ok so in case y'all are new or forgot. i don't hate hippos. i actually think they're cool. i just hate how hippos are represented in the media. the prohippo propaganda, if you will. i think sharks deserve the hype hippos get but i think that's my own bias coming into play because i really really like sharks. this relates to my animal crossing island, because out of my two starter villagers one is a faggot eagle named quinn and the fucking one is biff. who is a hippo. this is a cosmic joke. but look. i said i don't hate hippos and i stand by that. i can't even be that mad. he's red n cute n angry looking... the hippo depiction is satisfactory imo. i can do this. quinn on the other hand. quinn was mean to me. quinn hurt my feelings. i want quinn gone.

oh yeah my bad 😭 I tend to mix up Biff and Spike because they have the same shirt, they're both villagers that I find underrated and they're from species that ppl tend to dislike. I think that might be why I said rhino instead of hippo ahah

ALLIGATOR: literally dont think ive ever had an alligator but based off concept alone roswell. drago is cool too but everyone likes drago so it doesnt really count

ANTEATER: olaf or zoe

BEAR: klaus, chow and curt are close seconds

BEAR CUB: i have to shoutout tammy bc shes been a recurring character in my NL and NH towns. i like murphy's design too

BIRD: hard to say. i guess jay or twiggy because those are the ones ive had. and admiral because he reminds me of general skarr which is amusing to me.

BULL: IDK rodeo i guess

CAT: there are more cats than any other species so this is hard... i have past villager bias for bob, kabuki, katt, and monique. also really enjoy ankha, merry, raymond, stinky (strafes out of trajectory of tossed brick) and tabby (dodges other brick). also really miss pierre bring back pierre PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PL

CHICKEN: i had becky in one of my ACNL towns, i have goose in my NH town, and i had either ava or betty in my gcn town. not particularly partial to any of the other ones

DOG: past villager bias for goldie & shep. hard tie between goldie & shep i love them both. also really like lucky

Alright motherfucks

I’m running on 6 hours of sleep that I got 23 hours ago, it’s morning and I’m waiting for the coffee to kick in, so I’m going to give reasons why all my villagers in Animal Crossing are baby and I love them, all pictures are just from google yada yada let’s get this shit rolling

this is Biff and he is my best friend he gave me a radio and I’ve caught like two fleas from him. I understand that fleas happen Biff it’s okay when you work out all the time the sweat makes you an easy target. I may not be the athlete type but I support you in your efforts to get swole.

this is Shari and FUCK whatever jacksepticeye has to say about her because I love her. she and biff were the first two to move to my island so I posted a bad drawing of me holding hands with them on the bulletin board. one time she was staring at a snail on a rock and I caught it and she clapped and I was so happy.

this is erik. he likes to water the flowers next to the campsite (i think he keeps notes on them because he sometimes pulls out a book while doing so) and apparently bugs whisper to him in his sleep about how to craft tables. I love his lil sweater look at that perfect boy. he’s just so sweet and I can’t wait for winter so I can see him in a fluffy winter coat.

this is melba, I love her glasses and I love her little dress. she calls me toasty and it comforts me because the word makes me think of a steaming mug of cocoa on a chilly autumn day. she moved out two days ago though and I cried but you know what they say about letting things you love go: do.

this is flora and I didn’t invite her to my island when I first found her on a nook miles island but then two islands later she showed up again and I took it as a sign. I mailed her an ice cream lamp once. I want to make her a star like she’s always dreamed of, i’m sure her beautiful pink feathers would make for an awesome brand of faux-feather scarves that people would wear to show their love for her.

this is marshal and he was the first one to visit my camp site, and everything he said about this island needing him and being exited to have him was entirely correct. I gave him a cool suit jacket and the next day I saw him wear it and my heart exploded. apparently he’s a popular villager and I can see why I mean come on he baby

this is rooney he radiates fit grandpa energy. he likes hanging out in the orchard and walks in the rain and his house is literally just a gym. he doesn’t have a bed. this kangaroo does not sleep only train. he knows what approaches. he is the only one who will be ready to fight.

I guess this has unofficially become my AC:NH blog until this pandemic eases up and my mind can focus on actual writing again.

In the meantime, join me down the (probably will take 40 minutes to read) rabbit hole as I pack-bond a bit too much with my villagers and take an epic two-week journey in my quest to fill up my island’s resident cap.

There were tears. There were surprises. There were land disputes. There’s even romance (not really, but whatever...).
