i’m sorry all i can imagine right now is crowley trying to Do A Thing with like, spies or something circa nazi church and aziraphale being like “why am I the femme fatale in this situation” 

i cannot stop thinking about crowley’s whole Look during nazi church and like, the general tone of that scene before the romance of it all started, and the connection between wwii and spies and the league of ungentlemanly warefare and the creation of james bond. crowley likes james bond because it reminds him of being a Super Cool Spy during wwii that’s my new headcanon for the show

If one more person calls me a man for using he/him im gonna snap. The most recent one who did said I was annoying trans man who was oppressing women bc "nb ppl are perceived as either female or male based on appearance and that's what matters" ignoring that I am usually assumed to be a woman by anyone who sees me. I'm not even aligned- I just prefer non she/her pronouns because of dysphoria. And the kicker is- they're NB too, and they appear to be an anti ace and anti pan reactionary

yeah, there are groups of nb people - usually of nb people who consider themselves ‘basically the same’ as a binary gender and pass or want to pass as such - that buy into gender reductionist bullshit

this is why i don’t really seek general ‘nonbinary groups’ anymore, unless they make an effort to include several kinds of nonbinary experiences, and not just by saying ‘genderfluid people are valid’ or ‘agender people are valid’, but by actually taking into account people who don’t want to be seen or counted as women or men, as well as people who do want to be recognized as adjacent to men or women (because i’ve also already seen ‘but nonbinary is about rejecting the binary/rejecting labels so you can’t be a nb woman/man’ bullshit).

Splitting this into its own post because GAM really doesn’t need it in her notes: It is ableist and classist to disregard the health of others as you feed your addiction. (Frex, there’s a strong correlation between asthma and poverty.)

However, it’s also ableist and classist to set the standard at “not in public except in designated smoking areas.”

Do you have any idea how far the nearest designated smoking area is from me? Neither do I, because I have literally never spotted one in Phoenix. There sure aren’t any anywhere near my (working poor) home. And I can’t smoke in my home - there’s an accessibility conflict there.

So... yeah, when I smoke, I smoke outside. In public. Outside designated smoking areas.

I also do it away from air intakes, doors, and people who don’t smoke the same things, and the most waste I leave behind is a touch of carefully-dispersed no-longer-burning ash.

I feel like that’s a reasonable standard to hold, and really all I’d want to hold others to given the opportunity. What made me take issue with that post was framing smokers’-rights-as-ableism-and-classism-issue as “just a way to silence vulnerable people.”

I am a vulnerable person. And the standard you set would do some very not-good things to my mental health regimen. Please don’t forget me just because other people are assholes.

Results of the week long poll regarding The Flag

(ID: a phone sketch of a mostly black flag with two green stripes, and a blue-purple rose with dark red horns)

As one can see if they check my poll, the result that won was the mostly black flag. However one will also note that that poll only had 20 votes, and while I asked around to get more opinions, I only got about 27 people's opinions on it. Admittedly even with those the mostly black flag still won, but I'm disappointed* with the lack of results I got. If I can get more attention on this project, I might hold a more formal poll lasting for a month or so as opposed to the week long limit twitter has.

*im not especially surprised though because twitter is a little hard to get things going if you don't have a bunch of followers already and there's not a lot of men in general on Tumblr, gay men almost especially.

This server is explicitly for light and fun conversation without discourse or fighting.

We also did a short course on Mandarin Chinese in school so I can’t really speak it but I could probably pick it out.
