What does this mean for Phee and Jin? Did Phee set out on a revenge plot but developed real feelings for Jin?
Anon, I've been obsessed with this show since the very first episode, and I have never been on the "Phi and Jin are end game" ship because I think that
Jin had to be the worst of them.
Tumblr media
Recap:
I wrote that Phi was sus af in the very first episode, and one reason was because he didn't hear the noise that Jin heard.
Tumblr media
This happens again when Jin and Phi are running from the masked killer, and Jin is the only one to see a bloody Mr. Keng.
Tumblr media
Some people are defending Fluke's actions because he didn't actively do anything to harm Non, but he also knew about the broken camera and said nothing, so I think whatever Jin did was even worse. He couldn't just have known about the bad stuff happening to Non. He must have also intentionally turned a blind eye and LEFT Non, which is exactly what Phi subtly calls him out on in the first episode, and probably why Jin is leaving Thailand for good.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because I also mentioned that these boys have known each other longer than we were told in the first episode. The boys said Tan and Phi came AFTER Non disappeared, but I think Jin knew Phi way back in the tutoring days, but hadn't realized Phi knew Non since Jin said Mr. Keng's name like Phi knew who that was (because Phi probably went to tutoring too and that's how he "met" Jin).
Tumblr media
I think White is gonna be the final gay, and Tan is the second killer because one of them has to be Non's brother, no? But I think it's Tan because homie always got twenty million questions and White wasn't even supposed to be on this trip.
Tumblr media
Either way, Jin has never been on my "gonna live to the end" even though Jin is the main character,
Tumblr media
And he already wrote his end. All the boys are dying the way they forced Non to change the script, which is why Phi is following Non's script this time around. He is making sure these boys get what they asked for. Hell, even the driver was the first to die in the original film, and was the first to die in the present, and Fluke watched Non's fall into hell at the hands of Tee and Top, and now he is being tasked with watching his friends as they die.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once again, I think Jin was the worst because he acted as Non's protector and he started having feelings for Non,
Tumblr media
Yet Jin might have betrayed Non somehow since Phi dropped this line in the coffin.
Tumblr media
And Phi seems to have strung Jin along for a bit, which makes me believe that Phi is giving Jin a taste of his own medicine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tan asked Phi if Phi and Jin were "better" and Phi said that Jin won't even look at his face, and I feel that is pivotal to this plot. Phi wants Jin to trust him . . . the same way Non trusted Jin?
Tumblr media
In the original film, Jin and Non were running away from the masked killer, and Jin left Non behind. It was just a film, but maybe, perhaps, possibly, Jin really left Non behind somewhere.
Tumblr media
Phi has been playing the long con with these boys, so this shit is hella personal. If Phi was with Non and wanted more with Non, yet was doing the devil's tango at one point with Jin, I truly feel that Phi is committed to having Jin care about him.
Tumblr media
Just so he can be the one to betray him.
Tumblr media
*applying clown makeup* Jin fucked up big time somehow, and Phi has been playing him the longest because he wants Jin to feel every bit of pain he caused Non.
Tumblr media
What did you do, Jin? What. Did. You. Do?

If the Outlanders were to have YouTube channels what videos would they post on there?
Good question! My pal, Spinny, answered this question before, so it’s about time I do my version.
I think it’d be funny if the Outlanders showed one big channel where they perform various skits, play video games with dares to make them more interesting, and even write songs/music videos. Basically the animal version of Smosh lmao. The hyenas also do a lot of “Try not to Laugh” videos
Also I can’t help but imagine Kenge having a separate gaming channel where he just rages every time a game screws him over. Whether or not the game is just rigged or he’s just bad at it, his subscribers will never know but they find it hilarious. And yes, he has broken controllers

Did you see Ta’s Live? He says that from Phee’s perspective, Non cheated on him. Jin posting the video was bad but Non being in the video was worse for Phee. There was definitely complexity and nuance around this situation that is lost on a lot of people.
From the audience perspective we know it’s grooming but not from the characters.
Oh yeah I saw, twitter has been on fire since then because Non fans are attacking Ta over it 😮‍💨
Ta confirmed what I suspected about Phee's characterization - that he viewed Non as cheating on and betraying him, and from his point of view the view wasn't "that bad" because it showed him the truth of the situation and revealed Non's lies to him. Which is shitty of course because Non was in a sucky situation, but does add a lot of nuance to his character and his connection with Jin.
I was just talking to another friend about how I looked up the revenge porn laws in Thailand. And BIG DISCLAIMER that I can only research things in English so I don't know that I fully understand, but from what I gathered there weren't laws against it up until recently (the last few years) and even then the laws aren't really enforced often. Which is shitty because the laws were made because someone had a video posted and then k!lled herself afterwards...
But I feel like that, plus the age of consent difference, plus the generalized attitude of Thailand about sex (them having big issues with prostitution and coercion especially of minors) kind of explain why the characters react SO differently to the international audience.
Anyway, it rings true for me. I think in a lot of ways Non's biggest betrayal wasn't sleeping with Keng, it was lying about it. Because I think if he told the truth to Phee when Phee caught them the first time, Phee would've forgiven him and been on his side. But he didn't. He lied and manipulated Phee, and then Phee found out about it.... and that was really the end of them.
Mostly I just feel bad because Ta is getting hate for what he said on Twitter, when to me it's just character insights. But yes! It was good to hear his thoughts.
Thanks for the message! 💕

After rewatching episode 8 with cool mind and without the emotions that accompanied me the first time, I already know what triggered me so much that I have such a problem accepting the fact that they lied to the police:
it's actually not even about the fact that they lied to the police that Non didn't go with them
it's about how actively they worked to mislead the police, and therefore Non's parents, into Non's elopement with Keng, which btw, only Tee AND JIN did
and although this is understandable when it comes to Tee, who is now, without realizing it, a member of the mafia literally covering up their crimes...
...Jin didn't have to do it. When the cop says that Jin is said to be the closest to Non, Jin could have said "um, not really". And what he ABSOLUTELY DID NOT HAVE TO DO was answer the next question: "what is the possibility that Non ran away with Mr. Keng?" Jin might have said "I don't know, I didn't know him that well, I didn't know they were close until this video came out". What does Jin do? He not only lies, he creates an additional alternative reality, something that has no use for HIM, so he absolutely, absolutely NEVER had to do it
even taking into account the fear of corrupt police, which I doubt (I'll get back to it later), THERE IS STILL NON'S FAMILY, left without Non and without answers as to where he is
What triggers me so much is not that they lied to the police, but HOW they lied, especially Tee and Jin. The potential fear of the police (and the real fear of the consequences) could only be limited to "he wasn't with us, we don't know where he is." But Tee AND JIN did something extra, something specifically misleading and ruining Non's reputation, his life and his future, especially if they live in the illusion that nothing bad happened and Non is alive.
THAT'S WHY I'M WAITING FOR THE SCENE WHEN THEY AGREE HOW TO TESTIFY TOGETHER. Why? Because I'm pretty sure that Tee made them all believe that Non was taken by Keng and they ran away together and it will look bad FOR THEM that Non was with them at that time and used them as a cover for his parents (we can only guess how Por and Fluke will be the first to jump in and lie so as not to ruin their already damaged reputation with another scandal and new problems with their parents and a precious future in medicine). This would also explain Jin's behaviour, who has a very romantic view of love and who first recorded Non "as a punishment because he cheated on his boyfriend", and now thinks that maybe, since Non actually ran away with Keng, maybe THIS was a real love. And what he says may even be an attempt to excuse Non that he is not a bad boy, but that he ran away with his beloved. Tee telling them this would also explain the boys' behavior at the beginning of the series, why Por, Fluke and especially Jin think that Non is alive but doesn't want anything to do with them and why Tee and Top were the first ones to think that Non was dead and is the ghost because they were the last who saw Non and know perfectly well, that he wasn't taken by Keng at all.
But at this point, knowing what we know, Tee and Jin's behavior is indefensible, and while yes, ACAB, let's not forget about Non's family. That's why I have such a big problem with it. Because their testimony wasn't "I don't know, I don't remember, he wasn't with us, thank you, goodbye", but to turn Non into a whore running away with his teacher in a nationwide sex scandal. And then jointly parasitizing his work. That's why I'm counting on more information about it, why they did it 🙂
And I am 99.99% convinced that they did not lie to the police because they are afraid of them, I don't believe that a bunch of 17-year-old more or less morons and bullies are cynical, jaded citizens fully aware of the socio-economic status and sociological nuances of living in a society. After all, even Phee, who is a son of a cop, is actually surprised that his father can't do anything for Non. No, I'm convinced they lied to the police to protect their own asses. There is no fear of corrupt police here, there is fear of CONSEQUENCES and a desperate attempt to move away from the "Non problem".
Of course, I could be completely wrong 🤭😄

I really like Kenge you guys
Tumblr media
Tumblr ate the image quality :(
name: Vurugu Kuuma
age: 18
pronouns: they/them
height: 6' 3"
dorm: Savannaclaw
Signature Spell: Big Bad Lizard - Allows the user to cause paralysis via terror, scaring people so bad they freeze until the user deactivates.
A scrappy, confrontational beastman who rarely speaks, mostly communicating through grunts, growls, and body language. They're incredibly insecure, remarks on their size, gender, appearance, or otherwise, are met with either a swift bite or retaliation via their signature spell. Their bite, while not quite venomous enough to cause paralysis, is quite painful.

Episode 9 Thoughts
It took me a while to actually sit down long enough to write this but I just really want to jut my thoughts down before ep10 supplies us with new information.
Tan is New!
We’re now finally introduced to Non’s older brother, but we were also shown just how their bond as siblings was not that good before Non disappeared, but it’s not because he doesn’t love him or anything like that. New love his brother and we were shown that when he tried to mend their relationship before he left for England and how sincere his promise to Non was that he’ll bring him the best snacks when he comes back. (This hits close to home because food has always been a love language for me)
My heart just broke for New this episode. He lost so much in such a short period of time. He lost his brother, he lost his scholarship (as he did not return to England), he lost hia parents, he lost his Dad’s trust in him in his last moments and he lost himself to be Tan.
The part where he was hallucinating Non and asking for forgiveness was just heart breaking. The way he said it, was just full of pain.
Tumblr media
And the snacks! He really did brought snacks as he promised. Just how devastating it must’ve felt to go home and find out your baby brother want missing and the police weren’t helping at all, they were even trying to close the case and labeling your brother as a runaway.
Phee’s savior complex
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing but his character comes off as that one hero that would try and save everybody. When he said to Non that there’s no problem he can’t solve, I think that really showed how he is as a character. He’s upright, dependable and a believer of justice, a classic hero.
I won’t be surprised if he actually tries to save the rest of the people in the cabin once they get there. At this point I doubt he knew all of Tan’s plan. He probably just thought they’d drug them and then they’d spill the beans on what really happened to Non.
Phee caring for Jin is not really that far off. I could see that happening. Him and Tan/New didn’t know yet what each of the boys did, they know the group collectively were jerks and bullies but what they did individually to Non, they probably don’t know everything yet. I’m curious to know how Phee would deal with the news if it’s revealed that Jin really did spread the video.
Theory
I believe that Non is still alive. And I think that’s where Perth’s character will come to light. I think he has a big role to play in the show, he may even be the one helping Tan with the plan.
I think Tan already anticipated that Phee might have feelings for Jin, so he didn’t tell him all of the plan. Like he intentionally left stuff out, when he said the drugs will not kill them, it really felt like he knew they’d get crazy enough to kill each other but they will not OD.
Tumblr media
The smirk at the end feels a lot like Tan/New basking in the chaos. I don’t blame him. After all, the most dangerous person is the one with nothing to lose.
Tumblr media
Overall, it’s really now gearing up for the climax. Almost every backstory has been told, except for White’s and what happened to Keng and Non that faithful day. It’s probably going to be messy.

Transmigrator heals a reincarnation revenge story
#F5: Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle (Maoujou de Oyasumi)
Tiny princess torments an entire castle of demons for sleep
Details and poll under the cut!
Tumblr media
#F7: There’s a Pit in my Senior Martial Brother’s Brain (Wo Jia Dashixiong Naozi You Keng)
Official English title: What’s Wrong With My Big Brother Alt Title: My Dashixiong Has a Pit in His Brain
youtube
Summary:
Dongfang Xianyun transmigrates as the eldest disciple of the Care-free sect. But the only thing that goes through his mind is to make sure he doesn’t end up dying by the hands of the “main character.” He believes he’s just a side character. He just wants to relax and survive all the mayhem surrounding him while dealing with one of his jealous sect teammates, who grew corrupted in the past life.
Propaganda:
This series is kind of insane but also just a lot of fun! The thing is, the shidi (junior martial sect brother), Yin Feixing, felt betrayed by his dashixiong (eldest senior sect brother), Dongfang Xianyun, after he was seemingly rejected for ending up studying the demonic arts. After he dies, he decides to take revenge in the next life, and this is where our story starts off…
The only problem is his dashixiong has been replaced by a transmigrator. And our new Dongfang Xianyun is not as cold or uptight as the past dashixiong (but as the story unravels, was he even that bad?); rather, this version is silly and goofy and fun. And because he believes wholeheartedly that Yin Feixing is the protagonist, he doesn’t act the way a dashixiong is expected to—but it’s in this silliness that one can find sincerity…
So as Yin Feixing exacts his revenge, turning Dongfang Xianyun into a demonic arts practitioner, Dongfang Xianyun’s new soul means he won’t follow the same path as Yin Feixing. Rather than fall to ruins like Yin Feixing, his empathy and creativity means he challenges this entire world by making his fellow demonic practitioners into law-abiding heroes, even as people hate him for the demonic arts. So as multiple plots unfurl, we get a pretty emotional, thematically interesting story, even amidst all the (very funny) crazy comedy, and a clever parody of xianxia* and other transmigration stories. 😆
(*Xianxia (仙侠 xiānxiá) – literally means “Immortal Heroes”. Fictional stories featuring magic, demons, ghosts, immortals, and a great deal of Chinese folklore/mythology. Protagonists (usually) attempt to cultivate to Immortality, seeking eternal life and the pinnacle of strength. Heavily inspired by Daoism. Source)
Oh, and Gong Changsheng is best puppy! He’s such a good sunflower boy with the biggest crush on Dongfang Xianyun, and I love them so much. I think lots of others will love them too if they gave this series a chance. 🥺
The slightly evolving names for each season are fun too:
S1: 我家大师兄脑子有坑 (My Dashixiong Has a Pit in His Brain (aka “he’s really dumb/ridiculous”))
S2: 我家大师兄是个反派 (My Dashixiong Is a Villain)
S3: 我家大师兄有点靠谱 (My Dashixiong Is a Bit Reliable)
(Plus, besides the original manhua, there’s a fun chibi OVA where the cast are like actors!)
Trigger Warnings: Graphic Depictions of Cruelty/Violence/Gore. The donghua isn’t as intense as the manhua, but there is one character who flirts in a somewhat creepy manner.
Tumblr media
#F5: Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle (Maoujou de Oyasumi)
youtube
Summary:
The Demon Lord Tasogare’s castle is a dark and frightening place, filled to the brim with various monsters. Any soul unfortunate enough to be imprisoned here is sure to be terrified by the horrors within. However, the human princess Aurora Suya Rhys “Syalis” Kaymin is a different case. Rather indifferent to her situation, Syalis worries about one thing and one thing only—sleep. Ever since the demon lord kidnapped her from her kingdom, she has not had a single good night’s rest.
To alleviate her dozen dozing issues, the princess makes do with what she can find in the castle. Whether it be the fur of fluffy demonic teddy bears or the silky, blanket-like bodies of ghost shrouds, everything is but a means to ensure a peaceful slumber. With so many potential materials to craft items that can help her sleep at her disposal, nothing will stop the sleepy princess—not even death.
Propaganda 1:
This show is probably the single most charming parody of a fantasy RPG setting I’ve ever seen. It takes an extremely generic premise and flips it on its head with a simple shift in protagonist. The characters are all fun in their own right, but Princess Suya steals the show through extreme slapstick violence against her captors and a nonchalant attitude towards literally everything that isn’t immediately related to sleep. While it’s easy for a plot like this to quickly become comedically stale, the show is careful to avoid exhausting its premise by introducing new characters that serve as unique obstacles to Suya’s goals as well as by ramping up the audacity of her actions. Additionally, we get occasional glimpses at the hero’s party as they quest to ‘rescue’ the princess, scenes that serve both as story progression as well as a nice change of pace from the princesses antics. While the premise may not be for everyone, this show executes on its concept flawlessly for anyone who finds the premise amusing.
Propaganda 2:
The art style is cute and the character designs are quite pleasant and even the side characters are entertaining. the main character is tiny princess with purple hair and pronouns who’s actually glad to have been kidnapped by the demon king because she gets sleep but oh no, the bedsheets suck and the pillow feels cheap. She goes to find material for new bedding and pillow and ends up tormenting several demons.
Trigger Warnings: None.

Episode 38
Tumblr media
Thabang and I are leaving today for Tamia’s wedding. But first, I have a meeting or date or something nyana nje with MmaKB. She asked that she and I do lunch and drinks before Thabang and I leave.
I’ve packed my bags, Thabang’s bags and my children’s bags - including Meme. After my meeting with MmaKB, we are leaving. I’m leaving to meet up with her using my Tucson. We will be travelling in the X5. That’s the one that Thabang will load then we leave.
We’ve also moved into our new house. It’s a very nice house. It’s a six-bedroom double story house in Taung. I love the house. I did sell my house in the township. Tshenolo is in a new crèche that’s quite close to home. Meme and Mosetsana have moved to a new school - one school. It’s the school that is honestly quite up there with education. It’s the school that the royal twins went to as well. All of Thabang’s kids go to school there.
The other two kids - Mahali’s kids - are currently living with MmaKB so they can go to school. But every weekend and holiday, they are with Thabang’s mother in Dithabeng.
I arrive at Reahile, where MmaKB and I are meeting. She’s already here, having wine and eating a salad.
“Hey. I’m sorry I’m late. The packing took longer than expected”, I say as I sit down at the table.
“No worries. How are you? You look good.” She says.
“Thank you. Ke shup hey. How are you?”
“I’m good. Look, I won’t keep you for too long. I know that the road to Mpumalanga is quite long and ahead of you. I’ll get to the point. I want to chat to you about possibly living with Mahali’s kids while she’s away.”
Hai guys! What is this?!
She sees that I am taken aback and hears my soft chuckle. Because really, WTF?!
“Is it a problem?” She asks me.
“Yes, it is a problem, Mmakabelo.”
“What is the problem? Those kids are Thabang’s kids. Despite your feeling about mme wabona, you must still love them because they are Thabang’s kids... just like Thabang loves your kids.”
I knew she’d take it there. And I’m not offended shame. I’m comfortable with where my kids are with Thabang.
“You think you are clever wena, neh?! O nahana ho re o bohlale wena. You think I don’t see what you are doing?”
“What am I doing, Morafe? Please, enlighten me.”
“You know very well that Mahali doesn’t like me. As a mother, I don’t think you’d ever be comfortable with your kids staying with someone that you don’t like or trust. I know I wouldn’t be comfortable with it at all. But here you are, creating further tension between Mahali and I. For you, what’s happening between Mahali and I is a joke… a film you want to sip wine and watch while you appear to be the peaceful wife and the problem solver. You are actually a shit-starter wena.”
She becomes upset now. Then she says, “I think you have no idea how a polygamous marriage works.”
“So, o tlo yetsang? Send me back home to learn? Akere that’s what you are good at doing? And then do what with my children? Pawn them off to someone I’d never even pay to be their babysitter for five seconds?”
“I sent Mahali home so that you and Thabang could enjoy the first few months of your marriage. If she were here, we both know that she would have shown you flames.”
“I don’t need you to protect me from Mahali. Please, don’t do me any favours. I can handle Mahali. She’s not the big bad wolf that will huff and puff and blow my house down.”
“I do what is best for this family.”
“Don’t you get tired? To be so invested in everything that has got to do with Thabang’s penis? Don’t you crave for him to just hold you and fuck you without thinking about nna or Mahali? Do you ever enjoy Thabang’s penis inside of you? Or are you always in COO mode that you don’t have time to even buy lingerie that will excite him? Keng? Sex ya lona ke “get it out of the way” fela?”
Now she’s really angry.
“The answer is no, Mmakabelo. I will not live with Mahali’s kids. As the senior wife, I’m sure that’s more in your job-spec than it is mine. And please, don’t ever stress about my marriage. I know how to handle and manage my husband within the capacity of my marriage.”
“If you don’t take the kids, Mahali comes back.” She says.
“Tell her I said welcome back.” I say then I leave.
Wahlanya oe!
-
My family and I are now on the road. I can just tell that MmKB spoke to Thabang. He is very weird nje. And I’m very keen to hear what she said. I don’t trust her. I just don’t. And she doesn’t want me as an enemy. I’m also annoyed and Thabang can also see it. I think we are just waiting for the last kid to pass out then we are chatting. Tshenolo is already out. Mosetsana is halfway there. Meme is listening to music, but she’s also dozing off.
“Mmakabelo phoned me”, he says.
“I figured that she would.” I say.
“You want to tell me your version of the story?”
“There’s not much to tell. She wants me to live with Mahali’s kids. I told her that I wouldn’t do it.”
“Why not? You know that they are my kids too, right? So, you don’t love my kids?”
“Really Thabang? Seriously?”
He’s quiet.
“Yoh! Mmakabelo o tletse masepa. Honestly”, I say.
“What did you say?”
“I said what I said! And you are full of shit too for not seeing right through her. How do you not see it? She’s not the COO you think she is. What sense does it make that I look after her kids? Mahali and I don’t get along. If Mmakabelo is the peaceful maker she claims to be, she should stay with them because Mahali gets along better with her than she does with me. Can you imagine what will happen if she comes back and finds her kids with me? I would never forgive you if you passed my kids onto someone I don’t like. No mother would. These are the facts. And wena you are going to play the “my kids card” the exact way that she did.”
He’s silent.
“You know what, Thabang… Mmakabelo is your COO in your marriage with her. She doesn’t run shit in my marriage with you. You and I discuss our things. Mmakabelo doesn’t run shit here. I don’t run shit in her house or her marriage with you. She’s definitely not about the peace that she insists she wants in the family. If she wants to start shit with Mahali, she must leave me out of it. But I will not be a pawn in her little chess game where she watches shit pop off between Mahali and I, then she gets to be the peaceful one. I’ve figured her out. Maybe it’s time you did too. And this whole thing of her sending Mahali away for me…. For us… it’s bullshit. But if it’s really for us, tell her to bring Mahali back. Her kids need her.”
He’s silent.
I just look away as we drive on.
It’s 2am when we arrive at the lodge that we will be staying at. Everyone is staying here from what I understand. The white wedding will also be here the day after tomorrow. I’m still quite irritated at Thabang.
After he parks the car, I climb out of the car. I wake Meme up as I open the door where the kids are.
“We here?” She asks me.
“Yeah. Let’s go in and sleep. We will unpack in the morning.” I say to her.
She yawns then nods at me.
I see Thabang has Mosetsana in his arms already. I take Tshenolo and put him in my arms.
Our chalet has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. I settle Tshenolo in one room after changing him into pyjamas. I put Mosetsana in another bedroom after changing her into pyjamas. Meme settles herself in. But I do go and say goodnight anyway. They are all passed out in no time. Now, Thabang and I are in the room allocated to us. I’m still not talking to him. He is unsure of how to be.
“Baby”.
“No, Thabang. I’m not going to talk about your other wives tonight. I’m here with my husband and unless we are going to focus on us, I don’t want to hear it.”
“I just want to say that I understand where you are coming from. I’ve heard you and I’ll sort this out. You won’t live with the kids.”
I look at him.
“Thank you.” I say.
“And I’m sorry that I accused you of not loving my kids.” He says.
“T, you have to realise that women don’t like each other. At all. And none of us will ever do anything as a favour to the other. We are all fighting to be perfect in your eyes. We share a penis. We would never like each other. Ever! You need to understand that. And sometime, you need to step away from a situation for five minutes and ask yourself if what you’ve discussed with your COO or any of us is for the benefit of this family. Your COO is not always going to get it right. Her intentions are not as pure as you think.”
He nods his head.
“I also want to say thank you”, him.
“For?”
“Mom tells me that you go see her very often. That’s special to me. And I love your relationship with her.” He says.
“I learn a lot from her. I love picking her brain and I genuinely enjoy her company. Plus, I trust her to keep me in check. She can be honest because you know… she’s not sharing a penis with us.”
He laughs then says, “Wow!”
I strip for him.
He watches me closely.
I’m now in my red and lacy underwear.
“T, only you will protect me in this marriage. Not the COO. Not anyone else. I need you to always pull through for me. For us. For our family. I can trust you, right?”
Now I’m on top of him.
He is pulling my panties down.
“I got you. I love you. You are the only woman I’ve ever loved like this. I’ll protect you with my all.” He tells me.
I’m now riding him like a bull! My work is done here! And best believe that Mmakabelo will pay for this!
Tumblr media
I’m so happy that this woman is my wife. Morafe is all that I need. I’m glad that she doesn’t give me ultimatums that involve divorcing the other two because she has me so pussy-whipped that I’d probably do it.
We just woke up and she woke me up with a blowjob. Yoh! You know, Morafe knows how to serve me sexually. She touches me in places that my other two wives are sometimes too scared to touch me in. She knows how to fuck me. Sex with her is a shared experience. It’s not just me doing all the work while she just lies there. Sometimes, she makes me scream. And I love it. I love her.
Now, I’m fucking her against the window. She’s not scared that someone will see us. She embraces it. Both our asses are out there and if anyone is looking, we are giving them a show.
She screams. I moan with a hint of a scream.
Good morning.
Morafe is now getting the kids ready for the wedding. We quickly showered together, then she got back into a gown so that she could finish up with the kids. I’m all showered and lotioned up, but I’m wrapped in a towel lying on my back… recovering from last night and this morning. My penis is very happy with me.
Let me actually phone Mmakabelo and solve this issue between her and Morafe. To be honest, I hear both of their views. It’s just that Morafe has made me view things a little differently. Mmakabelo would have never been on my suspect list for trying to start shit. But the way that Morafe made me view Mmakabelo’s intentions has now made me question every decision she ever took… like sending Mahali away for six months. Even my mother thought that it was an extreme consequence for just being hurt that I was getting remarried. But the way that Mmakabelo positioned it to Mahali made it seem as if this was for Morafe. Now, Morafe has her sent away for six months then looks after her kids. It does almost seem as if Morafe is trying to take her place OR Morafe is suddenly the new wife in charge, making Mmakabelo less of a threat to Mahali thus Mahali ends up being an issue for Morafe; ‘dangerous’ as Mmakabelo puts it. It’s as if she’s planting the danger herself then she will appear as if she warned me that it would happen when something bad actually happens.
“Hello?”
“Mmakabelo, ujwang?” Me.
“I’m fine, Mothipa. I wasn’t expecting your call.”
“It won’t be long. Morafe won’t live with Mahali’s kids.” I say.
She starts giggling in disbelief.
“You are already making this woman unclear of her place in this marriage, Mothipa.”
“I think you are the one that’s unclear of your place in this marriage.”
“Excuse me?”
“I’m the husband here. My role is to protect all of my wives. Now that I’ve heard what Morafe has to say, I’m questioning a lot of your intentions… not just with her, but with Mahali too.”
“What did this woman feed you, Mothipa? Mahali was right about her!”
“The point is… you will live with those kids. And you will not bring Mahali back. I’ll deal with Mahali moving forward. Until further notice, you live with the kids. Am I clear?”
“Mothipa! Stop this! Keng ka wena?!”
I hang up.
“The kids are done and breakfast is ready. I’m quickly applying my makeup and getting dressed neh”, Morafe says, pouncing around our bedroom.
She’s so beautiful.
I just smile at her.
I also get up from this bed and start getting dressed. I’m just wearing some chinos with a siSwati pattern shirt. It has siSwati prints, but is mostly linen itself.
As soon as I’m done getting dressed, tying my sneakers’ laces and all, I head to the kitchen. The kids are eating and chatting. Meme is feeding Tshenolo.
“Good morning, everyone”, I greet them.
“Morning!” They all greet me.
“Did everyone sleep good?”
“We did.” Mosetsana says.
I see Meme giving me looks. I take it she heard Morafe and I last night. But she mustn’t get familiar with me. We are not friends.
“Your food is in the warmer. I will just quickly get it for you.” Meme says as she heads to the warmer and gets me the food.
She puts the plate of a full breakfast in front of me. This looks so good!
“I can pour you juice. Or do you want coffee?” Mosetsana asks me.
“Juice will be good, baby girl. Thank you.” I say.
She pours me juice.
Tshenolo comes to sit on top of me. I take his plate from Meme and feed him while I eat.
I worry about this boy. I really do. He’s very emotionally needy. If it’s not me, it’s his mother. When we are both not around, it’s Mosetsana. I’ve told Morafe that we need to consider therapy or something for him. He might be more affected by his crazy father than what we think. Mosetsana can at least express herself, so we generally know what’s going on with her. Tshenolo is definitely different. He’s quiet, but attaches to people that he trusts.
“I want to wear makeup like mommy. I want to be pretty like her. She says I’m not allowed yet. When will I be allowed, papa?” Yoh, it’s so early for Mosetsana’s grilling.
“Why do you want to wear makeup? It’s for adults, baby girl.” I ask her.
“I want to be pretty like mommy. Mommy is so beautiful.”
“But you are beautiful. Gorgeous. I won’t cope if you get makeup.”
“Why?”
“Because boys will always be looking at you. I’m going to start killing people. No boys should be looking at my baby girl. No ways.”
She’s in stitches. So is Meme.
“I’ll help you, papa.” Tshenolo says.
I fist-pump him.
She’s still laughing.
“Okay guys, I’m ready.” Morafe… the stunner… yoh!
I’m still picking my bottom lip up from the floor.
“Wow! Wow mommy! You look wow!” Mosetsana.
“Let me take a picture! First of the parents, then with the kiddies.” Meme.
Meme takes pictures of us.
Wandi is the one who knocks on our door and tells us it’s time to go… now, we bounce.
The wedding
I actually don’t understand half of the things happening here. It’s just really hot. But thank God we are in a tent. Mosetsana is sitting on top of me and Tshenolo is sitting on top of Morafe. She’s cuddling Tshenolo. Mosetsana is playing games on my cellphone. Morafe and I are holding hands. This is actually beautiful.
The Khumalo family are gifting the Maphumulo family. Everyone is dressed in siSwati… except for the Maphumulos. They came here is their isiZulu outfits and are not prepared to change for shit.
Now, there are speeches. But at least we are having lunch as these speeches are being said. The food is really nice. The mother is really happy shame. She tells Tamia that she must go and build at the Maphumulo home, not tare anything apart. She tells Tamia that when she gets there and finds children that belong to her husband, she better not say things such as “I didn’t come here with children”. She must embrace those children, feed them and be their mother. From what Morafe has told me, that’s exactly what Tamia has done. But it’s good that her family is encouraging this and not saying her daughter is too good for that. She says that this is now a grandparents’ home for all of Ntuthuko’s kids. They must feel at home.
The dad is very emotional. He just says that the Maphumulo family need to understand that they are taking his ONLY princess. So, they must please not see a daughter-in-law in her, they must see a princess… a queen.
I look at the happy couple. They will not stop looking at each other. Ntuthuko is looking at Tamia like he’d be having sex with her if it weren’t for all of us. But she does look gorgeous. He looks good too.
The dad now gives Ntuthuko a gift. Inside the wrapped box - as it is being opened in front of us now - is a key to the house. The dad explains that it symbolises that he is home now. He can come by any time and feel at home. The other gadget is a suit jacket and it’s really nice. With this gift, he now has a seat at the family table to have important conversations about the family as he is now the son in this family. This is really beautiful. The last gift is another key… we all look behind us. It’s a seven-seater Range Rover Velar. It’s gold in colour. That’s his gift to his only son-in-law to ask him to look after his princess and also welcome him in the family as his son. Ntuthuko is very happy. We are all cheering because this is very nice. Ntuthuko and the dad hug each other. Tamia is incredibly happy.
They now call up Ntuthuko’s kids. They are nowhere to be found. They are playing with their newfound cousins… the kids to Tamia’s brothers. In their absentia, they are also given welcome to the family gifts. I think this is really beautiful.
Finally, Ntuthuko’s parents now speak. They thank the Khumalo family for being so good to them and for welcoming their son so beautifully. They thank the Khumalo family for such a beautiful bride who was clearly raised right. They promise to look after her… to be good to her… and to treat her like the queen that she is. Their speech is short and sweet.
Now there are dancers performing while we enjoy dessert. Ntuthuko’s kids come and get Mosetsana and Tshenolo from us, saying they are going to play. We let them go play. They are more than excited to leave us. We don’t know where Meme went. But we are happy she found people to hang out with. Before we know it, people are partying and dancing. Morafe leads me to the dance floor. Now she and I are dancing together. I can’t even dance, but I’m having fun.
My phone rings. It’s Mmakabelo.
“I’ll give you some space”, she says. She saw my caller ID. I kiss her. She walks to say hi to her friends.
I find a quieter spot.
“Hello.”
“So, this is how it’s going to be now? You will be disrespecting Mahali and I now?”
“What are you on about?”
“Those photos on Meme’s instagram.”
“On Meme’s what?”
“Social media. She posted pictures of you, Morafe and her kids. We don’t do things like that. Why are you allowing that girl to change things in our marriage like this? This is inappropriate, Thabang.”
“I don’t know what you are talking about. But if it’s just photos, I don’t see what the problem is.”
“Thabang, you have girlfriends everywhere. You think we don’t know? Those girls will see these pictures, be triggered to comment and cause chaos. The next thing we are a running joke and a topic for everyone across the world. People will dig into our lives and we will no longer have privacy. Morafe is not your only wife. Please think about our privacy too.”
“Yerrr! Mmakabelo, just relax! Please! And I stopped seeing other women when Morafe and I got together. You don’t need to worry about that.”
She’s quiet.
“Hello?”
“Morafe made you stop seeing other women?” She asks this as if she’s disappointed.
“I just figured I have my hands full with three wives. If you also want to post pictures of us on social media, feel free. I’ve never stopped you before. Now please… relax. I have to go.”
I hang up.
“Everything okay?” Morafe asks me.
“Mmakabelo says Meme posted our pictures on insta-something. So, she was upset.”
“She follows Meme on instagram?”
“I’m the only person who doesn’t know what that is?”
“Am I not allowed to have pictures of us on socials?” She asks me.
“I told her to chill. She can post pictures too if she wants.”
“This isn’t a problem, is it?” She asks me.
“It isn’t. Did I tell you that you look amazing today?” I say.
“You didn’t tell me.” She says seductively.
“You look amazing”, I say… heading for a kiss.
She lets me kiss her.
I hear a flash and a light hits us aggressively. I hope it’s not another picture that will end up on insta-what what.

Outlanders episode/fanfic idea
Body swap/position swap with the leaders (except Jasiri, she’s safe lol)
1. The position swap is pretty simple. Janja, Reirei, Kiburi, and Mzingo are all arguing on who has the most responsibilities. Sick of the arguing and bragging about everyone’s problems, Jasiri decides everyone needs to walk in each other’s shoes and orders the others to switch places. Janja switches places with Kiburi and Reirei switches with Mzingo. Shupavu and Njano get to watch all the leaders suffer and realize leading the different groups isn’t as easy as they thought
2. The body swap is the more fun version. The problem’s basically the same, except there’s a shooting star involved. Upon seeing it, Madoa is like “Wow! A shooting star! Make a wish, Jasiri!” and Jasiri half-jokingly says “Lol I wish everyone would get to walk in each other’s footsteps”. Little does she know, the leaders wake up trapped in different bodies. And thus, hilarity ensues.
- Janja: Janja thinks ruling over the crocs is a piece of cake since Tamka and Nduli are basically Chungu and Cheezi as crocodiles. Little does he know, it’s a lot harder than it looks, since Janja has to learn how to fight as a reptile while also making sure he gets enough water. I like to think Janja would try to spar with Tamka or Nduli, only to have his tail handed to him
- Kiburi: Kinda similar to Janja while he gets used to being a mammal, but he’s pulling through. However, he’s GOT to teach the other hyenas how to fight cuz during a sparring match, he whooped everybody’s tails. Now it’s up to the rest of the clan to teach Kiburi how to loosen up
- Reirei: Reirei is not doing well as a bird. She may be good at being a mother and the voting isn’t so bad, but she cannot eat an already decaying animal for her life. And it takes about all day to learn how to fly properly
- Mzingo: He’s raised Janja and his clan pretty much their whole lives, he’s sure he can handle a litter of pups and teenagers, right? …….Right? Well, not si much. Turns out his parliamentary rules don’t really work with jackal pups. And on top of that, Goigoi keeps forgetting Mzingo isn’t really Reirei and keeps trying to kiss him (Mzingo may be gay but Goigoi is NOT his type) 😭
Not even the skinks are safe, cuz Shupavu and Njano have switched with Kenge and Sumu hfhfgf. I guess bc they thought Kenge and Sumu’s lives were easier just cuz they had venom to protect themselves
- Shupavu in Sumu’s body: Shupavu was confident Sumu’s life was easy (save for his lack of friends when he was a child) cuz of the stinger. What she DIDN’T realize was that apparently, her new stinger could come off easily and not affect certain predators like hornbills and baboons. She also learns that like Ushari’s venom, Sumu’s venom is rather precious to him and she has to be careful not to use it too much
- Njano in Kenge’s body: I think Njano is the only one who loves his new body. He’s big, he’s got venom, and he has way too much fun scaring other animals for the fun of it. I think his only downside is that he can’t exactly sneak or spy on anyone cuz they all know he’s coming lmao. Like his og form, Njano tends to leave his (or should I say, Kenge’s) tongue sticking out, making Kenge’s body a little less intimidating, much to Kenge’s chagrin
- Sumu in Shupavu’s body: This has got to be the strangest one. A scorpion in a skink’s body. While Sumu kinda enjoys the new look (and he has a much easier chance of making a new friend if he wanted to), he’s no longer venomous. And he’s got a lot more predators than he usually had, making him turn to Shupavu and Njano for protection. Also he internally freaked out when he accidentally detached Shupavu’s tail, thinking he was gonna die (which is realistic for scorpions)
- Kenge in Njano’s body: This is probably the funniest one yet. Kenge, the big venomous monitor lizard with a hatred for anything little is….well, little. And because he doesn’t have any venom either, he’s pretty much harmless. He can’t even be taken seriously cuz Njano’s face is so goofy, he appears angy and that just makes everyone laugh and go “awww”. Lmao poor Kenge
Thankfully, everyone only has to deal with this for a day, since Jasiri manages to reverse it (as for how, off the top of my head, she wishes on the north star)

DFF is such great show and I enjoy the portrayal of the characters and the plot. Although I am not much into JinPhee ship (even though their scene was hot) - meaning I won't actively search fics of them;-D. But I absolutely don't understand the hate this ship gets. Or Jin character gets? Like, did I miss something? Why there is so much hate towards this pairing? I don't get it. Or do they dislike Jin character so much?
So I think there are 3 main reasons that people hate PheeJin and specifically Jin as much as they do, and I'll see if I can explain it coherently below lmao
First is cultural differences.
I've noticed that by and large a lot of the hatred directed at Jin comes from international fans being extremely harsh, and I think it's partially because they don't understand some of the nuance of Thai culture. Which to be fair, why would they?
One aspect is that they get angry that Jin lied to the police without taking into account that the police are corrupt - both in the narrative and also in Thailand in general.
Another is they get mad at Jin for recording Non - which to be fair, really does suck lmao. But they make it about Jin recording Non instead of reporting the assault happening, without taking into consideration that the age of consent in Thailand is 15, which means that what happened with Non and Keng isn't technically statuatory rape. Still bad and awful and Non was coerced and assaulted, don't get me wrong - but that makes it slightly less clear cut IMO when it comes to the question of Jin seeing Non "cheating."
You can even see within the show that the reactions to that video are by and large slut-shaming and not "omg that kid was assaulted."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So to recap: Taking the video = bad. But I think people get a bit too self-righteous about the reasons why Jin took it.
Second is purity/cancel culture.
I'm sure it hasn't escaped your notice that in the internet age, if you make one mistake you're a terrible, irredeemable person and should be canceled forever. I think that's playing a part in this. All of the characters make mistakes, and because of that they're all irredeemable pieces of shit who deserve to die. Except for Non who is just a victim and has never done anything wrong (sarcasm).
In seriousness, I think that's part of it. And the fact that Non is SO sympathetic it kind of overrides people's sympathies for the other characters. I'm not 100% sure why people hate Jin the most out of everyone else considering he's the one who has tried to help Non the most out of the friend group... I guess they just have higher standards for people who try to help? Idk. Either way it seems to me that they expect Jin to be a perfectly-well-adjusted little hero who always does what's right and never makes mistakes. Instead of what he really is: a kid.
And last is fan favorites/shipping.
A big part of the reason that PheeJin shippers are getting so much hate is because TaCode shippers and PheeNon shippers have decided their ship is The Ship of the series, and think that Phee is just using Jin for revenge and anyone who genuinely ships PJ is fucked up, etc.
It's just ship war bullshit waged by largely Barcode stans, but it's certainly tiresome.
To be clear, I have nothing against PheeNon. I am of the opinion that Phee and Non were a cute high school romance that wouldn't have lasted because they had conflicting styles of showing affection and love (I'll write a post about it someday lol) but that doesn't mean I hate the ship. I thought they were very cute and it was fun to see TaCode on screen since I wrote MacauChay in my KPTS days ahahaha I just like the spice and fire of PheeJin better, and Jin is my favorite character.
I just wish that PheeNon shippers would live and let live instead of acting like they're waging some moral war. They were even crying in BOC's comment section on IG today after they posted the PheeJin poster for episode 9 saying "nooooo Phee is there for revenge he can't really have feelings for Jin!" It's exhausting... 🫠
General disclaimer: if you don't like Jin or like PheeNon better I'm not saying any of the above things applies to you. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, I'm just dissecting some of the over-the-top hate I've seen/experienced in fandom spaces lately.

So, this is update after ep 7. I still think Top, Tee and Por are the main culprits in this (Por became the king of assholes in this ep, I hate him sm, like man's dead and I want to kill him again). Although it seems Tee started being nice, but I don't really trust him at this point, might be just an act. But if there was, by any chance, a beginning of change of Tee's character, it might explain how him and White got together. (he started changing, then caused Non's death most likely and that made him want to be a better person, at least a little, and be good to White, but idk, I don't really trust Tee). Jin was still kind to Non. Although he did almost slip with the video. He ended up not posting it, but how did it get out? (Here I would believe that Fluke didn't do it, like when Fluke ever did something directly? Though he was acting suspiciously, that's true.) I still stand for Jin though, it seems he didn't do anything to Non. But I'm starting to think that he feels guilty for not protecting him more, preventing whatever happened to him. That's why he acts calmer than others in present time. He probably feels like he deserves all of that.
I'm just worried that because of his broken heart, he might do something bad to Non in the end. He did see the ghost after all. I don't think he would do anything way too bad, like he still wasn't affected that much and definitely doesn't act that guilty, but I'm still worried. For Phee. Oh, my poor boy. If anyone is behind the killing, it's most likely him. He loved Non deeply, but lost him. First because of Keng, then because of the friend group. And he knows the reason Non got close to Keng is because of the group, so he has every reason to get his revenge on them. But he also must feel so guilty. It seems that his very last words to Non, person he loved so much, were: "Get lost and die." which is what ultimately happened. I can't even imagine what he must be feeling. No matter what Non did, Phee loved him so much, so having this be his last words to him must be eating him ever since Non disappeared.
(By the way, if you're wondering just as me, no, present time Phee is not wearing the red couple bracelet, wonder if it's just to cover up his connection to Non, or if there's other reason. Even though Non cheated on him, he still loved him and I would assume he would keep the bracelet, especially since the guilt about his last words he most likely has)
(and I believe none of those bullies would notice that Phee has the same bracelet as Non was wearing, dudes probably didn't even notice that Non was wearing one, only person who could notice would be Jin, who liked Non and might notice such details about him)
(so yeah, I do wonder)
What again caught my eye is my theory slowly becoming the truth. That being Jin knowing who Phee is. In this ep he saw Non and Phee together. It's unclear if he saw his face, but it's possible that present Jin knows that Phee was Non's boyfriend.
I also wonder if the guilt of not protecting Non (and possibly being mean to him in their last conversation) is what got them together.
We didn't get any hints to White and Tan, so my thoughts about them are still the same.
Now Keng is definitely an asshole, no doubt, using his authority to get Non like this ... big bad. But he still tried to help Non solve the issue with the horse account business. As much as I'm disgusted by his behaviour, I think he never meant to do anything bad to Non (at least not deliberately) and if he's involved with present time events, definitely because he wants to make things right (by revenging Non).
We got introduced to two more characters that might play some role in the future. That being Phee's dad, who is a police officer and Keng's friend and journalist Joy. I wonder if they're involved or what their role might be.
Finally, from the next ep preview, it's clear we're getting into big finale of the flashbacks (finally, I love getting to know the lore, but this is way too long). It seems that they'll drive Non out of his mind (maybe because he won't take his medication?) and something will happen because of that (unless it's just Non playing his role as a murderer). And it's clear that Tee was the one who brought the knife (possible murder weapon?).
Now I just wonder what really happened to Non.
What I'm worried about mostly is how will I view the present time events from this point (and after the next episode). Because there will be at least four episodes of watching this group trying to survive, out of which most of us want two gone asap (Tee, Top), one gone right after them (Fluke), one who we believe is actually behind the murders (Phee), one we want to slap to make him less annoying and more likeable (White, like he's not bad, but he was just super annoying for me to watch, but I want him to get it together and live), one we feel indifferent about (Tan, like we know nothing about this guy, like I'm so neutral about him atm) and one most of us want to survive for sure (Jin).
I'm really worried that now the scary aspect of me being worried about some characters will be gone and it will ruin the immersion for me. Like if there will be scary suspenseful scene involving Top and the murderer, I would just be like "whatevs, just die" and idk if that's the way one should feel watching horror scenes.
Well, we'll see I guess.
Thank you for reading all this blabbering all the way here.
Have a lovely day!
DFF theory time!
So, I've been thinking a little bit and I want to dump my thoughts about DFF so far (after ep 6).
Generally, I think that Tee and Top definitely did something. Those two were acting the most suspicious when it comes to the whole thing about Non. They were also the most frightened. And they were the ones bullying Non the most (along with Por).
We didn't see much about Por, but I think he was involved too (from what he was trying to say before dying). But it's hard to tell, because we didn't really see his reaction to any events (expect him getting frightened of the masked man so much he ran into a branch ... I'm sorry, I still think it's funny that he basically ended himself, like even the killer must have been like "wow, he made it wayyy to easy for me wtf") but he was very scared about watching the tape, so I assume he did something directly, just as Tee and Top.
Fluke was involved, but not directly. Fluke seems way calmer than Tee and Top. The reason why he's acting like he is, is because he is worried about his future as a doctor. I'm pretty sure he knows exactly what had happened, but kept his mouth shut to keep himself out of the trouble.
Plus from the flashback eps so far, Fluke wasn't directly bullying Non, he wasn't stopping the others and was definitely on their side, but he himself didn't really do anything to Non. That makes me think, he just cares about himself at the end of the day and as long as he is not affected, he doesn't care.
Jin is big question mark right now. It's clear he liked Non and never did anything bad to him. I believe he knows what others did, maybe wasn't directly involved, but knows something.
Either that, or I was thinking he perhaps doesn't know that much. He was acting calmly most of the time, wasn't scared that much.
So I'm thinking:
A) he's directly involved in the killing
B) he's not involved but knows he's safe for some reason
C) he doesn't really know what exactly happened to Non and has no reason to be scared
I really wonder. And I really wonder what his connection to Phee really is.
That gets me to Phee himself. He was Non's lover. So he has a huge motive to get his revenge. But again big question mark.
I also think it's possible that Phee is not involved, but only joined the group to find out what happened to Non. That's why he was asking a lot of questions and wanted to see the tape/video.
It's also possible that Phee is involved somehow.
We probably learn this in the next ep, but I wonder if Jin and Phee knew each other before the Non disappearence. There are some hints that either one or the other is involved, but not both (they were alone for quite some time, never talked about anything sus, which they probably would since it would be ideal time to plan something more).
I think they might have met before Non disappeared, found comfort in each other, most likely really fell for each other (Jin was the one who wanted to get their thing further, Phee said no originally, but during the coffin scene, the way he was looking at Jin, I think there are some feelings, plus the way he told Jinn "I will protect you" like don't tell me he doesn't like him at leat a little bit) and Jin might have helped Phee get into the group. Here it would made sense that Jin wouldn't know what exactly happened and he would get Phee in to help him find out the truth.
And if one is involved with the killing, the other just doesn't know.
They both could be calm just for the reason they know they didn't do anything to Non.
For remaining two characters, White and Tan.
White doesn't seem sus from what we seen, however in one of the trailers, he was wearing the same uniform as Phee in the flashback, so probably him and Phee knew each other prior to joining the friend group? But so far White wasn't really doing anything sus, so it's really a wild guess right now. I just want to see how had he ended up with Tee, if it wasn't his secret plan, because how would such a sweet guy fell for arsehole like Tee?
Only thing that's kind of big question mark is the fact that White was affected by the ghost thing too. Like really strongly. So one wonders what his involvement really is. (Tan and Phee weren't affected, which makes sense as they are not involved at all and did not harm Non).
Tan is a mystery. We haven't learned much about him yet. I wonder if there will be some great reveal about him. He's the most likely candidate to actually be New, Non's brother, but honestly, he didn't do anything sus to make me believe he's involved. Except a little itch during Top's disapperance but I'll talk about that a little later.
Now I want to talk about something I probably haven't seen anyone talk about.
The posibility that none of the boys is involved directly. I'm not saying they couldn't know what's going on, but none of them being the killer.
How I got to it? Simply, that one of them is behind it was my first thought when Por got hurt and someone had to be there when he got injured (we got confirmed that someone cut his arms and then brought the knife inside, plus he clearly saw the masked man). First thing, that can tell who could have done it, is who is missing an alibi. So where was everyone when Por got hurt?
Tee and White were together doing couple stuff.
Phee and Jin were together doing fwb stuff.
Top, Fluke and Tan were together in the living room waiting for Por to get others (they said they sent him to bring other boys to the living room).
See? All of them have alibi for that time. And if one of them was alone, they would clearly questioned it. (since they were looking for Por and wondered if anyone saw him).
For Top's disappearance, all of them were in the house, only Tan was with Top. That obviously means that Tan could do something to Top. But they still definitely saw the masked man before Top crashed the bike. Yes, Tan could've moved Top, drug him (I prefer the explanation that he was drugged, rather than being possessed as some people are suggesting) and then pretend he disappeared when he was unconscious, but he couldn't have appeared as the masked man and definitely couldn't have ensured that Top will crash the bike at such a convenient spot, close to the shrine (or whatever that builidng is).
So that makes me think that the killer is some ninth person (which is literally the premise of the show) with possibilty of Jin or Phee knowing what's going on (especially since the killer had the opportunity to get them in the coffin, but just left them be). The ninth person could be New (Non's brother) or maybe Keng (the teacher, he's defo acting sus and I wouldn't be surprised if he was behind something sketchy as well) or even someone else they just asked for help (I wouldn't be surprised, they are not afraid of plottwists in this drama, hell I wouldn't be shocked if Non is actually alive and it would be him all the time).
What is clear is that it has to be someone familiar with the script Non wrote (masked man, similarity of attacks, connection to the cult) and someone who knows that Por, Top, Tee and Fluke did something to Non, while also knowing that Phee, Jin, Tan and White (possibly?) are not involved.
And by the way, them seeing the ghost and seemingly supernatural stuff could be just case of something called "mass hysteria". Basically group of people being scared/affected by something they all believe it's true to the point of having the same hallucinations/visions.
I'm sorry for making this long and blabbering this much. I don't even think anything of this might be true 😅
(I will probably update this after each episode from now on, because why not actually).
Thank you for reading this, if by any chance you got all the way here.
Have a lovely day!
