If you visited Goa than now you desire to live there each time, you visit, Goa opens a new chapter from past.
How Many Days are for Goa
Those people who stay close to the Goa, visit Goa for 3 to 4 days for relaxation on the beach. 3 to 4 days is not enough for the Goa, it deserves longer stay, like one week to 10 days. In this state, many beautiful places are there.
Where to stay in Goa
Goa is a small state. But to select to stay in Goa is a different experience. If you love to party and more Goa offers to the tourist, must select the Baga or Calangute. Those who love offbeat stays and serenity can choose between further North and South Goa.
North or South Goa, how to choose where to stay: this is very difficult to choose. If you are staying at Baga/Calangute than almost everything is available which you wish. Multiple bike rentals, car rentals, accommodation options. Cheap rate hotels, central bus stand, transportation facility, nice beach, café. Amazing nightlife also but the beach is crowded when you are on weekend. Due to that prices of beach shacks are also high. If you are staying at Arambol/Ashwem which is located at North Goa. In this area beaches are less crowded, the entire beach is yours. It is a safer option for a solo women traveler but here you cannot find a much more water sport activity and delightful nightlife as compare to Baga. If you are staying at south Goa you can find multiple luxury resorts and other stay option. This area is less crowded and it has a beautiful beach. If you want a local experience than south Goa is best to stay but it is away from the Airport and railway station.
What to wear in Goa
Wearing bikini/swimsuit in Goa?
Beaches in Goa are cool in dressing compared to other beaches. Here you did not attract unwanted male stare/attention: Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Vagator, Colva, Arambol, Ashwem. Palolem, these beaches are cool as well. If you are staying at the beach side resort, you can wear a bikini and wonder in the sea. when you are going to the city or going to eat,
The shopping experience in Goa: In the Goa, there is one market named as the flea market of Anjuna and the likes of it which sell several interesting stuff. Here you must do the bargain. It may yield a good buy or sometimes you have to let it go. Bargaining in Indian local market is an art by itself. This flea market in earlier days used to sell imported goods. Most of these products make their way from China. Now it is one village. Some of the best products in this market are listed below:
1. A bottle of Feni
2. Azulejos: Handpainted tiles of Goa
3. Bottle of Kokum Juice
4. Bibinca cake
5. Kunbi sari
6. Spices, especially black pepper and bird’s eye chilies
7. Musical instruments
