I was thinking about fem Leona and now here we are. Twst characters but they women.

Riddle Rosehearts

Nothing personality wise changes nor height but I’d like to think she wears her hair in space buns. She still has that heart antenna to sense when people are breaking rules but she either has her hair in space buns or one long braid. She wears a skirt with her dorm uniform and it’s VERY long reaching down to her ankles

Trey Clover

Again personality doesn’t change she’s just a pretty okay person all around with a weird teeth fetish or smt. Her hair is a bit longer than OG Trey kinda turning into a mullet. I believe in buff Trey so fem Trey is also pretty built, she had strong arm muscles and back muscles. Also her and Masc Trey are the same height. So she’s like a six foot tall woman who could easily beat the shit out of you. Unlike Riddle she doesn’t wear skirts she just wears pants. Isn’t a big fan of dresses and skirts just not her thing

Cater Diamond

She a gyaru girlie <3!!!! She’s not much different personality wise from Cater definitely has his addiction to social media and peppy personality. She has much longer hair than Masc Cater, hers fall to her shoulders and it’s curly. She is definitely the best dressed out of her dorm and she loves girly clothes. Wears a shorter skirt her skirt going to her thighs and just above her knees, she also has leg warmers and heeled boots making her seem taller than Masc Cater (She’s the same height as him just the heels make her taller) and she has fake nails.

She’s a girls girl, definitely the girl that has pads and tampons in her bag along with band aids and pain killers. She’s the girl you meet in the bathroom during your period who hooks you up with like three pads and some pain killers

Deuce Spade

Deuce literally doesn’t change. The only change is boobs. Literally the same person. She’s like an inch shorter than masc deuce though but they got the same haircut and everything. She like Trey doesn’t wear a skirt and just wears pants, she might wear a skirt in once a blue moon but it’s long like Riddles.

Same shit head just has tits now. Her hair is a bit longer going half way down her neck and she wears a skirt just goes to her knees nothing special. Probably picks her nose in public

Leona Kingscholar

The beast men characters have the most personality change and Fem Leona is nothing like Masc Leona. She physically can’t not be doing something. Girlie is always walking around doing something and she actually has trouble sleeping. She’s also more dominant than Masc Leona, like she’ll make you wish you were never born if you disrespect her. Her hair is shorter but she still has those two braids and she’s like the same height as Masc Leona.

She’s also muscular like Leona, with strong arms and legs also girl has a six pack. She can and WILL beat you up. All her dorm mates respect her and if she tells you to do smt you better just nod and go do it. She is also just has a normal skirt for her uniform

Ruggie Bucchi

Taller than Ruggie and more of an asshole. She’ll steal your food right off your plate then eat it in front of you. She gets into more fights than Masc Ruggie due to female hyenas being much more dominant than male ones. Her hair is longer than Ruggie and is always done up in a ponytail. Her and Leona’s relationship is more friendly than Masc Leona and Ruggies and fem Ruggie will talk shit to Leona’s face if she thinks sometimes stupid. They fight sometimes. Physically.

She wears a skirt for her uniform just one that goes to her knees. She will also throw a brick at you

Jack Howl

Also literally nothing changes. She’s just like an inch shorter than Masc Jack other than that she’s just as muscular and has the same hair length as Masc Jack. She is another pants girlie. She just never got used to wearing skirts because of how cold her home town is. Probably gives great hugs idk

Azul Ashengrotto

Wanna be business woman. Not much changed really she’s just more sass then Masc Azul is. She serves more cunt along with food. Her hair is much longer and done into a braid that just lays on her shoulder and wears red lipstick. She wears a pencil skirt instead of like a normal one. She’s also taller than Masc Azul like Azul is 5,8 and she’s 5,10. She’s also less ashamed of her mer form and she’s fucking huge in her mer form definitely bigger than Azul.

She’s also a bigger girl, she isn’t very muscular like some other ladies at NRC but she has a bigger body type (She isn’t plus size but she isn’t skinny).

She is more feminine presenting than Floyd is with longer hair than her twin that she keeps in a ponytail. Her hair falls to her shoulder and is never not in a ponytail. She’s less muscular and just tall n lanky, she also wears a pencil skirt but hers is long. She seems chill but is probably wanted for murder somewhere, don’t ever be alone in a room with her if you don’t wanna end up on a milk carton <3

Floyd Leech

Her hair kinda just stays short like Masc Floyd. She got that pixie cut that she probably did herself and looks like actual ass (Jade tried to fix it up for her but there wasn’t much helping that). She’s the same height as Masc Floyd and had the same personality has him just is now a victim of the “are you on your period or smt?”. She is more muscular than Jade cause she beats the fuck out of people on the regular.

My friends and I have a tradition of playing "does this character have sex" whenever we get into a new piece of media, because we always enjoy everything together, and today we spent a few hours discussing TWST charactrs. They found out that I now have a Tumblr blog and told me I should "post our very scientific findings for the interwebs" (Note that we are all between the ages of 16-17, so in the same age group as the characters)

Heartslabyul (general judgement): The virgin one

Riddle: no, and he somehow doesn't even know what sex is. You'd think he'd know with how much he studies about everything you learn in school, so even sex-ed but no, he doesn't know

Ace: gray area, no bitches respectfully, except maybe Deuce, but we couldn't agree on that, he would treat it as "it's just a prank bro, no homo"

Deuce: yeah, sure, I mean he's pretty okay looking, not often tho

Cater: he seems like he'd be a dicord kitten or an insta-thot, he tries but doesn't really succeed, maybe once or twice.

Trey: no, because he actually wears a fedora, unironically. "he's as bland as the flour he uses in his cakes"-my friend#2

Savanaclaw (general judgement): Gahdayumm!!

Leona: YES! absoulutley 100% just look at him, but he'd be one of those lazy tops, is very casual about it, there isn't a lot to say because it's just so obvious that he is 100% a sex haver

Ruggie: Hard to say, he has an Italian souding name so maybe no, he hasn't yet discovered that he can earn quite a lot of money that way, or maybe he has (we couldn't agree on this)

Octavinelle (general judgement): ehhhh, fish go brrr

Azul: this was a very hard one to decide but in the end no, no real reason just doesn't seem like he would have it, he's on that alpha buisness grindset

Jade: Yes becazse friend#1 said so (she's a strong Jade stan) and everyone decided to let her have this one, but everybody else generally thinks he is Asexual (friend#1 is also ace)

Floyd: yes, he is bisexual in wicked and scheming ways and everybody is aware of that. Chaos bi, him and Jade are two side of a coin, all or nothing. He flirts by messing with people, mostly Riddle but as I've already said Riddle has no idea what's going on and just thinks Floyd has it out for him

Scarabia (general judgement): This was the hardest one to discuss

Kalim: He is very lovable, but no, for unknown reasons, boy has 0 rizz

Jamil: yeah, ig, normal 17 year old guy, he isn't basic like Trey, but he just doesn't have time because of Kalim

Vil: Yes, and his standards are surprisingly not as high as you'd think, we got very heated about how people often mischaracterize him as a very vain but he just wants people to be themselves and best version of themselves. Good for cardio

Rook: yes, in freaky kinky ways (see Rook alchemy card) he sometimes has touble finding people who are into the same stuff as him

Epel: no, beacause he is an "alpha male" in the worst ways possible

Ignihyde (General judgement): you'd think they be reddit mods, but they actually tumblr sexymen

Idia: yes, he has that disheveled rizz, the more they look like they haven't left the house since 2015 the better. We stan broken men in this household(blog), only on halloween tho that's when his confidence get's a bit better and he becomes and active member of society

VYN RICHTER - he probably gets into fights with artem frequently, with marius fuelling the fight 95% of the time. he's usually the one that acts too cool for artem, usually using his two degrees to make artem shut up in an argument. loves perfume. he's the resident therapist of the group and usually he's the one they run to for romantic advice. he wondes why when he's single and has never even dated anyone. emotionally reserved. has an air of sophistication around him. 100% can read artem, though. they often think of the same thing and get each other through visual or verbal cues. he is closest with his sister, y/n. regularly keeps tabs on her for her safety.

MARIUS VON HAGEN - causes most inconvenience in the group chat, with his butler vincent cleaning up after his mess most of the time. he loves to annoy people in the gc. definitely loves to play the "younger brother" card. the crackhead of the group. 100% lost in between conversation. usually the one who's first to hear news of this and that. most fashionable member. even if he's by the far the not-so-favorite team member, they appreciate him for being a big help during nixx cases. he enjoys posting online whenever they get together. he's usually the loud one in the gc.

tell me about your most insane awful targ oc! and some brief summary of each of visenya's children? (looks, personality, spouse, fate etc)

Okay! sooo Visenya has 15 children that survive infancy so I’ll do a list up of those first and then maybe do a second post about my most insane targs, depending on how long this one’s gonna be!!

First we have Maegor II (103-157AC) he has his moms Valyrian features, hes somewhat buff (for a Targaryen man at least) and sun tanned from spending time in dorne. He was often teased for not having a dragon as a boy (Daemon gave him an egg, but it hatched into a Wyrm and took a bite it of his cheek, when he was a baby) so he’s a bit bitter and put all of his energy into becoming a great warrior, which paid off and eventually earned him the nickname of ‘the warrior among men’ (because u know the warrior from the seven), he’s always been serious and very focused on being the perfect heir and later king. He was 7 when Otto and Vissy fought so bad that they didn’t talk for 4 years, he’s a big mommas boy so he never really got close to Otto after that. He married princess Velaris Martell in 120 when they where both 17, (Visenya made a deal with Vels aunt and possibly fucked her dad to make that happen) they only knew each other for a year beforehand, but the marriage went surprisingly well, apart from their problems to conceive a child for the first 11 years. I head canon Maegor as a big fat asexual so that may have something to do with that… well they end up king and queen anyway in 149, they are good at ruling and Maegor claims Vermithor upon his moms death, so he can’t go and defeat the Pirates and fleet of the three sisters that attack from the stones! He has 6 kids in total, his daughter Rhaenys becomes queen after him and he is remembered as the warrior king. In 157 Maegor grabbed Blackfyre and was about to storm of and mount Vermithor after hearing about Aurys death, but had a stroke and died. (Also funfact: Visenya had a vision of Maegor the cruel during labor and on the ride to dragonstone (it was her first dragon flight) so she named him that. Otto is not a fan).

Baelor I (105-130AC) is a lot easier, he takes after his father in appearance, save for the violet eyes, he wears his hair in a bit of a snappy short cut, that he probably did himself (without a mirror) and is also relatively build, he lost an eye during his pirating years, so he usually wears an eye patch. He was very close to Maegor as a kid, his disappearance in 120 was a hit for Maegor. Baelor, Jaehaeron and Aerion were always big fans of their uncle Corlys and spend a LOT of time on Driftmark learning how to sail and all that oceany stuff. In 120 he was allowed to join Corlys on his journey to the stones for the first time and promptly got lost and picked up by pirates, his family thought he was dead and he didn’t know where the f he was so he just spend some time living his life until in 128 AC his brother Aerion stumbles upon him in Braavos and takes him home. He never marries and is generally not a very good time to be around. Probably the most traumatized out of Vissys kids. He fights for Visenya at sea and drowns when his ship is destroyed in 130 AC, though it’s a bit of a rumor that he just when back to the stones to return to his common life.

Saeron I (106-154AC) is the older one of Vissys first twin boys, he’s the most gentle and soft spoken of her generally pretty feral kids, he’s pretty with long silver hair, violet eyes, a rather feminine face and slender but tall build. He’s found of music and poetry, which is why he is called ‘prince silver tongue’ in comparison to his twin who needs a sword to get what he wants while Saeron just talks his way round the house all day every day. He’s married to Lady Zahna Dayne, she’s a fierce woman with a sharp tongue and a liking for swordsmanship, she’s also in love with his twin, while Saeron would rather be married to her cousin Ser Aryon of his mothers kingsguard, sooo u Von imagine it’s not that great of a marriage, (they’ve been married since 126 AC, after 6 years of engagement, because no one thought they were actually gonna marry). They have have 3 children, (which might be Rhaenars…) and Saeron would def get on the insane list for being religious lunatic and self proclaimed prophet, but he’s not all that awful!

Rhaenar I (106-144AC) is the younger twin and one of my favorites to be honest, he’s taller than Saeron, slender but well trained, with long straight silver hair and Ottos blue eyes, he looks like Saeron because of the hair but he’s not as pretty. He’s his moms biggest supporter and would def have been on her kingsguard if the opportunity had been there. He’s known as ‘Silverlance’ or ‘Steelskiss’ and as you may have guessed he’s a great swordsman, but despite what the nickname suggests he can be quite charismatic and a smooth talker as well. He was in love with his aunt Rhaena III from a young age but she died before they could be together. After that he took a liking to his brothers betrothed and spend more time with her than Saeron during her visits to the Keep and Dragonstone. He married Baela (daemons daughter) in 132 and had 4 children with her. He was out fighting in 144 AC when the city was under attack and dismounted his dragon to follow an enemy into a tower, he was slain it what became known as the silver night, because it also saw the end of 2 kingsguard knights, by an unknown enemy, his body was dragged back to the red keep by ser Aryon Dayne (he’s gonna get a promotion for that) and bleed out in the man’s arms. It is very much unknown who killed him, since he was an undefeated knight (Baela burned down the part of the city in which he was killed later).

Jaehaeron I (108-130AC) was born on the step stones, since Visenya was currently fighting, Corlys had to help with the delivery cause there weren’t any midwives (he did not recover from that ever, even though he sure likes to rub it in with Otto) he strongly takes after his father in looks. Jaehaeron never married, since his mom was saving her children’s hands to make alliances. He was a decent swordsman and formidable archer. He enjoyed Sailing and during the dance he would sail up the rivers of the Vale and upon being killed in battle with a rebellious house of the vale, he is said to have come back to live twice and set sails for Dragonstone to support Baelors fleet, he didn’t make it in time, but managed to severely destroy the enemy ships before succumbing to his injuries alone on the shores of Dragonstone. Many belief that his Ghost still haunts the island and it’s castle. He is often used as a symbol of a revenge and remembered as the ghost of Dragonstone and the demon of the gullet.

Aurys I (110-157AC) was born a good 8 and a half months after Otto and Visenya split, and duo to his strong resemblance of prince Daemon there are some rumors about him being a bastard, he wears his hair at shoulder length and is the shorts of Vissys children, supposedly born prematurely. He was called ‘the small prince’ for most of his youth until he made a name for himself as a warrior, when killing three armed assassins from across the narrow sea that were tasked to kill the princes and her children, at only 12 years of age, after this he became known as ‘ser bloodnight’. He is a intelligent man and strategic advisor to his mother and later brother. He died in 157 in one of the first battles of the war of the Riverlands, falling from his dragon, and being impaled on a large lance. He was married to Rhaena IV (daemons daughter) they had only one daughter, Elaena I, who was said to be the spitting image of her father.

Okay so this took longer than I thought and it’s late so I’ll just update this with the other kids and the mad targs tomorrow cause I’m tired. okay i really got carried away and i dont mean to vent in ur asks but ur post about being uncomfortable with the way fandom misgenders sam and leans into the misogyny of the show is so relatable i had to say something on it. feel free to publish this ask or to add ur own opinion, i dont mind!

i think now i am less uncomfortable with girl sam headcanons and i even enjoy transfem sam hcs in the later seasons,, but especially when i was first joining the fandom seeing the amount of misgendering and girlifying of sam made me so bone deep uncomfortable. because i saw the way sam was degraded and feminized in canon and i related to him so much in a transmasc way instead

then to go into the fandom and see people leaning into the misgendering and calling him a woman for being a man who *checks notes* is nice to people? has long hair. likes to be clean?? felt like it was just perpetuating the sexism of the show. it felt incredibly invalidating to say the least,, and to say a lot more, it made me feel uncomfortable being trans in the spn fandom.

even now its incredibly hard to trust anyone in the spn fandom to not be transphobic or hold transphobic values. someone can have 'terfs dni' in their pinned post all they want but are they really challenging sexism, bioessentialism, or transphobia by calling men women for acting slightly feminine? are trans people supposed to be comfortable around them when they see a man with the slightest amount of ass, with a tiny bit of hip and waist visible, and pointing at him laughing and calling him a woman? (also its made worse by the fact that sams not all that feminine? hes a very masculine big buff guy. the way the show misgenders him is almost comical when paired with that fact, but the way fandom perpetuates it and doubles down on it is something else entirely.)

its hard because i understand that people are going to relate to the show differently to me. i relate to sam in a way that ties into my trans male identity. other people might relate to him and the way hes treated as feminine because of their feminine identity. to some people it could be liberating and an expression of their own identity to focus on sams femininity and i dont want to ruin or make people feel bad for enjoying that. but this fandom makes me feel like im fucking crazy for being uncomfortable with sexism and transphobia sometimes.

i completely get all of this and feel the same honestly!

one of the things that makes me relate so much to sam, whether he's written a cis man or a trans man, is that he's masculine in ways that are non-typical in the environment he's in. especially when it comes to headcanoning him as trans - it's important to me that he has these traits that can be read as feminine and has asserted his identity as a man anyway. it's important to me that he's unapologetic for the ways that he defies expectation and i'm always going to prefer headcanons that center his masculinity as a big part of his identity.

sometimes it can feel like people see the 'feminine' traits sam has and make the same jump that i used to see when it came to autistic-coded characters. feminine traits = trans woman, autistic traits = ace or agender. and while it's true for some people, i think that making that jump in every instance you see can be really disillusioning for people in that community who don't fit into those boxes. it can make you feel like there's something wrong with you for being trans in a particular direction when you still have traits that are 'typical' for your assigned gender or vice versa, or make you feel like you have to adhere to an identity that doesn't quite fit because everyone talks like it's a given for your personality. when i was younger i really did think and feel like i was ace when i wasn't because of just how many people were convinced the characters i related to were. turns out autistic people can just have very different relationships with sex and i'm very normal for an autistic person! i was never ace, i was just really disconnected with the allistic way of looking at sex.

it's the same with trans headcanons for me. a lot, and i mean a lot of characters that people think of as trans fem have been characters that for me have been huge comfort characters or kin characters, both in this fandom and in others. often for the same reasons that i personally see myself in them - those atypical traits that make me feel like oh that's a guy who's like me! - and every time i have found myself going the other way, and ending up really firm on my own trans masc headcanons. you don't have to be the dictionary definition of masculine to be a man. you can be masculine in ways that are different to what is expected of you and those ways are still just as important and valuable and manly.

again, this isn't necessarily a rebuke to trans fem sam headcanons. this shit is personal and i fully understand that. the above are my personal reasons for my headcanons and the way i am about them.

My mom, who is in her 40s came into my room asking me about a tag she saw on a romance book sale. "Tail play" She doesn't really read romance but she was looking for paranormal fiction and she does like werewolves and they all seemed to be there. Also she was looking for one of her favorite authors and hoped one or two of her books would be onsale.

This led into a really interesting conversation. See my mom is a strong Christian, and I am too. I'm a monsterlover, and a furry. (ace and sex repulsed but I do read kink focused smut because the lead up is usually much better than normal stuff.) and she was obsessed with Vampires as a teenager.

So people aren't annoyed by the length.

She says she looked up most of them, and she figured out the rest. But one, the tail one she didn't get any results from Google searches and figured I, the self proclaimed monster lover and the one who she knows has more adult friends than she has might know what Tail play is. (I use a lot more social media and have a bunch of close friends on an 18+ server, so nice to just have other adults around. I like hanging with my other teen friends but it's nice to have a break.)

She thought it might be like butt plugs, which could be, but she mentioned it was the paranormal section and I explained it's a very popular thing to make the tail an eroginous zone. It can be used well, or used as a lazy way to get a character in the mood without trying. (I actually learned about it from gacha videos when I was 14, but I didn't know that wasn't a real animal thing for a bit so I avoided touching dogs tails so they wouldn't get mad at me lmao)

She doesn't read smut, and doesn't even really like romance. At least not when it's the focus, so when she was looking around she ran unprepared into the bottom bin romance 'trash' and actual romance trash. She was shocked by all the noncon, and she said she felt a bit sick even just reading some of the descriptions of the stories. We talked about the Fantasy but also that it's weird. It's odd that so many romance books marketed to young adults feature noncon and straight up rape.

Sometimes it feels like an excuse for lazy writers to ignore any chemistry because they can just force the sex scenes. Which is. Not good.

She also stumbled upon omegaverse and I explained it to her. I don't read it myself, I respect the place it has in internet history and fandom culture but I've never liked the alpha beta omega stuff, even before the Alpha Male Bros tm came a crawling, begging for scraps of coolness. She didn't like it. She also prefers more women in her stories and omegaverse by default is mostly men.

But one of the big things to me, was when she was talking about the possessiveness in a ton of werewolf fiction. She didn't like how everything seemed to only cater to the desire to be required to stay and to be owned. To be dominated. She says she's always preferred what little romance she reads to be more equal. Which, to me isn't surprising due to how my mom is, but may to the idea of a strong protestant Christian many have in their head.

I explained it's a very popular trope. Personally? I'm 50/50 on it. I'm up for a little "be mine" and "you're all mine" but it's just so overpowering. It's hard to find the werewolf as the sub, or without the power play.

Mom and I ended up talking about our various reader woes, her in the Christian fiction and general fiction world, and I in the fanfiction and fandom world. And the monsterfiction community.

We both spoiled ourselves by reading really good books, or for me fanfiction, and good books because my father is a Sci fi buff and has a massive collection of some beautiful stories. And also I'm autistic and if I don't think a story is good near the start I can't finish it. I can't hate read anything.

My mom and I bonded over something I didn't expect, the lead up. Mom enjoys tasteful scenes, or as she says "closed door" or fade to black sex scenes. We both love the romantic tension when written well. That's why I tend to seek out kink stuff. The lead up is more necessary. But I've never really enjoyed the sex part of smut.

And worse sometimes people stop trying during the sex scenes. Like the writing quality drops because "why try the people reading already got excited, they know what to do."

I personally love reading sexual tension, I love the kissing and the rubbing and the wanting. I love reading about the hot and bothered. But I don't like reading about genitals and I never have. Kink, especially those with unusual eroginous zones tend to focus more on that. Also monster fiction, if it is with really weird monsters, will use unique situations and open up to some amazing writing. I even skim past the actual sex scenes half the time. But if you write good lead up, I'll probably give it a look.

Mom has started to develop the "pickiness" some of us fandom lovers have as she gets older, and we bonded over the wish for more of specific things without being able to find it. Me with empty tags, her with genre issues.

Because the best stuff is hard to categorize, which is cool. But it sucks! Because it's really hard to categorize and find more of. We make it work.

But I think it was a really interesting conversation.

I had a dream was some crazy crossover between Hunter x Hunter, QSMP, Hermitcraft, MCC, fuckin... Disco Elysium guy appeared (idek know them), there were some crazy twins and Kite and Kakashi were old men and became friends and drew graffiti on the walls. Guys Kite and Kakashi is like a crack friendship to me, it's like a crack skip but a friendship cuz they were so epic in my mind but also retired but still kicking ass

This was all supposedly happening during the chimera arc and qFit had this big trauma where he went swimming to the sea and there was a chimera ant but he didn't know what it was yet and it was a giant turtle all buff and scary and it almost killed him. But like afterwards some other good chimera ant found out about it and was like here you go and gave him parts of the skull of that creature and that made Fit feel better cuz it was like a whole character arc or something

There was also MCC Ace Race but with parkour and on boats? there were like 60 people and i remember i did a very cool shortcut, only to turn the wrong way at the end of it and have to do it again while other players whizzed past me, at some point i was passing Etho and Pearl who were just casually chatting and there was slime launchers it was pretty difficult but i got it first try and i came 39th (remember it's out of 60 so it's not that bad)

There were many cute Killua and Gon moments, just them being friends and all but it was more connected to the "plot" so i honestly couldn't tell you what happened

Generally it was like some sort of chimera ant apocalypse, there were massive sea creatures swimming in the sea and threatening and making loud distressing noises idk. I told the dream in complete wrong order of everything but those were just highlights soooo. Good morning everyone

there is nothing wrong with saying that someone may have more privilege for certain reasons. time and time again multiple trans men who are very far along in their transitions have spoken about experiencing male privilege.

but it is also undeniable that trans men face specific issues tailored to the fact that they are TRANS MEN. a lot of us still experience misogyny. a lot of us experience anti-man rhetoric from radfems. a lot of us experience the “men cannot be harmed. men are emotionless. in order to be a man you must be big. strong. buff. white.” and right now we are being harassed endlessly by people who refuse to accept that we’re people too. we are weak whiny hysterical women or emotionless pig men whenever it’s convenient for your arguments.

what I don’t understand is how it could possibly be wrong for men to talk about their issues. this applies to ALL men, too. if your hatred for other people goes so deep that you simply wish another human forced silence, violence, isolation, you’re part of the problem.

and I just do not understand why we cannot agree that certain things can co-exist, one is not worse or better than the other, all of it is horrible, and none of us deserve it. the alt-right are winning because of shit like this. conquer and divide.

I watched one in my filmmaking class by a local director who created a film about a Ukrainian woman who immigrated to modern-day Winnipeg. Do I remember the title? Nope. Do I want to? Nope.

This movie was filmed back in like,,, 2019 I believe, is what he said and released like last year. It's two hours and could've been easily cut down to one. Very slow, almost too slow. I liked a lot of the shots. It was interesting to watch a film where only two characters - who were in there briefly - spoke English.

So there are good things about it, but it definitely could've been way better. I felt like the writing was almost too dry, and the director didn't give us any context as to what the plot was or any warnings that were needed (nudity and a certain subject related to nudity that is unpleasant to watch, to put it nicely).

I just think we should keep cishet white north American men away from creating films with that kind of subject because they don't,,, get it. Granted, neither do I but I do have an entire family of immigrants.

Well, it was my personality psych textbook, but no more! I hope to finish @thequeenofthewinter's fic because I'm behind due to school, and after that? Well, when the term starts, one of the texts for one of my classes is "The Handmaid's Tale," and I'm VERY excited to read it.

Tacos from a place back home, and lemonade from a pop-up lemonade stand that ends up at every big event in my city back home and if I can convince my parents I'll be able to get one and won't have to wait until Stampede in July next year. It's the best damn lemonade I've ever had.

The specific tacos I'm craving are the best damn fast-food tacos I've ever had, but I've definitely had better. My sister worked at a Mexican restaurant specializing in tacos that a family member owns, for god's sake. Although, now that I'm thinking about it, I also crave those. I think I just want tacos.

                          DESPITE BEING ILLEGAL IN THE 30s, there were pubs and bars and bathhouses for gay men. Steve had visited them occasionally, but in the end, he'd been largely ignored the same way the gals tried to see past him whenever Bucky dragged him to a double date. It would be different now, Steve thinks as he watches a couple kiss passionately at the other end of the bar: a big, buff guy and a much smaller, almost petite redhead. Twink is what they call it now. Steve turns away because he doesn't want to be a creep.

                          This little hole-in-the-wall pub isn't solely for gays but for all people that identify as LGBTQ+. There is a lesbian couple playing darts with a drag queen, and a woman dressed in the colors of the ace flag collects some tequila shots from the bar to bring them to her friends. Steve thinks he likes this pub best of all the other nightclubs he's tried out so far. He might come back here. Steve finishes his whiskey and wants to slide off the barstool when his eyes flicker over to the door that's just been opened. He freezes. He's never met a familiar face in one of these clubs, but now no less than Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell walks in and looks around, and then their eyes meet, and Steve can't fake overlooking him anymore. Oh fuck, he hopes this won't be awkward. "Um — hey," Steve greets Pete when he comes to the bar.

My Gender is Trans-Masc; My Body is Trans-fem

My gender floats in a space somewhere being small fluffy soft-boy and big buff butch lesbian. However, at the moment it seems to be sitting in a space that is slightly masculine androgyny.

I mostly see this form of gender expression from female cosplayers when they cosplay male characters but I've also seen it in young trans-men and certain softer tom-boy/butch women. It is an androgyny, that while visibly presenting more male, is something uniquely tied to feminity and the female form. It is also a form of gender expression that is impossible for me.

No matter how much I style my hair and clothes, or how much hormones soften my features, I will always been 6'1" (185cm) and long limbed. I will always have those features of male puberty that I cannot escape.

Honestly... Most of the time I am happy with where my transition has taken me, but every now and again I want to reach inside my chest and rip out the version of me that perfectly fits the gender expression that I want.

What do I do?

I will never be that picture perfect enby I grew up emulating and trying to conform to. But then again, no one really is. Those that do and want to are lucky and those that are lucky get visibility.

I'm sure that just as many of them feel just as 'not quite right' as I do.

All we've got to do, is the best with the hand we were dealt and try and not feel to despondent from those with aces up their sleeves or deals with the dealer.

My gender is abstract and my body is not.

The goal is to find a balance between the two.

Perfect isn't possible, but happy is.
