Sirius feeling lost and depressed in London, so he decides he’s going to travel someplace new all by himself. Naturally he chooses where to travel by putting a hand over his eyes while throwing a darts arrow at a map of Europe.

James and Regulus drive him to the airport, of course. Said drive is spent with James being a mother hen, asking him every five minutes if he’s absolutely sure he wants to go alone, which he assures him that he is. When he's checked in and ready to go through security, James' lips start to wobble, then Sirius' eyes start to water, soon enough they're both crying. From the way they embrace you'd think they were a couple and that Sirius is going off to war. Meanwhile Reg just stands there awkwardly and mortified like 🧍🏻‍♂️

He lands in Norway, checks in at his hotel and picks up a tourist guide brochure. Quickly, he settles on a hike, since the city he's in is known for its beautiful nature and many mountains. Thank god James packed some athletic wear for him, or he’d look a fool climbing a mountain in Docs and his leather jacket.

On the way up he can already feel that the air there is different, like he can breathe easier away from his suffocating family and responsibilities in England. He made the right choice.

As he reaches the top he’s too caught up in the incredible view to pay attention to anything else, so he walks straight into the back of someone tall and broad. He nearly tumbles to the ground from the impact, and would have, had it not been for strong arms catching him. "Oi, vær forsiktig! Gikk det bra? Slo du deg?" The stranger says, his hazel eyes sparkling with concern, and a glint of something else.

It’s simply the most gorgeous person Sirius has ever seen, and he is so hypnotised by the lovely man that he doesn’t even register that he is, in fact, not speaking English. So he just nods dumbly, willing himself to look away from his face. "I'm sorry about that." He mumbles sheepishly, a flush creeping up his neck. The man chuckles for some reason, then grins widely, prompting Sirius to do the same. "I'm Remus."
