Oooh man, the Black Symphony live version of Jillian slaps so hard! That album in general just goes so hard, and Jillian in particular is already so good as a studio version, but this live is making me vibrate out of my skin. No wonder it's been one of my favourite band and favourite song for 15 years.

A random idea I had because of the “ I just wanna be part of your symphony “ meme

"Maybe I just want you to be part of my symphony," Sirius murmured. "Even if it's a little... off-key."

Remus swallowed. "You’re impossible."

Sirius’s grin softened into something a little more sincere. "Yeah, well, you make me want to be."

Remus was suddenly very aware of how close they were, how Sirius’s shoulder was brushing against his, how his breath smelled faintly of cinnamon and firewhisky.

"Okay," Remus said, his voice surprisingly steady. "But you have to promise me something."

Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? What’s that?"

"That when you make me part of your symphony... we don’t sound like a bunch of drunk trolls on bagpipes."

Sirius laughed, the sound so rich and warm it sent a wave of heat through Remus’s chest. "I’ll do you one better." He paused for a beat. "I’ll make sure it’s the most beautiful, off-key mess you’ve ever heard. Just you and me."

And for the first time that night, Remus allowed himself to smile fully, the way he had been wanting to all along.

"Deal," he whispered, his fingers gently brushing against Sirius’s.
