Black Lives Matter

Totally worth sharing this! I do believe the Black Lives Matter movement is a worthy cause. I do not deny the real results of centuries of slavery and how it has transitioned into modern day consequences.

There was a gentleman I saw on a live TV interview (posted online) who had brought up a very crucial point: America has been founded on fundamental sins that have gone on unresolved for centuries. The foundation of the country was primarily built upon the slaughtering of the native tribes that had dominion over the land prior to the European invasion, then followed by centuries of unjust, inhuman, and unGodly slavery of which this country was economically-dependent. This is why I prefer to say “Fund Education” rather than “Defund..” to anything (I think a real solution can be found in reforming & regulating the law enforcement structure with proper legislation and a massive restructured & genuinely-thorough training program similar to that in other countries).

A lot of people want to eliminate the currently disgraced law enforcement altogether, however, I can see a world where we have a justice system worthy of our tax dollars (without corruption). I believe we can have an honest justice system... Ya know - think a little more Frank Serpico and a lot less L.A. Confidential (if ya catch my drift).

There are good & bad people in every group - that’s how it goes...

...But that is not what this is about. This is about the years and years of inequality and the countless lives of African-American human beings who have been wrongly judged, accused, attacked, murdered, and collectively silenced for far too long (in a nation that states “In God We Trust” on our official currency). Well, if God is watching (as I do believe) then I’m sure there will be severe & harsh spiritual ramifications in this life (and the afterlife) for the ones who hate the skin colors God has bestowed us (that applies to all walks of life).

...I’d like to share some food for thought: If all of the racists in the world (because racism is not just a ‘white issue’ - it just so happens to be the one thing that white folks are the best at, but simultaneously deny any responsibility or accountability for creating) just so happened to wipe out all of the different and “inferior” races - well, eventually what is left to destroy?...

..Theoretically-speaking, if a “master race” were to destroy & remove every single race in the world that is not “supreme” - what happens when said “master race” discovers the subtle differences within it’s own race?...

..for instance, if White folks declared “White” as the “supreme race”, and successfully removed each race that is not white from the Earth - it would be mathematically-inevitable that each variation of white folks would then start fighting each other over such physical features such as eye color, hair color, gender, sexual orientation, geographic location, regional traditional values, individual creeds, and a variety of details that would truly succumb to “splitting hairs.”...

...my point is: whether it be White, Black, Brown, Green, Purple, Yellow, Blue - skin color never truly meant anything in terms of “superior” & “inferior” other than a physical result of subtle variations in skin pigment. If any one particular race deemed itself “supreme” and destroyed all races it would be a matter of time before the supreme race would divide itself into a physical process-of-elimination which is nothing more than a self-destructive formula. It’s futility no matter which way you slice it - even if one were to consider the enslavement of any “inferior” group - an uprising would be inevitable... So why bother go down that false path to do the devil’s work? We must Heal the divide in my humble opinion.

...Just a thought.

Oh! And by the way - Stay Safe, EVERYONE. We can work together - that is what makes America such an important & amazing country - our ability to overcome as a unified nation through every struggle. We can make a better way (together). God bless, everyone.🙂🤝

#OnThisDate: On this date last year (6/4/2020) was the first day that I went to the City of Troy,NY to view the “Black Lives Matter” art murals that were being painted at local businesses that were boarded up. These paintings were painted to raise awareness for “Black Lives Matter” and the recent shooting and killing of George Floyd and others whose lives were taken by gun violence. My friend, Jen Jenny, also had her balloon art on display at Muddaddy Flats which I got to check out too!! A year later, Troy is now decked out for “The Guilded Age” HBO TV Series but the importance of “Black Lives Matter” remains relevant today!! It was nice to watch these artist paint these beautiful murals and raise awareness about an important social matter !! “Black Lives Matter”! All Lives Matter!! And love each other!! Happy Friday!
