Love is back!

- A movie, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu Eternal Love, will be coming out in the winter of 2025. See the video here.

- The website has updated with new visuals. There are also comments from the Boueibu quintet and Mugihito (Wombat's VA).

- There's a new Boueibu YouTube channel.

- There is a browser game called Love Macho. It's a tower defence game involving both the Battle Lovers and Happy Knights. Some of the pre-registration gifts are Amazon gifts, as well as an SR Yumoto, 15 character lottery tickets and 1000 gems in the game. You can see the teaser video here. To pre-register, follow the official X (formerly Twitter), sign up at G123 and sign up at Line (all links provided in tweet).

- If you sign up for Line, you can get a wallpaper for Love Macho.

Update: There is also an English X account and registration page for Love Macho, but the steps to pre-register are the same for both languages.

Idk if anyone's ever talked abt these, but in the boueibu production images there's still some remnants of beta designs for the battle lovers!

From top to bottom; -Storyboard panels which clearly show that Yumoto was supposed to have dark hair at first. -Atsushi had shorter hair and sharper eyes (mainly his pupils). -Io had a softer bowl cut instead of the "I cut my own bangs in the bathroom mirror" thing he has now. His eyes were more open/bigger and upon closer inspection... it also looks like he had an earring? -Wom-san looking sopping wet and pathetic, like that kitten who fell face first into the milk. -And Ryuu... oh boy Ryuu. He's the whole reason i noticed the beta designs were still in here. Instead of a headband, he had hairpins, and no earrings. His haircut is still wild, but it sits completely differently. He is also small. Like. REALLY small. Smaller than Yumoto. I've placed their beta silhouettes over the final ones in the last image so you can see; everyone has pretty much the same height as their final designs except for Ryuu. -Strangely enough, I couldn't find any substantial proof for a potential En beta design. He looks slightly different in the storyboards, but so does everyone else (the boards are. REALLY rough.). His hair also looks ever so slightly different in the silhouette, but again, it's not substantial enough to say that he really did look different.

Trying to convince you to watch Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu LOVE! (colloquially known as Boueibu) :

It starts with food metaphors in the bath.

An alien is weekend-at-bernies'ing a 77-year-old teacher. badly.

In one episode the villains mention their plan is to turn all men on Earth gay so humankind will go extinct. This is never brought up again.

The villains' boss is the cutest little green porcupine who would be voiced by Christopher Sabat in an English dub.

They accidentally go to a gay beach because Atsushi is 18 and never learned how to fucking read apparently.

A 17-year-old has a real estate broker license.

One guy's whole schtick is being a womanizer in a series with an all-male cast that refuses to show women even in crowd scenes.

^ he gets called out on this.

^^ and on having feelings for the aforementioned stock broker.

^^^ they are butt naked in this scene.

Twins with opposing BDSM kinks kinkshame each other for two seconds then go back to fondling the glass casket their shared crush they kidnapped is sleeping in.

I don't need to mention the monsters of the week are bizarre. Delinquent oden bowls are normal here moving on.

Hey what the hell the pick-me-up speeches the monsters are given after battle are like, honestly really uplifting.

Their school has a student who refuses to graduate until the volleyball team makes it to nationals. Like, refuses. It's worse than you think.

EDIT: I misremembered this and was corrected: not even nationals, a tournament. Just. Any tournament.

Either there's a weird continuity error between seasons 1 and 2 or the school has two separate volleyball teams. I choose to believe the second option, it's funnier and also entirely plausible in this clusterfuck that calls itself a school.

The adorable blond fluffhead casually comes out when they're making plans for the school's monthly pretty boy contest no I will not elaborate on that part stay focused.

Me being weird but aki really looks like haru in the first image (second pic added for comparison) Like you can see Aki in the first pic has the thicker and more downwards brows and red eyes that haru has (and u can see those features of haru in the second pic) idk I just noticed this really easily because I used to spend a long time studying their differences years ago
