1. How long have y’all been radical feminists?

exactly a year!

2. What ‘radicalized’ you?

nothing really "radicalized" me; i NEVER bought into the trans narrative. even when i was a kid i was like "there is no fucking way people think you can change your sex". i never stomached the pronouns bs either (if i see a corny vid on my tiktok fyp 99% of the time they have pronouns in their bio so i just block them. can't deal w ts), and i've always hated plastic surgery and the idea of mutilating yourself to be prettier + some other rf ideas.

peaked because the trans shit is fucking everywhere and it was driving me insane how stupid people could be and the lengths they'll go to to virtue signal. i'm whasian and pass so much as mexican some people even come up to me and speak spanish - if i changed my name and learned spanish, would that make me mexican? hell no.

i knew what terfs were but assumed they were right wing weirdos, but atp i was just so done and needed some sanity so i searched up "radical feminism" on pinterest. i expected just right-wing raging anti-trans stuff and was ready to just block out all the conservative bs but i was like hold on... HOLD ON... anti-sex work anti-makeup anti-plastic surgery where has this been all my life? like never before had something truly put all i'd felt into words and made so much sense

3. Do you consider yourself a terf?

used to be wishy-washy on this, but i've settled on that "TERF" was a word made by TRAs & meant to be derogatory. being a radfem entails being "trans-exclusionary" as TRA's define it, or else you're just an extreme liberal feminist. so i just call myself a radfem

4. Have you ever (or currently) identified as transgender?

absolutely not. biology was always my best science class

5. What is your sexuality? If attracted to males, do you consider yourself a separatist or are you still open to being with males (or do you have a boyfriend/husband currently)?

bi but i don't see myself ever with a man bc they never fail to disappoint. e.g. there's a kid i know who is incredibly sweet and kind, to the point where it used to make me lowkey emotional bc i was like "jesus do men like him rly exist?" but then he did a project lowkey demonizing amber heard. so

6. What is your opinion on makeup? Do you still wear it?

100000% hate it so much and seeing girls wear it hurts me physically. the fact that we're conditioned from birth to wear it so we can be beautiful bc that's our purpose in life...hrngh. in 2020 i wore eyeliner a few times because everyone else was but then my stepdad laughed at me so never again. in hindsight that was a good thing LOL & i sometimes wore mascara in 2019 but it stained my glasses when i used to wear them so dropped that too. i'd never rly felt the need to wear makeup even before peaking, and haven't worn it since 2020 (one & only exception is when i did a photoshoot in china in traditional chinese clothes)

7. What is your opinion on ‘sex work’? Have you ever done ‘sex work’?

used to disagree w/ it when i was a kid, then choice feminists on tiktok made me hesitate and think "well... i guess it's progressive to support sex work so..." it always made me uneasy seeing choice feminists praise it but i just ignored that until i peaked and immediately despised it. i hated hasan before he said rich women deserve to be raped because he went to a red light district in the netherlands. just no way to ever excuse prostitution. i saw a vid where this guy interviewed 3 sex workers in LA and one said she'd been doing it since she was 12 & all 3 said they make themselves look young intentionally bc it gets them more buyers. they had dreams of moving on and opening bakeries and stuff and it broke my heart

i watched hentai & read it... I WAS ELEVEN and should not have been consuming it at all. hentai is way worse holy fuck i wish i'd watched porn instead but i thought it was too fleshy and weird. hentai... all i have to say is japanese men are horribly fucked up and i think reading so much of the most deplorable shit ever has damaged my psyche irreversibly. also why i think gen alpha will be fucked up because they have unrestricted internet access from birth

never agreed with it & i'm ex-christian! then my lame ass corny fucking liberal world history teacher in 6th grade gave a whole speech and was like "well during a normal convo some men just stare at ur boobs and not ur face so by wearing the hijab u protect against it!" so i was like "ig... it's progressive..." nah fuck that shit and it pisses me off when i see it in western countries bc a woman will be in a full burqa next to her husband in a t-shirt and shorts. seeing more women in malaysia wear the hijab hurts me & all these hijabi influencers who blur their faces and every part of their body like holy shit how can you think this is right?

10. Do you still do some of the things you criticize? (Shaving, makeup, etc)

yes 🥲 i shave my legs when i wear shorts & i never wear tank-tops or anything that could show my pits. i did stop waxing the hair above my lips and my knuckle hair tho & i'm never shaving my armpits again because there is no discomfort worse than stubby, regrowing hair poking you. i never was aware of my hair or that it was bad to have until i raised my hand in 5th grade and the guy next to me said "ew you have armpit hair"; the next day i shaved it off. then in 10th grade a guy said he saw my moustache so i bought wax to wax it off. never again. trying to build up more confidence to just quit completely

the average radfem idea that gender isn't real & needs to be abolished but sex is real. side tangent, went on r/lgbt and some person was like "how do i define 'woman' to transphobes" and the comments were like "there is no definition :)" and "ask them to define a chair and if they can't exclude something u win" really amazing work from them as always. truly intelligent

i'd say so? don't know much about capitalism as in what it entails

my best friends both know! one is wishy-washy bc her cousin's dating a TIM and she is weirdly angry about body hair and adores makeup, & the other is wishy-washy in that i don't think she can feel strongly about anything LOL she also started wearing makeup recently but she agrees with 95% of radfem ideology
