He's bringing the group back together entirely for himself, just so he doesn't feel guilty, and to make up for the leadership he failed to provide. He's doing it for what he wants to do now, which is staying as a group. Since your friend is being this selfish, don't you want to support him somehow?

Everyone out here talking about Crowley's hinted at memory problems. How he remembers Heaven and making the stars, but not working with Saraqael. How he remembers going into battle, but not with Furfur. How he doesn't seem to remember Aziraphale in Eden, even though it turns out they met at the Pillars of Creation. How he knows what it's like, looking where the furniture isn't. Memory fussing. Clearly something Heaven Does.

But no one is talking about that Heaven's memory wiping was only mentioned once directly. And only in reference to Gabriel, who was explicitly not being cast down to Hell, but demoted.

Like some Cherub-turned-Principality, which could be either a promotion or demotion, depending on what Angelic Hierarchy you subscribe to?¹

What if the reason Crowley and Aziraphale's meeting in Eden seemed so first-meeting-ish not just because only Crowley's memory was messed with?

What if Aziraphale's memories had been also?

Neil said that these two had known each other for a LONG time between the s2 meet cute and the beginning of actual time/their meeting in Eden.² Surely Crowley would have given his name at SOME point if that were the case. And we know Aziraphale had a hard time switching from Crawly to Crowley, so even if he assumed his newly Fallen friend had intended to choose a new name, there's almost no way he *wouldn't* have just called him by whatever name he already knew him as. Why does he wait for Crawly to introduce himself, instead of just referring to him as Raphael, or Baraqiel, or Kokabiel, or Jophiel or whatever your favorite Proto-Crowley Angel Name is? And why does it seem like they don't even know each other, even a little bit?

What if they knew each other super well in Heaven, and after the Battle, both had their memories mucked about in, and both got Demoted??

What if in Eden they were meeting for the first time again, and they still ended up choosing each other over Heaven and Hell????

What if nothing the powers of Heaven and Hell can do can keep these two Inefffable Idiots apart????

starscream was born too early to be a Tumblr sexyman specifically but you must understand. starscream has in spirit been a sexyman since the TF fandom had enough reach for everyone to share their sexyman vision for him. i got into TF via TFA in 2007, when Livejournal was still clinging on in the interstitial period when we were all moving away and ff.net was still where i was reading most of my fic. it was well established by then. it was an era when Armada starscream still had an influence on us all; the importance of Armada on the fandom understanding of Starscream simply cannot be underestimated, by the way, if you were there, you know. but even beyond that. half the shit you may think of as a Post Tumblr Fandom Phenomenon is nothing of the sort. they were doing that shit to my guy on geocities personal fic archives dated like, 2001. i have saved snapshots of NSFW fic archives hosted on literal actual porn webhosts (back in the days when that was a thing people did) featuring the most elaborately weird no homo m/m starscream fic you can imagine. so much of the TF Starscream Fanon Stuff TM predates every major platform we now even talk on. he has had this effect on particular parts of the fandom for like. thirty years now. a true constant. incredible, really. inspiring.

its the way while everyone is worried for phaya (rightfully so) yai is so, so scared for tharn. he knows if phaya doesn't wake up, doesn't come back, he'll lose tharn forever. tharn already lost someone and he watched it steal tharn's happiness and his smile. he's seen the way phaya brings out tharn's smile and breathes life into him again and he knows losing phaya will destroy tharn completely. he can't let that happen even if he has to beg and threaten phaya to come back, he can't lose his brother.

Unpopular Opinion Time!

Jun is right.

Okay! Okay! Put the pitchforks down! I'm not saying what he did was right, but I still think he has a point.

Thame is a 100% green flag. He's absolutely sweet, extremely adorable, and he always makes it a point to make Po feel important. And i fosho believe that for they are good for each other and deserve the best! They are endgame in my heart too!

Buuuut! I think Jun sees things in Po that he isn't even ready to see in himself yet. Idk if Jun likes Po romantically or not, and I'm not gonna speculate (though the delicious angst of that! Oof). I also think it doesn't matter because what we all should be focusing on is that he cares a lot about everyone, and he definitely cares about Po and Thame.

And for some reason, he has this screwed-up logic that making himself the bad guy is the best way to resolve the situation. He did it when he wanted Thame to escape the slave contract and go to Korea, and he's doing it now by making Thame and Po confront their feelings (I bet he probably did that when Dylan and Thame were getting close too 🤷🏽‍♀️ coz let's be honest Dylan- also very rough around the edges).

Now, I will always be a Jun defender. But, we as the audience know what happened to Po in his previous relationship that neither Jun nor Thame know (I don't think, correct me if I'm wrong). And Thame is perfect! But Jun puts in the effort to make Po feel like he's smart, talented and capable- Granted it's by scolding and teasing him- but it's still true.

I love love looovveeee the air hockey scene. Like so many things about it hit!! But I love it when Jun switches sides from being the red flag villain, back to Thame and Po's friend. Oooooooof.

Like, yeah. He's done playing the bad guy because the situation is resolved. Thame might think they both have an equal chance, but Jun knows that that's simply not true. And now he knows the right thing to do, so he does it. He concedes.

I know ThamePo is endgame. I accept it! So tell me WHYYYY!?

Tell me why this scene makes me hurt?!?!

I'm not going to speculate if Jun liked Po romantically. But I'd be damned if I let people go around calling Jun "annoying" and "unnecessary" without saying something about it. Because I think he is doing the best he can for those he loves the way he knows how. It's screwed up, but his heart is in the right place! And the minute he gets told there is a better way to help, he does.

Remember that scene in ep2, the whole perspective switch we got about him being Thame's number 1 hater? He's that kinda guy and I love him!

Wait, what if EP 13 of Thame Po is the documentary Po’s directing??

Jun couldn’t understand why Po liked Thame so much when he’s the one encouraging Po to take his job seriously. He’s the one pushing Po to his full potential. He’s the one helping Po with his job as well. Obviously we know that Thame is trying to be with Po. He’s juggling his passion for being an idol while wanting to be with Po. But Jun just sees Po being in love with someone who doesn’t deserve his love. But he realized Thame does genuinely like Po so Jun backed away from pursuing Po because he knows that Thame and Po like each other so there’s no point. He wanted to be an option for Po, but he kept avoiding Thame when he realized he was never an option.

That’s why I also love the MARS storyline on top of ThamePo’s relationship. I love seeing the friendship of MARS, but more importantly Thame and Jun’s friendship. He likes Po a lot, but he also didn’t want his friendship to be ruined over a man so he backed away and pushed Thame and Po together.
