#actually i think it's kind of realistic that there's a mix of names like maybe some older names held out or were altered slightly#like roj for roger#or kerr as a first name instead of a last name#and then there's the fact that multiple characters have the first name 'del'. i thought it was annoying at first but it's probably realistic#del is the new john ig#sometimes b7 has glimpses of very elegant worldbuilding#and sometimes they're like 'yeah this planet has vikings on it idk deal with it'#big challenges!#also kate if ur reading this hiii

I started this around September 2023 anticipating to finish it for dunmeshi's finale! But things got hectic! Here is the finished product to celebrate anime airing day; 2024 is truly the year of dunmeshi!

recently i reread a bunch of my favorite sherlock holmes stories (norw my beloved) and felt compelled to create my own diagram for 221B
#sherlock holmes#there are so many great blueprints and maps out there and i thought it would be fun to toss my own hat into the ring#trying to be accurate to what is mentioned in the books#while still allowing for some fun artistic embellishments#was a nice challenge!#i ended up doing lestrades office too but of course you never do see that in canon so it was much more vibes~ based#i am going to color this and spruce it up some but we needed break here before diving back in#since i think the timelapse of this drawing is longer than some feature films 💀💀💀#anyway definitely open these images in a new tab and zoom in if you can bc these are really big

you know 99.99% of the time when a character is "the attractive one" in american tv or movies it doesnt work bc every other person on screen is also extremely conventionally attractive so it always feels a little silly that the rest of the cast is pretending this one person is so much hotter than them and out of their league bc there's always at least 6 other people who are equally if not more attractive than "the attractive one". but in challengers it actually works because that's zendaya
#honestly in general choosing to cast an extremely famous actress as tashi among less well-known actors works so well for the story#it helps sell tashis character more i feel. like ofc you believe shes a big deal. ofc you believe everyone thinks shes hot. thats zendaya!#personal#challengers#(not to say the other actors are not well-known but again. we are comparing them to literal zendaya)
