Why, why, why is it that when I searched yt for xiao zhan willing to find a particular add, half of the results when bjyz videos? Why? sometimes I just really hate the whole world. I didn't watch the video, but the title of one insisted that somehow the last douyin Xiao Zhan posted is "proof" of their relationship. And somebody claimed that the couch in the picture you have as your header now is wyb's couch. Or that wyb has been there, although that post of wyb's was from 2019 I guess. And that Xiao Zhan is petting Jianguo's cheeks bc they remind him of wyb's cheeks. Like how about he's petting his cat cause it's his cat?! These people are insane and I don't know how they're capable of reaching that far.

That's because 🐢 tag it as "CPN" aka its couple nǎo = couple brain (it's a chi-term). Which means whatever is tagged underneath are by-products of the cp delulu way of thinking, and it's not hard facts, not to be treated as real evidence.

I'll give you a very recent example. 🐢 think of Doumo Cathedral to be a CPN just because a) XZ posted in 2019 b) in 2016, Italian Senate passes bill recognizing same-sex unions and its supporters took a photo in front of the Cathedral. In reality, that cathedral is one of the most popular spots in Milan right in the middle of city centre, so photographing there isn't a big deal, Cai Xukun, Li Yunchun etc have filmed photographs and vlogs there. Secondly.. as much as 🐢 believes the theory, the reality is a gay couple can't get married in Doumo Cathedral out of all places. Its a Catholic Church, and gay marriages in Italy can only have "civil unions". Honestly, some of these people should read up on it, Google is free.

Lastly, what the relationship between XZ and WJW is at present, no one knows. It's all speculation.

BXGs are clowning hard over the Roseonly and Peace Elite qixi ads that just dropped today, and rightfully so. Interesting choice of wordings and timing. The obvious interpretation is the theme of Love and Peace, but we can always clown. Indeed things are a little 👀.

Just like how the planet of the little prince regained its brilliance as the rose descended upon it, in #peace elite we are no longer alone because we have met each other.

Romance is defending you from the rain of bullets in the game; also in giving you firm love and protection in life.

With the passionate romance belonging to the battlefield brought into the real world, I confess my love with this joint name (referring to the co-branded merch, the collab): I want to give you the most precious love.

I actually don't believe GGDD had any influence over the copy or how the collab was being marketed. But whether or not this is intentional or if the brands are riding on the CP or whether GGDD had any say in this, objectively speaking, no two brands would embark on a collaboration if their spokesperson/ambassador are at loggerheads or are not agreeable to be tied together indirectly. This just doesn't make business sense, and isn't good for brand image, especially if the fans get into online wars because of it or even boycott the brand. The fans are the $$ here when it comes to pushing goods.

And it's not the first time GG and DD's brand endorsements collide. There's G Shock x Budweiser, Budweiser x KXZ, Li Ning x Stride, KFC x Budweiser, Eleme x Budweiser. These are just the few off the top of my head. Pretty sure there are more.

And why is that so? Even disregarding all the CPN or speculations about them working together or referring resources to each other, obviously this could only mean one thing. Contrary to what antis try to spread or what some solos want to believe, GGDD are not rivals, they don't hate each other or are trying to sabotage each other. Even if you don't believe in SZD, the logical conclusion would still be that they are on good terms.

Sometimes all it needs is for one to step back and look at an issue with an objective eye, instead of blindly following others or overreacting or having self-doubt.

Honestly it's GGDD's personalities that inspire and attract me, their individual works and content (which is a lot..woohoo!) Also the fan works, particularly fan fic. There is always so much going on, and so much more to catch up on.

Obviously I'm a 🐢 but to me, they are more than just a ship. The candies and sweet moments are just the cherry on top. SZD is not everything.

Of course they are better together but just as enjoyable individually.

lol. but seriously. I’ll just list down the things i enjoy in the fandom that has nothing to do with new on cam interactions. why this fandom is still active despite everything.

• gg/web are both active and bxgs truly enjoy whatever solo content they put out. dramas, endorsements or whatever. the community will always have traffic cause this two have something new to give the fans. more clowning material if you ask me. we even pair up their endorsement characters. lol. drama roles become inspiration for new AU pairings like ChenWei for example. This is important. cause you can only stay in the fandom for a limited amount of time if you’re just here for candies and daily validation.

• the people! If you are able to make your own space and know your place in this fandom— it’s glorious!

• FANWORKS. I swear. If GG/Web are quiet, you will have your hands full with what’s out there for you. The fandom has very active writers/artists, so people are kept busy. Plus the fan merch! Oh the fan merch! No one needs a dozen BJYX standee! Or do they? lol.

If you also look at the BJYX ST, they have lots of meet ups and events ( like the art exhibits i love to post here )

• Fake Rumor House. Everyone’s guilty pleasure. It’s our fake inside look into thing we cannot see. ✌🏼

• The seemingly unlimited amount of CQL behind the scenes content. There is a long conversation on if it’s right to look into the unofficial content but i’m not gonna go into that. I’m citing this as an example cause all the unofficial bts and photos are basically feeding the fandom. Especially last year. So many things to unwrap and new interactions!

• CPN! All the theory and speculation we come up with. It’s fun ( and sometimes scary when it’s waaay too real. SZD! ).

• We also have lots of active fansites. Seriously. Lovely pictures. And if you are the type that likes photobooks, the fandom has that too.

That’s all I can think of right now. With all that’s going on within the fandom, it’s not gonna die out anytime soon. 😋

Hello Anon! Welcome to the Fandom! So, I just wanna start with — whatever it is you end up being in this fandom is all up to you. If you decide that they are cute together and you just wanna stan them both, that’s cool. Looks like you are not yet on the SZD train, hence, you being worried. It’s okay if you never get to SZD. It’s not a requirement. It takes time and that conclusion will not be up to me or any blogger here or anywhere. I personally encourage people to think on their own. I’m just here to share what I know/ my thoughts but it’s not mandatory to believe everything.

So about the whole one-sided thing.

People really express themselves in different ways. In real life, you might have an s/o who is not ‘showy’ or the flowers/dates kind of guy but that doesn’t mean they don’t love you. Those who posts pics of their s/o on social media does not mean they have a perfect relationship. This one sided worry is pretty common for people who are new because of the material that is out there available to find first. You have WANG straightforward screaming didi ai ni can’t get a proper picture of him cause he is always looking at his zg YIBO. Then you have GG who seems like he is just playing along.

There is really no competition who expresses it more. They are both Captains of this ship. In this fandom, when Web gives candies— it will be enough to tide you over. Small clues. But when it’s GG who decides to give a candy, it’s gonna be ALOT. be prepared. Most of the things he does are unwashable. like what happened in his Qingdao vlog or that time he said Web was more clingy than Jianguo. That’s just two examples. There is almost no room to misunderstand. It is what it is.
