Just revamped an old character from 2017, this time we have Canary!

Originally starting off as a grossly bright highlighter yellow bird-Puff I made about 5 years ago, recently I finally got around to giving her a more planned out design. She is now a Vocaloid Birdon who is hinted at keeping her 'soul' from her past appearance as a funny way of keeping the past life/design canon. Anniversary A Royal Visit.

Last year I uploaded the first chapter of A Royal Visit, and to celebrate its anniversary and, coincidentally, also my birthday - I wanted to draw something special to thank everyone who supported me throughout its run. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. This fic is what made me fall in love with writing again, and I have everyone who read it and commented on it to thank for that. Even now, I am happy that although it has been a year, people still enjoy reading it. Writing this fic was so much fun, and I have a lot of fond memories from it. So this is kind of like a birthday present from me to you guys.

I made two versions as I first started on the gijnka version to get the positions right and then the puffball version. I like both of them. They have their own charm to them. Especially as I can show off my design for gijnka Water Kirby. Surf's up, my dude.

So, I started on this piece right before A Royal Visit was finished. But I got stuck in the background. I could have just posted Kirby and Fluff smooching with a grey background or a gradient, but that didn't feel right. I wanted to capture the grandiosity and vibrancy of the finale. So I stuck to my guns to draw a background. It was horrendous. The very thought of showing it to compare the two gives me hives. I was stuck for a whole year on what to do for it, which is why if you have seen my other art gijnka Kirby and Fluff looks a little different than how I usually finish my art.

There is something funny about taking a year to finish the Gijnka version but then to complete the version with everyone's canon appearance in a week. Sure, I burrowed some of the background aspects of the Gijnka one, but it ended up being more work getting the perspective right and painting extra houses. I'm sick of architecture for the moment. I love how the houses look but also, ugh.

The water shading was the most fun to paint. I almost went overboard with it and had to tone it down. I look forward to doing more pieces with water in them, as I am a sucker for water and the ocean. (And, of course, Water Kirby)

I wanted to add more characters, but I also know that the rest of the characters that appear in the last chapter come in later in the day and that the ones on the scene, like Taranza, Magolor, Susie and Marx, would realistically not join the crowd and cheer for Kirby and Fluff. They are sitting behind the crowd, watching the spectacle.

I put the most effort into gijnka King Dedede's design, but unfortunately, the crowd covers up most of it. What a shame. Oh well, I hope everyone reading this has a wonderful day further.

Kal, the Birdon I use as my profile pic, is my Kirbysona, but Jules is my main Kirby OC in general! Jules is based on a Kirby's Epic Yarn enemy called a Uniclod, and he has a small army of pet Scarfies.

reading dark meta knight's wiki page and making myself crazy. Why do people consider this guy evil and vile. like yeah he had the whole dark mind thing, and attacked dedede, and it's kind of implied that he's only helping kirby out of his own gains. but what makes him so, as the wiki says, "sinister". what makes him forever evil and untrustworthy as where the other allies like magolor, taranza and susie are Definitely fully redeemed. why does is that one line in ksa referring to mk's heroism (sensing the galaxy's distant darkness) Also in dmk's description (drawn out by the galaxy's distant darkness). does that not imply in at least some way that he's like meta knight. in the evil fighting way. they're both literally fighting evil as kirby's friends. And if the guy is so absurdly evil why does he sit down to draw with kids!!! why is he kirby's friend!!!! why is he so unthreatning unless he's standing perfectly still so he still looks cool. he fans himself with his little wings, birdon looks up at him. he runs away from susie when she stops chasing mk and looks at him. his goal game failing pose is just disappointed, as where mk's just got his hand on his head like damn fuck all kirby you fucked it again. if he were incapable of good he wouldn't do these things!!! Fuck my entire life why is this guy's whole fanon thing saying slurs and kicking puppies. im going to lose my mind

Meet Peony's foster family consisting of Birdons, the parents are Winona and Beakson and their children are the triplets around Peony's age Chirps, Pecker, and Feathery. They live in the Birdon Village that is in the high mountains on Cushy Cloud *From Kirby: Squeak Squad*.

it's highly curious that people take the "susie chases off both meta knight and dark meta knight" intro gag in star allies so seriously

while ignoring literally all the rest

like guys there's literally one gag where taranza kidnaps dedede again. and another one where daroach steals magolor's ship. and another one where chef kawasaki tries to cook coo and/or birdon (this cutscene has variations)

there's even a gag where kirby, meta knight and susie pose together that contradicts the "meta is still traumatized by susie" notion that the other gag seems to make people believe

why do you only care about one gag specifically and ignore the rest

i don't think these gags are meant to be taken seriously. they're not canonically confirmed to happen. it's all jokes. you can use them for headcanon fuel but don't treat them like they're actually canon

i just think it's blatantly biased to only take one into account

people LEGITIMATELY act like the susie/mk/dmk one is canon for some reason when it's not. why.

i don't care if you headcanon that stuff but don't treat it like its real.
