Summary:

If this is Undertaker’s doing, I’d say this is very evil and cruel. Imagine taking out the characteristics that comprise Ciel, his surroundings and the people around him and make it a joke just to make him lose his mind. Building a replica of the manor, educating children that are similar to the Phantomhive servants, to cloning Ciels. If the former reaper really cared for the Phantomhives as he claimed to be then something is really wrong in the picture. Somehow my head canon (or the collective head canon) that he’s related to the family is crumbling. You’d do this to exact revenge on someone you really despise not to salvage your family. But yes, he’s learned to be spiteful throughout the centuries.

Or is it Ciel’s older twin brother’s plan all along, an army of himself?

Bard and Sebastian’s early encounters are hilarious!!!

I’m glad we finally get to see Bard’s past, sad though it is (referring to the possible cannibalism scene), but Chapter 176 has some of the best moments I’ve seen between Sebastian and Bard.

First, Bard’s first attempt at cooking in the manor:

I like how Sebastian tries to be nice and a gentle teacher, but Bard reacts negatively to that, so...

I like that this not only shows Sebastian’s impatience as he gets used to having the three servants around, but also works to show how Bard eventually builds up so much respect for Sebastian. I also noticed that Sebastian insists on calling him “Mr. Bardroy” in spite of what Bard wants, though we know he calls him “Bard” later. So there’s some real development for both of them in the future, and that’s exciting!!!
