jerks me close to him.
"Feisty aren't ya?" His smirk and eyes widen with pleasure. He looks like a maniac. A sexy maniac.
"You jerk!" I spit at him. "Who do you think you are?" I jerk my wrist from his grasp but he's too strong. I groan in frustration before using my other hand to push against him. It's useless though, he stands like an indestructible wall.
Mama is going to come home to her house destroyed because when I get out of his hold, I'm throwing everything in this house at him.
"Who do you think you are!?" I holler again. "You ignored me! Forget about me!" I know I promised that I wouldn't cry over him anymore but hot tears start to spill from my eyes.
A mixture of frustration, anger, and pain is coated into my voice. His grip loosens as he hears it. "You made me feel like I could conquer the world! You made me reach a peak I didn't even know existed!" My voice lowers and starts to crack. "You made me feel loved and beautiful. I thought you wanted me!" I raise my voice again and let more tears slip out.
I watch his eyes turn from harder than nails to softer than feathers. He almost looks confused about why I am so angry which only fuels my rage even more. "All for you to act like I was nothing today! Like I was nothing more than just a body you slept with! Then you just storm in here like you didn't ignore me!"
It was just one night. One late September Friday night. Why am I getting all emotional over one night? It's because it's the best I ever felt in my own skin since forever. I thought I had something true and real, just for it to be stripped away from me. Just like every other thing in my life. I'm exhausted from losing things all the time.
These tears aren't just for him but he is definitely the main source right now.
He releases my wrist but I'm too hurt to find something to throw at him. "Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?" I ask the same question repeatedly. "Why? Why? Why? Why? Wh..."
I repeat myself over and over until tears take over. I can't speak anymore as I wail and bawl in front of him. I want to know why everything is taken away from me and I want to know why he forgot about me so quickly.
He steps forward, he wraps his arm around my waist again but not as roughly as he did before. He's gentle and I feel a comforting heat radiating from him. I sink into him even though he's part of the reason why I'm crying. He tilts my head up and uses his thumb to catch my heavy tears.
His eyes are soaked in sorrow. He's hesitant and I don't know why. How has his whole aura shifted so drastically so quickly? Who is Koutaro Bokuto really?
"It wasn't me." He admits softly. His voice is so quiet I barely heard him. I see vulnerability flash through his golden eyes and it almost brings me to tears.
A small part of me is still angry though. That part of me scoffs at him. "Who do you think you are? Shaggy?" He's unaffected by insult. Another tear slips out and he flicks it away.
He closes his eyes and inhales deeply. He braces himself before letting go of one of his biggest truths.
"Do you know what DID is?"
I freeze, sucking in a huge breath. I nod after being stunned for a few beats.
"Yeah, I have it. I'd rather not talk about where I got it from or the years it took to be diagnosed with it but if you don't believe me, I have papers to prove it." His heavy voice sounds so quiet as he opens himself up. I can feel his nerves running wild; I get the feeling that I'm one of the few people who know about this. I shake my head to let him know I don't need to see any papers.
He sighs heavily before caressing my cheek with his thumb. "The guy you saw at school today, isn't the guy you see now. We're different and we can't stand each other." Resentment flashes in his eyes. "He's a complete idiot. He acts like he's the best and mindlessly flaunts himself when in reality he's pathetic and insecure. He runs from himself. He runs from me. I'm his true self but he shuts me out."
I nod, processing the information I'm being told even though my mind feels blank. "Does he not remember me?" I ask barely above a whisper.
"He has no reason to." He responds honestly. "You and him have no connection. Not like the connection you have with me."
"But you–he looked at me, almost like he did remember me but didn't know why." It was brief but that look of confusion meant something. It was like he wanted to remember me.
He nods, understanding what I'm trying to say. "When he's out, I'm forced to watch from behind the glass. I saw you. I wanted to reach out and hold you. I did what I could to help him remember you but he....doesn't like you."
He delivers the blunt truth with all the gentleness he could. It still hurts because that's what truths do. They freaking hurt.
I push against him gently before he can see the hurt in my eyes. I walk away and frantically enter the kitchen. I grab a red apple from the fruit bowl and take a harsh bite to stop myself from crying. A small part of me had a feeling Bokuto had split personalities but fear stopped me from entertaining the thought for long. It's what stopped me from asking Monica what was on her mind earlier. She probably suspected it from long ago but wanted to spare my feelings.
All these years of wanting him to like me, down the drain. All the hopes I had that he might have feelings for me dissipate into nothing leaving a sharp pain in my chest. It shouldn't matter though, his other side likes me that should be enough, right? Right?
I take another firm bite when I hear him come up behind me. I suck in air when he presses himself against my back as I lean over a counter. The weight of him is grave and I feel his crotch against my behind. He leans in inches away from my ear. His silvery voice whispers into my ear.
"But I love you."
He backs away as I gasp and nearly choke on the apple. There's no way he just confessed the sacred three words to me. I whip my head around to see him looking at me with a blissful expression. He's serious, like the plague serious.
"You–"
"He likes Monica, been crushing on her for years." I swallow the fruit so I don't choke. The truth burns through my heart. "He won't go for her though. Akaashi is his best friend and Monica would never return his feelings."
"And wouldn't." I mutter. Monica has told me how she never saw the appeal for Bokuto. He's too loud and arrogant for her liking. I never had to worry about her catching feelings for Bokuto.
"That's why Sugawara said what he said that night. Everyone knows he likes Monica but don't speak about it. It's like a taboo in the group." He shakes his head and looks off to the side.
He grimaces. "He's so stupid though. Why go for Monica when you're right here? You're perfect in ways I never imagined were possible. I've been watching you for years and fall more in love every time I see you. I've been complacent for years but I refuse to lose you because he wants to be an idiot."
My heart can't help but swoon at his confession. The elevated feeling from the praises he sang to me sinks back in and I can't stop my heart from wanting him. I want to reach out and pull him close to me but I'm hesitant. I'm obviously attracted to him but can I confidently say that I love this side of him? I only met him a few nights ago.
"I don't expect you to love me back right now. You just met me Friday night." He says as if he just read my mind. "But..."
His eyes snap back to me. Untamed desire pores from his golden hues and latch onto me. My breath is stuck in my throat and my muscles tense at the piercing glare he gives me. He takes two heavy steps before he's pressing himself against me. I drop the apple to the floor as his presence invades my space. The crushing feeling wraps around me again as he stares into my eyes.
"You're going to fall in love with me." His low and rich voice holds so much weight as he declares confidently. His hand grips the side of my neck. He presses his thumb against the start of my throat and I fight back the urge to gag. "I meant what I said, princess. We're just getting started. In time, you'll learn that you're bound to me. You can try to run but I'll find you. You're mine and mine alone."
That last line sounded like a threat. If he were to catch me with someone else, they'd be dead and I'd have to face his wrath alone. He's so dangerous but that danger has me salivating for him. There's still so much I want to ask. What triggers him to his other side? And what happened between him and Serenity?
I don't have time to think of any questions before he's lifting me onto the counter. I squeal at the sudden movement but slam my lips shut at the pure adoration flowing from his eyes. Does he...really love me?
He begins untwisting the bow keeping my robe close to me. A blush creeps onto my face when he sees that I'm not wearing much underneath. I'm dressed in a skimpy white spaghetti strap t-shirt with lacy scarlet panties hugging my waist. He curses when he sees my nipples poking from my shirt. There's no hiding that this side of him turns me on.
He moves his large hand to the back of my head and smashes our lips together. It surprises me but my body immediately falls into him. Our lips roughly press against each other as our bodies mold into each other. His hand buries itself in my wild curls and tugs at them. I slip out a moan which allows him to slip his wet tongue into my mouth. My thighs clench against him as I feel his hard crotch against my most sensitive muscle.
"So sweet," He murmurs. "I want to drown in you, Veronica." I groan at the sound of my name falling from his lips. "Drown me in your waves, baby," He plants a sweet kiss on my swollen lips. "But watch how I'll become the conqueror. Your waves will become mine and heed every command I tell them."
I whine feeling the pressure of him against him. I know what I want from him but my words are trapped in my chest. "I-I want to feel it," I manage to groan out. He looks at me intently waiting for me to finish my wish.
I swallow and find my voice. I look at him with all the confidence I can muster. "I want to feel your love for me."
His lips curl into an evil grin; something snaps beneath his eyes. I can tell I'm in for it now.
All the restraint he's been holding back withers away as he moves his hand to the sides of my hips. He grabs onto my panties and roughly pulls them down my legs. His nails roughly glide across my skin as he does. I weep for him as he tosses my panties onto the tile.
He spreads my legs and kneels before me, I could have an orgasm just by the sight. "Oh my gosh..." I breathe out when I feel his breath against me.
"I hope you're ready, darling." He drawls as he looks at me through his thick eyelashes.
His sultry voice vibrates against me making me release another whimper. His thirst for me seeps out as he stares at me through half-lidded eyes. "Because my love is strong and I don't plan to stop. Not even when you're begging and moaning. I'll keep going, I'll devour every drop of you and leave you screaming for more."
