Motorbike Rental Safety: What You Need to Know Before You Ride
Renting a motorbike can be an exhilarating experience, offering freedom to explore places at your own pace. However, before you hop on and hit the road, safety should always be your top priority. Whether you're an experienced rider or renting a motorbike for the first time, understanding the key safety tips is crucial for a smooth and enjoyable ride.
In this blog post, we'll walk you through the essential motorbike rental safety tips and provide answers to some frequently asked questions. At BikeSolve, your safety is our primary concern. That's why we encourage all riders to follow these guidelines for a secure and worry-free riding experience.
1. Choose the Right Motorbike for You The first step in ensuring safety when renting a motorbike is to choose a bike that suits your skill level, size, and comfort. If you're a beginner, opt for a smaller engine size, as it is easier to handle and control. If you have more experience, you might feel comfortable with a larger bike.
At BikeSolve, we offer a range of motorbikes, from beginner-friendly models to more powerful bikes for experienced riders. Make sure to test the bike's seat height, controls, and weight before making your choice.
Key Points to Consider:
Engine Size: Opt for a smaller engine if you're new to riding. Bike Weight: Ensure the bike isn't too heavy to maneuver comfortably. Seat Height: You should be able to place your feet flat on the ground while seated.
2. Inspect the Motorbike Thoroughly Before heading out, it's important to inspect the motorbike for any potential issues. This ensures that the vehicle is roadworthy and prevents breakdowns or accidents. Here are some key areas to check:
Tires: Make sure the tires are inflated properly and the tread is in good condition. Brakes: Test both the front and rear brakes to ensure they are responsive. Lights and Indicators: Check the headlights, taillights, and indicators to ensure they are working. Mirrors: Adjust the mirrors to your eye level for a clear rear view. Fluid Levels: Ensure that oil, coolant, and brake fluid levels are appropriate.
At BikeSolve, we inspect all motorbikes before renting them out, but it’s always a good idea to do a quick check yourself to double-check the bike’s condition.
3. Wear the Right Gear Wearing protective gear is non-negotiable when it comes to motorbike safety. Accidents can happen, even to the most cautious rider, so it's essential to be well-prepared. At BikeSolve, we provide helmets with every rental, but you should also consider wearing the following gear:
Helmet: Always wear a high-quality helmet that fits well. Helmets are the most critical piece of safety gear. Jacket and Gloves: A padded jacket and gloves can protect you from abrasions in case of a fall. Boots: Wear sturdy boots that cover your ankles for added protection. Pants: Jeans or specialized riding pants are a good option to protect your legs.
4. Familiarize Yourself with Local Traffic Laws Every region has its own set of traffic laws, and it’s essential to familiarize yourself with them before hitting the road. Ignorance of the law can lead to fines or, worse, accidents. Make sure you know the speed limits, helmet laws, and whether lane-splitting is allowed.
At BikeSolve, we provide our customers with a quick briefing on the local traffic laws of the area. Always ensure you're riding legally and safely within the regulations.
5. Plan Your Route and Stay Alert Before embarking on your journey, it's a good idea to plan your route in advance. Knowing where you're going will help you stay focused on the road, rather than being distracted by maps or GPS. Choose roads that you feel comfortable riding on, and avoid areas with heavy traffic if possible.
While riding, remain alert at all times. Keep an eye out for pedestrians, other vehicles, and potential hazards like potholes or debris. At BikeSolve, we recommend avoiding night rides unless you're familiar with the roads.
6. Ride Defensively When renting a motorbike, you must ride with caution and assume that other drivers may not see you. Motorcycles are smaller than cars and can easily get lost in a driver’s blind spot. Always keep a safe distance from other vehicles and avoid riding in blind spots.
Additionally, be mindful of sudden stops, lane changes, and other unpredictable moves from drivers around you. At BikeSolve, we encourage all riders to practice defensive driving to reduce the risk of accidents.
FAQs 1. Do I need a special license to rent a motorbike from BikeSolve? A: Yes, at BikeSolve, we require all riders to have a valid motorcycle license. This ensures that you have the necessary skills and experience to handle the bike safely.
2. What safety equipment is provided with the rental? A: We provide a high-quality helmet with every rental. However, we recommend that you bring your own protective gear, such as gloves, jackets, and boots, for additional safety.
3. What should I do in case of an emergency or accident? A: If you are involved in an accident, prioritize your safety and call for emergency services if necessary. Notify BikeSolve as soon as possible so we can assist you with the next steps.
4. What are the age requirements for renting a motorbike from BikeSolve? A: You must be at least 18 years old to rent a motorbike from BikeSolve, and possess a valid motorcycle license.
5. Can I rent a motorbike if I’m a beginner? A: Yes! At BikeSolve, we offer beginner-friendly motorbikes and can provide you with tips and guidance for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Conclusion Motorbike rental can be an exciting way to explore new places, but it’s important to prioritize safety before you ride. By following the tips outlined above—choosing the right bike, inspecting it thoroughly, wearing the appropriate gear, knowing local laws, and riding defensively—you can ensure a safer and more enjoyable trip.
At BikeSolve, your safety is our top priority. We’re here to provide you with the best rental experience, backed by well-maintained bikes, safety equipment, and expert guidance. So, whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, you can enjoy the ride with peace of mind.

HOW THEY MET | r. cameron
this is a prequel to my one shot ' miss you ' 💙 - idea to do this is from @sublimepenguinpeach-blog
summary: when you‘re over at your best friends house and her car suddenly breaks down – her brother Rafe has to drive you home
warnings: fluff, I‘m too tired rn to correct any typos, will do later so don‘t be too hard it‘s 5am where i live
words: 2,1k
song i recommend listening to: left hand free by alt-J
It all started when you were over at Sarahs. You two drove through outer banks with her car, her telling you that she would drive you home later, but that never happened.
Sitting in her car with her trying to start it, it was clear her car was broken. "Daaad!" she starts shouting outside the car window, getting Ward out of the house. "What‘s wrong?" he asked, walking towards the car. She explained the problem to him and let it try for himself but it didn‘t work still.
"I‘m sorry honey but looks like we have to take your car to the workshop to get it repaired.“ Sarah sighs and looks at her dad. "But Dad I wanted to drive y/n home, we went with my car today." He thinks for a moment. "Rafe shall drive her home okay? He‘s home anyways. Rafe!!" he starts shouting for him. "What? No Dad! I don‘t wanna let her be alone with him! You know how he is!" Ward rolls his eyes and answers his daughter "he is your brother, Sarah." "Yeah, exactly!"
You didn‘t wanna cause any problems so you smiled at them both. "It‘s no problem, really I don‘t mind. But I can also call JJ to get me with his bike." you suggested but Ward shook his head. "No no no sweetheart, it‘s supposed to be raining and I want you to get home safe from here." he says with a warm smile before turning back to the house, shouting his sons name again. "What is this boy doing?" be mumbles to himself. Now Sarah yells too. "RAFE!"
Finally Rafe comes out of the front door with a confused look on his face, yelling back. "what what what?"
" Would you please be nice and drive y/n home? Sarah‘s car broke down and I have a meeting in half an hour." Rafe looks at you, his expression unreadable.
"Yeah.." he just said, nodding while still looking at you. He broke his gaze from you when his dad pat his shoulder and walked back into the house. "Drive like a normal human being." Sarah tells her brother kn a annoyed voice. She walks over to you and gives you a hug. "Tell me when you‘re home, alright?" she mumbles agaknst your hair before letting go of you. You hear Rafe starting his car so you smile at her and nod. "Of course, see ya." You say with a smile before jogging over to him, opening the door and sitting in the passanger seat.
After a few minutes of driving and listening to some music you started a conversation with him, I mean the least you could do was to thank him, right?
"Hey Rafe.." "Hm?" he look over to you for a moment while driving. Your little smile made his knees weak and he never felt this kind of way so he didn‘t knew what to think of it. He always thought you were beautiful, the prettiest girl in outer banks. He loved the way your hair color complimented your skin and eyes, your lips looking soft and shiny with your favorite gloss over it. He just never thought about asking you out since you‘re a pogue and a friend of Sarah. Things would get complicated and to be honest, he didn‘t want to risk that you thought like him and then standing there like a dumb one.
"Thank you for taking me home, I mean I can imagine that you got more important stuff to do.. i told your Dad I could call JJ but he told me it would rain so his bike wouldn‘t be a safe option." you started yapping a little, feeling a bit nervous that you were alone with him. You always thought he‘s handsome.. hot. But he‘s your best friends brother so it‘s kind of a no go.
"No Problem, really. Wasn‘t doin‘ much anyway. And he‘s right 's better with the car – safer." "Yeah still.. thank you." Silent fills the car again for a few minutes until he starts a conversation this time.
"You like driving on bikes?" he asks you. "Yeah, why?" "See ya driving aroung with JJ all the time." he says shrugging his shoulders. " Ya know I have a bike too, right?" You had to smile a little at his almost cocky question. "I do, Rafe." You answer him with raised eyebrows.
"You could ride with me too. Mine‘s faster than JJ‘s" "Don‘t know how Sarah would find that but I‘ll thinl about it." you promised him, seeing his wide grin made you giggle a little.
"Can I put on a song?" "Yeah, here." he unlocks his Iphone (i‘m an apple girl and will NEVER write slmething differnet kn my storys #notsorry) and hands it to you. You search for your favorite song an put it on, looking over to Rafe to see his reaction but again his face was unreadable. You look outside the window, the night air blowing through your hair and putting goosebumps on your skin. Rafe saw it on your arms when he glanced over to you.
"You want me to roll down the window?“ "No I like it." But it didn‘t last long because not even a minute later, rain starts falling from the sky. He chuckles at your scolding face and closes the windows, pushing a little button at the side of his wheel. Suddenly your seat started to get warm, getting rid of the goosebumps.
When he pulls up at your house, JJ and John B stand outside the house, working on his bike while it rains. When they hear a car they look up, eyes going wide when they saw it was Rafe‘s with John B‘s little sister in it. "What the fuck?" he mumbles to JJ who was just as confused as him.
"Thanks again, Rafe. I owe you one." You say smiling at him, already opening the door of his car. "Wait." he quickly leans over and closes the door again which led to you smelling his cologne, the heat rising up your face. "Here take this.." he unbluckles his seatbelt and pulls his hoodie over his head to hand it to you. "It‘s still raining, don‘t want you to get cold." he says when he sees your flustered cheeks, feeling a little proud that he‘s the cause for that.
"I - thank you, again. Wow I really owe you big huh?" you chuckle at him, pulling the hoodie over your head, almost fluttering your eyes when you smelled his cologne on the collar again. "Just think about my offer." he says, scanning you in his hoodie.
"I will. See ya Rafe." You say, this time leaving his car after opening the car door. You don't see him winking at JJ with a smug grin on his face while walking towards him and your brother.
"Why the hell did Rafe Cameron just brought you home?" your brother asked almost furious at the thought of you and Rafe being even near each other. "Don't worry, Sarah's car broke down and he drove me home." you explained, pulling the hood over your head. "And what is that?" JJ joins the conversation, pointing at Rafe's Hoodie. You rolled your eyes at him and pointed at the sky. "It's raining JJ." and with that you left them standing, watching after you walking through your front door.
A few days went by after Rafe drive you home and no matter how often you saw Sarah and had the opportunity to give her her brother's hoodie, you didn't. You wanted to give it to him by yourself. Also the thought of his offer wouldn't leave your mind. You already loved driving JJ's bike, so thinking doing it with Rafe gave you butterfly's.
Then the best thing ever happened to you. Sarah told you she's dating your brother. Of course you were shocked, but not too much since you knew both of them and also weren't stupid enough to not see the tension between them. Besides the fact that you were happy for them tho, you thought of taking Rafe's offer, now that It wouldn't be much different from Sarah being with John B, right?
So you waited a few day's after Sarah told you and drove to her house, knowing she's out with John B and her parents on the Bahamas with Wheezie. You drove up to the garage, walking around the house and ringing at the front door.
It didn't took him long to open the door, smile on his face when he saw it's you. "Hey, Sarah's out somewhere." he says calmly. "I know, I'm here for the ride you offered me." you say with a smug smile on your face. "Oh? Okay, just uh - just let me get the helmets from my room." he says more nervous now, letting you in and disappearing p into his room.
When he came back down he handed you a black helmet, leading you through a door to the garage where his bike stood. "It's pretty.." you say, scanning it. "Pretty?" he chuckles, kicking up the stand and pushing it out of the garage, closing the door of it behind him with a key and a code.
"Yeah pretty." You repeat yourself, giggling quietly. "Why?" "Don't know.. never hear anyone saying pretty to it." he shrugs, sitting down on it and starting it. "Come on, pretty." Your cheeks instantly heat up at the nickname, so you decide to pull the helmet over your head to cover it. You sit down behind him while he puts his helmet on. He turns his head towards you and grins through it. " Ready?" he asks. You nod and wrap your hands around his body for support. He turns back and starts driving off the property. I yelp into my helmet, feeling it's indeed faster than JJ's and has way more power.
I feel his muscles flexing under his shirt which only made my cheeks turn darker again.
You drove around outer banks like that for a while, enjoying the ride and the feeling of somewhat like a little freedom. After about an hour he stopped at a little shop. You both got inside to get something to drink when he asked you "Does Sarah know that you're with me?" "No, didn't tell her." "Why not?" "Well she didn't tell me she's with John B for a while too, so.." His grin widens at your words.
He nods understanding and walk back to his bike with you. "Wanna do it again some time soon?" he asks, taking a sip of his water bottle. You took one from your own when you wondered "What? Driving around?" "Going out with me." You almost chocked on your water when he said that.
"What? Am I that bad?" he jokes, waiting for a answer. " No - no you're not, It's just uh - I didn't expect you to ask me out.." "Well, what do you say?" You remain silent for a few seconds, really thinking about it. On one side it was Rafe, but on the other side Sarah and John B are dating too, he's nice to you and doesn't treat you like trash just because you're a rogue. So why not? "Yeah, I would like that." you answer with a smile.
That's how it began. On the first date you two went to the beach on a more remote spot where nobody would see you two, so you could enjoy your first date. He packed fruits, drinks and a blanked for you two and told you to only bring your pretty face with you.
The date was beautiful. You had a book with you, which ended in you reading to him, his head on your lap and listening to your voice like a lullaby. You two fed each other with fruits, gigging when he didn't score, trying to throw grapes into your mouth.
You stayed there til late, telling the Pogues you had to work late. Only problem was, Sarah wanted to visit you and saw you weren't at work so she confronted you via message, asking you where you really are. You sighed and showed Rafe the messages. "Wanna tell her? Mean she own you for dating your brother, right?" he says.
After your date was over, you told her you would meet her at her house, her already knowing what was going on when she saw you and Rafe getting off his bike together.
After you explained to her and reminded her that the basically does the same, she agreed to keep it a secret and especially not telling John B.
That's how it started that you two went on dates, Sarah always covering you, telling the rest you're at hers or at the country club working. I mean how would they know? They would never go there.
It was the beginning of something sweet and beautiful, even Sarah saw that her brother started to change the longer you two dated each other.Maybe he does have a heart.
thanks for reading 🫶🏻 hope u enjoyed, let me know in the comments! 🤍

Fewer wheels, more balls
Stephen cursed everything. His parents, because they hadn't paid for him to study medicine and he had only become a nurse. St. Peter because he sent a shower of rain at the exact moment he rolled out onto the road on his new motorcycle. The mechanic, because he had offered him the motorcycle as a replacement for his car, which had finally died of old age. And himself, because he hadn't had the backbone to insist on having the car repaired and had this bike sold to him instead. Yes, he had taken his driver's license back then. But he hadn't ridden a motorcycle since driving school. And this beast, a twenty-year-old Triumph Rocket III, was far too big for his frail body. And with the silly rain overalls that the mechanic had given him, he looked more than silly.
Especially in this weather, Stephen hadn't expected to get home on his bike without breaking down. But even he was surprised that it should be so far after just four miles. With the last of his strength, the bike rolled under the highway bridge. At least it was dry there. And now? Stephen had no idea about engines. He was an ambulance driver. He knew all about cars. At least a little. But with motorcycles?
If you're at a loss, ask ChatGPT. Stephen pulled out his cell phone and described the problem. He was advised to remove the spark plugs and dry them out. Shit, yes, he'd heard about that. It was a common problem with that model year. He had an oily rag in his upperall. He dried and cleaned the spark plugs. And the machine started. Perfectly! Nevertheless, Stephen sent up a prayer to heaven. And it was answered. The rain subsided and he made it home without any further problems.
Stephen dried his bike and hung his wet leather suit on a hanger. His garage, which was also his own little improvised workshop, was kept tidy. That was important to him. Otherwise, he wasn't the tidy type… As he stood in front of the toilet in his wet underwear and pissed, it occurred to him that he could clean again. Shit, this was a man's household. And he worked in the Red Cross workshop on engines and car bodies. He didn't need a sterile environment. He still had some pizza left in the fridge. He didn't have to leave for work for another hour. That was enough for food, drink and a wank. Then he put on a dry leather suit, sat on his 140 hp baby and set off for work with the engine roaring.
Stephen liked the late shift. He could wait for the vehicles in peace and didn't have to constantly watch out for vehicles coming in and out. The bad weather also meant that there were fewer people on the road. There were fewer motorcycle accidents in particular. Stephen didn't care about the weather. He had once had a car. But he needed the wind around his nose. He drove in all weathers. Nevertheless, he preferred it when no bikers had to be taken to hospital after an accident. Here in the neighborhood you can. Most of them were at least distant acquaintances. I mean, Stephen was an authority in the biker scene. When it came to engines, nobody could fool him. And whether it was his Triumph, his BMW or his Ducati, he had every bike under control.
It was almost 05:00 in the morning. The replacement would be coming soon. Stephen was standing in the coffee kitchen with a couple of paramedics, smoking a cigarette. His parents had always wanted him to become a doctor. He was sure that he could do a much greater service to the health service with his job. And tomorrow it would continue, tomorrow he would give it his all again. But not today, today he was happy when his baby was in the garage and he was in bed.
It was 08:00 when Steve was woken by a honking horn. Shit, he had slept in his clothes again. It had been a long evening with the boys. And yes, he'd probably had one too many beers to drive home. But his machine knew the way. Another honk. Bloody hell, couldn't anyone wait these days? "I'm coming" boomed Steve's bass over the service station. Some fucking city slicker who was too stupid to fill up the tank himself. Steve had a hard time hiding his morning wood when he went to the gas pump to fill up the show-off Porsche. Steve positioned himself so that the driver had no other chance than to stare at the bulge in his pants. "That'll be 80 bucks, buddy," Steve grunted. "Anything else I can do for you?"
Steve had once seen a drawing of a gas station where the attendants not only refueled and repaired cars, but also served hot customers in other ways. It was some guy from Denmark, Sweden or something… Tim? Tom? It didn't matter. Steve turned around, his hand on his bulge. Three, two, one... He would have bet the 80 dollars that the Porsche driver would come up behind him. The first coffee of the day would have to wait. He had an ass to fill for now.

a yandere!John Wick x fem!reader sunshine/grump coffee shop AU... Part 44 all chapters
WARNINGS FOR THIS FIC: NSFW, SEXUAL CONTENT, VIOLENCE, YANDERE SH!T. Plz take care. I luv u all. 😘
44. the god of death
As you savor the last days of early fall before bitter cold sets in, John seems way more interested in teaching you how to ride, than planning a wedding. You are perfectly fine with that. You studied up and took the permit test online the very next day. Most of it was common sense–or at least, you’d like to think so. A trip to the DMV in Clear Forks rendered you legal for the road.
You go for rides together almost every afternoon, through the winding mountain roads, and down in town in higher traffic as well. You’ll be good and ready for your test come spring. You feel as though he has gifted you a set of wings, when you are flying down the highway together, the mountains looming majestically in the distance. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not hard to work the bike, it just takes focus–or you might die.
Oddly–the risk seems totally worth it. Not just for your own enjoyment, but his too. You can tell that being on the bike soothes something in this man’s battered soul, and you’re rather honored that he’d share this hobby with you.
When the days get short and winter sets in, it’s too cold for the bikes, even with battery heated jackets, you fall into a new routine. John is usually the first one out of bed. Sometimes he wakes you with kisses and his beautiful cock before wandering down to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast for the two of you, usually eggs and sliced fruit with coffee. John disappears into his workshop repairing a set of first edition Beatrix Potter books, and you go to your studio, though true inspiration continues to escape you. You feel as though something is hovering just beyond your grasp; inspiration waits behind a curtain, if you could just find the right trigger to sweep it aside.
After lunch you often sit together and read in the den with the fireplace burning. When the first snow falls it feels like magic, in that house with him. You make love on the couch and then watch the fat flakes fall through the window from under a soft blanket, John’s arms wrapped around you. Later you make dinner together, feeding each other tidbits while chopping up vegetables, bumping into each other on purpose just to steal a kiss. You close the evening with a glass of wine and sometimes a movie or a show, and sometimes you read some more.
Sometimes, John looks at you with that smoldering warmth in his dark eyes, and you go to bed early.
Life is so damn near perfect that it almost scares you. It really seems like the Camorra have convinced the idiotic young Dante to leave you alone, and a part of you deep down wonders if you could truly be so lucky? You know that John has not forgotten about him completely. He does not let you go to town by yourself, not even to the grocery store. This doesn’t particularly bother you–even something so mundane as pottering up and down the isles with your trolley is fun with this man at your side. You crack jokes in the wine aisle, and exchange kisses in the produce, and you’re sure everyone around you is rolling their eyes at your expense–you’re so in love you simply do not care.
One morning John cuts up a pomegranate for breakfast, the juicy little seeds glowing brilliant magenta in the sunlight, and as he holds out one for you to try from his fingertips inspiration hits you like a shovel to the head. You accept the morsel between your lips, laving his digit clean with your tongue as you gaze up at this man in black towering over you: your lover, your protector, your captor turned your intended. Sensing the change in you, John tilts his head slightly, raven hair swinging into his midnight-dark eyes. You reach up to brush it behind his ear carefully, almost as though you are seeing him anew.
“You like it?” he asks, and there is something fragile in his tone. Neither of you are sure he’s talking about the pomegranate.
“I love it,” you assure him, putting him at ease. You tangle your legs with his under the breakfast table, further affirming your affection. But for the first time in a while, you cannot wait to get up to your studio.
You start with sketches, working manically to make a sort of storyboard, plotting out a whole series. You incorporate the symbols of the pomegranate and the narcissus, telling the tale of a girl who is snatched up from beside a Venetian canal by a God of Death–and how she falls in love with him.
Though you work with your door closed, needing the privacy to create, you know John looks over what you’re making later. Sometimes he’ll place a pen or a sketchbook not quite where you left them, as though signaling that he’s been there. His most blatant admission comes in the form of a sticky note pasted like a caption below one of your gouache illustrations on thick paper, of a glowing girl clutching a bright white narcissus flower, gazing up at a man in shadow sitting upon a throne of skulls, “And the God of Death fell hopelessly in love.”
Later, while you’re snuggled together on the couch with dog at your feet, he tells you, “If you make them on longer pieces of paper, I can bind them for you.” This quiet offer of collaboration on an art project fills your heart with a sneaking warmth that starts in your chest, and spreads all the way to your toes.
“I would like that,” you admit, kissing his cheek sweetly.
His next question comes quieter still; you see the worry written in those soulful dark eyes: “Are you still angry?”
You realize that the answer to that is complex. The truth is: you were, deep down, despite how good things have been. But putting all of it down on paper with ink and pigment has exorcized something toxic from you. Something that might have acted as a slow-leaching poison in your relationship, had you not administered these therapeutic paintings as your antidote. Something about reclaiming your story in the images drawn from your hand, and telling it the exact way you please, (with some stylistic embellishments borrowed from Hades and Persephone) acts as a healing balm.
“Not anymore,” you tell him, and you mean what you say.
John’s relief is a palpable thing; you feel the tension release from his body pressed against yours. It still has not ceased to amaze you, the power you seem to hold over this formidable man. But it goes both ways, and somehow, through blood, sweat, tears, and all the love in your hearts, you have managed to strike a balance together that makes both of you happy.
Maybe you are young, but you are smart enough to know that is a rare and precious thing indeed.

Fic contains: swearing, Aemond beings prick, I think that’s it?
A/N: I’ve been sitting on this fic for weeks and am finally ready to post it. I tried to use the right terminology, but I know fuck-all about biker culture so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hope you enjoy!
“No fucking way.”
Alysanne Blackwood turns and looks at you, mouth agape. “You actually got one.” You smile back at her, practically vibrating with excitement.
“I know. I didn’t fully believe it myself til I saw her in person.” The ‘her’ in question was a beat-up white motorcycle that was currently sitting in your workshop, but this wasn’t just any old bike. No. This was a dragon. The top of the line. Even non-bikers knew a thing or two about dragons. Made by Targaryen Corp., these beauties were prized for their powerful engines, speed, and endurance. The model you picked up was a Meraxes—one of the earlier models that has since been retired.
“I never thought you’d actually pluck up the nerve to buy a bike for yourself. Much less a dragon.”
“You know I’ve always wanted to learn to ride,” you tell her.
“Yeah, but you never acted on that. Well, ‘til now,” Aly quips.
“I already know more than enough about bikes,” you assert.
“Fixing a dragon and riding one are two completely different things.”
“Doesn’t mean I can’t do both.”
“We’ll see,” Aly laughs. You smile back, shoving her playfully.
That had been six months ago. You were so close to being ready, but you'd hit a roadblock in her repairs. No matter what, you just couldn't get the transmission to run the way you wanted it to.
"If you stare at that engine for much longer, it's gonna burst into flames," Alysanne muses. You look over your shoulder and shoot her a glare. She only giggles at you, hopping off the workbench she was sitting on.
"You know, there's nothing wrong with needing help every once in a while," she says.
“I know,” you sigh back. “It’s just…”
“Too stubborn to admit defeat?” she teases.
“No!” you answer back a little too quickly.
“Maybe,” you mutter, turning your gaze towards the floor. “It’s also the money.” Mechanics who worked on older bikes were hard to come by in your area, and the ones that were in the area charged an arm and a leg for their services.
"Listen, I know just the place for you to go. There’s this one place Cregan loves to frequent. He swears up and down they're the best in town. I’ve met the owners several times, and they’re trustworthy. One of them even specializes in older bikes like this gal right here," she pats one of Meraxes's handlebars. That piques your interest. You knew Aly’s boyfriend was a man of his work, so this place must be good if he says so.
“And will this specialist leave me up to my ears in debt?”
“They’re pretty far when it comes to prices for service. Plus, you can always come to me if you’re short a few bucks,” Aly replies, going to grab her phone. You grimace at the thought. You love Aly and appreciate her generosity, but you don’t like the idea of inconveniencing herself to help you (even if she comes from a rich family). Aly walked back over to you, phone in hand.
“Do you want your bike fixed, or are you gonna stay stuck at a dead end for who knows how long?”
You look at her phone, open to the Contacts app, then back at your bike. You let out a sigh.
“What’s the name?”
That's how you found yourself pulling up to Green Auto Shop in the passenger seat of Aly’s pickup truck, your precious Meraxes securely tied down in the back. It was a rather unassuming garage located not far from Blackwater Bay. Alysanne looks over at you from the driver’s seat. "Don't judge a book by its cover," she says, undoing her seatbelt and opening her door.
You scramble to follow her as she walks confidently into one of the garages. You see a pair of legs sticking out from beneath an old car. Music blares in the background mixed with the sound of metal on metal.
"Egg," Aly shouts over the ruckus. "You've got company." The man working under the car slides out, giving Aly a bright smile. You can't help but gape as Aegon fucking Targaryen walks over to greet the two of you. You've heard and seen a lot about the eldest son of Viserys Targaryen. He has quite the reputation for drinking and partying, but the Sunfyre—a model he masterminded—is one of the company's most popular. In all the photos you've seen of him, he always looked sullen and hungover, a far cry from the relaxed and cheerful man before you.
"Aye, it's Cregan's girl, "he greets, wiping his hands off on a dirty rag. His gaze shifts to you, giving a quick once-over. “And who is this?” He asks flirtatiously while sauntering over to you. “Hi, I’m Aegon,” he holds a mostly clean hand out.
“She’s my friend,” Alysanne replies, pushing her way between the two of you. “And she’s here to see your brother, not you. She’s having trouble with her bike and could really use his help.”
Aegon pouts and puts his hand over his heart. “You don’t trust me, Aly? I’m wounded.” He rubs his hands together, walking out to the pickup. “Now let’s see what my little bro’s got to work with.” Without waiting for permission, he hops into the truck bed and whistles at the bike.
“Never thought I’d see a Meraxes in person again. Aem’s gonna have a field day with this beauty.” Aly grabs his pant leg and gives it a tug. “Off,” she orders. He hops back onto the pavement, his hands raised in mock surrender.
“Where is your cryptid brother? It feels like he’s never here,” Aly asks.
“You just missed him. He went to grab lunch,” Aegon responds. “He’ll be gone a while, but we can talk pricing in the office?” He leads the two of you back into the garage, to a small office off to the side. As you feared, the service would be quite expensive, but Aegon set you up with a payment plan. That put you at ease a bit. You’re also worried about the fact that you haven’t met the person who will actually be working on your bike. You voice your concerns to Aly over burgers that evening.
“Aemond isn’t…the best with people, but what he lacks in people skills he makes up for in his work. Cregan claims he’s a miracle worker after he fixed his Direwolf following a gnarly crash,” Aly reaches across the table and gives your hand a squeeze. “Trust me, your baby’s in good hands.”
About a week later, you borrow Aly’s truck to swing by the garage and check on your bike. One of the doors was up, but Aegon was nowhere to be found. You wondered if he left the garage open by mistake, but you could hear noises coming from in the garage.
You tentatively walk to the entrance and peek inside. Your Meraxes was propped in the bay where you’d left it. Someone was kneeling in front of it, clearly at work. His back was turned, so all you could see was his back and the long, silver hair pulled into a bun at the nape of his neck.
So this must be the elusive Aemond. You knew significantly less about him than you did his other siblings. Him attending public events was rare, and taking photos at said events was rarer.
Cryptid indeed.
You take a tentative step into the garage. He doesn’t notice you approaching, completely engrossed by the bike.
“Um, hello,” you say shyly. He goes rigid, the wrench falling from his grasp. He turns to look at you, and your brain shuts down. You fully expected some kind of Quasimodo-looking guy based on how everyone described Aemond. But this man looked like a Greek statue come to life.
From his nose to his cheekbones to even his lips, he was all sharp angles. One of his eyes was covered by a simple black path. The other was a soft blue, almost periwinkle. The coveralls he’s wearing are unzipped down to his navel, showing the dirty white singlet underneath.
“Can I help you?” He asks briskly, rising to his feet and snapping you out of your daze.
You’re taken aback by his bluntness, a far cry from Aegon’s relaxed demeanor.
“Yeah…I’m here to pick up my bike,” you reply, indicating to the bike behind him.
He gives you a small ‘hmm’ and grabs a rag to wipe his hands. Your gaze is drawn to his long, elegant fingers and the prominent veins that trail down from his arms.
“Your transmission clip was loose,” he explains curtly. “Had to replace it.”
He walks over to the bike, swings a leg over, and starts her up. The engine revs without a problem.
“Crazy how something so small can cause such a large problem,” you say. He once again doesn’t respond, only kills the engine and moves away from the bike. An uncomfortable silence falls between the two of you.
“Sooo…how many of these older bikes do you usually—“
“I need to get back to work. You can talk to Aegon about payment and such. He’s in the back,” Aemond interjects, turning and walking away from you. Your mouth falls open, eyebrows raised.
“O-okay. I was just trying to make conversation,” you mutter.
“Well, I Don’t have time to ‘make conversation.’ I’ve got work to do,” he replies, back turned.
“Apparently, you Don’t have time for manners either,” you snap back.
Aemond turns to you. “Excuse m-“
“Hey! What’s going on?” Aegon rushes in from a back room. He smiles, but his eyes glance nervously between the two of you. “I see you’ve met my brother.” Aemond casts his gaze towards the ground, giving yet another ‘hmm.’
Unfortunately, you want to tell him. Instead you say, “I can give you the first payment now.”
“Awesome! Let’s handle that in the office, shall we?” Aegon asks, ushering you away without waiting for a response. Not that you needed to give one; you were more than eager to get away from Aegon’s rude brother. You pay Aegon, then the two of you head back into the garage. Aemond is nowhere to be found. Busy my ass, you think, trying not to grimace.
Together, you and Aegon load your Meraxes into the bed of the pickup. When you're done, you both lean against the side. Aegon turns his head to look at you.
“Sorry ‘bout Aemond. He’s not…the best with people. But he’s wicked good at what he does. This shop wouldn’t be running without him.”
You don’t say anything, only giving a small nod in response.
“Hey, if you’re free this weekend, there’s a meet going on near Visenya’s hill. You should come. It’ll be fun,” he explains with a small smile.”Ask Aly about it. She should know all the details.”
“Alright,” you tell him. “I’ll be there.”

Part 2
Massive thank you to @ladycheesington for helping me flesh this story out and helping with the side plot of Erwin and how the gang started <3
University was coming to an end and you couldn’t wait for it. After everything you’d been through, you’d had enough. The friends you made in your first year turned out to be terrible people by the end of it all, they were just two-faced and used your kindness. The man who chased you romantically and became your boyfriend was a liar, it turned out you were the mistress and he had a long-distance girlfriend. You felt exhausted by it all, the only good things were you had one really good friend not from the university and you did great with your degree.
Even though you knew you were walking out with a great degree, you didn’t have many jobs lined up. You wanted to write and the only job you could get was editing a pretty crap reporting website online, but the pay was okay and your soon-to-be boss seemed nice. So, it wasn’t too bad, but it meant another couple of years of struggling with money until you worked your way up the ranks or wrote a book.
Today you wanted a break from the noise of it all, which meant a nice lunch with your close friend Erwin was needed. You made your way across campus to Erwin’s business. You weren’t really sure what Erwin did, only that it was odd jobs for people and you didn’t question it because he was a wonderful sweet man. Erwin helped you through so much and was an incredible friend to you.
The closer you got to Erwin’s place of work the more your heart raced, not because you were seeing Erwin but because of a man sitting on his motorbike in front of the building talking to your friend. The bike was an old-school beautiful piece that was black with the melt polished so wonderfully. This man cared deeply for his bike.
He was of average height, but the rest was far from average. His slightly messy raven hair looked so soft just like his black eyelashes. He had a piercing on his lip, eyebrow and ears and you were sure there was one on his tongue, but it wasn't easy to see. He had tattoos on his neck and you were sure he had more, but he wore a leather jacket and gloves which covered him up. His trousers were tight on his thick muscular legs and the biker boots were the tip of the iceberg of sexy on him.
You gripped the strap on your side bag tightly as you felt a surge of arousal inside you. Erwin shouting your name made your heart skip a beat because the biker’s eyes landed on you. His eyes were so beautifully intense as they captured you. You smiled as best as you could, but you were sure you looked stupid. You didn’t know the biker’s heart was racing as fast as yours. A blush was consuming his cheeks as he admired you and how damn beautiful and cute you were.
You smiled at Erwin when you reached him. “Hey, I came because I was wondering if you wanted lunch.”
Erwin placed his hand on your shoulder. “Would love to have lunch. Can my friend come too?”
You stared at the biker to see his eyes had been on you since the moment Erwin brought his attention to you. “Sure thing.”
“This is Levi, he’s a good friend. Levi, this is my lovely friend from university.” He introduced you with a kind smile. “Be nice Levi.”
Levi put his helmet down and offered his gloved hand. “Tch, hi.”
You shook your hand. “Hello. I love your bike, it’s beautiful. I can tell you look after it.”
He blushed hard. “Th-thanks. It’s important to me. I uh…fixed it together myself, it was in scraps when I first bought it.”
You circled the bike. “This looks brand new. You have a talent.” You locked eyes with Levi and felt that fire again between the two of you. “Mm.”
He tilted his head a little. “I’m good with my hands.”
You squeaked a little and looked away from him. “A-Ah, lunch.”
Levi held back a smirk. “Cute.”
Erwin chuckled. “We can walk to our favourite place.”
You stood at Erwin’s side and nodded. “Sounds great.”
Erwin led the way and kept you at his side, but on your other side was Levi. Being in the middle of two handsome men was fantastic. Erwin was this big guy in a nice suit but had few tattoos. Erwin was a tamed-looking bad boy. Levi was this out-in-the-open bad boy, but it seemed there was a softness to him. It was hard not to stare at Levi because he was so dreamy and you felt this pull towards him. Your cheeks burned when you saw he was looking at you. A tiny smile from him made you gasp and look away.
Levi reached over towards you before quickly yanking you against his body as a person on a bicycle flew past. He growled sending a rumble through you. The wonderful scent rolling off him was intoxicating, he smelt so wonderful. He huffed in annoyance. “Fucking idiot.”
Erwin glared at the cyclist. “I hope he skids and slams into a wall.” He glanced down at you. “Are you okay? It’s a good job Levi is quick.”
You turned your head away from Levi’s chest and nodded. “Mm, I’m okay.”
Levi didn’t want to let you go because you felt so good against him, your scent was sweet, your body warm and your curves were sexy. He clenched up a little before releasing you. “Good.”
Erwin smiled when he saw the looks you and Levi were exchanging. “We’re close to our lunch spot.”
You felt your cheeks burning as you walked with the two men. Once the lunch spot came into view, you hurried ahead and went inside. You needed just a little bit of space from the men because you didn’t think your heart could take much more. You picked a spot and released a long sigh, but your relaxation didn’t last long because Levi sat right next to you and Erwin sat opposite.
Levi picked up the menu and looked it over. “Everything is cute-themed.” He looked over at you. “This something you like?”
You giggled. “Ask Erwin.”
Erwin put the menu down. “What can I say? I like pretty things.”
Levi glanced over at you. “I suppose that explains why you keep this one around.”
You flinched at his words. “Huh?”
Levi blushed and avoided your gaze. “I know what I want.”
Erwin smirked. “That’s good. Do you also know what you want to order?”
Levi groaned before ruffling his hair. “Tch, I don’t think you’re here for the food. You’re here for the owner of this café.”
“What if I like both?”
You giggled at their cute exchange. “You’re good friends.”
Erwin smiled. “We are.”
You and Erwin perked up when the pretty owner came over, she was very curvy with cute tattoos. The dress she wore was adorable and the thigh-high socks squeezed her thighs. You always liked her, and she was probably your only other friend. You waved to her as you grinned. “Hi, Kay.”
She waved at you. “Hi.” She gazed at Levi. “Who is this? Is he your boyfriend? When were you going to tell me you had a good-looking boyfriend? He looks badass. You two make such an adorable couple. You’re soulmates, I can sense it.” She saw Levi was bright red and then he was hiding his face. “Oh…I have made things awkward or maybe I have started something.”
Erwin chuckled. “I think you’ve started something.” He said all the orders and smiled at Kay. “I also have one last thing and it is the most important.”
Kay leaned over. “Really? What is it?”
He smiled a bit. “Your number.”
Kay blushed hard. “Do you mean it?”
He nodded. “I’ve been dying for your number for a while now and to take you on a date.”
She flicked a page in her notepad, scribbled down on it and ripped the page. “Here. I look forward to our date.” She noticed you and Levi were staring. “I’ll get your food and drink.”
You hummed a laugh as she hurried away. “Treat her well, Erwin.”
Erwin tapped Kay’s number on his phone. “Like a Queen.”
The two men chatted for a while and you just listened to them talk. Kay returned with the food and stayed for a while to talk to Erwin. As you ate your lunch, Levi kept looking over at you with a blush. You smiled a little at him and decided to talk to him because it seemed like he was desperate to say something, he just didn’t know what or how.
You turned to Levi with your milkshake in your hands. “So, have you and Erwin been friends a while?”
“Yeah. How about you?”
You nodded. “Yeah, I met him about a year ago. I was having a bad time at uni and I kind of ran into him. He’s a great friend.”
“He is.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “Any romantic feelings?”
You shook your head. “No, it is pure friendship.”
He fiddled with his glass as he thought over what he wanted to say next. “Are you seeing anyone?”
You felt your cheeks burn and a tingle go through you. “No.”
He locked eyes with you. “Do you want to?”
“What…what do you mean?” You were hoping he meant him, but it wasn’t obvious.
He gulped a little. “I meant…uh…you know…I’m single and you’re single.” He groaned a bit. “Sorry, this fucking sucks. I’m so shit.” He let out a long sigh. “I think you’re incredibly pretty. You’re cool, kind and sweet. I just…I want to keep you…”
“Keep me?”
“Around! I uh…shit…”
You nibbled your lip. “I’m happy for you to keep me.”
He gazed at you with a strong blush. “Really?”
“Yes. Can I give you my number?”
He fumbled with his phone and opened the contacts. “Y-Yes.” He blushed. “S-sorry my phone isn’t expensive. I just…I buy what I can afford…I umm…I’m sorry I’m poor.”
“Money doesn’t matter to me.” You smiled sweetly. “I’m a university student. I don’t have any money and I don’t mind if you don’t. All that matters to me is you like me and I like you, also we treat each other well. No, using each other or cheating.” You got nervous. “I’m the only one you’re dating.”
Levi frowned. “Did someone date you while they were with someone else?”
You nodded. “My ex. He dated me and was with someone else at the same time. I never knew.”
“Tch, what a piece of shit. He should have his dick and balls cut off. That is no man.”
You giggled. “You’re cute.”
“Th-thanks.” He looked up at Erwin. “You heading out?”
Erwin smiled a bit. “Yeah, Kay and I are going out on a date. It means you two can get cosy.”
You stood up and smiled a bit. “I probably should go home as I have a few essays to finish.”
Levi stood with you. “I can drive you back. I have two helmets.”
You smiled. “Thank you. I’d love that.” You waved to Erwin. “Have fun.”
Levi escorted you out of the café and down the road. He wanted to hold your hand but wasn’t sure if he should and felt so nervous. He talked with you the whole walk back to his bike, everything you said fascinated him. Even though he looked like a punk rocker bad boy and you a sweet little bunny of a woman, you both shared so much in common with each other. You managed to make each other laugh so hard.
He opened his side bag on his bike and pulled out the spare helmet. “This okay?”
You nodded. “It’s cool.”
He blushed hard. “I’ll make you a cute one if we stay as a couple. I…I want to. This sounds odd saying this, but I just feel so drawn to you.”
You placed your hands on Levi’s. “Me too. I like you a lot. You’re so damn handsome. I bet the tongue piercing feels nice.”
Levi’s eyes widened. “What?”
You yanked the helmet out of his hands and put it on your head. “N-nothing. I’m ready to go.”
He sat on his bike and put his helmet on. “Sit behind me and hold on tightly. Okay?”
You sat down and wrapped your arms around Levi. “Yes.”
Levi smiled when you squealed in delight at him racing off. He weaved around traffic and listened to your instructions for your address. Going fast was fun, but at the same time, he wanted to slow down so you could spend as much time as possible together. When you mentioned where to pull up, his heart sank in his chest because it meant his time with you was over.
You slipped off the back of Levi’s bike and pulled the helmet off. You grinned at Levi. “That was so much fun. Can we do that again sometime?”
He nodded at you and took his helmet off so he could gaze at you. “I would love that.”
You put the helmet in the bag. “You know, I don’t want to leave.”
Levi gazed at you. “I don’t want you to leave either.” He reached over and took your hand. “These feelings in me are confusing and exciting.” He lifted your hand and kissed. “You’re so sweet, kind and funny.” He pulled you closer and looked up at you. “I’ll organise the best date ever, I swear.”
You giggled. “I’m so excited. I just want to be with you and spend time with you.”
He leaned up and kissed you taking you both by surprise. He pulled back as a blush spread on his cheeks. “Uh.”
You giggled. “Did you just?”
He shoved his helmet on and grabbed the handles of his motorbike. “Mm.”
You reached over and pulled his helmet off. “I liked it.” You leaned closer and kissed his cheek. “I like you. I’ll see you soon.”
He gazed at you with adoration in his eyes. “Yeah.”
You placed his helmet back on before stepping back. You wave to him with a sweet smile. “Bye.”
Levi waved at you as he felt like he was in a daze. “Bye.”
You put on an outfit you love but also something to fluster and grab Levi’s attention. You knew that you were going on the back of Levi’s bike, so you made sure that you wore something cute but something you could ride in. Since parting with Levi, you had texted and called each other nonstop. A strong and passionate romance was blossoming between you and Levi. Those around the two of you would comment on how it seemed like you were soulmates.
The two of you thought about the one single kiss all the time, you both wanted more but you didn’t get a chance to meet up. So, today was the first official day of seeing him again and having a date. As you finished getting ready, a tingle of pleasure shot through you when you heard the wonderful deep rough sound of Levi’s bike. He was early.
You grabbed your bag, hopped around as you yanked on your boots and then raced out of your apartment to go see him. With a quick bye to your roommate, you made your way down the stairs, flew out the front door and landed in Levi’s arms. You squealed in delight at finally being with the man you knew deep in your very bones was going to be your forever.
Levi dropped you on your feet and blushed at how pretty you were. He longed to see you and the texting and calls were not enough. If Levi had a tail, it would be wagging hard at seeing you again. He was just so happy to have you in his arms. “You look so pretty.”
“Thank you.” You nibbled your lip. “You look so handsome.”
“I uh…I look okay, thank you though…” He flinched. “Oh, I got you something.” He opened his side bag and pulled out a helmet with chibi rabbits on. “This is for you.”
You gasped in delight and admired the cute helmet. “I love it.” You hugged it against you. “Thank you so much.” You moved closer to him. “Can I kiss you?”
“R-Really!?” He cleared his throat as he felt embarrassed that he’d gotten a bit loud. “I would love…like a kiss.”
You placed the helmet on his bike seat before walking right up to Levi. You linked your arms around Levi’s neck and smiled at him. You tilted your head and pressed your lips against Levi’s. You hummed in happiness when Levi wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you against him. The two of you slotted together so perfectly. Your heart raced when you felt his hot tongue on your lip. You parted your lips and moaned as his tongue slipped into your mouth. A shiver went through you when you felt his hot tongue with a piercing move against yours.
You pulled back and hummed. “Your piercing feels nice.”
“I’m glad you like it. If you don’t, I can take it out.”
You shook your head and lightly touched the piercing on his lip. “I adore all your piercings.”
He hummed. “Well, you haven’t seen all of them.”
You blushed. “Huh?”
He went bright red. “N-nothing! Shall we go?”
You pulled your helmet on. “Yes. I’m excited.”
“Me too.”
You waited for Levi to sit on his bike correctly before you sat behind him and hugged him tightly. A little squeal escaped you as he drove off and started weaving through traffic. You had no clue where you were going, but it was exciting. As he drove you started to recognise the place around you, it seemed like you were close to Erwin’s office as well as the workshop where Levi repairs cars and bikes.
Levi drove past where he worked and kept going further until he reached an apartment block. He pulled up and parked the bike. “We’re here.”
You slipped off the back. “Where is here?”
He pulled his helmet off and sighed. “Um, it’s my place but we’re not going into my apartment.” He climbed off and sorted out the helmets before grabbing a bag. “We’re going to the roof.”
You grinned. “Sounds exciting.”
“I’m glad you’re happy.” He escorted you to the fire escape and then lifted you to the beginning part. He jumped up after you and began climbing up the stairs with you. “Are you okay with heights?”
You hummed. “I’m okay.”
“I’m glad.” He got to the last part and looked up. “I will go first and then I’ll help you up after.”
“Thank you.”
He climbed up the ladder before turning and offering his hand. “Come on.”
You giggled and started climbing up after him. “This is such a fun mystery.”
Levi pulled you up and onto the roof. “I set up a nice little area.”
As soon as Levi turned you saw the amazing setup. A little fort had been set up by him. A gazebo-like structure was the structure of it and then a waterproof cover covered the top. Fairy lights were hooked up to create a pretty lighting so you could see when it got dark. There was a stove to cook things, but it wasn’t lit yet. It seemed he had used this place before to be alone, but now it was a place for him and you.
Levi stumbled closer to it. “It’s not the best, but I tried to assemble something. I don’t have much money, so the quality of food probably sucks…”
You leaned up and kissed his cheek. “Levi, I’ve been a university student for three years. I lived on cheap food all that time. I love that kind of food. Besides, it teaches you to be creative and it is fun!”
He smiled at you. “Yeah, yeah it does.”
“Besides…” you walked to the front of the little fort to see blankets, cushions and pillows “this looks super fucking cosy. I get to cuddle up with you in here for hours. I think that is the best date ever!”
He moved over to the front and slipped his shoes off. “I even got us entertainment.”
You took your shoes off and climbed in. “Oh yeah?”
He pointed to the buildings across. “Apartments and business buildings. We can people watch.”
You gasped. “Oh, I love that!”
“I love.” Levi gasped and stopped himself from finishing off his sentence. “Ah, do you want uh…a drink?”
You grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around you. “Love one.”
He opened a cooler and pulled out two diet cokes. “Here.”
“Thank you.” You gazed at the can. “I’m surprised that it’s not booze.”
He played with his can. “I didn’t want you to think I was just getting you drunk, you know? You’re important to me. I want us to be sober on our first date and enjoy each other’s company.”
“It’s a nice change.” You shuffled closer and leaned against Levi. “This is perfect.”
Levi’s heart fluttered in his chest. “I’m glad. Shall I put some music on?”
You nodded and pulled the blanket off you a little and put one side around Levi. “Please.”
Levi put some music on and then snuggled with you under the blanket. “Let me know when you want to eat. I’ll cook something up.”
“You’re the best.”
A blush spread over his cheeks. “Oh, I don’t know about that…but thank you.”
You pressed yourself against him and settled nicely against him. “You’re so lovely and warm.”
“You too.” He hummed. “Can I put my arm around you?”
“Yes.”
He wrapped his arm around you as soon as you permitted him. He gave you a little squeeze and looked out at the building across from you. “Those suits can’t be comfortable.”
You hummed a laugh. “I always wondered about that with men. I mean, a man in a nice suit is sexy but wearing it all day must be a pain.” You looked up at Levi. “What do you wear for work? You’re a mechanic right?”
He blushed. “Jeans normally. A Jumpsuit is useful, but I tie it around my waist. I also do jobs on the side with Erwin. I like the work I do with Erwin. For that job, I wear long-sleeved black shirts and jeans.”
Your eyes sparkled. “Tight long sleeves?”
“Yes?”
You hugged Levi. “I bet you look so sexy.”
Levi shivered. “I ah…maybe.”
You looked up at him. “I think you’re so handsome and sexy.”
“I think you’re incredible. You’re so pretty, cute and sexy.” He leaned down and kissed you. “I adore you.”
“I adore you.” You reached towards him and lightly touched the earrings on his ear. “So nice.”
“Thanks. I’m sorry, but I just want to keep kissing you.”
You giggled. “I’d be happy with that. I want it too.”
Levi smiled before crashing his lips against yours. He nipped your lip before pushing his tongue into your mouth. The two of you moaned in delight as you felt the tingle and the heat between the two of you. The fire that Levi and you shared was addictive and hypnotic. You couldn’t get enough of each other and always wanted to be together. You didn’t want to rush things, but the two of you were so perfect for each other and had such a bond that there was no use fighting what you had.
You flopped back onto the covers and giggled as you looked up at Levi. “Cute.”
Levi leaned over you. “I’m cute?”
“Very.”
He hummed. “Well, if it’s a good thing then I am cute.” He leaned down and kissed you. “I can’t believe you want to be with me.”
You cupped his face. “How can I not?” You went to pull him down for a kiss but shouting caught your attention. You looked over at the building across to see two women shouting at a well-dressed man. “What in the world?”
Levi shifted off you, lay on his side next to you and placed a hand on your tummy. “Looks like a fight of lovers. He’s been having an affair maybe?”
You hummed. “I think you’re right.” You gasped as an idea struck you. “Or, she saved a precious cookie and one of them ate it. She doesn’t mind they’re shagging, but the cookie is everything.” You gasped and put on a voice for the woman. “Jason you know very well how much those cookies mean to me! They are my life-givers.”
Levi chuckled and played along. “Thing is my darling, cookies seem to disappear around me! The closer I get to one the more it slowly disappears.”
“Well, I say that makes no sense! The cookie was my cure.”
Levi squeezed you. “It’s the government! They did this to me?”
“They made you a cookie destroyer?”
“Yes!”
“How awful. I’m sorry, but I can’t be with someone who destroys cookies. I love them too much.”
Levi gasped. “Oh, the horror of it all! The government takes away my cookie love and wants to destroy me!”
You laughed hard. “This was fun.”
Levi smiled down at you. “It is.” He thought about the gang and criminal work he did for Erwin. “What would you do if the government was after me?”
You hummed in thought. “I would hide you and protect you.”
“Really? You’d do that for me?”
You nodded. “Of course.” You reached up and lightly touched his cheek. “I’d look after you.”
Levi felt his heart race and his cheeks burn. He leaned down and hid his face in the crook of your neck. “That makes me happy.”
You reached up and played with his hair. You rolled a little to face him and wrapped your other arm around him. “I want you to be happy.”
Levi hugged you for a moment before pulling back and seeing your eyes were closed. He thought it was adorable how you felt so relaxed and comfy with him that you had fallen asleep. He snuggled against you again and drifted off into a light sleep as well. As time went on, Levi was awoken by a rumble. Once he opened his eyes, he saw rain was coming and it was due to a storm. The shelter he had built was perfectly safe for you both.
He leaned up and watched the rain while he made sure he held you close. When you started waking up he knew that he had to move you inside. “Sweet bunny lady?”
You opened your eyes and hummed. “Levi?”
He smiled down at you. “The rain is pretty bad. We should head inside. We don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
You sat up and ruffled your hair. “I’d love to go into your place. We can have dinner there, right?”
“Yeah.”
You smiled. “Allow me to cook.”
“Sure!” He packed up everything to make sure it stayed dry. He turned the lights off and then grabbed your bag for you. “We’ll go through the door instead of the fire escape.”
“Lead the way.”
He grabbed your hand and ran across the roof with you as you both giggled in delight. He fumbled with his keys, unlocked the roof access door and yanked you inside. He panted a bit on the stairs before looking down at you to see you were wet, water was trickling down your pretty face and breasts. He felt a hunger inside him and gulped hard.
You shivered a little. “Cold.”
Levi flinched. “Ah, sorry.” He pulled you down the stairs until he got to his floor. He unlocked his front door and paused. “Just to warn you…”
You caressed his cheek. “Don’t be sorry. You shouldn’t be sorry for your financial situation. You are perfect. I fell for you because of how fun and wonderful you are. I don’t give a shit about money. Today’s date has been the best I’ve ever been on. Who the fuck needs those stupid fancy restaurants. I’m a girl who loves a fat burger, or a massive pizza, or a huge serving of ramen.”
Levi smiled. “I love all those.” He pushed the door open. “Come on in.”
You slipped into his small apartment and fell in love. It was simple with a cute clean kitchen. He didn’t have a sofa, but he did have lots of soft cushions and a blanket in front of a small coffee table that he must have used as a dining table. The tv was small but you didn’t need anything big. You had one that was bigger and a gaming system, which would fit perfectly here. In the far corner with a room divider hiding it a bit was a nicely made bed, but there was no bed frame. His bed was just a double mattress with the softest-looking duvet and pillows. The only door you saw must have gone to his bathroom.
You loved how he had a fair few windows, one was to the fire escape that looked like Levi often used to leave his apartment. “This is so cute.” You slipped your shoes off and jacket. “Could I borrow some clothes? I’m a bit wet.”
He nodded and made his way to a wardrobe. He grabbed a shirt of his and jogging bottoms. “Will these be okay?”
You gasped in delight. “Gimmie! Yes!” You took them from him and bounced on the spot. “Thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome. I’ll get some drinks for us.”
You hurried to his bathroom and changed into the new clothes. You adored how they smelt of Levi, but parts of them were tight. The bottoms were a tad snug on your thighs and bum, but loose elsewhere. The top was tight over your breasts, but big on the rest of you. You still loved his clothes on you and thought you looked nice.
As soon as you hurried out of the bathroom Levi was in awe of you. Levi couldn’t believe how adorable you looked. He moved closer to you and cupped your face. “You look so adorable.” He kissed you and hummed. “So sweet.”
You whined a bit. “I wanna hug you, but you’re soaking wet.”
Levi kissed the end of your nose. “I want cuddles. So, I will change.”
“You okay with me cooking?”
“Sure. Help yourself to what I have.”
You checked what he had and it was just perfect for you. You were going to make some tasty ramen. You put together some noodles in water. As everything bubbled away you boiled two eggs and cut up some veg to add to it. You hummed a song to yourself and felt comfortable like you were meant to be here with Levi.
Levi gathered up the clothes and hung everything up to dry. He glanced over at you and felt his heart swell, you looked so good in his apartment in his things. He walked up behind you and hugged you tightly. “Mm.”
You placed a hand on Levi’s. “You okay handsome?”
He nuzzled the crook of your neck and inhaled deeply. “Mm.”
You giggled. “Am I going to get more from you than mm?”
“Mm.” He sighed your name.
You turned in his arms and kissed him. “Mm.”
He blushed. “That’s my line.”
“Not anymore.” You cupped his face. “What were you thinking about?”
“Just how good you look in my apartment. How I always want to see this.”
You smiled at him. “Well, I like being here.”
He blushed before lowering his head a bit. “Um…dinner smells really good.”
“Thank you.”
He spoke with just a whisper. “I like you so much.”
You leaned up and kissed him. “I like you too.”
He released you. “I’ll set the table.”
“Thank you, handsome.”
Levi shivered a bit. “That a pet name?”
You giggled as you filled the bowls with ramen. “Maybe. “
He sat at the coffee table. “I love them.”
You placed the food on the table and sat with him. “Enjoy!”
Levi leaned over and kissed your cheek. “Thank you for dinner.”
The two of you ate together as you chatted. Once the food was gone, Levi cleaned up before setting up the sitting area with blankets and cushions. The two of you browsed a streaming service and put a movie on as you snuggled closely. As the night went on you both started to get tired. The first to fall asleep was you and Levi took it as a compliment again. He gently lays you down before making his bed for the two of you to share.
He gently woke you up. “Hey, cute little bunny it is bedtime. I can’t image you want to sleep here.”
“I don’t want to go home.”
He hushed you as you got upset. “I meant the floor. I want to help you to bed.”
You sniffed. “Oh, I thought you meant…thank you for letting me stay.”
He helped you to your feet. “I’ll be honest, I don’t want to let you go.”
You hummed a laugh. “Good.” You stumbled to his bed and shifted a little with your bra before whipping it out from under the shirt and plopping it on the floor. “Better.” You sat on the mattress and looked up at Levi. “You don’t mind me sharing the bed, do you?”
“Not at all.” He pulled his shirt off and blushed. “Sorry, I don’t like sleeping with a shirt on.”
You pulled the jogging bottoms off. “I don’t like bottoms, so I guess we make a whole outfit.”
Levi stared at your bare legs. “Mm…”
You slipped under the cover and relaxed. “Comfy.”
“Can I cuddle up to you?”
You nodded. “Please.”
He shifted closer and wrapped his arms around you. “Goodnight.” He softly said your name before kissing your forehead.
You closed your eyes and relaxed. “Mm, goodnight Levi.

street racer!lando
Lando is a young artist who grew up without a father, with his mother and older sister Leila.
Due to the lack of an authoritative man and his mother, who was always busy at work, Norris quickly joined the company of neighborhood boys and eventually began to appear among street racers, absorbing their passion for racing so much that he made it his lifestyle.
Speed has become his passion, which he is not ready to give up. However, his sister constantly begs Norris to give up racing and devote himself to drawing, for which Lando has a natural talent - he paints stunning landscapes and has a photographic memory.
He met motorcycle racer Carlos Sainz when he was 17 and Carlos was 22, and increasingly began to race with him not only for competitive purposes, but also to spend more time with the young man he liked.
biker!carlos
Carlos Sainz Jr., a talented mechanic who inherited his father's golden hands and small workshop, began to take over the Sainz Sr. business from childhood. He loves to dig into iron and breathe a second life into a pile of metal.
One day, when Carlos was still a teenager, they brought him a broken bike for repair and asked him to restore it at any cost. After the repair, the young Spaniard was allowed to ride his restored creation for a while, and this became the starting point for the future racer.
As he grew up, Carlos saved up for his own bike, along the way riding the converted junk from piles of scrap metal that he managed to assemble in his workshop with his father.
At 22, he met a young street racer, Lando, with the talent of an artist, and decided to test the young talent of the world of night racing for strength ... and the ability to see beauty even in the rude sons of mechanics.

Sparks and Shrapnel⚙️
Hazard x Mechanic! Reader
A/N: is this an excuse to write mechanic fics because I think hazard would like someone like that too? Yes, yes it is 👹✨.
Summary: Hazard comes by for a repair
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
The clang of metal and the soft hum of welding tools filled the small workshop. You were elbow-deep in the guts of a hover bike, grease smeared across your cheek and fingers as you worked to coax the stubborn machine back to life. The flickering overhead light cast your shadow across the workbench, the rhythmic beat of your favorite playlist thrumming in the background.
The sound of heavy boots approaching caught your attention. You turned your head just as the door slid open, revealing Hazard. His rugged frame filled the doorway, his signature smirk tugging at his lips.
“Ye’ know, sparks and shrapnel aren’t all that different” he teased, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed. His blonde hair was tousled, his sharp eyes scanning the chaos of your workspace. “Reckon I’m in the right place.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop the grin from spreading across your face. “You’re here to make a mess, aren’t you?”
He chuckled, stepping inside. “Nae this time. Actually, I’ve got a wee favor to ask.” He placed a small device on your workbench. It was a detonator, its casing scorched and wires frayed. “This wee thing’s seen better days. Think ye can work yer magic?”
“You’re lucky I like a challenge” you replied, grabbing the device and inspecting it. “But you owe me. Again.”
“Dinner?” he offered, his tone light but his gaze lingering on you a moment too long.
Your heart skipped a beat, though you masked it with a snort. “Depends. Are we talking five-star or street food?”
“Whatever ye fancy, Sweet Pea” he replied, the nickname rolling off his tongue with a lilting charm.
You shook your head and got to work, your hands moving deftly as you stripped the detonator of its damaged components. Hazard lingered, watching you with quiet admiration. There was something mesmerizing about the way you worked, completely immersed in the task at hand. The soft glow of the tools highlighted your focused expression, and Hazard found himself leaning closer without realizing it.
“You’re staring” you said without looking up.
“Am I?” he replied, unrepentant.
You paused, glancing at him. “Yes. And it’s distracting.”
“Can’t help it” he said, his voice dropping an octave. “It’s not every day I get to watch an artist at work.”
Heat rose to your cheeks, and you ducked your head to hide it. “Flattery won’t fix your detonator any faster.”
“Aye, but is it workin’ on you?” he asked, leaning on the bench, his face closer to yours now. The air between you seemed to crackle with tension like the moments before a fuse ignites.
You set down the tool and met his gaze, your lips quirking in a challenge. “Maybe.”
Hazard’s smirk widened, but before he could respond, the detonator let out a small pop, followed by a faint spark. You both jumped, laughing as the tension broke.
“Guess that’s a sign I should keep my hands tae masel” he said, his grin mischievous.
“For now” you shot back, picking up the device. “But you’re not off the hook for that dinner.”
“Wouldnae dream of it” he replied, his tone softening. He watched as you resumed your work, his heart beating just a little faster. There was something about you, something he couldn’t quite put into words. But he was willing to stick around to figure it out—even if it meant more sparks and shrapnel along the way.

WIBTA for reporting my neighbours for running a hack shop mechanic operation? [Long post, sorry!]
I live in a somewhat "bad" area. I really don't mean to judge people for who they are or what they do with their lives, but living here isn't pleasant. Unfortunately, the price divide between the "two sides" of my area is steep. You go from $60,000 houses to $400,000 houses with no middle ground, so moving isn't really an option unless I want to just change where I am in the "bad" side.
I live on a straight stretch of road, houses on one side of it, a wall on the other. This is relevant to the story. Its not a very long straight, but its straight, with two blind corners on either end.
Now, onto my neighbours. They're not good people. They deal and use drugs, there seems to be an endless supply of people moving in and out with them, they have uncontrolled and aggressive dogs that have caused issues in the area, they're known for fighting at maximum volume on the streets at 4am, they ride loud illegal (and stolen) bikes up and down the street at dangerous speeds and other things.
(With the latter, they've already caused two accidents, almost caused a lot more, and have already killed two animals by hitting them as they race up and down the street.)
Their latest thing, for the last year or so, seems to be running some kind of illegal workshop on bikes and vans right outside their house. At all hours. I've been woken up at 11pm and 4am before by insanely loud engine revving, and when I've looked out of the window they're on the street with torches, elbow-deep in engines.
This is a daily thing. And the engine revving seems to be a constant part of it. Even with my windows closed, I had to call off a work meeting once because it was so loud my team couldn't even hear me talking properly.
At least twice a day they have a van or motorcycle, sometimes more than one, that they're working on. They'll rev it a ton, rummage around, speed it up and down the street, then the cycle begins again the next day. Multiple people in my area have complained to them, but all they do is tell you to fuck off or threaten to beat you up.
Now the noise and the dangerous driving is one thing, but I'm also extremely dubious about the quality and safety of their so-called repairs. None of them seem to have any actual training in mechanics or how to properly fix what could be a legitimately dangerous issue in a vehicle.
If you know anything about vehicles you know that something "fixed" improperly can be deadly. If something fails in a vehicle when you're doing high speeds on the freeway, you can not only take your own life but possibly those of others, too.
And my neighbours do not seem like the kind of people who care about that.
I've seen them using duct-tape to fix up a motorcycle once.
Now normally, I've just turned a blind eye to anything happening in my area. The people who have been relocated due to their behavior have just been replaced by people equally as bad, if not worse, so I've learned to just stay in my lane, save my money and hope I can leave one day.
However this... Seems like something I should speak up about. I can respect a hustle and a little under the table income, but I cannot respect risking people's lives for some quick cash. Nor can I respect the fact that it triples the dangerous driving and dangerous people in the area.
So... My question is would I be an asshole if I at least tried to get the police to do something about this? Or, is it even worth it? Can anything be done about an unlicensed mechanics operation?
What are these acronyms?
