some random back to the 80s headcanons

- lionel and huey really enjoy playing chess they just don’t actually know how to play

- billy is a complete mama’s boy and asks her permission to do everything

- kirk is obsessed with rubix cubes and can solve one in under a minute

- mel and kim spend every minute of every lesson braiding each other’s hair

- cyndi plays lacrosse

- lionel collects those little figures you paint yourself

- michael started smoking when he was 10

- tiffany used to do ballet but quit because she didn’t like having to slick her hair back

- debbie and laura both really hate horror but watch loads of horror movies because they find the actors hot

- feargal is really good at drawing and makes sci-fi comics that end up being really popular

- cyndi is actually really good at math and science but tries to do badly so no one knows she’s actually smart

- huey and tiffany are actually very good friends because they’re in the same dance class (tiff switched from ballet to jazz)

- alf is half german
