Wimbledon and pickle canning go well together! I’m listening to the match more than watching. We have more jars of refrigerator pickles going in the frig today. They are zesty, crunchy, and delicious! They’re available in chips, Spears and cubes. The combination of our onions with the seasoning and our cucumbers makes for a tasty treat. Our seed saving is going well, we have bitter melon seeds drying and some ready for storage. Reusing spice/seasoning jars works well. See how we use our vegetables in our hobo or foil meals while camping. They were delicious! In town for the Beaufort Water Festival come by the farmers market at @penncenter Saturday morning 10:00am-3:00pm to sample pickles, talk about vegetables, and get what you need for your meals next week! While on the Penn Center campus visit the York W. Bailey Museum and the Sliceoff Welcome Center.
