Timothée Chalamet delivers the iconic Biff’s monologue from Death of a Salesman (Arthur Miller, 1949) in character as Billy Mitman performing one of the most difficult monologues in American theater while simultaneously portraying this troubled young man, an outstanding performance within another outstanding performance. The complexity of this feat is not lost on me.
It’s still one of his finest performances ever, imho. Would love to see him play that role on Broadway if there’s ever a revival.
