I've been blowing up my sister's phone about The Crow and the reboot. Vanity fair just released an article showcasing Bill in his role as Eric Draven and he looks like a SoundCloud rapper. And while that's not inherently a bad thing. That's not really the vibe of Eric Draven. Goth is subversive and an entire culture. And there's an established essence to it. SoundCloud rapper kind of reads like Jared Leto's joker. Idk I like rap music like Childish Gambino and the stuff my sister listens to because she has taste, but I'm just simultaneously worried and disappointed about this movie. I'm going to see it because I need more crow things in my life, but I am also deeply deeply concerned about the fact that it will be turned into something I hate.
