SO Izuku is a morning person that can’t wake up vs Kacchan being a night owl who won’t allow himself to waste the daytime.

Katsuki has a full skincare routine he shares with Deku because he says he has bad skin but really because he likes taking care of Izuku.

Izuku is…possessive. That’s not new but he’s always the more jealous one of both of them. He’s still a little touchy about their relationship breaking down again and has no trouble politely telling people to screw off when they make a slight at their relationship or Katsuki himself. Katsuki has no problem letting him and preens at the attention.

Izuku and Kacchan spend a lot of time sparring and then going to bed together just to hold and be held.

Whenever Izuku lands in the hospital Kacchan is always there on his right side with a book in one hand and thumbing over Izuku’s scars with the other.

Katsuki is a seriously attentive partner. He wants to be sure that Izuku is secure in their relationship so he’s usually the one who plans dates, dinners, or goes all out on birthdays.

Katsuki’s safe place is with Izuku. After the war he always finds himself more at ease around him. He’ll usually have a hand in his at all times and tends to smile more and more often around him.

Katsuki confesses first (not a hc i just seriously think that’s going to happen)

Izuku is highly oblivious and even after becoming boyfriends has trouble understanding some of the simpler forms of Katsuki’s love for him.

Katsuki might be a little obsessed with Izuku’s right hand. If he’s holding Izuku’s hand it’s going to be the right one. If only he knows that’s the hand he refused to take years ago he’s okay with that. Izuku finds this sweet and always thought his hand must be rough to look at — let alone hold — but Katsuki tells him that’s stupid while holding that same hand to his cheek.

They get those fucking All Might cards signed at the same time.

Katsuki is gay/Demi and Izuku is pansexual. They both don’t really like casual relationships. Katsuki hates wasting time and Izuku is too heartfelt to have something so impersonal.

Game night is taken deadly seriously at their apartment. They pin chores on the loser. (Usually Izuku haha)

Izuku rarely wakes up before Katsuki but when he does he just lays there watching him until they both get up.

They visit All Might together often to ask him advice. He finds them very sweet together and lets them know to their endless embarrassment.

They tease each other constantly.

They often stay in at home together rather than go on dates too often. They do most of their outings with their friends.

God they just love each other so much it’s disgusting.

deku gets one for all from all might for saving another kid from the sludge villain. he gets into the hero course at UA and so does bakugou, and they meet for the first time in class

they butt heads IMMEDIATELY. like, they do not like each other. deku thinks bkg is too aggressive and mean and bkg thinks deku is a crybaby who's annoyingly nice. like deku was like "good morning bakugou!" and bkg was like "shut up i hate u" and deku was like "ok fuck u too" and they've just been enemies ever since

naturally because of this animosity they get paired up together literally all the time. bkg calls deku "deku" because he's like ur so fuckin useless and deku calls bkg "kacchan" solely because it annoys the hell out of him. deku makes his hero name deku solely out of spite because it makes bkg so fucking enraged

and then they start spending so much time together they fall in love. deku wakes up one day like "holy shit kacchan sugoi" and then goes back to bed like fuck i am not dealing w this rn and bkg wakes up one day like "NO FUCK I LIKE DEKU FUCK" and proceeds to literally forget how to Emote and like combust

their dynamic quickly shifts to "kacchan ur so amazing!!" "i thought i sucked balls shitty deku?" "u can suck my balls ;)" "WHAT-"

- They’re basically attached to the hip after they get together. They had already worked their relationship back up to ‘my bff since childhood’ so they’re all inside jokes, play fighting, and completely comfortable with each other. After the confession, they just added a layer of romantic activities and romantic intent to their friendship: disgustingly sappy kisses (forehead, cheeks, noses, lips, wherever), domestic activities (not weird to find them cooking together in the kitchen or curled up together on the couch), light bickering (“Why did we have to get up so early, Kacchan?!” “Tough shit, fucker. We’re not slacking on training just because we’re visiting our parents.”) It’s like their basically married already, and the class would absolutely tease them if they weren’t so sappy, gross, and cute.

- Money may or may not have changed hands after they told their parents (“What the fuck are you grinning for, hag?” “Oh nothing~”)

- Katsuki’s intimidation levels have been reduced to basically zero because Izuku is with him most of the time, and he is so soft for Izuku he might as well be a lovesick puddle. Izuku can be intimidating enough for both of them (protective Deku rights). 

- Fighting is part of their love language. They make fighting together look like an art form. They all but dance across the battlefield together and together they rise to the top ten before they turn twenty. Since they’re a duo, they technically don’t compete on the charts, but they absolutely both obsessively keep track of their individual stats for captures, property damage, rescues, etc ( “HA! Take that, Deku! I’m beating you in rescues AND captures!” “Amazing, Kacchan, but your property damage is nearly double mine for this week. I bet I’ll beat you next week AND have a lower amount of damage.” “I think fucking not, shit nerd.”)

- The class has a video of Katsuki asking Deku to be his hero partner and a video of Deku proposing to Katsuki, and there isn’t really any difference in their expressions or tone.

baku, as a smol child, maybe for once in his damn life, could see things as they actually were. and he loved showing off his quirk for deku cause deku was always so excited about it???? and deku had always said (even before he got his quirk) that kacchan would be just as awesome as all might

i think some aspects of baku’s personality would still remain, like i don’t think he’d recognize how badly it hurt deku when he was told he didn’t have a quirk. and as little kids are prone to do, i think he’d still have made fun of deku for it without realizing

but deku still sticks around cause baku is still the coolest person he knows, and he still looks up to him, and baku starts to figure out that deku is much happier when he doesn’t talk as much about his own quirk. besides, plenty of other people ask him to show off his quirk, so he still gets to do it a lot. besides, he can show deku that he’s still the best even without a quirk. cause it wouldn’t be fair if he beat deku at all their games just cause he has a quirk and deku doesn’t

so instead of pushing deku away, they push each other to get stronger (quirk or no). they’re always in competition, but it’s not as enemies, it’s as friendly rivals. the first time deku broke a bone was falling from a tree seeing which of them could climb higher (get used to that feeling deku buddy) it’s also the first time baku figured out how to use his quirk to help him land safely on the ground - baku fell first, and deku tried to catch him

baku still absolutely hates accepting help from anyone, but deku’s figured out how to make everything sound like a competition. baku knows that’s exactly what he’s doing, but babie boye still has a fragile ego and is more than happy to let deku talk circles around it so he doesn’t have to feel like he’s accepting help

deku doesn’t mind tho, ya boi really really really really likes baku. but just as friends ofc cause like haha he doesn’t like, like-like kacchan. they’ve been friends for forever, they’re just really close! 

baku’s crush on deku hits like a ton of bricks falling from a 30-story building, after deku beats him at some pointless competition that ended with both of them out of breath and ready to collapse (they were racing get y’alls minds out of the gutter) and deku actually did collapse but it was intentional and he was laughing and baku was just like ‘oh fuck. oh fuck.’ and he suddenly summoned the power to run another half mile all the way home and hide in his room and ignore his messages and try not to blow anything up cause his mom would kill him

from that point on, baku is very careful around deku. he doesn’t touch him, doesn’t get too close, tries not to stare for too long when deku’s laughing. it’s always the laughing that gets him

and then deku says he’s gonna try to get into UA just like kacchan. and baku’s pretty sure his heart snaps in half. because deku doesn’t have a quirk and it’d be impossible, but he can’t be the one to say that, can he? deku’s never listened to his mom about it, insisted he could become a hero anyway. baku always changed the subject

no, baku can’t be the one to crush deku’s dreams. maybe it’s because he’s selfish, because he couldn’t handle deku crying because of something he said. so he lets deku apply, keeps his mouth shut when deku sits in the seat beside him. and he offers a tight-lipped good luck to deku as they’re split up for their practical entry exam

and baku does well - of course he does, he’s been training in all his spare time. he’s strong, his quirk is strong. he’s always known that. deku’s told him time and time again

when he gets his acceptance letter, he doesn’t tell deku. he can’t be the reason deku grins through tears at him, says that he’s so proud of kacchan and he knows he’ll be the greatest hero ever. not when he knows deku couldn’t have beaten a single one of those robots without a quirk

it’s deku that comes to him, knocking on his window in the middle of the night like they used to do when they were little and pretending to play heroes and villains in the late hours of the evening. and baku stares hard at his wall and wills deku to go away but he doesn’t. he doesn’t and doesn’t and still doesn’t and baku throws off his covers with the intent to yell at deku and tell him to go away because that’s easier than telling him the truth, any of the truth

but deku’s right outside the window - the bastard climbed up the side of baku’s house - and he’s prying at baku’s locked window in vain. and baku stands on the inside, watching him until he finally looks up. he yelps and nearly falls off, and baku tries not to laugh because this is serious, whatever’s about to happen is serious.

he can’t avoid it though, so he opens the damn window and lets damn deku in and braces himself for the worst

and it’s so much worse than he could’ve ever anticipated

kacchan:

kacchan gets hit with a truth quirk that basically makes it so you're in physical pain until u tell the person u feel the strongest for exactly how u feel for them, whether it be love or hate

obviously for bkg its love but deku being deku gets worried and thinks that kacchan's gonna like intensely hate him or smth because bkg is literally writhing with the effort it takes not to tell the truth. he's literally bedridden he's in so much pain

because he refuses to tell izuku he loves him. he doesnt deserve it

eventually izuku like breaks down in tears and he's like i cant stand seeing u so badly hurt please just tell me you hate me u dont have to try and protect me from your feelings i just want u to stop being in pain even if it means i have to live knowing you hate me

and bkgs like literally so mad abt this bullshit that he immediately confesses like bitch wtf?? im literally in love with you??? i-??

hi!! ive never done bkdk mermaids but ive always kinda wanted to!

deku has a dark green tail and it's shimmery and long and super pretty and it flows with his hair in the water and lets him swim smoothly. bkgs tail is orange and it looks gold and/or red depending on the lighting and it's more sharp and rigid and instead of flowing it like propels him through the water at breakneck speed

they've been childhood friends since birth. their parents are naturally close since they live in the same like part of the ocean, the same like mermaid community i guess and they just grew up together exploring and generally causing chaos

they did grow apart for a while as bkg starting becoming mean to deku as they got older and stopped being his friend for a while, but eventually deku stood up for himself and bkg apologized and they became best friends again. except this time, there's more

turns out they've fallen in love with each other which is kinda awkward bc due to them being mermaids they have to look at each other shirtless all the time and bc they're swimming everywhere deku always sees bkgs abs and core muscles tightening and he Stares Disrespectfully and bkg is always looking at deku's tail gorgeously swishing and his strong arms and he's like HELP

i think they'd have like a super romancing getting together scene where it's like a full moon and they break to the surface of the ocean to look at the night sky since their dream since they were little kids was to break the surface someday and when they do it they're just filled with so much exhiliaration and then they look at each other under the moonlight and just both plunge back underwater to like make out for a while. good for them

Bkdk au where they're both vigilantes

ooooh ok

so i've thought about this before and i still think deku's vigilante name would by victory. i am absolutely sure about this. anyway i kinda see it as like quirkless deku goes to like a different high school for like support heroes and from behind the scenes he sees all these atrocities the hero commission commits, and i think his breaking point would be seeing bkg get kidnapped. that's his middle school bully but also its kacchan and nobody saved him

not to mention endeavor. izuku's pissed about endeavor. so he becomes a vigilante named victory and his first stop is pummeling endeavor except when it gets to endeavors house to beat the shit out of him another vigilante is ALREADY THERE to ALSO beat the shit out of endeavor because thats a very popular event

the other vigilante is kacchan. he goes by dynamite with an -MITE because he's mad at all might in this au since the trigger for his vigilantism is also his kidnapping as well as residue trauma from the sludge villain and sports festival (the muzzle of which also pissed izuku off). despite not knowing each others identities they just agree to beat the shit out of endeavor together

endeavor ends up in jail for literal child abuse and conspiracy master todoroki has been trying to figure out who leaked endeavors crimes for like years since and he finally figures it out and invites vigilantes victory and dynamite to his secret lair

(its just his gigantic room of soba)

ANYWAY by this point despite their vigilante debut being as a team Victory and Dynamite have been sworn rivals since. todoroki basically confronts them both and makes them reveal their identities at which point he gets a lot more trouble then he bargained for because "DEKU???" "KACCHAN???" *angry boys beating the shit out of each other very homoerotically noises*

then they start working together again and fall in love and get married and todoroki takes full credit for their relationship and also writes endeavor a card that's like "the only useful thing you've ever done in your life is help get these two together rot in jail fuckhead"

bkg and deku are rivals of course, they're the captains of their respective ships? crews? im not well versed in pirate lore but they're respective captains and they're enemies in the sense of like they don't try to kill each other on sight but they don't allow the other onto their territory and fight for like goods and stuff

they team up against the LOV, and in this au they'd be like a ship full of snobby rich people that all for one is captain of

they have complementary fighting styles. deku is more about speed and stealth while bkg is big on brute force and frontal attack

they're very bad at admitting their feelings. they spend their entire cool pirate heist on the lov ship literally ignoring their emotions. almost kiss in the cargo hold but then some guy interrupts them

after their super cool heist is finished the guy who interrupted them is like all tied up and he's like "so yall gonna kiss or what"

and then bkdk are forced to talk about their feelings and profess their love to each other and then kiss and the guy is like hell yeah

in this universe their feelings towards each other are the same of course, deku gets over his general dislike of bkg quickly when he sees how like cool and sugoi he is and quickly changes to admiration - except he's constantly repressing it so he's like "OMG KACCHAN SUGOI-WAIT NO WE'RE SWORN RIVALS"

and bkg just hates deku with all of his being until the hatred turns to love so it goes from "shitty deku with his stupid freckles and his dumb hair and his ugly mug" (derogatory) to "shitty deku with his stupid freckles and his dumb hair and his ugly mug" (affectionate)

deku is both the more possessive and more jealous one. people think it’s bkg but nah it’s deku you wanna look out for

bkg never gets over the feeling of being undeserving and has a hard time forgiving himself. he’s not even sure if he really ever did but thankfully deku has forgiven him and loves bkg enough for the both of them

deku is an absolute slut for the holiday season, and basically all the holidays ever. bkg thinks every single one of them is pointless except for japanese holidays of course, cause he actually believes in them. but he’ll indulge in izuku’s western holiday traditions because he loves deku

bkg has more nightmares than deku and also has more severe panic attacks and PTSD symptoms. on bad days a hug or even a handshake is too much and deku, despite being a touchy person, will always back off and kinda be like bkgs guard dog on his bad days. deku will bite anyone’s head off for coming near bkg if he needs to

bkg is asexual and deku is demiromantic. deku has never experienced romantic attraction for someone other than bkg and while he is horny for kacchan he doesn’t actually give any fucks if they do the nasty or not…so they just don’t. or they do, if bkg wants to. you’ll never know it’s their business lol. no seriously though deku is super supportive and bkg loves him sm

the first time deku got into a bad accident and landed in the hospital after they started dating he woke up and saw the absolute pain and horror in bkgs eyes, realized that he made kacchan cry, and he didn’t even need bkgs lecture on self preservation to stop being so reckless. deku got the lecture anyway and listened carefully to it cuz he was like I deserve this I made kacchan cry

bkg got all the relationship firsts except saying i love you first and proposing. ily because he had a very hard time saying it while deku could say it all the time, though eventually bkg was able to say it, and proposing bc deku beat him to it. but bkg got confessed first, kissed deku first, asked deku to move in, took deku out on the first date, etc. he had to give deku this one thing

bkg and deku confirm every rumor the tabloids spread about them just for fun. they like to spread misinformation so heroes weekly readers thing bkg cheated on deku while pros off duty readers think bkdk are pregnant from a quirk accident

todoroki is absolutely convinced bkg and him are the best of friends in the entire world right up until the point they start dating. clean friends to lovers. bkg thinks they went from sworn enemies fated to kill each other to sworn enemies dated to kill each other who also happen to be dating

bkdk and tdbk are opposites in that bkdk are that one mushy couple u hate being around. they PDA all the time dekus always hanging off bkg and kissing him and bkg always has an arm around deku or they’re holding hands. while tdbk literally just hang around each other with no indication that they’re dating. everyone thinks they’re just like mild acquaintances but in reality they’re so in love they just hate PDA

tddk may be best friends and they aren’t jealous of each other dating bkg at all but they love to pretend both of those statements are lies. they’ll just go around joke fighting over bkg so much it seems real. deku is the most possessive little shit and todoroki is wrapped around bkgs little finger and oh lord do they compete for blasty boy love. bkg is so done with them

todoroki and bkg can make each other smile the easiest. they just find joy in each other so effortlessly and don’t really smile that often, but they’re always smiling around each other and share the fact that deku is someone else who can make them smile a lot. but todoroki and bkg smile for each other the most it just comes easy

bkdk are so disgustingly in love that sometimes todoroki feels like a third wheel to his own boyfriend. he’s never jealous of course he just knows they’re more overt with their relationship and he’s very secure in his and bkgs relationship. mostly he finds it funny that bkdk are constantly all over each other and ofc todoroki is very glad they’re in such a good place now.

- Izuku is a night owl and Katsuki is an early bird, but they both love cuddles (even though Katsuki won't admit it). Katsuki will drag Izuku to bed at an earlier time so he can fall asleep with his face buried in the crook between Izuku's neck and shoulder. Izuku tries to respect Katsuki's early mornings, but sometimes he just wants to stay wrapped around his boyfriend and sleep in a bit. Katsuki acts annoyed, but Deku is really cute and grumpy in the morning and Katsuki loves it.

- Deku is the tallest of the two and he’s the possessive one. Katsuki might be firey, but you don’t know fear until you see a cheery faced Deku standing over Katsuki’s shoulder with an aura radiating ‘take one step closer to my man and you’ll wish you’d never been born’

- Absolutely that couple. They are all over each other, all the time. They have an arm wrapped around a waist or a shoulder, hugging an arm, or holding hands, and they kiss like there is no one else in the room, even if there definitely is.

I kinda wanted to help your writers block with a swap personality bakudeku thing

AUs are fine, they just give me a little more thought because it's more specific. But the interesting part of your ask is that I've actually already written a bkdk personality swap fic. It was my first fic on AO3 and I remember it fondly. I did reread it before I wrote these hcs, but it was just so I didn't copy too much.

- My absolute FAVORITE personality swap hc is Katsuki doing the arm thing that Izuku does when he's embarrassed. Katsuki usually responds to embarrassment with anger while Izuku gets flustered...but it all changes when personailities get swapped >:) I could see Izuku being WAY more brazen and flirtatious than he normally would and Katsuki just being RED. Blushing from head to toe because his boyfriend is being hella sweet and embarrassing. 

- Izuku is about 10 times scarier than Katsuki ever could be. Katsuki keeps affirming to his somewhat fearful peers that Deku is the nice person he usually is, he just has Bakugou’s aggressive personality, but Deku’s general ferallness (which is usually housed internally by his more agreeable personality) combined with a more feral personality is a terrifying combo. Bakugou isn’t super possessive, but Deku is, and during their swap Izuku was constantly hovering ominously over Katsuki’s shoulder like a silent sentinel crossed with a feral attack dog. 

- Katsuki misses Izuku’s smiles, but he is unknowingly murdering not just Deku but also everyone else with every smile that he gives. He doesn’t even realize that he’s smiling, but damn is it breathtaking.

ochako is definitely one to get overstressed easily, so she has all kinds of tactics she uses to make herself relax

she loves her alone time, she really likes to put on some music and lie in bed doing face masks and watching her favorite show

she really loves self care. every once in a while she'll have a self care day where she takes a long bath, exfoliates, spend extra time on making her hair healthy and soft, and use like a bright pink bath bomb every time without fail and just fully relax

ochako also really likes to have karaoke night when she does her makeup and belts songs into her hairbrush

these two cannot dress themselves. like at all. the difference is that deku literally is incapable of dressing himself and bakugou actually like purposefully dresses awful out of pure spite

deku dresses like a straight man. he does not try ever. basketball shorts and T shirts and sweats and sweatshirts and what i believe is the worst combination in the history of the world that i have seen before with my very own eyes, sweats, socks, and SLIDES

bakugou actually has a really great fashion sense, but he prefers to dress either loud and bold or all black and emo because either way isn't really seen as desirable or something people would praise him for, and i can definitely see bkg just wanting one way to a) piss off his fashion industry parents out of spite bc all they want is for him to dress himself all cute and b) so that he can have one thing to himself because i feel like he'd just want this one thing to be really out there so that poeple don't like constantly praise him

because i think there's definitely an extent to his praise tolerance, i think he'd really hate praise about something like clothes. he'd want the autonomy of dressing however he wants

bakugou also wears a lot of his dad's clothes. bc he loves him

deku unironically loves how bakugou dresses. he also really likes bakugou's clothes, for both the smell and how comfy they are. he's always walking around in one of bkgs skull shirts or aji fry shirts and his sweatpants and one of masaru's hawaiian shirts that kacchan stole from him that deku stole from kacchan

bkg can dress himself properly, and does when he has to for like formal events or he wants to make an effort. for his first date with deku he actually dressed well and deku almost fully nosebled right there at the ramen place. bkg was very smug about it

bkg teaches deku how to dress himself, which he soon regrets because deku looks even hotter when his clothes are stylish. he'll wear skinny jeans and a tight t-shirt and bkg is like fuck my life

deku is about three years older then katsuki. they did grow up together but deku was never really someone bkg cared about since they were in different age groups and therefore never really played together. this all changed, however, when bkg was diagnosed quirkless and him and izuku became the only two quirkless kids in the neighborhood. bkg started calling izuku deku as a joke bc deku became a bit like bkg's protector since he'd been used to the bullies for a while and bkg was all like i don't need ur protection nerd. anyway as children they fanboyed over all might together but bkg was realistic about how they couldn't be heroes so they fantasized about a world where they could be heroes and made realistic future plans together (izuku a quirk analysist, bakugou starting as a model and then taking over his parent's fashion empire)

they grow apart when izuku is in his last year of middle school, after he saves bakugou from the sludge villain (this happens the same as in canon but bkg is quirkless so its worse), and deku is offered OFA by all might. deku wants to tell bkg but since he's older he thinks he has to protect kacchan, so he doesn't tell bkg anything. bkg can tell izuku is keeping secrets and once he gets into UA its the last straw for bkg and he gets angry, confronting deku. deku refuses to tell him under the excuse of having to protect him, so bkg starts purposely closing off from deku when he goes to UA. eventually UA implements the dorm system (tokoyami is kidnapped instead) and they stop talking

bkg moves away and starts a modeling career at his parent's fashion company but in a different location in japan. by the time he and deku meet again he's working as both a famous model and training to become the CEO of his parent's company. bkg is following deku's progress as a hero and is annoyed he cant seem to figure out where deku's quirk came from, or if he was lying the whole time, since deku never said anything, but he cant help but watch deku since he admires him so much. they meet again when deku is relocated to bkgs city and his patrol route passes the building bkg works at every day and bkg sees deku like jump off his roof when he's at work and he's like what the fuck is that deku. bkg confronts deku the next day and dekus faced with an older, self sufficient, capable kacchan who can handle things himself. so they meet for coffee, reconnect, and deku tells bkg everything about OFA and all might

bkg and deku start meeting up more and bkg learns more about OFA and deku's experiences in UA and yells at him to be less self-sacrificing and also to stop thinking of him as that little quirkless kid. they're both so much more. and deku is just enamored with this new kacchan, although he loved the old kacchan too. point is he's absolutely in love and keeps saying how amazing kacchan is and bkgs like you're the amazing one, you're the pro hero. and deku's like u don't have to be a hero to be amazing kacchan ur so cool and they just have this horrible pining stage in which bkg feels bad cuz he was so mean to deku when he didn't know abt OFA, and deku feels super guilty for not trusting bkg with the secret in the first place. eventually they hash this out and both bk and dk forgive each other

when they finally get together, it's after almost a year because these two are just stupid. but eventually they get together and they go to hero conventions and runway shows together. bkg sits next to deku at his booth and scares away any flirty fans, and when deku leaves for a break he stands in line and gets a bunch of deku merch, and then makes his bf sign it. deku always gets so flustered and blushy its adorable. meanwhile bkg becomes the CEO of his parents company but still does work as a model just for fun, and deku is enamored with his shows. he thinks bkg is the hottest and most badass model ever and always brings him flowers and cheers for him at every show. bkg pretends to be embarrassed but he loves it

the end!! this was fun to flesh out!! im definitely gonna write this someday, but there'll be more plot and stuff so it doesn't just exactly follow these hcs. but yeah this is my quirkless!bkg x hero!deku au!!
