i somehow stumbled upon a poi video while youtube spelunking and i’m reminded again how furious i was at tumblr’s reaction when root died. i know it was off the heels of lexa’s death, but i choose to believe the way this shitsite mobilized after root’s death led to such a subpar finale season. unlike the show lexa was in, poi was actually good. and then we got randos who never even watched poi, who only joined in the mob as soon as they heard a lesbian character died, to start disparaging the show.
